This document outlines a process map for applying design thinking to make an office environment more conducive to creative work. The process involves understanding the context of the problem by empathizing with stakeholders like creative designers, managers, and administrative staff. Insights from stakeholders are then used to generate and prototype ideas to address concerns. The ideas are tested as pilot solutions to evaluate their effectiveness in mitigating stakeholder concerns. The document also suggests design thinking can help decision makers recognize issues that need solving and create awareness of problems and how they affect stakeholders. Role playing and case studies may demonstrate benefits of addressing the problem.

Often the decision makers are unable to recognize and accept that there is a
problem that needs solving and it is here that I feel design thinking can
contribute the most.
This methodology can contribute towards creating awareness and
appreciation among the executive staff about the importance of this concern
and how it affects the various stakeholders
Plays as an analogous model for effectively communicating ideas/points of
view/relevance of issue can be used to bring such issue to the fore front
Empathetic presentations/ role playing demonstrations can be presented to
The executive group to create appreciation of the problem with
demonstrated benefits to solving the problem. Any case studies where
tackling such issues has led to the benefit sought can also be presented.
Feedback from these can be taken to refine method of communication
