Get Out Scene
After a long day of going to classes, my best friend and I decided to go watch Get Out after hearing
from our other friends who had already watched it and said it was worth watching. We knew that our
time was going to be well spent by enjoying a well made film. The film Get Out is seen by some
viewers as a horror movie, but for me it is seen more a suspense film. The plot, dialogue, and
characters make the film worthwhile. The actors and visual effects that the director decided to use for
the film make it a piece of art that should be viewed by anyone that enjoys suspense. The script of Get
Out, is an essential element to the film because it is what makes it worthwhile. The director s choice of
plot is effective because it provokes its viewers to get into the story as the plot develops. The director
does a great job keeping the truth from being discovered and at the same time provides hints to the
truth, which contributes to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A visual that is used is the zoom out of the camera in one scene making it more powerful and
suspenseful. The use of zoom ins to the faces of the characters in important scenes add to the suspense
by helping to transmit the emotions and mood of the characters and is part of what makes the film
excellent. Another visual that makes the film marvelous is the use of a green screen for one of the
scenes to make Daniel s character seem as if he was in space sinking increasingly into a lost space.
The use of this visual adds creativity to the film because even though this film doesn t include many
special effects using the green screen is enough to make that scene powerful. A visual that is important
to the film and its story is the use of the flash of a camera in one scene in which you can see the flash
reflecting in his eyes. This visual helps to make the scene stronger and cause a deeper effect on the
audience view of the film making the film more appetizing for their

The Effects Of Fairy Tales
When thinking about fairy tales many of us, if not all of us, revert back to childhood. When we were
children some of the best memories are those of the movies we used to watch; Cinderella, Sleeping
Beauty, Snow White, The Frog Prince, things of those sorts. What many of us do not know is that fairy
tales go back farther than that of Disney s productions. In this course, we have been learning about
different views of fairy tales. One of the views that we have focused a lot on is told by Bruno
Bettelheim in his book, The Uses of Enchantment. In his eyes fairy tales have the most effect on
children and the way children grow up. The second view that we have learned about is J.R.R Tolkien s
in his essay, On Fairy Stories . Tolkien claims that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Tolkien first states that recovery includes return and renewal of health. [Recovery] is a re gaining
regaining of a clear view. (Tolkien, J.R.R (1947 ed.) p.19) By this Tolkien means that recovery is not
seeing the world for what it is but rediscovery of the banal, of the day to day world. Recovery is
seeing things in a different light, and that is what fairy tales help to do. Fairy tales take the everyday
world that we live and paint them in a light that allows us to offset what is going on in our world
today, or to restore the visions that we have of our lives. He even relates this theory of recovery to
himself in the quote For the story maker who allows himself to be free with Nature can be her lover
not her slave. It was in fairy stories that I first divined the potency of the words, and the wonder of the
things, such as stone, and wood, and iron; tree and grass; house and fire; bread and wine. (Tolkien,
J.R.R (1947 ed.) p.20). I agree strongly with this in the sense that without these stories of fantasy how
are we ever going to recover and see our world as great again with all the bad that happens. Children
are not to be concerned with the horrors of the world as adults

Bebop Research Papaer Essay
Bebop music was the next evolutionary change of Jazz music that succeeded swing music. This paper
s aim is look at musicians who impacted this era, exploring more in depth Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie
Parker. In the early 1940 s, the swing bands began to all sound the same as well as work along
predictable chord changes.1 The music was now not used for dancing. Some people believed that this
would let the music go away from the elite social groups, and now be for everybody. Also just because
a musician could play swing music well, there was no guarantee that the same musician would be able
to perform Bebop. This new style of music was defined through adventurous soloists such as Dizzy
Gillespie. Although swing music did have some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Gillespie s first recordings were with the Teddy Hill Orchestra Band. After being with
Hill for a few years, Gillespie joined Cab Calloway in the summer of 1939. 13 They played at the
Cotton Club but Calloway was touring a lot. This gave Dizzy the opportunity to develop his
musicianship through style and knowledge through playing at all night jam sessions. Then, in 1942,
Gillespie joined Earl Fatha Hines band.
Unfortunately, in 1943, lots of band members left, including Dizzy Gillespie. He began to form his
own bands that started by opening at Onyx Club on 52nd St in New York

became a hot spot for this new evolutional sound in Jazz. In 1956 Gillespie and

Your Inner Fish Reflection
Your Inner Fish Reflection Essay While I was reading Your Inner Fish, I went through a journey that
changed my viewpoint on the topic of evolution. Before reading this book, I did not believe in
evolution. I thought that is was just another thing that I was being taught to believe and that it didn t
actually have any solid evidence behind it. I figured that there could never be evidence solid enough to
convince me that we were related to fish in any way, shape, or form. Your Inner Fish changed my
opinion by showing me that there is actual fact to back up the theory. In chapter 5, it explains about
the Sonic Hedgehog gene, and how it is in every living creature including humans, and how it forms
our digits, and how it is in skates as well.

My Experience With My Heritage
I was born and raised in America. However, my experiences here would be extremely limited if I
denied my Spanish heritage. I live in America, but my heart and mind are often with my heritage. As a
young, narrow minded child, I grew up like most children. The main difference was that I spent my
summers visiting Europe and learning my language and culture, which has since become sacrosanct to
my identity. Through these activities, I felt myself becoming more different from my classmates and
the kids in my neighborhood. After some years of feeling like a pariah, my family moved to a more
diverse town, where I learned that every culture is different from the music to the mannerisms, and
that I wasn t the only one who was more than just American . Though I felt marginalized at times, I
am grateful to have been raised in America. One of the beautiful things about this country is that one
can be raised here, while still incorporating and being a part of their original culture. I have gained an
appreciation for all the activities and interactions I have experienced, and I see them as parts of a well
rounded education. I have become more accepting of others, grown with a passion for connecting with
and learning from others, and developed a unique, global perspective.
Growing up, one of the places I felt most at home was at the Spanish Club in Newark, Club España.
Here, I participated in a traditional dance group that met weekly. In the Galician region of Spain,

Personal Interest
The personal interest is an attitude which consists in pulling the best party of circumstances by
compromising if need with the ethics principles and by acting only in his own interest to the detriment
of others. Any action results from a motivation. If we harm others, it is from a motivation; and if we
help others, it is also from a motivation. We say of an honest and ethical person that she is made lose
interest whereas a interested person is considered as deceitful and selfish. Nevertheless, he is natural
on behalf of each of us, to pursue or to protect his interests. The interest is necessary for the man. But
the interest, it is also the search for what can benefit us and this can raise an ethical problem. The

bound to the results of the made work. Therefore, a manager who uses the system of rewards in case
of good work will always motivate more his team. Indeed, a person who knows that she will be
rewarded is by receiving an increase or by receiving a good grade or still the gratitude of its superior
will always be more motivated to supply a work that somebody who will receive no reward and no
gratitude of its superiors, who will feel so totally useless. It s the same for the system of punishment, a
person who knows that she will be reprimanded if she hurts her work or break the regulation will
always be more motivated to supply a good work and have a good attitude to avoid a punishment.
Especially as the punishment being bound to the reward a person who is not punishes because done
well its work has big chances to be to reward afterward.
However, Weiss and Adler showed that the personality plays a more important role on the motivation
in the low situations, characterized by the freedom left with the subjects to make personal choices
concerning the nature, the direction, the intensity of the efforts and their obstinacy in the time. Of this
fact certain persons can not be susceptible to the system of punishments and rewards because their
moral and ethical values as well as their character and probably education are not in agreement

Effect Of The Reminder System On Appointment Nonadherence...
This experiment was used to determine the impact of reminder systems on appointment nonadherence
rates in a clinic population. Clinician time lost due to no shows is unrecoverable. Because of the
unpredictable nature of appointment nonadherence, providers schedule gaps cannot be filled with
other patients. Since the no shows then to occur at spotty intervals, creating short periods of
downtime, it is even difficult for providers to fill the time with administrative tasks. The loss of
revenue from fees that would have been charged for services had patients kept their appointments

sample (Sims, 2012, p. 161). The results of this research is significant when it comes to try to bring
the maximum amount of money to the clinic. The more patients that adhere to the appointment, the
more money the clinic brings in. Short message service is a low cost tool that could be used to create
higher adherence rates. In England alone, a 25% to 28% reduction in missed outpatient appointments
would translate to national cost savings of more than $245 million per year. Short message service
encourages patients to show up to their scheduled appointments. Another significant study was
Maxwell s study that examined effectiveness of reminder systems on appointment adherence rates.
The goal of this study was to determine the impact of reminder systems on appointment adherence
rates within a clinic. According to Maxwell from a daily list of patients scheduling appointments,
patients who verbally consented to participate in the study were randomly assigned to receive a phone
reminder, mailed reminder, or no reminder (control group). The three groups consisted of (1) patients
receiving an automated telephone reminder of their appointment the day prior to the actual
appointment, (2) patients receiving a postcard reminder within 5 days prior to the actual appointment,
and (3) patients receiving no reminder (p. 507). The findings of this study also showed

Is Hamlet A Tragedy Essay
The play Hamlet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. The play is about a Prince who was
called from the school of Denmark to attend his father s funeral. He was shocked to see his Queen
mother already remarried to his uncle Claudius whom he suspects to be responsible for his father s
death. Hamlet then promised to take revenge on his father s murder.
The play Hamlet is considered as Aristotle s Poetics because it is a well written tragedy. According to
Aristotle, the most important element of the tragedy is plot and followed by others such as character,
diction, thought, song and spectacle. Aristotle defined tragedy as an imitation of an action that is
serious, complete and of a certain magnitude. Aristotelian tragedy is not a narrative ... Show more

Hamartia is a flaws or character s own error which brings a terrible result. For example, Hamlet
hesitates to kill his cruel uncle leads to bring his own destruction. Stabbing Polonius behind the
curtain and his painful action towards his lover Ophelia and declaring that she should be sent to
nunnery which seems to have lost his mind. This leads to his downfall. The second concept according
to Aristotle is Anagnorisis/Recognition which is when the character recognizes the hard truth. When
Hamlet returns to Denmark after his ship is hijacked by pirates, he learns that Ophelia has committed
suicide because of her madness and over her father s death, he realized his flaw of having mistakenly
murder her father and he is unsuccessful in expressing his love and proposing her for marriage.
Another example is, by the end of the novel, Hamlet and audiences both are convinced that Uncle
Claudius killed his father and planning to kill him as well. Another example is when Hamlet realizes
and recognizes his faults after seeing his enemy actively seeking justice and honor and

Themes in of Mice and Men
Themes, Motifs Symbols Themes Themes are the fundamental and often universal ideas explored in a
literary work. The Predatory Nature of Human Existence Of Mice and Men teaches a grim lesson
about the nature of human existence. Nearly all of the characters, including George, Lennie, Candy,
Crooks, and Curley s wife, admit, at one time or another, to having a profound sense of loneliness and
isolation. Each desires the comfort of a friend, but will settle for the attentive ear of a stranger. Curley
s wife admits to Candy, Crooks, and Lennie that she is unhappily married, and Crooks tells Lennie
that life is no good without a companion to turn to in times of confusion and need. The characters are
rendered helpless by their isolation, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Motifs Motifs are recurring structures, contrasts, and literary devices that can help to develop and
inform the text s major themes. The Corrupting Power of Women The portrayal of women in Of Mice
and Men is limited and unflattering. We learn early on that Lennie and George are on the run from the
previous ranch where they worked, due to encountering trouble there with a woman.
Misunderstanding Lennie s love of soft things, a woman accused him of rape for touching her dress.
George berates Lennie for his behavior, but is convinced that women are always the cause of such
trouble. Their enticing sexuality, he believes, tempts men to behave in ways they would otherwise not.
A visit to the flophouse (a cheap hotel, or brothel) is enough of women for George, and he has no
desire for a female companion or wife. Curley s wife, the only woman to appear in Of Mice and Men,
seems initially to support George s view of marriage. Dissatisfied with her marriage to a brutish man
and bored with life on the ranch, she is constantly looking for excitement or trouble. In one of her
more revealing moments, she threatens to have the black stable hand lynched if he complains about
her to the boss. Her insistence on flirting with Lennie seals her unfortunate fate. Although Steinbeck
does, finally, offer a sympathetic view of Curley s

BIBLICAL VIEW OF SEXUALITY
The discussion on any issue related to sexuality has to begin from what the Bible teaches about
sexuality and marriage. The first account of creation as given in Genesis 1 affirms the equality of
sexes, since both were created in the image of God and both share the stewardship of the earth. The
second account of creation as given in Genesis 2 affirms the complementarity of the sexes which
constitutes the basis for heterosexual marriage. John Stott lists three fundamental truths that emerge
from the second account of creation. The first truth is man s need for companionship. God found that
it is not good for man to be alone (2:18). Being created in the image of God who is love, man has the
capacity and the need to love and to be loved. Here God declares that He will make a helper or
companion suitable for him . This companion was also designed to be his sexual partner with whom
he was to become one flesh and procreate children. Secondly, Genesis 2 reveals God s provision to
meet man s need. God parades before Adam all the beasts and the birds that he created. Having found
no suitable companion for man among them, God makes a woman out of man. This was a special
work of creation in which the sexes were differentiated. Out of the undifferentiated humanity of the

The Little Mermaid
The Little Mermaid is a fairy tale by the Danish poet and author Hans Christian Andersen. The tale is
about a young mermaid willing to give up her life in the sea and her identity as a merperson to gain a
human soul and the love of a human prince. The tale was first published in 1837 and has been adapted

But to gain legs, she must give up her most precious asset, her beautiful voice. There are some
standard elements of teenage life here, including young love, and some degree of rebellion from ones
parents, in this case King Triton, Ariel s father. It was not Ariel s physical beauty that the Prince loved,
but her voice. He is enraptured by the voice even in the presence of Ariel s physical beauty and great
legs. The metaphor here should be obvious. What does a woman lose when she becomes subservient
to a man, or male dominated culture in general? She loses her voice. The point of the movie is that a
young woman s beauty should come not from her physical attributes, but from her voice, her
personality, her self. Metaphorically, without her voice in society, she is pretty helpless and powerless
to change what s going on around her, explain herself, etc. As for the prince he isn t interested in Ariel
just for her looks. It is also important to note that she gets her reward only after working together with
her father, King Triton.
In the original version The Little Mermaid, longing for the prince and an eternal soul, eventually visits
the Sea Witch, who sells her a potion that gives her legs, in exchange for her tongue. The Sea Witch
cuts her tongue and warns her that once she becomes a human, she will never be able to return to the
sea. Drinking the potion made out of snakes and

The Importance Of Toxic Leadership
The Corps of the Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) has been around since the formation of the
Continental Army in 1775. The basic responsibility of the NCO was to fill gaps in the lines and keep
soldiers quiet on mission while leading (Perkioniemi, 2009). Currently, the responsibilities of the
NCO focus on soldier welfare and accomplishing the mission (NCO Creed). Toxic leadership is a
serious concern for the military, and it is undermining the reputation of the NCO Corps. What is toxic
leadership, how can it be addressed, and what will happen to the Corps if it is allowed to continue?
Toxic leadership as defined by Wilson (2014) is a combination of self centered attitudes, motivations,
and behaviors that have adverse effects on subordinates, the organization, and mission performance .
NCOs, just as civilians, range from poor leaders to excellent leaders; but when does poor leadership
become toxic leadership and what causes this toxic leadership? Not every soldier is born to lead. Some
soldiers are bad decision makers, poor time managers, or just unable to inspire confidence in their
fellow soldiers. There is nothing wrong with being a follower if you are a competent individual who
can perform the given tasks. A NCO who cannot step up and lead is not a toxic leader, they are a bad
leader. With education and training NCOs with poor leaderships skills develop into competent leaders.
Toxic leadership is a result of narcissistic leaders, individuals who have an

Simpson raises how the issue of trespass (4) is dealt with in relation to the resilience indigenous

somewhat hazardous, its occupants can be when disturbed, stressing the effect of how dangerous they
can be if one is unacquainted with the Australian environment and the animal s capabilities (47). From
this example, Simpson suggests that anxieties that local humans may have been transcribed through

The Religious Of Religious Texts
Religious texts also known as scriptures refers to the texts which different religious customs take it to
be sacred or crucial to their religious traditions. They are normally utilized to infer spiritual truths,
evoke a deeper link with the divine, promote communities identity, foster mystical experience and
offering guidance to community as well as individuals on spiritual practices. Numerous spiritual
movements as well as religions believe that their religious texts are divinely or supernaturally inspired.
Additionally, the monotheist faiths perceive their texts as Word of God and strive to do in accordance
to its message. They also deem it as a divine revelation. In USA, numerous significant religion works
are discussed indicating how the US community perceived religion. Thus, this paper aims at
unravelling Frank Peretti s religious work in USA through his novel This Present Darkness as well as
how crucial it is within the broader context of American religious practices.
Body
Religion has remained to be a vibrant as well as vital part of the American society. Peretti in his fiction
novel elaborates on how evil tries to triumph and take over the small town of Ashton. This clearly
indicates that Christianity has not been constant in America and is faced with the immense forces of
dark power. Certainly, new interests and issues have emerged but they have not altered the role of
religion in the Americans life. Diversity forms the only characteristic that differentiates

Is Hell Exothermic Essay
How Logical is the Essay
Regarding to the essay question Is Hell exothermic or endothermic, though the answer that the student
gave was not exactly logical per se, but was certainly well deserved for the grade that he got due to his
creative and innovative way of thinking.
First, the question itself was based on the premise that Hell does exist, which we know most of the
scientists do not agree, as well as the existence of Heaven and God/gods. And since Hell is not to be
found in a place where we can probe, and no one has ever been there and came back, nobody can tell
for sure how does Hell functions . Thus we know that the intension of this question was not actually to
find the answer of the operation of Hell, but to test on how the

Essay On Triple Jump
From creating a performance profiling sheet for the triple jump I have found out what my two key
qualities that are strengths and three key qualities that are areas for improvement in the triple jump.
Performance profile
My two strengths are my rhythm and avoid wasting my energy; it is important that everyone has a
good rhythm when performing the triple jump this is because as the triple jump consists of 3 phases
you will need a good rhythm so you are most likely not to mess it up meaning your score will not be
cancelled. And as you have a good rhythm going you will gain momentum and power, increasing your
jump resulting in a higher score. The reason why... How I could maintain this strength is by practicing
only the 3 phases on a regular basis. From the performance profiling sheet my discrepancy value for
rhythm was 9.
My second strength was using my energy efficiently and effectively. This is important key quality to

Power is one of the most important key qualities to have when performing the jump phase in triple

in the triple jump I will perform exercises such as squat leaps, this is because it will develop power in
my lower body meaning that my vertical jump will be higher allowing me to get a higher score in the
triple jump. I will perform this exercise with 5 reps and 10 sets. I will also perform interval sprinting
which involves high intensity short distance sprinting for 10 15 seconds which will improve my
power, this is because it will increase power in my leg resulting in also increasing my vertical jump. I

The Great Achievements Of The Italian Renaissance
One of the great achievements of the Italian Renaissance is the application perspective, which is the
product of the combination of science and art.The early perspective is invented by the early
Renaissance painter.Perspective enabling artists to scientific accuracy in the reproduction of a two
dimensional surface having a three dimensional space and figures. Art is not a simple art activity but a
scientific activity. An artists use of perspective can create a realistic effect represented (Bouleau 1963).
Leonardo da Vinci, The Last Supper, 1498
In the beginning of the fifteenth century and the sixteenth century, the perspective has become a basic
skill, widely mastered by all painters. As one of three heroes of the Renaissance Leonardo da Vinci
also use the principle of perspective in the creation of a master painting to highlight the theme

the famous fresco The Last Supper will fully reflect his talent in this area. The Last Supper story based

Roosevelt, Jefferson, Washington, And Fdr Essay
When presenting the question of who deserves the title of best President of the United States, one
would not be surprised to find Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, and FDR as the frontrunners. While
each of these presidents was undisputedly successful and groundbreaking in their own right, all fall
short to America s first modern president Theodore Roosevelt. Roosevelt, assuming office at the turn
of the century, redefined and reimagined the role of the president and the executive officialdom. By
expanding the powers of the presidency, Roosevelt was able to move the country forward in both the
international arena and on the home front. Roosevelt s vast success can greatly be attributed to his
charisma, character, and persuasion skills. He understood that the art of governing was truly the power
to persuade, and he mastered the trade. Roosevelt not only improved life domestically as he fought
against inequality and corrupt business practices, but he also achieved his goal of gaining influence
abroad, thus earning the United States a powerful platform on the global stage. Roosevelt s natural
leadership, charm, bravery, and compassion combined with his thorough understanding of the country
s needs, both for the individual and for the long term well being of the country, made him the most
successful president in United States history.
Roosevelt, taking office in 1901 after the assassination of President McKinley, inherited a unique

Antidepressants Cause Birth Defects
The main argument being made is that some antidepressants can cause birth defects, the article
provides us with a study to help prove this. The study looked at data on more than 38,000 women who
had given birth in 1997 2009 and compared what the mother s antidepressants are and the child s
number of birth defects (Neighmond, 2015). One concept or idea that ties into child development is
epigenetics, where the environment influences or alters gene expression (Berk, 2018), which makes
me wonder if in some cases the child being exposed to an environment of a depressed mother, it may
cause some genes to alter. This also ties into the concept of passive gene environment, where parents
who are genetically related to the child set up the environment ... Show more content on

An example could be, if the mother or father is showing signs of depression, they may neglect to take
proper care for the child. Maybe because they are depressed, they may not focus all their time into the
child, rather focusing on their depression. A woman who avoids taking antidepressants during her
pregnancy to try and ensure her baby is born without defects could still have a child with some sort of
birth defect, other things can cause birth defects, such as current or prior drug use illegal or prescribed,
or in other cases that child is just genetically predisposed to it. Birth defects can happen due to genes
malfunctioning or even when there are problems with a chromosome (Berk, 2018). So, it is impossible
to say that a pregnant mother can avoid birth defects by not taking antidepressants. This idea is further
reinforced by Jennita Reefhuis in her abstract video when she cautions us that antidepressants are not
the only thing that can cause birth defects, other possibilities such as pre existing conditions in the
mother who takes antidepressants or other unknown influences may have a large impact on birth
defects as well (Reefhuis,

Corporate Competition, Monopoly, And Monopoly
A firm, an organization which employs resources in order to provide a product or service at a profit,
can be grouped into one of four distinct market structures: perfect competition, monopolistic
competition, oligopoly, and monopoly. Each market structure has its own unique characteristics. Once
a firm is classified, one is able to understand how price and output are determined by a firm. Beval
Saddlery, a firm established in May 1955 by Bev Walter, grew from a shop in a one car garage to a
renowned organization in the equestrian world. Through analysis of the number of firms in the
saddlery industry, the types of products produced by the firms, the ease of entry into the industry, and
the control the individual firms have over the sale price of products, the industry in which Beval
Saddlery operates can be categorized as a monopolistic competition.
To begin with, a monopolistic competition is one of the four major market models. A monopolistic
competition is an industry made up of many producers. The producers in a monopolistic competition
provide differentiated products. Product differentiation includes varied physical characteristics of
products, customer service, and or locational convenience. Differentiation allows firms to be
prominent in the industry. Since goods and or services are differentiated, there is a considerable
amount of emphasis on non price competition, advertising. Although the competition is prevalent in
this market, entry into the industry is

Reflection On PARCC Test
The testing process was a general meeting with the staff who are qualified to administer the PARCC
exam. The principal ran through a state provided PowerPoint and provided the schedule that works
well for the school. The principal explained the security measures as well as who to contact in case of
emergencies or problems. There was also another meeting for the staff that could not attend the
original. All staff members who were involved with PARCC testing had to sign a paper
acknowledging that they attended the training. I was able to work with the secretary and principal to
coordinate testing times. I also served as a test administrator and shadowed the principal. In regards to
the NJ ASK, there were multiple security components that had to be in order. First off, the tests had to
be checked in by two people; the principal and the counselor who is also in charge of testing. The
boxes of tests are then delivered to the testing closet where they are counted and checked in their
designated area. This closet is locked all the time and only the principal has keys to it. The teachers
were responsible to come to the testing closet to collect their materials. The principal was responsible
to make sure that staff members sign out their bins and that all their materials are in the bin.
Reflection
As I reflect on state standardized test, I realize that budgeting extra time is always necessary. While all
PARCC tests have enough time, there was a day where one 8th grade class started late and had
technology issues. This caused a delay in lunches being served to the students. There was also another
issue with the technology in general. Many computers did not load the tests as there was a JAVA
update that needed to take place. There was also the issue with having the tests spread out over 7 days
and the whole school testing window over a month. The vision is to have the students test on mine net
books and I pads. While many schools do go that approach, I find that we would have to teach our
students how to use these tools first prior to the test. This would take always instructional time. While
we have ample computer labs to accommodate 6 classes at one time, it would cause a hardship on the
schedule. I would prefer to

Examining Psychology
Time In The Mind: Examining Psychology Psychology is as ancient as mankind. The concept of
psychology has been dated back to 600 B.C. Early Greek philosophers examined, theorized human
traits and their actions; their studies are now to be considered and known as psychology. Mankind has
molded psychology throughout decades into what it is today the study of the human mind and the way
it affects one s behavior. Psychotherapy and ESP, extrasensory perception, are techniques that are used
to improve human health and well being and their efficacy is widely debated. PSYCHOTHERAPY
Psychotherapy is the treatment of mental or emotional illness by talking about problems rather than by
using medicine or drugs (Merriam Webster), thus aiding one s illness(es) with human interaction and
relationship. Psychotherapy is often a stereotyped practice, as psychologists from Northern University,
John Vessey, and Kenneth Howard reported, those likely to enter therapy are female, white, educated,
well paid and divorced, separated and often never married (Goode and Warner 114), thus proving that
psychotherapy is often stereotyped. Statistics have lead to prove and suggest that with ... Show more

Ethical Dilemmas In What About Bob
What About Bob tells a comical story of a Therapist, Dr. Marvin, and his new patient Bob. Desperate
for help, Bob feels he cannot manage four weeks without his new therapist and decides to crash his
therapist s vacation. The movie depicts many different ethical dilemmas throughout the movie such as
dual relationships, boundaries, and standard of care. Dual Relationships Dr. Leo Marvin, because of
the family s fondness of Bob and his own personal desire for his family members to like and admire
him, he repeatedly continues to let Bob spend time with him and his family. Dr. Marvin should have
been more straightforward with his family about the importance of being overly friendly to a patient
and the implications that could follow. Boundaries In the beginning, Dr. Leo Marvin tries to set clear
boundaries with Bob in a calm manner, but it does not work. In observing the conversations between
Bob and Dr. Leo Marvin, it seemed like the therapist was in too much of a rush to start his vacation
and not enough time to really set up Bob to feel prepared with a plan for his month departure.

Similarities And Differences Between Tikki Movie And Movie
Rikki Tikki Tavi
This story resembles bravery in a little mongos named Rikki Tikki Tavi. A mongos who saves a family
and gets something in return. He protects this family with his life and always thinks of others first.
Rikki is a fighting, protecting, and loving mongos who has killed many of snakes protecting this little
boy named Teddy, and his family. In the story and movie there are many of similarities and
differences, to do with the plot, setting, and characters, comparing the book and the movie Rikki Tikki
Tavi.
Rikki was found by a river soaking wet by Teddy, a boy who wanted to have a funeral for him, and his
family. In both the story and movie he was describe cold and wet; also he was found in the dirt. The
family decided to take him home to warm him up and get him something to eat. During the movie the
big man, Teddy s dad, picked Rikki up at the river holding him with his nose at the man s finger tips,
and Rikki s tail passed his wrist. While in the story it is stated the big man picked him up between
finger and thumb. ( Kipling pg.143) there is a difference between the story and the movie. While the
movie isn t an exact replica there still are a lot of similarities. When the family decided to bring Rikki
Tikki in to dry the movie and story have a difference. The story said that They wrapped him in cotton,
and warmed him over a little fire. (Kipling 143). Although the movie was close it showed Rikki in the
cotton but he wasn t placed over a small fire. Similarities are plentiful in the movie, but there are some
differences to look up to.
Teddy and his family had Rikki for quite some time, and he was curious around the house. In the
movie right before bed Teddy was taking a bath Rikki was climbing on the side of it and fell into the
tub. This is a similarity of both the story and the movie. One difference is written in the story that
Rikki nearly drowned himself in the bathtub, put his nose into ink on a writing table, and burnt it on
the end of the big man s cigar. (Kipling 144). The movie didn t show any of this it hadn t been shown.

The Changes In Religion In The Communist Manifesto By Karl...
For Karl Marx, the changes in religion ultimately reflect the changes happening in society, because the
religious world is just a reflection of the real world. If this is the case here, the use of technology in a
religious setting would make sense, as our technological world is ever expanding and will further
benefit the people at the top of religious hierarchies. In terms of online for profit churches, Marx
might argue that the market is driving the religious realm to cater to technological advances. Marx
states in The Communist Manifesto, The feudal system of industry...now no longer sufficed for the
growing wants of the new markets , meaning that longstanding religious traditions, such as confession
and synagogue teachings before Bar/Bat ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore, Durkheim would also argue that religion is mirrored after society, meaning that as society
evolves specifically in the technological realm religious practices will follow suit. This will occur
because religious representations are collective representations which express collective realities ,
meaning Durkheim would probably think that online churches are meant to appeal to modern ideals
(McIntosh, 1997). As Durkheim states in Religion and Society, the rites are a manner of acting, which
take rise in the midst of the assembled groups which are destined to excite, maintain or recreate
certain mental states... , he further establishes that religious groups will do what is necessary to
conform to what is happening in society in order to stay relevant (McIntosh, 1997). Durkheim would
probably argue in favor of these online for profit church practices because it brings a sense of unity to
modern society, and acts as a way to revitalize the conscience collective, and churches provide a
society whose members are united by the fact that they think in the same way in regard to the sacred
world (McIntosh, 1997). Online churches might provide a new ritual that serves to remind us of our
social solidarity. In opposition, Durkheim might argue that online for profit churches bring with them
a lack of anomie. As stated by

William Blake s Chimney Sweeper Poems
Chimney sweeper Essay
Writers and artists are influenced by the culture of their time. They respond to the world around them
through their work. In the 18th century, England was plagued by the gruesome repercussions of the
industrial revolution. One such repercussion was the child labor of the time, where young boys at the
ages of five and six were for forced to work in harsh conditions, either sweeping chimneys or working
in factories. William Blake used his romantic style of writing to commentate on these ever growing
corruptions of the world. Blake s Chimney Sweeper Poems use opposing ideas of innocence and

The major idea he uses is that of Heaven and religion. In Songs of Innocence, Blake describes an
angel who appears to a boy in a dream. The angel releases the boys from the black coffins and lets
them free into a green plain with the sun high above and says that if he is a good boy he will never
want because god will look after them. Blake makes a strong connection to the idea of Heaven. If you
are good in life you will be with God and want for nothing in Heaven. This angel brings them
salvation from the harsh world from out of a coffin, playing on the idea of death. Religion is also used
in Songs of Experience though it is used more negatively. In the poem, the boy describes that his
parents have, gone up to church to pray (SoE). This could represent the literal form of church or it
could mean they have gone to the big church in the sky meaning heaven and have died, leaving the
boy to fend for himself. However, the parents seem to have chosen the job for the boy and go to
church and think nothing of their child. Heaven is also used generally by saying that this makes up a
heaven of the boys unhappiness, meaning a huge, unconceivable amount (SoE). It is used
paradoxically to the praising of the Priest and King, meaning the Church and state, by the parents.
Religion is used as salvation in Songs of Innocence and negatively Songs of Experience. While the
two both have religious language, the two use their points of view to describe different ideas. The

relationship with Christopher that to some would not have been morally right would we have crack
enigma. There the idea of morally, what people were supposed to be Alan a heterosexual or Pat who
was to intelligent for her society as she said it was considered a waste of time to give a girl a good
education and if you showed a degree of intellectual ability, people seemed to regard you with a
degree of suspicion (pg. 47 48), Patricia is going ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Think of the people that kill and justify it with faith or love. Belief and emotions can change someone
ideas of morally and the big question is where is the line. When do we need to look at a problem like a
computer not a person. We sometimes need to turn off are fear and emotion and decide what is the
best way to save the most people. The problem is the train problem, if a train was going down a track
and you had to either flip the switch and kill one man or kill twenty most people would flip the switch.
But if you had the same case but instead of flipping the switch you had to push the man on the tracks
most could not do it. This is because we are emotional people, but we do have the practical and
analytical intelligence and can analyze I problem and see the math you lose one or twenty. But maybe
it would be I good things to turn off care for a second and push the man in front of the train because
wouldn t can save twenty men. This is why we are not computers, we have morally and emotions that
can we very helpful but sometimes hurtful. The train case one s care and lack of strength lead to
twenty deaths instead of one, so the question is can morally and emotional be a demerit. Would certain
times be better if we could think like computers, this an age old question and I believe no but, maybe
the other side has a point, the computer would have saved twenty men and killed

  • 2. Get Out Scene After a long day of going to classes, my best friend and I decided to go watch Get Out after hearing from our other friends who had already watched it and said it was worth watching. We knew that our time was going to be well spent by enjoying a well made film. The film Get Out is seen by some viewers as a horror movie, but for me it is seen more a suspense film. The plot, dialogue, and characters make the film worthwhile. The actors and visual effects that the director decided to use for the film make it a piece of art that should be viewed by anyone that enjoys suspense. The script of Get Out, is an essential element to the film because it is what makes it worthwhile. The director s choice of plot is effective because it provokes its viewers to get into the story as the plot develops. The director does a great job keeping the truth from being discovered and at the same time provides hints to the truth, which contributes to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A visual that is used is the zoom out of the camera in one scene making it more powerful and suspenseful. The use of zoom ins to the faces of the characters in important scenes add to the suspense by helping to transmit the emotions and mood of the characters and is part of what makes the film excellent. Another visual that makes the film marvelous is the use of a green screen for one of the scenes to make Daniel s character seem as if he was in space sinking increasingly into a lost space. The use of this visual adds creativity to the film because even though this film doesn t include many special effects using the green screen is enough to make that scene powerful. A visual that is important to the film and its story is the use of the flash of a camera in one scene in which you can see the flash reflecting in his eyes. • 3. The Effects Of Fairy Tales When thinking about fairy tales many of us, if not all of us, revert back to childhood. When we were children some of the best memories are those of the movies we used to watch; Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, The Frog Prince, things of those sorts. What many of us do not know is that fairy tales go back farther than that of Disney s productions. In this course, we have been learning about different views of fairy tales. One of the views that we have focused a lot on is told by Bruno Bettelheim in his book, The Uses of Enchantment. In his eyes fairy tales have the most effect on children and the way children grow up. The second view that we have learned about is J.R.R Tolkien s in his essay, On Fairy Stories . Tolkien claims that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Tolkien first states that recovery includes return and renewal of health. [Recovery] is a re gaining regaining of a clear view. (Tolkien, J.R.R (1947 ed.) p.19) By this Tolkien means that recovery is not seeing the world for what it is but rediscovery of the banal, of the day to day world. Recovery is seeing things in a different light, and that is what fairy tales help to do. Fairy tales take the everyday world that we live and paint them in a light that allows us to offset what is going on in our world today, or to restore the visions that we have of our lives. He even relates this theory of recovery to himself in the quote For the story maker who allows himself to be free with Nature can be her lover not her slave. It was in fairy stories that I first divined the potency of the words, and the wonder of the things, such as stone, and wood, and iron; tree and grass; house and fire; bread and wine. (Tolkien, J.R.R (1947 ed.) p.20). I agree strongly with this in the sense that without these stories of fantasy how are we ever going to recover and see our world as great again with all the bad that happens. Children are not to be concerned with the horrors of the world as adults ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Bebop Research Papaer Essay Bebop music was the next evolutionary change of Jazz music that succeeded swing music. This paper s aim is look at musicians who impacted this era, exploring more in depth Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker. In the early 1940 s, the swing bands began to all sound the same as well as work along predictable chord changes.1 The music was now not used for dancing. Some people believed that this would let the music go away from the elite social groups, and now be for everybody. Also just because a musician could play swing music well, there was no guarantee that the same musician would be able to perform Bebop. This new style of music was defined through adventurous soloists such as Dizzy Gillespie. Although swing music did have some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When he arrived in New York City, he was hired by the Teddy Hill Orchestra for a European tour.11 Before being hired, Dizzy was playing around town and making a name for himself. There he lived with his brother in an apartment in New York City. After being with Hill for a few years, Gillespie joined Cab Calloway in the summer of 1939. 13 They played at the Cotton Club but Calloway was touring a lot. This gave Dizzy the opportunity to develop his musicianship through style and knowledge through playing at all night jam sessions. Then, in 1942, Gillespie joined Earl Fatha Hines band. Unfortunately, in 1943, lots of band members left, including Dizzy Gillespie. He began to form his own bands that started by opening at Onyx Club on 52nd St in New York City.14 Dizzy had begun to play bebop in 1940, and was now able to do it full time. • 5. Your Inner Fish Reflection Your Inner Fish Reflection Essay While I was reading Your Inner Fish, I went through a journey that changed my viewpoint on the topic of evolution. Before reading this book, I did not believe in evolution. I thought that is was just another thing that I was being taught to believe and that it didn t actually have any solid evidence behind it. I figured that there could never be evidence solid enough to convince me that we were related to fish in any way, shape, or form. Your Inner Fish changed my opinion by showing me that there is actual fact to back up the theory. In chapter 5, it explains about the Sonic Hedgehog gene, and how it is in every living creature including humans, and how it forms our digits, and how it is in skates as well. ... • 6. My Experience With My Heritage I was born and raised in America. However, my experiences here would be extremely limited if I denied my Spanish heritage. I live in America, but my heart and mind are often with my heritage. As a young, narrow minded child, I grew up like most children. The main difference was that I spent my summers visiting Europe and learning my language and culture, which has since become sacrosanct to my identity. Through these activities, I felt myself becoming more different from my classmates and the kids in my neighborhood. After some years of feeling like a pariah, my family moved to a more diverse town, where I learned that every culture is different from the music to the mannerisms, and that I wasn t the only one who was more than just American . Though I felt marginalized at times, I am grateful to have been raised in America. One of the beautiful things about this country is that one can be raised here, while still incorporating and being a part of their original culture. Motifs Motifs are recurring structures, contrasts, and literary devices that can help to develop and inform the text s major themes. The Corrupting Power of Women The portrayal of women in Of Mice and Men is limited and unflattering. We learn early on that Lennie and George are on the run from the previous ranch where they worked, due to encountering trouble there with a woman. Misunderstanding Lennie s love of soft things, a woman accused him of rape for touching her dress. George berates Lennie for his behavior, but is convinced that women are always the cause of such trouble. Their enticing sexuality, he believes, tempts men to behave in ways they would otherwise not. A visit to the flophouse (a cheap hotel, or brothel) is enough of women for George, and he has no desire for a female companion or wife. Curley s wife, the only woman to appear in Of Mice and Men, seems initially to support George s view of marriage. Dissatisfied with her marriage to a brutish man and bored with life on the ranch, she is constantly looking for excitement or trouble. BIBLICAL VIEW OF SEXUALITY The discussion on any issue related to sexuality has to begin from what the Bible teaches about sexuality and marriage. The first account of creation as given in Genesis 1 affirms the equality of sexes, since both were created in the image of God and both share the stewardship of the earth. The second account of creation as given in Genesis 2 affirms the complementarity of the sexes which constitutes the basis for heterosexual marriage. John Stott lists three fundamental truths that emerge from the second account of creation. The first truth is man s need for companionship. God found that it is not good for man to be alone (2:18). Being created in the image of God who is love, man has the capacity and the need to love and to be loved. Here God declares that He will make a helper or companion suitable for him . This companion was also designed to be his sexual partner with whom he was to become one flesh and procreate children. Secondly, Genesis 2 reveals God s provision to meet man s need. God parades before Adam all the beasts and the birds that he created. Having found no suitable companion for man among them, God makes a woman out of man. This was a special work of creation in which the sexes were differentiated. Out of the undifferentiated humanity of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There are some standard elements of teenage life here, including young love, and some degree of rebellion from ones parents, in this case King Triton, Ariel s father. It was not Ariel s physical beauty that the Prince loved, but her voice. He is enraptured by the voice even in the presence of Ariel s physical beauty and great legs. The metaphor here should be obvious. What does a woman lose when she becomes subservient to a man, or male dominated culture in general? She loses her voice. The point of the movie is that a young woman s beauty should come not from her physical attributes, but from her voice, her personality, her self. Metaphorically, without her voice in society, she is pretty helpless and powerless to change what s going on around her, explain herself, etc. As for the prince he isn t interested in Ariel just for her looks. It is also important to note that she gets her reward only after working together with her father, King Triton. In the original version The Little Mermaid, longing for the prince and an eternal soul, eventually visits the Sea Witch, who sells her a potion that gives her legs, in exchange for her tongue. Currently, the responsibilities of the NCO focus on soldier welfare and accomplishing the mission (NCO Creed). Toxic leadership is a serious concern for the military, and it is undermining the reputation of the NCO Corps. What is toxic leadership, how can it be addressed, and what will happen to the Corps if it is allowed to continue? Toxic leadership as defined by Wilson (2014) is a combination of self centered attitudes, motivations, and behaviors that have adverse effects on subordinates, the organization, and mission performance . NCOs, just as civilians, range from poor leaders to excellent leaders; but when does poor leadership become toxic leadership and what causes this toxic leadership? Not every soldier is born to lead. Some soldiers are bad decision makers, poor time managers, or just unable to inspire confidence in their fellow soldiers. There is nothing wrong with being a follower if you are a competent individual who can perform the given tasks. A NCO who cannot step up and lead is not a toxic leader, they are a bad leader. The study looked at data on more than 38,000 women who had given birth in 1997 2009 and compared what the mother s antidepressants are and the child s number of birth defects (Neighmond, 2015). One concept or idea that ties into child development is epigenetics, where the environment influences or alters gene expression (Berk, 2018), which makes me wonder if in some cases the child being exposed to an environment of a depressed mother, it may cause some genes to alter. This also ties into the concept of passive gene environment, where parents who are genetically related to the child set up the environment ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... An example could be, if the mother or father is showing signs of depression, they may neglect to take proper care for the child. Maybe because they are depressed, they may not focus all their time into the child, rather focusing on their depression. Birth defects can happen due to genes malfunctioning or even when there are problems with a chromosome (Berk, 2018). So, it is impossible to say that a pregnant mother can avoid birth defects by not taking antidepressants. • 28. Corporate Competition, Monopoly, And Monopoly A firm, an organization which employs resources in order to provide a product or service at a profit, can be grouped into one of four distinct market structures: perfect competition, monopolistic competition, oligopoly, and monopoly. Each market structure has its own unique characteristics. Once a firm is classified, one is able to understand how price and output are determined by a firm. Beval Saddlery, a firm established in May 1955 by Bev Walter, grew from a shop in a one car garage to a renowned organization in the equestrian world. Through analysis of the number of firms in the saddlery industry, the types of products produced by the firms, the ease of entry into the industry, and the control the individual firms have over the sale price of products, the industry in which Beval Saddlery operates can be categorized as a monopolistic competition. To begin with, a monopolistic competition is one of the four major market models. A monopolistic competition is an industry made up of many producers. The producers in a monopolistic competition provide differentiated products. Product differentiation includes varied physical characteristics of products, customer service, and or locational convenience. Differentiation allows firms to be prominent in the industry. Since goods and or services are differentiated, there is a considerable amount of emphasis on non price competition, advertising. • 29. Reflection On PARCC Test The testing process was a general meeting with the staff who are qualified to administer the PARCC exam. The principal ran through a state provided PowerPoint and provided the schedule that works well for the school. The principal explained the security measures as well as who to contact in case of emergencies or problems. There was also another meeting for the staff that could not attend the original. All staff members who were involved with PARCC testing had to sign a paper acknowledging that they attended the training. I was able to work with the secretary and principal to coordinate testing times. I also served as a test administrator and shadowed the principal. In regards to the NJ ASK, there were multiple security components that had to be in order. First off, the tests had to be checked in by two people; the principal and the counselor who is also in charge of testing. The boxes of tests are then delivered to the testing closet where they are counted and checked in their designated area. This closet is locked all the time and only the principal has keys to it. The teachers were responsible to come to the testing closet to collect their materials. The principal was responsible to make sure that staff members sign out their bins and that all their materials are in the bin. Reflection As I reflect on state standardized test, I realize that budgeting extra time is always necessary. While all PARCC tests have enough time, there was a day where one 8th grade class started late and had technology issues. This caused a delay in lunches being served to the students. There was also another issue with the technology in general. Many computers did not load the tests as there was a JAVA update that needed to take place. There was also the issue with having the tests spread out over 7 days and the whole school testing window over a month. The vision is to have the students test on mine net books and I pads. While many schools do go that approach, I find that we would have to teach our students how to use these tools first prior to the test. This would take always instructional time. While we have ample computer labs to accommodate 6 classes at one time, it would cause a hardship on the schedule. I would prefer to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Early Greek philosophers examined, theorized human traits and their actions; their studies are now to be considered and known as psychology. Mankind has molded psychology throughout decades into what it is today the study of the human mind and the way it affects one s behavior. Desperate for help, Bob feels he cannot manage four weeks without his new therapist and decides to crash his therapist s vacation. The movie depicts many different ethical dilemmas throughout the movie such as dual relationships, boundaries, and standard of care. Dual Relationships Dr. Leo Marvin, because of the family s fondness of Bob and his own personal desire for his family members to like and admire him, he repeatedly continues to let Bob spend time with him and his family. Dr. Marvin should have been more straightforward with his family about the importance of being overly friendly to a patient and the implications that could follow. Boundaries In the beginning, Dr. Leo Marvin tries to set clear boundaries with Bob in a calm manner, but it does not work. In observing the conversations between Bob and Dr. Leo Marvin, it seemed like the therapist was in too much of a rush to start his vacation and not enough time to really set up Bob to feel prepared with a plan for his month departure. The story said that They wrapped him in cotton, and warmed him over a little fire. (Kipling 143). Although the movie was close it showed Rikki in the cotton but he wasn t placed over a small fire. In the movie right before bed Teddy was taking a bath Rikki was climbing on the side of it and fell into the tub. This is a similarity of both the story and the movie. One difference is written in the story that Rikki nearly drowned himself in the bathtub, put his nose into ink on a writing table, and burnt it on the end of the big man s cigar. (Kipling 144). For Karl Marx, the changes in religion ultimately reflect the changes happening in society, because the religious world is just a reflection of the real world. If this is the case here, the use of technology in a religious setting would make sense, as our technological world is ever expanding and will further benefit the people at the top of religious hierarchies. In terms of online for profit churches, Marx might argue that the market is driving the religious realm to cater to technological advances. Therefore, Durkheim would also argue that religion is mirrored after society, meaning that as society evolves specifically in the technological realm religious practices will follow suit. This will occur because religious representations are collective representations which express collective realities , meaning Durkheim would probably think that online churches are meant to appeal to modern ideals (McIntosh, 1997). As Durkheim states in Religion and Society, the rites are a manner of acting, which take rise in the midst of the assembled groups which are destined to excite, maintain or recreate certain mental states... , he further establishes that religious groups will do what is necessary to conform to what is happening in society in order to stay relevant (McIntosh, 1997). Durkheim would probably argue in favor of these online for profit church practices because it brings a sense of unity to modern society, and acts as a way to revitalize the conscience collective, and churches provide a society whose members are united by the fact that they think in the same way in regard to the sacred world (McIntosh, 1997). In the 18th century, England was plagued by the gruesome repercussions of the industrial revolution. One such repercussion was the child labor of the time, where young boys at the ages of five and six were for forced to work in harsh conditions, either sweeping chimneys or working in factories. William Blake used his romantic style of writing to commentate on these ever growing corruptions of the world. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The major idea he uses is that of Heaven and religion. In Songs of Innocence, Blake describes an angel who appears to a boy in a dream. The angel releases the boys from the black coffins and lets them free into a green plain with the sun high above and says that if he is a good boy he will never want because god will look after them. Blake makes a strong connection to the idea of Heaven. If you are good in life you will be with God and want for nothing in Heaven. This angel brings them salvation from the harsh world from out of a coffin, playing on the idea of death. Religion is also used in Songs of Experience though it is used more negatively. In the poem, the boy describes that his parents have, gone up to church to pray (SoE). This could represent the literal form of church or it could mean they have gone to the big church in the sky meaning heaven and have died, leaving the boy to fend for himself. However, the parents seem to have chosen the job for the boy and go to church and think nothing of their child. Heaven is also used generally by saying that this makes up a heaven of the boys unhappiness, meaning a huge, unconceivable amount (SoE). It is used paradoxically to the praising of the Priest and King, meaning the Church and state, by the parents. Religion is used as salvation in Songs of Innocence and negatively Songs of Experience.
