- The first picture of the magazine FourFourTwo stands out to the target audience by
presenting an up to date football player that was popular at the time. This draws the
eyes of the target audience and encourages them to purchase it. The title being in
red appeals to the target audience as it shows strength and masculinity which
appeals to the target audience of males. This also features a strong male figure in
the middle of the magazine to draw the viewer in to relate to the person. The yellow
colour over the text on the sides also catches the eyes of the viewer and draws them
to the other articles inside the magazine. The white background behind the player
makes the figure stand out as they contrast colours with their clothes and the
background
- The double page spread features dark colours in the background which contrasts
with the boxes that feature the text which causes the audience/viewer to read the
information as they stand out from the background. The huge text that quotes ‘the
top 51 football league players’ takes up one page, this draws the readers eyes in to
the main focus of the page.
- The target audience for this magazine would be the working class teens to mid 30s
males. Football is mainly a working class sport and this magazine is based on football
which will obviously appeal to this class of people. Football is a male dominated
sport and this magazine focuses on the male side of football and this will attract the
male audience.

- The F1 magazine already catches the eyes of the audience with the cover featuring a
up to date driver which takes up the whole front cover. The driver has its hand out
with a title in his hand which catches the readers eyes and causes them to readers
eyes, the title being on the drivers hand guides the viewers eyes around the page
from the drivers face to his hand with the title on it. This front cover also involves the
yellow boxes over the text that the other one featured which grabs the viewers
attention and draws their eyes to the text. The title within a red bubble also grabs the
readers attention as the red contrasts from the light background.
- The double page spread features a image that covers both pages which causes the
readers eyes to follow the image towards the text on the right hand side. The right
hand side features a lot of text in a small and formal font, this will appeal to an older
audience as an older audience mostly likes long bits of information.
- The target audience for this magazine would be mid 20 to mid 30 males as the sport
of f1 has an older audience, and this magazine is based on the sport of f1. The
magazine has chunks of long information throughout and the cover includes a simple
layout that would appeal to that audience. The simple and calm colours also appeal
to that audience as it shows the magazine as being smart and sophisticated.

- The features of the magazine cover appeal to the target audience well as the colours
are plain and the contrast with the eye catching features. The main focus of this
magazine are the cars and they are the main focus of the front cover as the cars are
bright and eye catching colours that contrast with the background of white and grey
colours. The text is yellow which also contrasts with the background, this is to catch
the viewers eye to read the product that is the main focus of the magazine. The
yellow text is the title of each headline and encourages the reader to read every
headline as they have eye catching colours.
- The double page spread has one image that covers both pages, on the right of the
double page spread it has a little text box in white that contrasts to the background,
the bold text of the title take up the whole left hand page and catches the readers
attention immediately. The page includes lot of information in a little amount of
space, this appeals to the target audience as they are attracted to lots of information
rather than lots of pictures.
- The target audience for this magazine would be mid 20 to mid 30 men. The calm and
plain colours appeal to this target audience as they are drawn toward these colours,
the magazine also includes lots of information which also appeals to this target
audience as they look for information over lots of pictures. Also this is the target
audience as cars are associated with males and within this age range.

  • 3. Existing Product - The first picture of the magazine FourFourTwo stands out to the target audience by presenting an up to date football player that was popular at the time. This draws the eyes of the target audience and encourages them to purchase it. The title being in red appeals to the target audience as it shows strength and masculinity which appeals to the target audience of males. This also features a strong male figure in the middle of the magazine to draw the viewer in to relate to the person. The yellow colour over the text on the sides also catches the eyes of the viewer and draws them to the other articles inside the magazine. The white background behind the player makes the figure stand out as they contrast colours with their clothes and the background - The double page spread features dark colours in the background which contrasts with the boxes that feature the text which causes the audience/viewer to read the information as they stand out from the background. The huge text that quotes ‘the top 51 football league players’ takes up one page, this draws the readers eyes in to the main focus of the page. - The target audience for this magazine would be the working class teens to mid 30s males. Football is mainly a working class sport and this magazine is based on football which will obviously appeal to this class of people. Football is a male dominated sport and this magazine focuses on the male side of football and this will attract the male audience.

  • 5. Existing Product - The F1 magazine already catches the eyes of the audience with the cover featuring a up to date driver which takes up the whole front cover. The driver has its hand out with a title in his hand which catches the readers eyes and causes them to readers eyes, the title being on the drivers hand guides the viewers eyes around the page from the drivers face to his hand with the title on it. This front cover also involves the yellow boxes over the text that the other one featured which grabs the viewers attention and draws their eyes to the text. The title within a red bubble also grabs the readers attention as the red contrasts from the light background. - The double page spread features a image that covers both pages which causes the readers eyes to follow the image towards the text on the right hand side. The right hand side features a lot of text in a small and formal font, this will appeal to an older audience as an older audience mostly likes long bits of information. - The target audience for this magazine would be mid 20 to mid 30 males as the sport of f1 has an older audience, and this magazine is based on the sport of f1. The magazine has chunks of long information throughout and the cover includes a simple layout that would appeal to that audience. The simple and calm colours also appeal to that audience as it shows the magazine as being smart and sophisticated.

  • 7. Existing Product - The features of the magazine cover appeal to the target audience well as the colours are plain and the contrast with the eye catching features. The main focus of this magazine are the cars and they are the main focus of the front cover as the cars are bright and eye catching colours that contrast with the background of white and grey colours. The text is yellow which also contrasts with the background, this is to catch the viewers eye to read the product that is the main focus of the magazine. The yellow text is the title of each headline and encourages the reader to read every headline as they have eye catching colours. - The double page spread has one image that covers both pages, on the right of the double page spread it has a little text box in white that contrasts to the background, the bold text of the title take up the whole left hand page and catches the readers attention immediately. The page includes lot of information in a little amount of space, this appeals to the target audience as they are attracted to lots of information rather than lots of pictures. - The target audience for this magazine would be mid 20 to mid 30 men. The calm and plain colours appeal to this target audience as they are drawn toward these colours, the magazine also includes lots of information which also appeals to this target audience as they look for information over lots of pictures. Also this is the target audience as cars are associated with males and within this age range.
