Example of a contents page from a music magazine (TOTP) Main Headline- Pink background and the font is almost like it has been written so gives a very personal effect for the reader Main Image- Although it does not use up the majority of the cover, this could be seen as the main image as it is the biggest one on the page. Page Numbers- These are in a bold font and are written in pink to highlight the importance of them. Rule of Thirds- Th e page is split clearly into three equal sections Informal speech is used so that the reader feels relaxed and it relates to the target audience The copy is split into different sections under headings so that it is easy for the reader to find what they want to read straight away. Different font sizes and colours used- effect way of Separating out the text from the headlines. It also makes the page look more colourful and appealing for the reader. “ On the cover”- The front cover of the magazine has been put onto the contents page with labels coming off it.
