PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a best practice project management methodology recognized by the UK government. It focuses on dividing projects into manageable stages, with an emphasis on business justification, organization, and controls. Key techniques include product-based planning, quality reviews, change control, and configuration management. While less comprehensive than PMBOK, PRINCE2 provides a prescriptive process structure and can complement PMBOK by helping structure a project methodology and implement techniques like organization and change control. Understanding both PMBOK and PRINCE2 can provide project managers with a comprehensive skillset.
Project Management is a well defined concept found in many guidebooks and Bodies of Knowledge. Putting these guides and BOK’s to work for the benefit of the enterprise is the role of Project Governance

How to Create a Great Customer Experience
A key activity in the ITIL 4 service value chain is 'engage'. One reason why this activity is particularly important is that it represents the start of the customer journey. The most successful organizations understand and master the customer journey; often by walking in their customers’ shoes and experiencing the end-to-end journey for themselves.
In this session, Donna Knapp introduces concepts from the new ITIL® 4: Drive Stakeholder Value publication including ways to optimize the customer journey and create a great customer experience.

Structured Approach to Solution ArchitectureAlan McSweeney
The role of solution architecture is to identify answer to a business problem and set of solution options and their components. There will be many potential solutions to a problem with varying degrees of suitability to the underlying business need. Solution options are derived from a combination of Solution Architecture Dimensions/Views which describe characteristics, features, qualities, requirements and Solution Design Factors, Limitations And Boundaries which delineate limitations. Use of structured approach can assist with solution design to create consistency. The TOGAF approach to enterprise architecture can be adapted to perform some of the analysis and design for elements of Solution Architecture Dimensions/Views.
In Europe and the rest of the world, including Canada, PRINCE2 is the project management methodology of choice. Enterprise Architecture Governance: A Framework for Successful BusinessNathaniel Palmer
Enterprise Architectures play an important role supporting business transformation initiatives. Enterprise Architecture Governance (EAG) provides a structure for defining relevant strategies and compliance processes. This Level 3 Communications case study presents a detailed framework composed of three essential components of EAG:
1) Organizational Accountability must be clearly defi ned for all EAG aspects, and executive sponsorship is essential. Level 3 formed an executive steering committee with broad representation, preventing EAG from becoming an IT-only initiative.
2) Strategy Defi nition provides the roadmap for business transformation initiatives. Architectural guiding principles defi ne values and offer input into strategies, end states define where the company is going, and roadmaps document how to get there from.
3) Compliance Processes ensure that development initiatives are in alignment with the strategic direction. Level 3 has created a framework that gives each development initiative an architecture rating that indicates its compliance level.

PRINCE2 Foundation Training Manual by Frank TurleyFrank Turley
Written by Frank Turley - The PRINCE2 Coach : Twitter @PRINCE2_Coach
- Contact me if you have any questions studying PRINCE2
The main objective of this book is to provide an easy to read and understand PRINCE2® manual to help you understand PRINCE2 and pass the PRINCE2 exam. ·. This is the only PRINCE2 Training Manual or book that is focused on the Foundation syllabus and therefore the only book you need to refer to learn PRINCE2 & pass the Foundation exam.·
The official PRINCE2 Manual for the Project Manager is an excellent reference manual but can be rather difficult to pick up and read if you are new to project management or PRINCE2. This is why this book has already become the #1 book for people who are preparing for the PRINCE2 Foundation Exam.
How is our Training Manual different from the official PRINCE2 manual?·
It is a training manual while the OGC manual is a reference manual·
It provides lots of examples of Management Products (easier to understand)
It is 100% focused on the PRINCE2 Foundation syllabus and Exam·
It use examples to·help explain new PRINCE2 terms (easy to understand)·
It is written like a training manual and therefore very easy to read·
It provides an overview of the type of questions to expect (chapter by chapter)
It is available in PDF format making it easy to search and find what you need.·

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
