This presentation summarizes the construction of a highway bridge over the Sali River in Bankura District, West Bengal. The 172.24 meter long and 12 meter wide bridge has a carriageway of 7.5 meters and is supported by pile foundations and RCC girders. It consists of 2 abutments and 6 piers founded on 112 piles. Safety aspects of the project are highlighted. The presenters acknowledge the guidance provided by the site engineer and team from MACKINTOSH BURN LTD., who are supervising the construction of the bridge.
