Ideas
Vinyl records are becoming a huge factor in
music again as more and more artists are
releasing their music on vinyl format. Therefore,
we would like to use a vinyl on our record
company logo as it not only reflects the indie
genre but it also shows the new evolution of
music.
The editing process
We are using the program, Photoshop, to create our logo.
We found this transparent image of a vinyl disk
on Google images. We decided not to include
the full vinyl in the logo. The record company
name will be displayed in the centre of the vinyl
as it gives the effect of an album name and
artist name on the disk.
We have chosen the font ‘Riesling’ from
DaFont.com because it has a vintage yet retro
aesthetic.
