 The eTextbook should have a clear layout and
hyperlinked references to help the students navigate
easily and not get distracted by unnecessary content.
INTERACTIVE AND CONTEXTUALIZED
ACTIVITIES
 The eTextbook should have interactive and
contextualized activities.
 Activities need to be interactive to facilitate learning,
promote thinking and overall engage the student.
 Activities need to be contextualized because learners
tend to memorize new things easier if they have an
image of a particular situation related to their lives where
they can apply the new knowledge. It will also give them
motivation and a clear purpose of learning.
PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AUDIO AND VIRTUAL REALIA
 Multimedia and virtual realia have the potential to
engage the student, put the new information in a context
and give them an opportunity to practice using what they
have learned in a safe environment.
