What is the Signifigance of the Candidacy of Donald Trump? The election of 2016
has seen rise to a number of strong, semi radical opinions and ridiculous jokes
(mostly created and spreaded online). These jokes range from the accusation that Ted
Cruz is the zodiac killer (Dean) to Hillary Clinton s pneumonia (Denisova). But
perhaps the scariest thing to spring from this election is the Republican Donald Trump
. A candidate who the press refused to take seriously in the early days of his
campaign who has become the Republican s nominee for President of the United
States. But the most fascinating aspect of this nomination is the question of how
Trump, when the majority of Republican party leaders oppose him, managed to
secure his place on the ticket. Further, it brings into question how bigotry in today
s society parallels that of the anti integration movement in the 1960 s. Over time
the way a Presidential campaign is run has evolved and changed, and who has the
power in a race has shifted. Beginning in 1960, public image was taken to a whole

Tea Party. A turbulent storm occurs and incites an eerie mood within the

literary devices, such as imagery, personification, and anaphora, to foretell the
French Revolution and set the mood of the passage. The use of suspenseful

of the chapter, Dickens compares people to the storm by showing a crowd of
people with its rush and roar, bearing down upon them too (109). The Third Estate

has held an important position in every human culture since time immemorial. Of
course, this position has is different from culture to culture, and shifts over time. This
is particularly evident in western culture. The shift is discussed at length in two
essays: Behind the Formaldehyde Curtain by Jessica Mitford, and The Fear of Dying
by Elisabeth KГјbler Ross. Both explore different aspects of these themes Mitford s
essay being deconstruction of a the uniquely North American process of embalming,
and KГјbler Ross being an indictment of the clinical depersonalization of
contemporary western attitudes toward death. Each utilize many different tools as
writers, such as rhetorical modes. Rhetorical modes they share are exemplification,
description, and compare and contrast.
Exemplification is rhetorical mode in which a writer will illustrate their point by
providing multiple pieces of evidence that support their thesis. KГјbler Ross opening
paragraph is written entirely in the exemplification rhetorical mode. She lists the
ways many ancient cultures treat corpses: they re bad; something to be feared.
Hebrews regarded dead bodies as unclean; Native Americans shot arrows into the air

their male counterparts. Most women inmates live in the same conditions as men
inmates do, yet women inmates face issues that are far more different than male
inmates. The purpose of this paper is to point out some of the issues women inmates
face in their everyday life in prison, and offer suggestions as to improve those issues.

Ensuring there are programs geared towards rehabilitating and healing rather than
throwing the key away will improve the overall success of lowering incarcerated
numbers and better enhancement reentry outcomes. Another recommendation for
improvement in addition to improving living conditions for females in prison
would be prison nursery programs. (Women s Prison Association, 2009) points out
there are nine states currently participating in open prison nursery programs. There
has also been discussion of allowing women who give birth to serve their prison
sentence in a none prison setting. I think allowing women to serve prison
sentences with small children in a non prison environment would improve the
mental conditions of many women who are in prison. There can also be a work
for system for women with children to work towards serving their time in a half
way house with their children instead of spending their whole sentence alone. I
think this will help with the mental side of not just mothers but children as well
who need such nurturing. Granted not all recommendations are going to be met
with cheers or thumbs up. As I said there are going to be naysayers who disapprove
of such rash changes. I have to admit I use to be one of those people until I started
reading more into what causes women to commit crimes and what happens to
