different than people around them. This is a universal idea, and is present in the
novels of Age of Innocence, where we are introduced to the glamorous lifestyle of

Having read Lolita before this one, I was in a divided mind whether to bring the

The reason why Sonnet 130 is a part of the literary cannon is because the Sonnets
introduce a very strict system needed to follow to even be considered a sonnet. All of
Williams Shakespeare s pieces are incredible but the Sonnets are special. All the
Sonnets have to follow a strict set of rules this includes being fourteen line long
and follow an ABABCDCDEFEFGG rhyme system. The creation of one of these
Sonnets would be a challenge however Shakespeare developed 154 of them and so
there are 2156 lines. This just goes to show the commitment and creativity of
William Shakespeare. Each Sonnet also has a Problem or Issue for the first eight
stanzas then Opinion on the Problem for stanza nine to twelve and finally a
Resolution for the last two stanzas. The Problem or Issue is that this Mistress is

The American Dream has been the subject of countless American novels since it
first was concepted. Though the specifics have evolved over time, and it is unique
to each person, the general idea has stayed the same: become rich, retire early, own
a large home and high quality items. In the book, An American Tragedy, main
character Clyde Griffiths is one of many who pine for the American dream, wanting
. . . the fine clothes, the handsome homes, the watches, rings, pins that someboys
sported . . . (Dreiser 19) and a high class social status not to mention the benefits
that coincide with being high class.. However, regardless of how much Griffiths
dreamed his dream, he was never to achieve it. Throughout An American Tragedy,
the sentiment that Clyde Griffiths was not meant to live the American Dream
echoed numerous times in how he was raised, the era in which the novel is set, and
the unique personality which clearly defined his character. A huge factor which
determined the plot of the book was the method by which Griffiths was raised. In
the first five chapters of An American Tragedy, Clyde s home life is portrayed.
Griffiths was a young boy who was born into a low class family, and whose life
centered on Evangelical teaching. Growing up, his parents constantly barraged him
with their strong religious beliefs, and enforced their morals with great force and

Stars are made from an interstellar gas cloud. It was believed that in the process of
forming a star, the cloud released material onto the interstellar disk in which the stars
gradually accumulated it. However, because some stars seemed to have a drastic
increase of brightness in a short amount of time, this idea had to be reconsidered. The
stars that went through this process seemed to maintain their high luminosity for
about 100 years. Astrophysicist Eduard Vorobyov suggested the idea that the material
surrounding a forming star fragments off into clumps and is consumed by the star in
a process that he describes as cannibalism on astronomical scales. Because these
clumps are large, they release a large amount of energy when consumed ... Show

As is known, many stars in our universe are binary star systems; binary star systems
allow for the pair of stars to exchange mass and gravitationally affect one another.
Because Wolf Rayet stars are usually in binary systems, astronomers hypothesize
that the star is growing because it is exchanging mass with the other star
essentially, it is gradually consuming the other star. Since the Wolf Rayet star is
surrounded by a large disk, it is possible that the Wolf Rayet is forming a nebula (a
disk) where star formation may occur, (5). The forming star now undergoes its own
process of, as Voyobyov puts it, cannibalism on astronomical scales, (4). As observed
with hydrodynamic simulations, ...gravitationally unstable disks can exhibit FU
Orionis type outbursts when fragments are driven onto the protostar..., (2). In other
words, more mass added to the disk that surrounds a forming star would make the
disk unstable and cause fragmenting to occur. Hence, the fragments will most likely
interact with the forming star causing these outbursts of energy (3). The outbursts of
energy are caused by both of the reasons stated previously. According to
astronomers, the one idea that has been ruled out, however, is that these stars are
