allows us to connect with others. Without communication skills, we would not be
able to form relationships, whether in our personal or professional lives. We, as a
society, tend to think that communication is only verbal. However, communication
includes nonverbal, written, even listening, as well as our body language. In fact,
over 70% of our communication is nonverbal. In this class I hope to improve on my
interpersonal communication by learning ways to overcome my fear and setting new
standards in the way I communicate with others. In my personal life, improper
communication has led to more than one situation that caused hurt to someone I love.

Currently, if I were to rank my comfortability in speaking in front of the class, I

speaking. Being an extroverted personality often leads people to believe I would
have no problem speaking in public, but when the spotlight is on, it is an entirely

take. Sapsford et al. (1993) claim that at the simplest level of analysis, wages,

She wanted to become a prostitute, but her therapist created this alternate solution
(Margulies). She was described as a confessionalist poet; These poets tend to write a
lot more in detail about their life (Ruby). In the 1960 s, this was a new concept that
many people were against, so she faced a lot of bad reviews and criticisms.
Sexton grew up in Boston, Massachusetts with her dysfunctional parents, great aunt,

entirely unacceptable lack of laws. (Huffington Post) Both articles say, for various
reasons, that there should be more laws on exotic animals. In both articles the authors

to decide the destiny of the knight. Which is an ideal situation to Wife of Bath, a
woman have power over a man. The second powered figure appeared in the middle
of the story, an old woman which seem like full of knowledge and power. In the
text Give me your hand... the answer before night. At that time the old woman is
the only one who can save the knight. To save himself, the knight can only listen
and obey what she said. Again, the knight s life is on a woman s hand. At the end
of the story, the old woman gave two choices to the knight after they married. In
the text You have two choices...The choices are all your own. This time the knight
has given two choices, to have an ugly but loyal wife or a beautiful but always
cuckold. The knight can t pick any of those; he gave the ultimate choice to the old
woman. The old woman granted all he wanted a beautiful and loyal wife. This
