Treaties were first created or signed on September 17, 1778 in Fort Pitt present day Pittsburgh. Over
500 or more treaties were established for land and various other reasons, but 500 were also broken,
changed or for the government interests. Many treaties had a big meaning to the Native American
people, but would soon find out it was just a temporary type of treaties. As far as treaties go, it came
with fighting and many consequences along with not doing what the government wanted them to do.
Although the government promised the Native American people their land and to be safe and secured,

Michael Hall Is A Good Role Model
During my four years at Salina Central High School, I ve been involved in the football team. Michael
Hall, my head coach, father figure, and role model has taught me many many things in such special
ways in my eyes. When someone joins the program, Coach Hall s motive is not only to make us great
football players but even better people in life and in my case, he s done a phenomenal job which I m
so extremely grateful for. He taught me how to always have hope, courage, and mercy when it s
necessary. As a defensive end for the team has always required me to have courage however I haven t
always had it. My freshmen and sophomore year were very difficult for me because I wasn t the
