In what ways does your media product
      use, develop or challenge
forms and conventions of real media
              products?
The performances that my characters used I found
worked well with the mood and the pace of the music
making it link better to the video as a whole. The pace
of the dance made it more believable towards the
audience as it is in pace and timing with the music
making it easier to relates it to the video.

The genre of the music is very upbeat, happy and
Energetic which is why I used colourful clothing on
My artist to represent the mood of the song and relate
It to the targeted audience and artist a well. For example
The props that I used where all bright vibrant and
colourful to again represent the song, artist and video
together.

I also attempted to use lighting to my advantage to as this
would help create a better mood for the music video. Which
Is one of the reason why I shot some of the footage outside
As the sunlight would assist with lighting of the video too.

The beat of the music also helps the mood and overall look
and feel of the video as it is a fast and energetic song to work
With which is why I chose the bright clothing, fast paced dancing
And amount of shots as this would enhance the impression
That I wanted to give to the video.
I used a specific colour scheme for the video as do most artists such as
Lady gaga Or Rihanna for example. Red, pink, orange and purple where the
main colours I used to express the overall look and feel of the music
video as, this would Target my audience better as I have used more
feminine colours to allow it to appeal more to them.

Not only did I use costume to express the overall behaviour of the video and
artist but, I used other items too such as the watch or some of the
accessories my artist uses. I found that using colours in this way allows me to
Represent my artist in the ways that I intend which is a very happy, bubbly,
upbeat and excitable person.

I used shots to make the video appeal and look more personal for the
targeted audience so that It would relate better for each individual as well as
The audience. I used some close-ups of the artist to make it seem more like
The artist was speaking to them making them feel connected to the artist
Which would in turn help them relate better too.

Some problems that I had with the filming was ensuring that all the personnel
that I needed where available for filming and also I found booking or organising
locations for filming where difficult such as booking the hall for my final filming
of the video. However, the biggest problem that I had was finding out that my
Original plans for another song went up in flames due to members quitting or not
Arriving to film which is why I scarped the first video that I started to produce.

Timing the video and editing it I found to be easy in some parts such as editing the
Performance parts as I didn’t have to time it directly to the video and lyrics of the song.
However when timing the lip sinking it presented challenging as some parts where only
A second or not even that out making it harder to adjust.
