This document outlines a teacher's lesson plan to teach 8th grade students about triangles over the course of a week. The plan is to use various technologies like videos, podcasts, blogs and online activities to teach students how to classify triangles by angles and sides, find the perimeter and area of triangles, with an accuracy goal of 85%. Each day focuses on a different triangle concept, and technologies like YouTube, blogs and online worksheets will be utilized.

•My 8th grade class consists of 20 students.
There are 11 girls and 9 boys.
•Three have ADD
•One is handicapped

3. MAIN OBJECTIVE
By the end of the week my
students will be able to classify
a triangle by angles and sides,
find the perimeter of a triangle,
and find the area of a triangle by
watching videos, making
posters, creating blogs, and
listening to podcasts with 85%
accuracy.

4. DAY BY DAY
•Monday- My students will use videos, posters, and blogs to
learn how to classify triangles by their angles.
•Tuesday- My students will learn how to classify triangles based
upon their sides by using videos, posters, Zello, and twitter.
•Wednesday- My students will learn how to find the area of a
triangle by watching a video, making a Voki, and listening to a
podcast.
•Thursday – My students will learn how to find the perimeter of
a triangle by looking at videos, group discussion, and a quiz.
•Friday- My students will use a Web Quest, make a blog, and
use the class twitter page for me to see examine their progress.
