The Pros And Blessings Of The Kingdom Of God
wonderful a blessing it is to have God speaking to us this way. I know angels in heaven are rejoicing
because the kingdom of God has come to earth. How happy they must be for us all. He took out a gold
coin from his vest pocket. God is fulfilling the promises He made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is
a God who provides for His chosen people and those brought into the fold. Do you see this gold coin?
God could multiply this coin as He can multiply His blessings to you. Let us sing praises to His name
and make a joyful noise unto the Lord. He retrieved a cornucopia behind the podium. The choir rose in
song, accompanied with organ music and tambourine. Lawrence walked off the end of the stage and
on the air, walking six feet above the floor. He stirred the assembly to utter amazement. Walking out
above their heads, he placed the coin in the basket and cradled the basket in his arms. Leaning it over,
a flow of coins fell into the laps of the people sitting below him. The coin multiplied before their eyes
and continued to shower down on the assembly who became ecstatic at trying to catch coins. He
walked the length of each row crisscrossing the assembly with the basket before him and allowing a
flow of gold to rain on them. Upon reaching the back row, he returned to the front with gold coins
overflowing and erupting from the cornucopia to confetti the people and floor below him. The coin
ceased to reproduce when he came to a stop and stood before them. He raised his arms in

Descriptive Essay About Disney World
On Monday Joy and her family arrived in Orlando, Florida, but they were not staying on the Disney
resort, but instead, they choose to stay at the Kissimmee Koa campground. While they all impatiently
waited to arrive at Disney World the next morning. The night before, Joy and all of her siblings
decided swimming and playing on the play grounds was the way to occupy their time.
Tuesday morning the family woke up at 8:00 a.m. and ate a quick breakfast prior to beginning their
short journey to the Disney World theme park. All of the children, including Joy were extremely
excited to arrive at Disney World because it would be their first time. They left the campground at
about 9:00 a.m. and arrived at Disney World at approximately 9:45 a.m. When the family arrived at
the theme park, it took them nearly 20 minutes to locate a parking space and enter the park. During the
entire drive to Disney World Joy thought it was all just a dream. But, upon arriving to the actual theme
park of Disney World, Joy realized her dream was really a reality and she shed tears of excitement.
Disney World is a magic kingdom full of people, buildings, song and dance, food like homemade
fudge, horse drawn street cars and horseless carriages, statues and Disney characters. Joys family
adventure began by entering through a tunnel just below a train station before they landed right in
front of cinderella s castle. Since the experience was nothing like what joy had even been through
before, she stood amazed as she viewed the castle she dreamed about living in, much like every other
girl. Six paths lead from several different angle around the castle spreading throughout the theme park.
One of the first attractions within Disney world that Joy and her family stopped at was the Swiss
Family Treehouse. The Swiss Family Treehouse was based on a 1960 s movie, Swiss Family
Robinson . The attraction is a large treehouse accessible for children and adults to climb and maneuver
through, but it is also the makeshift home of a shipwrecked family as portrayed in the movie. As Joy
entered the enormous treehouse she was lead to a narrow staircase that was the pathway to the dining
room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. The treehouse left Joy and her siblings

Running Head: FUTURE OF GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE
Future of Green Mountain Coffee

Future of Brewing When a small sign was hung on a little cafe in Waitsfield, Vermont in 1981, nobody
would have imagined that Green Mountain Coffee Roasters [GMCR] would become one of the world
s leading specialty coffee makers. Through hard work, Demand quickly grew beyond the walls of the
café, and many other local companies requested GMCR coffee to offer their customers (GMCR,
Company Overview, 2009, p. 1). Today, GMCR is recognized as a leader in the specialty coffee

By vertically integrating, GMCR will be able to reduce costs and move closer to the more for less

give positive satisfaction ratings for their Keurig Brewer (GMCR, Annual Report, 2009, p.10). This
rating of consumer satisfaction shows that GMCR s focus on convenience and consistency in their
marketing is very effective. GMCR has achieved this success by initially marketing its Keurig office
brewers to business and hotel targets. Since then, GMCR has created at home and travel Keurig
brewers at lower prices along with a new vending program that allows them to target commercial and
manufacturing environments (GMCR, Annual Report, 2009). With its transition into the growth stage,
GMCR has promoted its products primarily by expanding into new retail stores such as Walmart,
Target, Macy s, and Bed Bath Beyond; holding massive sampling events; and expanding its television
advertising to include QVC, ABC, CBS, NBC, and the Food Network (GMCR, Annual Report, 2009).
This intensive distribution will provide GMCR with the ability to reach new segments while supplying
the huge demand accompanying the growth stage. The past,

Government And The Government Of Bangladesh
Introduction:
Like many other countries of the world, Bangladesh government has also three organs; and the three
organs are the combination of the government of Bangladesh. These three organs are the executive,
the legislature and the judiciary.
In order to run government, the three organs or branches of government has some relationship with
one another. But the thinking matter of that if the three branches have very close relationship than
there create a disorder of the government and it may be harmful for our democracy. The government
by his only one hand doesn t keep a good concentration of all the branches, if the three branches has
separate power and separate in their all activities ;than they will do their all action more efficiency and
more effectively. When govt. is less people and confront in activities than the political freedom may
be established we think. So, the activities of government are scatter or decentralized by different
persons or department in order to perform more frequency; so that every department of government
has gained the freedom and no department can overlap their power to other department. In
Bangladeshi context, how much separation of power is established, I wish to work about this.
In Bangladesh, after the started of parliamentary government the principles of the separation of power
didn t effect .Because; the ministries were the members of legislature. The executive and the

Essay On Gender Inequality In The Caribbean
Critical Reading and Writing in Social Sciences: FOUN1013
Documented Essay
Worldwide, women are achieving higher representation and success. At the post secondary level
women are earning most of the degrees awarded. Where did our males disappear to? Gender
inequality is an extensive, complex and often vague concept. Simply it is defined as the ranking of a
particular gender, whether male or female, over the other and how they are treated based on their
gender. Gender inequality and the result of male underperformance in schools have become major
issues in the Caribbean, and affect the individuals involved and the society on a whole. Boys

Delinquent behaviours may also develop, such as crime when males find other ways of surviving in
providing for themselves and their families. Society, on the other hand, is economically affected by the
reduction in the workforce. Less people working in an economy, results in a decline in levels of
production. Unemployed persons may also put a strain on the countries resources. This is the current
state of Jamaica s economy. As society progresses and changes, the roles of males and females
continue to change. Historically, Caribbean men were known to take part in manual work or attend
schools, as academic excellence was seen as a male domain, while females did domestic work. Men
were also given better paying jobs, while females had to work twice as hard to be qualified for those
same jobs. In contemporary Caribbean society, the roles have interchanged and it appears that men are
lagging in education as well as in job placements. Due to the history of the socialisation of males, it is
evident in today s society that they are more likely to survive after not attending school than females,
whose only other option is domestic labour. This is so because males are hardened to find other ways
of making a living. (Chevannes, 1999) Figueroa (2004) identifies other minor factors which influence
male underperformance such as: the absence of motivational factors, a

It is a fact that nowadays the media industry has contributed incredibly to promote the ideas of today s
society. Even more has contributed to the effort to eliminate the taboo most of them sexual orientation
issues or homophobic issues through various campaigns. A very common combination for projecting
an issue through the media and with great appeal in the audience is the promotion and topic view from
famous celebrities that they have huge resonance to young people. It is also well known that the
projection of a subject in a provocative way has more impact because everything that causes shock to

Cooking Is Cooking Essay
Cooking is a necessity for everyone. Everyone in their life time needs to learn how to cook because
cooking makes food taste better. Without cooking, everyone would eat raw fruits, vegetables etc. I am
still learning how to cook but I consider it my hobby. Cooking is my hobby because I can spend time
with my family, it is fun and because of the Food Network Channel. I now a days rarely spend time
with my family. I am busy with homework, college applications and ACT/SAT tests. I have no time to
sit down a chat with my family. I love my family every much, but I could be better of spending my
time finishing all that I have to do to make time for my family. One of the few times I get to spend
with my family is by cooking. I usually help my mom cook lunch and dinner during the weekends and
cook with my dad on the weekdays. I am still a beginner. I can only the basic breakfast items like
eggs, pancakes etc. Whenever I help my parents out, I am always learning and I get to spend time with

gathered. After that, you follow the procedures on the recipe until you get a result. After the result, you
make a conclusion about adjusting that ingredient amounts and temperature etc. Cooking opens up a
possibility of anything to happen. I can make something really good that I didn t expect to make, or I
can make something bad that it causes some people to go to the hospital. I hope I don t hurt people
with my cooking; I am not a professional, but I am decent. Cooking is fun and entertaining on the rare

America s War on Terrorism
The world has been changed forever since the tragic attack on September 11, 2001. An observer
described the atrocity by saying, It just went bam, like a bomb went off. It was like holy hell (CNN 1).
The new world will be different from what any American has known before. A new war has arisen, not
against a foreign country or a major region of the world, but rather against a select group of people
who have the capabilities to destroy the lives of so many. The war against terrorism which the United
States is now forced to wage will not be an easily won battle. This war will not be fought solely on

It respects less developed nations independence. In this way, the superpower becomes somewhat
isolationist, because a superpower usually has the ability to be self reliant if needs be. Indeed, it
follows that if the superpower does in fact simply preside over itself, it will eventually become
isolationist. A major problem with this approach is that it may cause a superpower to consume its
resources, so then when it attempts to regain its authority over the rest of the world after being
isolationist for so long and now having limited resources, it is no longer an intimidating force, and
thus loses its superpower supremacy. The original empire of China was technologically superior to the
rest of the world at that time, but it was isolationist and eventually overtaken as the rest of the world

The second approach that a superpower may believe its responsibility to be is to aid those countries
that are less developed by inflicting their rule over such countries. Aiding countries can be achieved in
many ways. There can be simply financial aid. A superpower may also attempt to help improve the
economy of a nation by providing educational opportunities to those who desperately need them, as
well as bringing in economic resources to establish in the countries. Military aid to help in stopping

Meaning In Hermann Hesse s Siddhartha
Do people try to find a meaning through their everyday lives by being taught by someone, or do they
find it on their own? Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse wrote about a guy named Siddhartha who goes out
on his own on a quest to learn about the meaning of life. He, Siddhartha goes on this quest running
through many obstacles trying to reach his goal. Hesse suggests that people can t always find meaning
through teachers but they have to find it themselves, such as when Siddhartha tried to learn from the
Samanas, a group of men who are ascetics, and kamala a woman who teaches him to love.

Essay 1 Person Centred Therapy
Evaluate the claim that Person Centred Therapy offers the therapist all that he/she will need to treat
clients.
Introduction
In this essay I will look at the claim that Person Centred Therapy offers the therapist all that he/she
will need to treat clients. Firstly, I will outline what Person Centred therapy is and look at what its
originator, Carl Rogers , theories behind this approach are. I will then discuss some of the criticisms
that have been made about Person Centred Therapy, and weigh them up to evaluate the strengths and
weaknesses of this therapeutic approach. In the conclusion I will reflect on my learning, and on my
own experiences and opinions.
What is Person Centred Therapy
Person Centred Therapy is a humanistic approach to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This complete acceptance, without judgement and criticism, is important for a client to start to value
and accept themselves. In order for a therapist to be able to show unconditional positive regard, they
need to know, accept and value themselves and be in touch with their own values and morals. I think
that the more a therapist is accepting of who they are themselves, the better they will be able to accept
and respect their clients.
Congruence
Congruence can be explained as genuineness, being honest or real with the client. Congruence is the
state of being of the counsellor when her outward responses to her client consistently match the inner
feelings and sensations which she has in relation to the client. (Mearns and Thorne, 1999, p84) The
client must perceive the therapist as being real, in order to develop trust. Again this requires a good
awareness and self knowledge of the therapist.
Criticisms on Person Centred Therapy
Rogers himself was aware of the criticism expressed about his theories by people who prefer other
therapeutic approaches. He describes in Chapter 5 in his book Client Centred Therapy, three questions
raised by other viewpoints . One of the questions from therapists with a psycho analytical orientation
is how a Person Centred therapist deals with transference , which is the repetition by the client

Muffins For Granny Summary
To begin with Anna Leah King s presentation to the class on her personal experience of her parents
attending residential schools makes it feel very real. As we go through school as aspiring educators we
learn a lot about the residential schools, truth and reconciliation, etc, because we need to be aware of
Canada s past and need to be able to lead the future as we are the ones transferring information into
young minds. Now Anna s story I found was very strong and truthful as she gave two different
experiences in these schools. She said her father was older and bigger when he attended the school so
things like physical abuse did not affect him as he just worked on carpentry the whole time. Where as
her mother s experience was very different because her ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Kings presentation we watched the movie Muffins for Granny . In this film it cover survivor stories
from many different people and covers the effects from the schools in their later ages. Before getting
into the stories of survivors, one thing I found interesting in this film was the transfers in between
people talking. There were always takeaways showing animals and land all things part of the First
Nations culture. I found this interesting because it is a documentary on the attempt of assimilation on
the First Nations culture but I feel by using this symbols of land and animals in takeaways it says how
the culture still is alive and strong. Moving onto the survivor stories, once again I found myself
hearing gruesome things and events that took place at these schools which made me feel awful. A new
learning I took from the stories was how much the schools affected these children once they grew up.
One the men attempted suicide and many others turned to alcohol for healing. These schools are a
lifetime of hurt and sadly cannot be forgotten in Canada s history. The importance of us future
educators learning about this kind of stuff makes us aware of our past and aware of the proper steps in

A Feminist Definition Of Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment is a delicate yet extremely controversial topic in the workplace and every day life.
Many women fall victim to sexual harassment yet fail to receive proper justice due to either being
unaware they were sexually harassed or that the burden of proof is unfairly put on them. Superson s
article, A Feminist Definition of Sexual Harassment was written to inform people that sexual
harassment that is directed at an individual, is actually an attack against all woman as a group. She
believes that even though the law is changing to the benefit of victims of sexual harassment, the fact
that sexual harassment it still so pervasive shows that there is too much tolerance of it (150). In her
opinion the common subjective definition of sexual ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These issues are minor, and the pros of ending sexual harassment certainly outweigh the few minor
concerns. The first issue being that because more behavior would be considered sexual harassment, it
would bring an impossible numbers of claims against offenders. This being true, more people could be
hired on to handle the growing number of claims. If an objective definition is taken seriously in legal
matters than, perpetrators will quickly discover that their actions will have serious consequences, and
will minimize if not stop their degrading behavior. Another issue with her definition that she discusses
is that, interpretation is still used when determining if behavior constitutes as sexual harassment. The
interpretation necessary when using an objective definition, includes assessing the offenders behavior
and whether or not it to be considered sexual harassment (did it occurr because woman are the inferior
group). This interpretation has a lot less wiggle room than when using a subjective definition, which
relies on the victims actions to determine whether something is considered sexual harassment. And we
know people react to situations

Personal Reflection On Attending West Orange High School

Personally, the right thing to do was go into a reading because I knew my comprehension was not at
its best. Eventually getting my schedule switched this reading was exactly what I thought it would, all
students doing whatever they want, and the teacher sitting the desk. Mrs. Marquez gave us
assignments from time to time, but they were graded for completion not correctness. Getting my work
grade for correctness allows me to figure out what I got wrong and how did I get it wrong, but she
never made the attempt to do that. There was also this program called reading plus which was
supposed to help up with our comprehension. Unfortunately, we didn t go to the computer lab often
and my teacher only had three computers in her room so the students alternated as to who got on.
Majority of the time the students would play on cool math games not taking their work seriously. This
became unfair to the students who actually wanted to make the effort to get out of the reading class.
The cycle lasted the whole year until the test came, some people passing and some failing. I was one

Effects Of Greed In Tao Te Chini
Across many texts, greed is a recurrent theme because its evil nature wreaks havoc in people s lives.
Further, greed causes many other sins such as lust, adultery, envy and theft. Acts such as these lead
people away from their moral compass and into a life of calamity and dissatisfaction. Greed is often a
well that is never filled and as humans are too weak to withstand their temptations, they go to great
lengths to try to quench their thirst. A compilation of Chinese poems titled Tao Te Ching written by
Laozi, illuminate how greed is a precipitate to things that go awry in life. As seen through the scope of
the Tao Te Ching, various events from the ancient Indian epic poem by Valmiki, The Ramayana, as
well as the Middle Eastern folk tales, The Thousand and One Nights, showcase characters that
struggle to cope with their greed. This paper will argue that greed is the source of all evil because it
blinds the sense of judgement and proportion leading people to take immoral actions. It will conclude
that redemption can only be found through self realization and selflessness.
The Tao Te Ching focuses on the effects of greed and how it compromises people s lives. There are
different types of greed such as materialism and lust. They are desires for property and the body which
neither of the two is good in excess. Laozi further explains what greed brings to life by stating, Free
from desire, you realize the mystery. Caught in desire, you are only the manifestations (Mitchell

Essay about The NRA Killed Gun Control Legislation
The NRA Killed Gun Control Legislation
By the year 2003, it is expected that firearms will cause the most injury related deaths in the United
States, surpassing even automobile accidents. Poll after poll have revealed that most Americans favor
stricter gun control laws. Five recent suburban school shootings have demonstrated that when guns
and kids mix, tragedy results. Yet gun control legislation remains at a standstill.
The battle for stricter gun control laws has not been without victories. In 1968, Congress passed the
Gun Control Act in the wake of the assassinations of Martin Luther King, Jr., President John F.

However, the thrill of the above victories could not prevent the agony of defeat that the country faced
between October 1997 and June 1998. There were five suburban school shootings in that time, in

Springfield, Oregon. This unspeakable violence left sixteen dead, including eleven children and
teenagers. The shooters ranged in age from 11 to 16 years old.
Although no one can explain the why of these tragedies, recent statistics give insight into the how : A
1990 Centers for Disease Control (CDC) survey found that one in twenty high school students had
carried a gun in the past month, while a 1994 Harris poll found that only one in five students would
tell a teacher if he or she knew that another student was bringing weapons to school. Where do these
kids get their guns? The Harris poll found that only 43% of parents of minors keep their guns safely
locked, which means that an estimated 1.2 million latchkey elementary school students can access the
guns kept in their houses. The consequences of the latter statistic were brutally obvious in Jonesboro,
when sixth grader Andrew Golden and eighth grader Mitchell Johnson opened fire on a crowd of
students with guns taken from a glass

Why Blu Ray Disc Is Better Than Its Counterparts
There was a time when the only place one can watch a movie was in a cinema. Then after a while, as
technology progressed, more means were evolved. There were video cassettes first, followed by CDs.
The reign of CDs lasted until the format DVD was carved out. Ultimately, this evolution resulted in
the pinnacle of entertainment: the Blu ray Disc. This research paper will look at the various reasons
behind the development of both the DVD,HD DVD and Blu ray Disc and will analyze why Blu ray
Disc is better than its counterparts.
First, let us take a look at the formation and development of DVD. DVD is essentially the acronym of
Digital Versatile Disc and was developed in 1995 by the joint cooperation of industry giants like Sony,
Phillips, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another association was subsequently formed for the promotion of this format, called the Blu ray Disc
Association. Now there were two front runners, Toshiba with their HD DVD and Sony with their Blu
ray Disc. The HD DVD had the advantage as it was less expensive than the Blu ray and had a lion s
share of released titles. But when Sony premiered the Blu ray Disc player in their Play Station 3, the
tides were turned. Effective marketing techniques shifted the market trend in the Blu ray favour until
2008, when Toshiba announced that it was pulling back the HD DVD format and that Blu ray Discs
were to become the standard of High Definition Audio and Video ( Toshiba Drops Out of the HD
DVD War , 2008). Many entertainment and multimedia distributors also pulled their support and from
there on, Blu ray Discs have been the industry standard.
HD DVD had one major benefit: the price. Its player cost about $400 less than the standard Blu ray
Disc player. This was a major driving factor in the adoption of this format by all the major movie
distributors as this meant a larger sale. Another major advantage was that the HD DVD player was
reverse compatible which meant that older DVDs and CDs could be played on it. As the format
became popular, it was incorporated in many laptops and PCs as standard. But it had some drawbacks
as well. First, a dual layer HD DVD could store only 30 GB worth of data whereas the Blu ray could
store as much

Native American Binary System
Gender is a complex socially constructed idea. Often people interchangeably use gender to refer to
someone s sex. This is not the case. Sex is the biological characteristics that makes someone a male,
female or intersex. Gender however is made up of expression, identity, and sexual orientation. Gender
identity is how one views themselves such as a woman, man or transgender. Gender identity does not
correspond to the sex of that person. Gender expression is how one expresses their gender identity.
This could be through a masculine , feminine or androgynous expression. In Western societies,
although there has been a push for change in our gender system, the gender system as been a binary
system. This binary system only believes that there are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Throughout many Native American societies there have been a variety of sex/gender systems. As
Europeans came over to the Americas, Native people lost their gender systems and were forced to
conform to the binary system. Violence was sometimes carried out on these people such as being put
to death by dogs. Europeans were shocked to find Native men perform the work of women, dress like
women and have sexual relations with men ( ). These native men were not understood and were
labeled berdache which meant male prostitute ( ). Even early anthropologist were not able to grasp the
concept of not having a binary system and ultimately associated these men with homosexuality,
transvestism, and hermorphaism ( ). The term two spirit was adopted in 1990 to get rid of the term
berdache. Two spirit was adopted to get rid of the binary negativity associated with berdache and
embrace the spiritual diversity of the Native people. Two spirit people have both a masculine and
feminine spirit. An example of this is the third gender of the Navajo called the nadleeh. The nadleeh
acts as a another gender in the Navajo s gender system. The nadleeh could be a male gender who takes
on women s roles such as language and work or a masculine female bodied ( ). Sexual relations with
nadleeh were not stigmatized as though they may share the same biological sex, they were a different

Growing Up To Christmas Research Paper
It is that time of year again Advent! Flocking to the stores to buy gifts; shopping with massive
discounts; eagerly awaiting break from school; it is all part of the Christmas experience. Should it be,
though? If you are of the Christian faith, the answer is absolutely not. Christmas is all about
celebrating the coming of Christ, and the time leading up to it Advent should be dedicated to preparing
our hearts for Him. If you really think about it, chalking Christmas up to gifts is one of the greatest
tragedy of our era. From the time God made a covenant with Isaac and the Israelites to the time of
Jesus birth, God spoke through prophets to foretell the coming of the Messiah who would save all of
humanity from its sins. Through this

Sigmund Freud In The Book, Ego And It s Discontents
Adam Stivers Sigmund Freud is one of the most well known philosophers, neurologist, and
psychologist of all time for many reasons. What Freud is mainly known for is his powerful thoughts
and beliefs on morality along with human personality. Through out the two books, The Ego and the ID
as well as Civilization and It s Discontents, both written by Freud, he uses the terms ID, ego, and
super ego quite often. The ID could be described as the structure in one s self that drives them to do
what they do. It is what controls what we as humans desire or want in life. Freud s main focus
throughout these two books is the super ego. According to Freud s beliefs, the super ego is an ego of
such perfection. Freud displays the super ego as something within

M.C. Escher Essay
M.C. Escher occupies a unique spot among the most popular artists of the past century. While his
contemporaries focused on breaking from traditional art and its emphasis on realism and beauty,
Escher found his muse in symmetry and infinity. His attachment to geometric forms made him one of
modernism s most recognizable artists and his work remains as relevant as ever.
Escher s early works are an odd mix of cubism and traditional woodcut. From these beginnings, one
could already note Escher s fondness for repetition and clean shapes. While simple and exploratory,
these works were the signs of a nascent art career.
Beginning in the mid 1930s, Escher s work turned very pointedly to the style we associate with him
today. Some of his most ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Something that recurs references itself. The reflection in a mirror of a mirror is recursive: the reflected
mirror is reflecting its own image and doing so indefinitely. You ve also likely seen the Droste effect
when using camcorders hooked up to a TV or a computer: when the camcorder is looking at the
screen, you can see an infinite series of screens generate themselves, since the camcorder is recording
the same image that it s sending to the screen. The game Portal is a great example of recursion, when
two portals could be opened side by side in a narrow space and looking in either one produced an
infinite series of the same image.
Escher combined recursion and pattern repetition in a unique way. Some of the works featuring this
combination exhibits some complex mathematical and physical ideas, but to the casual viewer the
works are sublime. The swans image above features this sort of combination. Note that the swans are
tiled very precisely, with the same distance from adjacent swans and swans in the next row. Note also
that they are in a closed loop, which is one construct made possible with recursion.
The above image is an example of the Mandelbrot set. The Mandelbrot set, along with other sets, is an
example of a fractal. Fractals are fundamentally based on the idea of infinite recursion. If you zoom in
to a particular spot in the fractal, you ll perhaps see a different arrangement of patterns, but you would

Compare And Contrast Bartleby And Frankenstein
Naturalism, a literary movement from the 1880s to 1930s, uses detailed realism to highlight the effect
of social conditions on human character. Elements of this genre of literature accentuate the work of
famous writers: such as Herman Melville and Stephen Crane. The authors literary works highlight the
lack of human compassion by exposing their protagonists to social dilemmas. In Herman Melville s
story, Bartleby , the author encapsulates the realities that underlie human responsibility to help others
in need. On the other hand, Stephen Crane s novel, The Monster, emphasizes the struggle of a man
rejected from society despite his kind actions. Moreover, the rhetorical similarities that capture the
essence of naturalism in both texts include ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To begin with, Bartleby is the protagonist of Melville s story and he was a scrivener, the strangest
[one] ever saw (3). He looks like a cadaverously gentleman (16), yet he wasn t ordinarily humane
(10). His physical appearance symbolizes the image of someone who exhibits emotional coldness and
inhuman remoteness. In other words, he is alive but dead on the inside. Furthermore, another central
symbol of the novel is the office. In this environment, restricted relationships among employees are
evident. Hence, Bartleby appears as a prisoner of his own thoughts. He chose to isolate himself,
despite having people around him. This demonstrates the lack of personal interactions in his work
environment. The narrator, the employer of Bartleby, cares about the protagonist because he doesn t
want to feel guilty. He mentions that befriend[ing] Bartleby will cost [him] little or nothing while at
the same time he can lay up in [his] soul what would prove a sweet morsel for [his] conscience (13).
Moreover, this symbol of the office captures the essence of egoism. The narrator acts kindly towards
Bartleby to soothe his conscience, not because a human being was mentally and physically in pain.
Bartleby, judged on his corpse like appearance and robotic actions, experienced apathetic responses
that demonstrate how those around him never attempted to genuinely help him. Consequently, the lack
of human compassion to help others demonstrates the inability to look consider the emotions of an

Sports development plan
I am proposing a 3 day handball camp which will be put in place to assist the growth of handball at
junior level within Nottinghamshire. The sport is growing and is deemed to be one of the best legacies
of London 2012 (BHA, 2011). However, there is still a large gap in the market for new and enhanced
programmes at junior level to assist the sport in becoming more popular (Gary Cruz, 2006). Since
becoming an Olympic sport in 1972, handball has been dominated by European countries, mainly due
to the restricted structures in position (Roberts et al, 2012). The 2 years following the Olympics is said
to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for the sport to grow and foster in England (Thomason, J. 2012).

and how many staff are needed. An advert in the local radio station promoting the camp will also be
aired in the mornings targeting parents and children on their way to school and work.

The purpose of this proposal is to target juniors at grass roots level, to increase their skills and
motivate them to carry on playing the sport within the Nottinghamshire area. On the success of the
proposal and in order to expand my project, more camps will be staged in each of the school holidays
and after school sessions can be put in place with additional funding from extended school services,
gradually increasing participation in Nottinghamshire. The extended after school sessions may also
provide opportunities for new and enthusiastic coaches to gain 1st4sport level 2 handball coaching
qualification from England Handball which is going to be introduced to the east midlands. Qualified
coaches will improve the standards of the sport and become the base of new junior clubs

correct in stating that the errors to which humanity is liable result not from wrong conclusion rather
when inadequately understood experiences are claimed, or when conclusions are drawn hastily and

Descartes` method of doubt is not blindly skepticism rather journey of discipline to arrive at
indubitable principles. In order to arrive at certainty meaning absolute foundation, he preferred to use
mathematics due to its clarity and certainty in contrast to sense experience. As a matchless quality that
is distributed to all humanity equally, reason may enable us to arrive at indubitable certainty as we
search for logical clear ideas. On the contrary, reliance on knowledge that comes from sense
experience may potentially lead to imperfect concepts. Therefore, Descartes` Method of Doubt that is
seeking for certainty by using reason which is a quality that can make perfection of humanity guards
men from inferring wrong judgment concerning truth and certainty. Locke`s approach of sense

Abstract Purpose: the main purpose of this study is to find out about the recalls of Toyota vehicles
which lead to the death of some innocent lives. The recall was due to unintended acceleration. Toyota
ultimately recalled millions of its cars for floor mat issues, brake problems and sticky gas pedals.
Methodology: Data was collected online, by the help of some selected search engines. Information
was collected from Toyota s national website as well as other private sites. Findings/results: Most

poorly designed floor mat Toyota began a massive recall last year worldwide to fix the problems that
were attributed to faulty accelerators, floor mats getting stuck in gas pedals and brake problems in
Prius hybrids. More than 8.5 million Toyota cars and trucks have been recalled. Drivers have
complained of cars careering out of control at 65mph while overtaking, and negotiating roundabouts
so fast that it felt like their car was on two wheels. A mechanical fault, caused by a combination of
wear and cold and wet weather, Toyota believes, means that the accelerator pedal sometimes sticks
down. Around 10,000 Toyota owners have so far contacted a hotline to air concerns.
Toyota was overwhelmed by massive product recalls and damage to its reputation after questions
over the safety of its cars and allegations that the company did not act quickly enough once problems
had been identified. The problem commenced when one duty police officer and his family back in
August 2009 after their car, a Toyota Lexus, unexpectedly accelerated, crashed into another vehicle,
tumbled over an embankment and burst into flames lead to the death of the man. Initial company
reports identified that the car may have been fitted with the wrong floor mats, which could have
slipped and entrapped the accelerator pedal. The problems began to increase for Toyota.

study published in The Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology, by Cory Armes, M.E suggests
hyperactivity may actually help students overcome their attention problems. Running, jumping and
even rolling around in class actually helps an ADHD student concentrate. Most ADHD students
become restless when they are asked to do a task involving the use of the executive functioning of the
brain. Research also shows when students with ADHD were asked to do a task which involved
working with memory and organization, students that were given permission to move or fidget
performed much better than students who were asked to be still. This study proves the ADHD student
s gross motor movements helps them finish intellectual tasks. In essence if a student with ADHD is
allowed to move around and fidget, they will be more successful in their work. What does this mean
to the average student and teacher? Studies have shown to help an ADHD student succeed, he or she
must be allowed to be hyperactive. How does one control this hyperactive behavior? A wobble chair,
an exercise ball as a seat and small fidget devices such as squishy balls, cubes, and spinners can be
used by ADHD students to keep them in their space and be less of a distraction for others in the class.

Disruptive behavior in the classroom
Over the years at work I have noticed that disruptive behavior of students is a big challenge and a

with minimum resources and support. Consequences of several national Gallup polls evidently

The Word Superiority Effect ( Wse )
Abstract
The word superiority effect (WSE), recognition of letters better in words than non words, has been
observed in normal adults, but is not observed in studies done with normal children. The supported
theory is that this is caused by the development of top down processing sometime during the children
s growth. A Reicher Wheeler task will be conducted on normal children in 5 different age groups as
well as adults. The expected results are to see an increasing WSE as the age of the children increases.
Key Words: Word Superiority Effect, Pseudoword Superiority Effect, Reicher Wheeler, Top Down
Processing, Children, Adults.
Top Down Processing Development:
Reicher Wheeler Task Results of Middle to Late Childhood Age Children
The word superiority effect (WSE) is the phenomenon that subjects are more likely to recognize a
letter accurately in a word (WINGS) than in a psuedoword, strings of letters that follow known
language rules and are pronounceable (WUNGS), a non word, strings of letters that do not follow
known language rules and are not pronounceable (WCHDS), or just in a mask (TXXXX) (Coch, 2010;
Grainger, 2003; Jordan, 1996). This is observed through The Reicher Wheeler Paradigm. In this test a
subject is shown a string of letters and asked to identify the letter in a specific location using a forced
choice task (Grainger, 2003; Hildebrandt, 1995; Jordan 1996). The effect has been observed in many
empirical studies, and has been seen in adults across

  • 3. The Pros And Blessings Of The Kingdom Of God wonderful a blessing it is to have God speaking to us this way. I know angels in heaven are rejoicing because the kingdom of God has come to earth. How happy they must be for us all. He took out a gold coin from his vest pocket. God is fulfilling the promises He made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is a God who provides for His chosen people and those brought into the fold. Do you see this gold coin? God could multiply this coin as He can multiply His blessings to you. Let us sing praises to His name and make a joyful noise unto the Lord. He retrieved a cornucopia behind the podium. The choir rose in song, accompanied with organ music and tambourine. Lawrence walked off the end of the stage and on the air, walking six feet above the floor. He stirred the assembly to utter amazement. Walking out above their heads, he placed the coin in the basket and cradled the basket in his arms. Leaning it over, a flow of coins fell into the laps of the people sitting below him. The coin multiplied before their eyes and continued to shower down on the assembly who became ecstatic at trying to catch coins. He walked the length of each row crisscrossing the assembly with the basket before him and allowing a flow of gold to rain on them. Upon reaching the back row, he returned to the front with gold coins overflowing and erupting from the cornucopia to confetti the people and floor below him. The coin ceased to reproduce when he came to a stop and stood before them. He raised his arms in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Descriptive Essay About Disney World On Monday Joy and her family arrived in Orlando, Florida, but they were not staying on the Disney resort, but instead, they choose to stay at the Kissimmee Koa campground. While they all impatiently waited to arrive at Disney World the next morning. The night before, Joy and all of her siblings decided swimming and playing on the play grounds was the way to occupy their time. Tuesday morning the family woke up at 8:00 a.m. and ate a quick breakfast prior to beginning their short journey to the Disney World theme park. All of the children, including Joy were extremely excited to arrive at Disney World because it would be their first time. They left the campground at about 9:00 a.m. and arrived at Disney World at approximately 9:45 a.m. When the family arrived at the theme park, it took them nearly 20 minutes to locate a parking space and enter the park. During the entire drive to Disney World Joy thought it was all just a dream. But, upon arriving to the actual theme park of Disney World, Joy realized her dream was really a reality and she shed tears of excitement. Disney World is a magic kingdom full of people, buildings, song and dance, food like homemade fudge, horse drawn street cars and horseless carriages, statues and Disney characters. Joys family adventure began by entering through a tunnel just below a train station before they landed right in front of cinderella s castle. Since the experience was nothing like what joy had even been through before, she stood amazed as she viewed the castle she dreamed about living in, much like every other girl. Six paths lead from several different angle around the castle spreading throughout the theme park. One of the first attractions within Disney world that Joy and her family stopped at was the Swiss Family Treehouse. The Swiss Family Treehouse was based on a 1960 s movie, Swiss Family Robinson . The attraction is a large treehouse accessible for children and adults to climb and maneuver through, but it is also the makeshift home of a shipwrecked family as portrayed in the movie. As Joy entered the enormous treehouse she was lead to a narrow staircase that was the pathway to the dining room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. The treehouse left Joy and her siblings ... Delinquent behaviours may also develop, such as crime when males find other ways of surviving in providing for themselves and their families. Society, on the other hand, is economically affected by the reduction in the workforce. Less people working in an economy, results in a decline in levels of production. Unemployed persons may also put a strain on the countries resources. This is the current state of Jamaica s economy. As society progresses and changes, the roles of males and females continue to change. Historically, Caribbean men were known to take part in manual work or attend schools, as academic excellence was seen as a male domain, while females did domestic work. Men were also given better paying jobs, while females had to work twice as hard to be qualified for those same jobs. In contemporary Caribbean society, the roles have interchanged and it appears that men are lagging in education as well as in job placements. Due to the history of the socialisation of males, it is evident in today s society that they are more likely to survive after not attending school than females, whose only other option is domestic labour. This is so because males are hardened to find other ways of making a living. (Chevannes, 1999) Figueroa (2004) identifies other minor factors which influence male underperformance such as: the absence of motivational factors, a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A major problem with this approach is that it may cause a superpower to consume its resources, so then when it attempts to regain its authority over the rest of the world after being isolationist for so long and now having limited resources, it is no longer an intimidating force, and thus loses its superpower supremacy. The original empire of China was technologically superior to the rest of the world at that time, but it was isolationist and eventually overtaken as the rest of the world advanced (Further information located in Encarta Encyclopedia for Windows). Aiding countries can be achieved in many ways. There can be simply financial aid. In order for a therapist to be able to show unconditional positive regard, they need to know, accept and value themselves and be in touch with their own values and morals. I think that the more a therapist is accepting of who they are themselves, the better they will be able to accept and respect their clients. Congruence Congruence can be explained as genuineness, being honest or real with the client. Congruence is the state of being of the counsellor when her outward responses to her client consistently match the inner feelings and sensations which she has in relation to the client. (Mearns and Thorne, 1999, p84) The client must perceive the therapist as being real, in order to develop trust. Again this requires a good awareness and self knowledge of the therapist. Criticisms on Person Centred Therapy Rogers himself was aware of the criticism expressed about his theories by people who prefer other therapeutic approaches. He describes in Chapter 5 in his book Client Centred Therapy, three questions raised by other viewpoints . As we go through school as aspiring educators we learn a lot about the residential schools, truth and reconciliation, etc, because we need to be aware of Canada s past and need to be able to lead the future as we are the ones transferring information into young minds. Now Anna s story I found was very strong and truthful as she gave two different experiences in these schools. If an objective definition is taken seriously in legal matters than, perpetrators will quickly discover that their actions will have serious consequences, and will minimize if not stop their degrading behavior. Another issue with her definition that she discusses is that, interpretation is still used when determining if behavior constitutes as sexual harassment. The interpretation necessary when using an objective definition, includes assessing the offenders behavior and whether or not it to be considered sexual harassment (did it occurr because woman are the inferior group). This interpretation has a lot less wiggle room than when using a subjective definition, which relies on the victims actions to determine whether something is considered sexual harassment. Further, greed causes many other sins such as lust, adultery, envy and theft. Acts such as these lead people away from their moral compass and into a life of calamity and dissatisfaction. Greed is often a well that is never filled and as humans are too weak to withstand their temptations, they go to great lengths to try to quench their thirst. A compilation of Chinese poems titled Tao Te Ching written by Laozi, illuminate how greed is a precipitate to things that go awry in life. As seen through the scope of the Tao Te Ching, various events from the ancient Indian epic poem by Valmiki, The Ramayana, as well as the Middle Eastern folk tales, The Thousand and One Nights, showcase characters that struggle to cope with their greed. This paper will argue that greed is the source of all evil because it blinds the sense of judgement and proportion leading people to take immoral actions. It will conclude that redemption can only be found through self realization and selflessness. The Tao Te Ching focuses on the effects of greed and how it compromises people s lives. There are different types of greed such as materialism and lust. They are desires for property and the body which neither of the two is good in excess. But when Sony premiered the Blu ray Disc player in their Play Station 3, the tides were turned. Effective marketing techniques shifted the market trend in the Blu ray favour until 2008, when Toshiba announced that it was pulling back the HD DVD format and that Blu ray Discs were to become the standard of High Definition Audio and Video ( Toshiba Drops Out of the HD DVD War , 2008). Many entertainment and multimedia distributors also pulled their support and from there on, Blu ray Discs have been the industry standard. HD DVD had one major benefit: the price. Its player cost about $400 less than the standard Blu ray Disc player. This was a major driving factor in the adoption of this format by all the major movie distributors as this meant a larger sale. Another major advantage was that the HD DVD player was reverse compatible which meant that older DVDs and CDs could be played on it. Seasoned teachers relying on years of experience will sometimes disregard the realities of ADHD. Most feel they understand what is going on in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Sparks study, using tools to allow creative minds to blossom is something he suggests. According to a study published in The Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology, by Cory Armes, M.E suggests hyperactivity may actually help students overcome their attention problems. Running, jumping and even rolling around in class actually helps an ADHD student concentrate. Most ADHD students become restless when they are asked to do a task involving the use of the executive functioning of the brain. Research also shows when students with ADHD were asked to do a task which involved working with memory and organization, students that were given permission to move or fidget performed much better than students who were asked to be still. This study proves the ADHD student s gross motor movements helps them finish intellectual tasks. In essence if a student with ADHD is allowed to move around and fidget, they will be more successful in their work. What does this mean to the average student and teacher? Studies have shown to help an ADHD student succeed, he or she must be allowed to be hyperactive. How does one control this hyperactive behavior? A wobble chair, an exercise ball as a seat and small fidget devices such as squishy balls, cubes, and spinners can be used by ADHD students to keep them in their space and be less of a distraction for others in the class. Allowances are made for children with wheelchairs along with other disabilities and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Disruptive Behavior Classroom Disruptive behavior in the classroom Over the years at work I have noticed that disruptive behavior of students is a big challenge and a frequent problem that teachers have to address in their classrooms. For those who are involved in education know that teachers on a daily basis have a high amount of demands like improve test results, successfully teach to students with diverse needs, and raise ability to serve all students, often with minimum resources and support. Consequences of several national Gallup polls evidently document that both the general public and teachers be in agreement that a major dilemma for public schools is lack of students discipline in classrooms (Elam, Rose, Gallup, 1996; Rose Gallup, 2003, 2004). It is very ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If teachers do not stop immediately a disruptive behavior in the classroom, this may be a beginning of a future problem for the learners. I have noticed in my school, that teachers who do not tolerated any disruptive behavior in any place at school like in their classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and cafeteria, those classrooms run very efficiently. In the other hand, teachers that I have seen who tolerated disruptive behavior at the same places the classroom is totally ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 36. The Word Superiority Effect ( Wse ) Abstract The word superiority effect (WSE), recognition of letters better in words than non words, has been observed in normal adults, but is not observed in studies done with normal children. The supported theory is that this is caused by the development of top down processing sometime during the children s growth. A Reicher Wheeler task will be conducted on normal children in 5 different age groups as well as adults. The expected results are to see an increasing WSE as the age of the children increases. Key Words: Word Superiority Effect, Pseudoword Superiority Effect, Reicher Wheeler, Top Down Processing, Children, Adults. Top Down Processing Development: Reicher Wheeler Task Results of Middle to Late Childhood Age Children The word superiority effect (WSE) is the phenomenon that subjects are more likely to recognize a letter accurately in a word (WINGS) than in a psuedoword, strings of letters that follow known language rules and are pronounceable (WUNGS), a non word, strings of letters that do not follow known language rules and are not pronounceable (WCHDS), or just in a mask (TXXXX) (Coch, 2010; Grainger, 2003; Jordan, 1996). This is observed through The Reicher Wheeler Paradigm. In this test a subject is shown a string of letters and asked to identify the letter in a specific location using a forced choice task (Grainger, 2003; Hildebrandt, 1995; Jordan 1996). The effect has been observed in many empirical studies, and has been seen in adults across ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, even with a significant depreciation, the NPV for this investment is always positive, which means it is always positive. In case of depreciation, we could reduce the currency effect by hedging its position in the forward and future market, the money market or the options market. Therefore, we recommend to approve the equipment purchase. [8] See Exhibit 8. Exhibit 1. Exhibit 2. Exhibit 3. Exhibit 4. Exhibit 5 t 5.
