This document outlines Demetrious Gamble's personal brand exploration to become a broadcast news analyst. He comes from a military family and played sports growing up, fueling his dream of working for ESPN. Demetrious is studying sportscasting at Full Sail University and interning with an AAU basketball team. His goals are to initially cover college or pro sports, then become a multi-sport journalist. 2. • Demetrious comes from a military family as well as
being in JROTC in high school instilling the proper core
values and beliefs. He’s been a fan of football,
basketball, and baseball since he has been able to hold
one in his hand, and has dreams of becoming a
Broadcast News Analyst for ESPN. Demetrious is
currently enrolled in the Dan Patrick Sportscasting
program at Full Sail where he is honing his skills to
become a broadcaster

• Short term (Immediately after graduation 2021): Land a job
covering a collegiate or professional football or basketball team.

that is available within my field from ESPN or Fox Sports with the
years and knowledge of accumulated experience I gained.
• Long Term(10-20 years): be the senior director or have the free
range ability to be a multi sports journalist with the years of
experience and connections with co workers and friends I’ve

Technical skills consist of Adobe Effects Pro (2020),
Microsoft Word processor (2019), Editing pro (2020), and
with the expectation to learn skills such as Web platform
development software, and music or sound editing software
before expected graduation date of 2021.
The type of mentor I will seek out is one of the senior level
status with at least 15 years of experience to show me how
to stay sharp on my technical skills, and teach me things
about my profession I don’t learn in school. Expected
mentor date: Dec. 2020.
