In 6 months, the objectives are to recruit and retain staff, connect with local networks and communities, and provide information to parents and frontline workers regarding child mental health services. The core areas of competence are assessment, intervention, consultation, training, and network governance. Key tasks involve networking with referrers, engaging and assessing children and families, providing brief interventions and information, consultation, and skills-based training. Governance involves safeguarding training, audit/monitoring, supervision, and working towards outcomes.
