This document discusses using cognitive computing techniques to develop artificial intelligence that can play complex games. It proposes an architecture inspired by IBM Watson's DeepQA system and human approaches to playing games. The architecture uses multiple evaluators to assess the game state and potential moves. A proof of concept is described using the complex tile-based game Infinite City. The document also discusses using "deep thinking" and self-analysis to allow the AI to evaluate its performance and strategies and change strategies if needed. This approach aims to develop more flexible and powerful artificial game players.
