Assignment On Object Oriented Programming
TITLE PAGE
COP 3330 OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING
NAME: DEVARSHI PATEL
PID: 392427
DATE: OCTOBER 25, 2016
Doing the research about the object oriented programming on online and also while being enrolled in
this class I have learned so many new things about computer concepts, background and its languages
throughout this fall semester. Which I would like to use and share that information I learned about
object oriented programming languages in this research paper. Even while looking more depth on
online about object oriented languages, I got excited to learn more and more about different computer
languages. In this research, I would share what object oriented means, and also describe two
languages of Object oriented programming particularly I would use Java and C++ to compare and
contrast while using their background information about each language of Java and C++ of an object
oriented programming language.
First of all, let me begin with Object oriented programming. Object oriented programming is a type of
a computer programming language in which begin with the basic concept of an object. Where to
object is characterized by its states and behavior. The state is basically information about object
known about itself and behavior is an action that object can do or react. For example, if you meet a
new person the state is a name, address, height, weight, and so on and its behavior of a person can be
speaking, read, write, run, walk, swim, jump, and so on. Objects are

What Is The Purpose Of The Book Of Acts
The book of Acts begins as Jesus ascended into Heaven. The Holy Spirit has manifested into the
hearts of the Twelve Apostles, therefore the word of God infinitely spread, and the number of disciples
had grown immensely in Jerusalem. More and more believed in Jesus. As the church had grown
problems had occurred between the Hellenistic Jews and the native Hebrews, Peter the leader of The
Twelve was confronted with a challenging situation. The Hellenistic Jews who spoke Greek had
tension with the Hebraic Jews who spoke Hebrew because they felt as if their widows were neglected.
During this time, the women did not have an education nor had to work their husbands were the sole
providers. Therefore, if their husbands had passed on they will not have any source of living income
or supplemental support. The needs of the Hellenistic Jews were overlooked. ... Show more content on

1919 Dbq
1919 was one of the most violent and angry years of the 20th century in the U.S. Over 4 1/2 million
soldiers and sailors were demobilizing after World War I, and about 400,000 were Black. These
returning veterans often found intense competition for jobs and a changed racial makeup in Northern
cities. During the war Northern employers had advertised in the South for workers, and black
newspapers had urged blacks to take advantage of the higher wages and more tolerant racial policies
in the North. During the war millions of Southerners, black and white, had migrated north, meeting
the demand for workers in Northern industry. This shortage of jobs for returning veterans only
worsened the conflicts between labor and management. Workers believed that they had made
sacrifices for the war effort and now, in the face of inflation, deserved higher wages and the
recognition of their unions by both government and business. Failing to achieve these goals, over 4
million workers engaged in 3600 strikes in 1919. In Chicago in July, over 250,000 workers were
involved. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Then in March, 1919, the Third Communist International was created in Russia to achieve a world
wide proletarian revolution. These events had awakened fears in millions of Americans of a

the fear of radicalism. Americans clamored for protective action . By the end of 1919 government
officials and vigilantes attacked suspected communists and other radicals in a nation wide Red

The Dice Game
Abstract
The Dice game is a powerful active and interactive learning exercise that helps in learning different
concepts of production, and The theory of constraints provides an integrative framework of Operations
Management concepts . It illustrate the impact of dependency and variability on output and work in
process inventory in balanced processes. With enhancement in technology both internal as well as
external factors play a vital role in shaping and improving the supply chain management of an
organization. this paper goes beyond the basic model and gives a in depth knowledge of how
spreadsheet simulations can be used to generate results. the integration between operation
management and theory of constraints proves its existence and use in day today industry. and analysis
of it gives a clear picture of various topics covered in operation management

The TOC mainly focuses on increasing throughput, instead of reducing operating expenses, as a
source of improving financial performance, and an awareness that performance is affected by various
constraints. The main TOC measures are Throughput(T), Inventory(I), and Operating Expense(OE).
These measures are global, i.e. they measure the results of whole organization rather than parts of the
organization. While traditional methods of OM discuss cross functional aspects, TOC approach
emphasizes on measuring and improving system wide results and identifying factors that restrict the
performance of whole system. It recognizes the effect of variability dependency on the performance of
the system and uses the dice game to illustrate the impact. TOC framework include drum buffer rope

Who Is Crazy In A Midsummer Night s Dream
In William Shakespeare s play, A Midsummer Night s Dream there is Makeups,Breakups and Love.
The characters go through a roller coaster of emotions throughout the play. Many emotions of the
characters are made confusing by the king of fairies Oberon and his servant Puck/Robin. The drama
throughout the play creates many problems for the characters. One of those characters is Helena, she
shows that love is crazy when she talks to Hermia, gives Demetrius permission to beat her and when
she talks to Demetrius in the woods. In the beginning of the play Helena is introduced with being in
love with Demetrius. The audience knows from the text that Demetrius is in love with Hermia. While
talking with Hermia, Helena says, The more I love, the more he hateth me (Shakespeare 199). Helena
is talking about Demetrius in this instance. She is saying that the more she loves him the more he
hates her. This is the first introduction of the theme that love is crazy. Love is making ... Show more

This is where Oberon sends Puck to put the love potion on Demetrius s eyes. Oberon gives Puck a
very vague description of who he is supposed to put the love potion on. Puck ends up putting the love
potion on Demetrius s and Lysander s eyes. The love potion works where whoever the person sees
first they will fall in love with. Lysander and Demetrius both happen to see Helena first when they
wake up, so they both fall in love with her. Helena thinks they are playing a joke on her and doesn t
believe what they are saying. Hermia comes into the mix and Helena thinks she is joking with her too.
While talking to Hermia, Helena says, Wherefore speaks he this, To her he hates? (Shakespeare 230
231). In this line Helena is saying, Why would he speak to me like this if he hates me? She is referring
to when Demetrius was calling her beautiful and a goddess. This shows how love is crazy, because it
started with Demetrius hating her to now being in love with

Psychodynamic Approach To Leadership Analysis
Leadership is the tactics shown by an individual to lead an organization or a group of individuals.
Leaders are people who do the right thing; managers are people who do things right (Professor Warren
G. Bennis). Leaders do right things and shows right path. They always motivate or guide others to
follow this right path. They create inspiring vision to deliver something new.. They set direction, to
win and steadily improve the present situation as a team by this new inspiring vision Various factors
which contribute equally for the development of a good leader are personality , good communication,
open mind to accept once weakness and vulnerability , motivation and inspiration from others, good
team work balance of concern for oneself vs. others. This reflective assignment deals with
psychodynamic approach to leadership and how to use psychology to improve efficiency.

Stonewall Jackson And The American Civil War
Let us cross over the river, and rest under the shade of the trees. 1 These were some of Stonewall
Jackson s Final words. Jackson was one of the most charismatic and influential Generals to have ever
participated in the American Civil War. It was his work ethic, morality, and immense military
expertise that gained him his infamous recognition and respect. Just a small overview of his life will
clearly explain how Stonewall Jackson earned his merit as being one of the most outstanding Civil
War generals that this country has ever seen.
Stonewall began his career as an Army officer as a second lieutenant serving in an artillery regiment
for the Mexican American War from 1846 1848. During this time, Stonewall earned two field [brevet]
promotions and a regular Army promotion to first lieutenant.2 It was also in Mexico that Stonewall
first met Robert E. Lee, future commander of the Confederate Army. During the war, Stonewall
displayed incredible strength of character by refusing to obey what he correctly identified as a bad
order. 2 In other events, he demonstrated his prowess in the strategic mind of the battlefield and
earned another field promotion to Major. After the war, Army Commander Winfield Scott recognized
Stonewall for earning more field promotions than any other officer throughout the Mexican American
War.3
In 1851, Stonewall was offered a teaching position at the newly opened Virginia Military Institute.
Stonewall accepted the offer, and taught Natural and

Case Study Of Haumann Motors
OPERATIONAL RISKS IN HANUMAN MOTORS
A date was scheduled to conduct an on site visit of the company wherein we discussed the service
operations with the higher management of Hanuman Motors.
The operational risk involves the risk of a change in value caused by the actual losses, incurred for
inadequate or failed internal processes, systems and people, or from external events.
Political, Regulatory, Legal and Other Risks
The Indian automotive dealership and services industry is subject to various laws and governmental
regulations including those related to vehicle safety and environmental matters such as noise, emission
levels, fuel economy and pollution. Sometimes, automotive manufacturers such as Tata, Fiat and
Yamaha (Hanuman Motors is currently a dealer for these three companies) are required ... Show more

are never involved in such malpractices. Hanuman Motors make sure that no belongings are left inside
the car when they are given for servicing. If care is not taken, the risk of getting falsely accused looms
large.
Lack of skilled mechanics
The management in Hanuman Motors expressed the concern of lack in the supply of skilled
manpower. It is very difficult to find right replacements in case of any attrition of experienced
mechanic. This brings with it the risk of inefficient operations as long as skilled replacement is not
found. The customers prefer other service stations when timely and efficient services are not available.
Health of employees

the repair shop. These include
slip, trips and falls caused by spilled motor oils
cuts, bruises and injuries from mishandling

A Holistic Business Problem
BUSINESS ETHICS

A holistic business problem with ethical implications can occur within the overall proposal process.
Timken, particularly due to its minority position within the European market, has a particular interest

ethical considerations occur. As the case indicates, Rulmenti Grei provides Timken with a broader
more diversified product offering. The European consumer likes to purchase an array of products from
a single provider. This is in stark contrast to the American market that prefers the niche companies
who specify in a particular ball bearing. This contrast in consumer preferences creates ethical issues
for Timken.

happiness forevermore? No, it cannot, not without consequences; as shown in Le Guin s story. Good

Powerful Women of Homer s Odyssey Essay
The Powerful Women of Homer s Odyssey
Homer s Odyssey depicts women as strong subjects they are real substantive characters. Women in
this poem are tough, strong willed and are treated with the respect and seriousness they deserve.
Homer characterizes the women in his poem as the real counterparts of men they have real feelings,
real plans and are able to accomplish them on their own.
Some of the more impressive and intriguing women in the book are Nausicaa, Arete, Circe, Calypso,
Penelope, Helen and Athena.

Circe and Calypso, while very tricky and sly, are still very strong feminine characters. Circe takes
Odysseus crew and turns them into swine; when Odysseus is able to resist her spell, due to the Moly
he had been given by Hermes, she is dismayed and takes him as her lover. She is mysterious and
seductive and is strong even up against Odysseus. Calypso is a sea nymph who keeps Odysseus
captive for nine years, hoping to make him her husband. She is a strong willed temptress whose sultry
ways are able to reel in even the most determined man.
Penelope and Helen are the real human women who can steal men s hearts with their own feminine
ways and they never let their man go. Helen stole the heart of Paris and later married Menelaus the
love that Paris had for Helen began the long Trojan War. Even with her shaded past, Helen is able to
live her life as a proper adjusted middle class matron. Penelope and Odysseus were only together for a
few years before he was sent off to war and, while he was gone for over twenty years, his love for her
lasted. Penelope is the symbol of marital fidelity, of trust, honor and devotion.

United States Government Policy Analysis
The role of the United States government has increased to detrimental levels over the last century. Our
nation is currently over 18 trillion dollars in debt and this number continues to grow everyday. Social
programs are leading our nation s people under a constraining weight of debt and forced dependency
on the government. Our government needs to refocus on serving the people instead of enslaving them.
Adam Smith, an eighteenth century Scottish moral philosopher said the ideal functions of the
government are few and well defined. (Lipford, Slice, 2007) Smith named three important functions,
national defense, administration of justice, and the provision of public goods. One of the largest
reasons our country is in so much debt is from government expansion to include many socialistic
programs. Many of these programs were started by President Franklin D. Roosevelt between 1933 and
1938 in response to the great depression of 1929, and are still in ... Show more content on

Compare And Contrast The Political Culture Of Texas
When looking at the diversity of Texas, it is hard to say that any one political culture would cover the
entire state. As large of a state as it is, a particular label would not suit everyone in the state, and
maybe even internally contradictory. Texas is home to a large, diverse population, literally, millions of
people in the second largest state within the United States of America. Among these people there is a
broad spectrum of races, ethnic backgrounds, economic interests and opinions. Some of these
differences are based upon need and economic status, but other differences are varied by the region of
the state. However, Texas political culture can easily be described using a few different philosophies;
populism, liberalism, and conservatism. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

multiple software tools in order to conduct microwave heating simulations of interest. The objective is
to document the important technical information regarding the procedures for later re enactment. After
various comparisons, CST Studio Suite was selected as the preferred software and every simulation
hereafter was done using CST. To authenticate the simulation procedure, validation of a paper

3.2.1 Workflow Procedure
During or after the installation of HFSS, it needs to be made sure that the integration operation with a
similar model of ANSYS has been enabled. Once HFSS is successfully integrated with ANSYS, the
electromagnetic response of the model is computed by HFSS. The following two types of losses are
extracted from HFSS simulation outputs:
(i) Surface loss density (W/m2), resulting from metallic losses.
(ii) Volume loss density (W/m3), resulting from the dielectric losses.
These electrical results including losses are imported to ANSYS, ANSYS maps the surface and
volume losses from HFSS and conducts mechanical simulations to acquire thermal responses. The
thermal response will be a function of the input power level of the microwave signal and also the
frequency.
The process is then reversed by importing the thermal results from ANSYS back to HFSS. EM
simulations are carried out in HFSS to recalculate the losses and the process is repeated many times
until a converged criterion is satisfied. The decision chart shown in Figure 3.1 explains the process
[1].

What Is The Gradient Of A Graph
From the graph shown in Figure 6, it can be seen that the data has a linear relationship where
y=0.0715 x. The extremely high r squared value of 0.9988 for the graph shows that a linear trendline
is appropriate for the data set. The gradient of this graph can be used to calculate the constant of
magnetism (k) which then can be compared against its actual value to determine the percentage error
present in the results. As I_OUT MAX=(4π^2 fkN_1 N_2 I)/RL A, the gradient of a graph where peak
output current is graphed against peak input current the gradient is equal to (4π^2 fkN_1 N_2)/RL A.
Therfore, 0.0715=(4π^2 fkN_1 N_2 I)/RL A 0.0715=(4π^2*50*420*1000*k)/(11.9*0.109)*0.00056

Mc Organic Acid
After exposing the sample to UV radiation the visible band is determine to be at the maximum
absorbance, as shown in Figure 1. This absorbance band at 563 nm and 579 nm corresponds to the
reaction SP → MC. By monitoring the exponential decay function of MC, we are able to construct a
linear fit of the data, as shown in Figure 3, which confirms a first order decay. The corresponding rate
constants were determined from the slope of the fit, and it was found that as we increase [SP] the rate
is relatively constant. Further, this reaction was done on different solvents, which includes acetone and
cyclohexane. Following Table 2, it seems that with the addition of cyclohexane, the rate of decay of
MC is faster. This indicates that due to the non polar ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With the inclusion of an organic acid, it protonates the MC to form MCH+. This compound itself has a
different absorbance band relative to MC, which was found to be around 408 nm in acetone and 453
nm in cyclohexane. Because the reaction must follow this sequence MCH+→ MC → SP, the
corresponding rate of decay must be slower. As shown in Table 1 and 2, the decay rate with the
addition of TFA is significantly lower relative to just SP in the solution. However, increasing acid
concentration slows down the decay rate because more of MC is being converted to MCH+. Ergo, it
will have a longer process to convert all of the MCH+ back into SP. Again, comparing the rate of
decay of MCH+ at different solvents, it was determined that the environment did not have a drastic
effect on the conversion. In addition, the average of the rate of decay was calculated for the first four
samples and was found to be 0.00630 s 1 and 0.0243 s 1 for acetone and cyclohexane, respectively,
which gave an error of 26.0 % and 40.3 %. The inconsistency with these values was most likely
caused by the insufficient time interval for the monitoring of the decay of

How Does Marie Curie Affect Society
Marie Curie s Effects on Today s Society Marie Curie once said I was taught that the way of progress
was neither swift nor easy. Throughout her life, she was to learn this lesson over and over again.
Despite the many obstacles standing in her way, she made incredible progress in numerous fields and
shook the world, not to mention the scientific community, to its very core. In 1896, Henri Becquerel
observed some rays of unknown nature (Madame Curie, p. 153) radiating off of uranium salts. Marie,
fascinated by these rays, took to studying this interesting phenomenon herself. As a result of these
studies, she discovered an entirely new field of science, and coined the term Radioactivity. She also
discovered two new elements, polonium and radium. This lead to the discoveries of new elements by
other scientists. The next year, 1899, André Debierne discovered actinium. In just a few more years,
there became a global race to element discovery. It was a fruitful pursuit, to which we owe
mesothorium, radiothorium, ionium, protactinium, and radio lead. (Madame Curie, p.194) The
discoveries of these new elements led to our knowledge of science to change in new and dramatic
ways. A lot of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

atoms and elements underwent The transmutation of simple bodies, as Pierre Curie, Marie s husband,

The Importance Of Arts Integration
Arts Integration
The Arts are an important part of education. It allows students to express themselves and enriches their
learning experience. By integrating the arts into everyday education it makes school a place students
look forward to coming to. They can get excited about assignments and events that involve the arts.
Not only does the integration of arts fun for students but also but also helps meet the needs of many
learning styles.
A sense of community is formed among students when arts integration is involver. This is because
there are many opportunities for students to collaborate. While working together on projects, students
will encourage in intense social interaction (Crawford 2004).
Studies have found that when arts integration is implemented in the classroom, students are affected
positively academically and cognitively. Academic outcomes are the achievements students make in
the core academic subjects, including the arts. When literacy and language development has drama
integrated into the lessons, research has found that it helps students with reading and writing by
increasing and refining oral language skills and story understanding. The positive impact of arts
integrated instruction on literacy development is especially strong for English language learners at the
elementary and middle school levels (Anon 2017). Research has also found that math skills are
improved when connections between art study are drawn. Music and dance have been found to help

Maslow s Hierarchy Of Needs
Throughout human history people have sought to better themselves and ascend to higher levels
beyond what others thought possible. As many might say, life is more than just surviving, it is about
doing the things one dreams of, learning new things, mastering new skills, and being with the people
that one enjoys being with. On the contrary, not all people get to do any of those things. It seems that
the ultimate goal is self actualization and life fulfillment, yet why do people never seem to reach that
point?
Humanistic psychology is a value orientation that holds a hopeful, constructive view of human beings
and of their substantial capacity to be self determining (AHP). It focuses on the self, experiences, and
motivation systems unrelated to rewards or unconscious desires (McLeod, Maslow s Hierarchy of
Needs). Abraham Maslow, one of the leading psychologists in humanistic psychology, conceived the
idea of the hierarchy of needs that revealed what motivates people to do the things that they do.
Similarly, Carl Rodgers later added that for a person to grow , they need an environment that provides
them with genuineness, acceptance, and empathy (McLeod, Carl Rogers). In Maslow s hierarchy of
needs one cannot get to the top without first starting from the bottom and working upwards through
each level. As can be seen in the diagram on page 2, from the bottom up Maslow states that
physiological needs must be met, then safety, love, esteem, and self actualization. The key is

Herzberg s Theory Of Employee Retention
Employee retention refers to the ability of an organization to retain its employees. Employee retention
can be represented by a simple statistic (for example, a retention rate of 80% usually indicates that an
organization kept 80% of its employees in a given period). However, many consider employee
retention as relating to the efforts by which employers attempt to retain employees in their workforce.
In this sense, retention becomes the strategies rather than the outcome. A distinction should be drawn
between low performing employees and top performers, and efforts to retain employees should be
targeted at valuable, contributing employees. Employee turnover is a symptom of deeper issues that
have not been resolved, which may include low employee morale, absence of a clear career path, lack
of recognition, poor employee manager relationships or many other issues. A lack of satisfaction and
commitment to the organization can also cause an employee to withdraw and ... Show more content on

The theories have overlap, but the fundamental nature of each model differs. While Maslow s
Hierarchy implies the addition or removal of the same need stimuli will enhance or detract from the
employee s satisfaction, Herzberg s findings indicate that factors garnering job satisfaction are
separate from factors leading to poor job satisfaction and employee turnover. Herzberg s system of
needs is segmented into motivators and hygiene factors. Like Maslow s Hierarchy, motivators are
often unexpected bonuses that foster the desire to excel. Hygiene factors include expected conditions
that if missing will create dissatisfaction. Examples of hygiene factors include bathrooms, lighting,
and the appropriate tools for a given job. Employers must utilize positive reinforcement methods
while maintaining expected hygiene factors to maximize employee satisfaction and retention

1700 s 1900 Advertising has gone through several periods to be developed to the extent that it is today.
Beginning in the 1700 s, the concept of the newspaper began to take hold of the early American
Colonies. It wasn t until 1736 that the concept of advertising became an aspect of newspapers due to
its popularization on the count of Benjamin Franklin. Franklin began to use advertisements to sell
items such as wine and mathematical instruments, and he used his expertise to teach stores to advertise
by utilizing illustrations. With the Stamp Act of 1765, advertising became more relevant than news as

Informative Speech On Red Wine
Red wine is a type of alcoholic beverage that is made out of dark coloured grapes. There are diverse
varieties of wine like Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Madiran and much more. The colour of red
wine can range from violet to brown. There is an estimated total of 100 countries that have wineries.
One of which is the oldest known winery in Armenia, a country near Georgia, Turkey and Iraq. You
might think that red wine is inadequate as it can get you intoxicated, which can then lead to accidents,
this is partially false. Firstly, you need to know how much to drink per day, secondly, how and why
red wine can alleviate your health and well being and lastly, data and statistics that have been
collected from around the globe. There s a difference between getting intoxicated and having a
beneficial amount. According to many online sources, the recommended healthy daily intake of red

Using The Methods Of Categorization And Compartmentalization
Check One Using the methods of categorization and compartmentalization in order to more easily
comprehend difficult subjects is natural, yet when the objects subjected to forced categorical
placement are human beings, how can this method still be justified? When taking a standardized test,
filling out legal paperwork, or taking a census, we are presented with a question that, in some cases,
might be more difficult than all of the following questions on an exam. Staring up from the page are
the words Ethnicity: (Choose One) followed by a series of boxes next to words such as White , Black ,
Asian , etc. When did the colors White and Black , a singular phenotypic characteristic, come to
define an entire race? This perception of color stems from colonial times when white Euro colonizers
imposed their self righteous attitudes of white supremacy on their newly acquired lands. These ideals
involved in the creation of the binaries of black and white, which originate in the slave and master
relationship established in the exploitation of African (black) slaves by European colonizers and
plantation owners (white). In L. Kaifa Roland s Cuban Color in Tourism and La Lucha: An
Ethnography of Racial Meanings and Junot Diaz s How to Date a Brown Girl, Black Girl, White Girl,
or Halfie , the authors explore the trials faced by modern day colored people. These authors delve into
how the color and racial hierarchies effect perceptions of stereotypes, self image, and overall

How Did Martin Luther Influence The World
The Life and Influence of Martin Luther
Thesis: Martin Luther was by far one of the most influential people in Church history. His doctrine on
faith and works was instrumental in the success of the reformation and has since become a cornerstone
of the church we know today.
Martin Luther was born on November 10th 1483. His father, Hans Luther, had made something out of
himself and came to own a copper mine. Desiring to see his own son go even further he pushed him in
school. By the time he was seventeen years old he was entering the university life. In four years he
had obtained a Master s degree from the University of Erfurt. From here his father pushed him into
law school. This is not where Martin Luther would stay. While on the road, ... Show more content on

Justification or salvation happened with an individual based on their relationship with God. This was
merely a public affirmation similar to Baptism. The Church began to pray on the fact that the common
people believed that through their (the church) words they (the people) were being justified. Lindberg
states, The word of absolution is rather a verbal act, which first creates a relationship 0 between God
in whose name it is spoken, and the person to whom it is spoken and who believes the promise.
Running a church with the size and functionality of the Roman Catholic Church is expensive and
people were willing to pay to see themselves and their love ones absolved of sin. The indulgence was
the proverbial Get out of Jail Free card.
Martin Luther s most dramatic and bold act may have been nailing 95 Theses onto the Church doors in
Wittenberg. It all began with Luther s Ninety Five Theses which seemed to be aimed at depriving the
pope of his power and the people of their consolation. Nearly all of the 95 Theses are aimed toward
clarifying justification as an act of faith and that no man or money can get it for you. The twenty first
thesis states Thus those indulgence preachers are in error who say that a man is absolved from every
penalty and saved by papal indulgences. With the sale of indulgences came the implication that you
are rewarded for good works, but any other work is going to cost you something only the Church

Similarities Between The Balloon And The Red Balloon
GEORGETA HARPAD
ESL 101
JOBST
Love and Friendship
Stopping for a few seconds to admire a flower, an insect, a phenomenon of nature, an architecture,
etc., in days full of worries, have become memorable. Also, all these seconds sent me every time into a
wonderful world, just like Confucius said, Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it . The
short films The Balloon directed by Martynas Zaremba and The Red Balloon directed by Albert
Lamorisse have the plot people s reaction for a few seconds at sight of a black balloon. The Balloon
film submits a series of reactions from various people in the city caused by a simple black balloon
with no intended meaning. The balloon starts to appear above the city one night while people were
sleeping. The Red Balloon , too shows an emotional story of friendship between a boy called Pascal,
and his red balloon. The writer and director Lamorisse succeeds through fiction to combine reality, the
wonder, and the magic of this friendship. In both short films, the main focus is a floating balloon, but I
believe that their differences are more striking than their similarities. Both films The Balloon and The
Red Balloon have a similar high point. In my opinion The Balloon high point is that when the balloon
appears on a street where a bad boy with a knife in his hand is ready to commit an act of violence. The
presence of the balloon in that area stops the bad boy to commit it. Moreover, the bad boy looks his
way to sky to admire the balloon for a few seconds. Likewise, the balloon from Lamorisse s film
avoid an act of violence. For example, a gang of older kids chases Pascal around city, determined to
steal and destroy his balloon. The red balloon performs a miracle, it saves little Pascal from that chase.
It sacrifices itself and lets itself tortured with stones to save Pascal s life. Furthermore, the red balloon
dies for this cause. However, in three distinct ways, The Balloon and The Red Balloon films are
almost opposites. First of all, their score is very different. The Balloon film sound source is the song
with lyrics titled Time to Leave of the band Suicide DJs. The lyrics can provide depth, powerful to the
song, and make the audience to

Merit 2 – Use different sociological perspectives to...
Merit 2 Use different sociological perspectives to discuss patterns and trends of health and illness in
two different social groups.
Distinction 1 Evaluate different sociological explanations for patterns and trends of health and illness
in two different social groups.
There are many different factors that can increase your chance of becoming ill and dying. The
different factors are social class, gender, age and ethnicity. The different social groups I will look at
are social class and gender. I am going to look into how these affect health; I will also explain the
pattern and trends. I am using gender because it fits in with the sociological perspective feminism and
social class fits in with Marxism.
Social class is how people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People that live in socially deprived areas are more likely to have mental illness, poverty, poor
education and low socioeconomic status. This is mainly because of the conditions they have been
brought up in and live in; if they lived in better conditions then they probably wouldn t have health
problems like this.
The Marxist approach proves that the least deprived individuals are the ruling class and the most
deprived individuals are in the working class. In the hierarchy Marxists believe that most of the
deprived people shouldn t have and education and they should be working in factories and other
environments like this. Marxist know that the most deprived individuals work in poor conditions that
could make them ill, people in the lower class don t earn as much as a higher class would. This is
because they are in the lower class and they live and work in poor conditions so they don t need to
earn as much.
Marxists believe that the most deprived people shouldn t have a good education and the least deprived
people need more of an education so they can get into the better jobs. Least deprived people have
more money and more control, Marxists are for this and would rather

Essay on Ethical Issues in Secured Communications
Ethical Issues in Secured Communications
1. Introduction
The outstanding growth of network technologies in the past decade have contributed to millions of
new applications and industries. Literally millions of companies around the world were created to
serve this huge growth. Even though many of those companies did not survive until the present time,
most of the applications did survive and they are still widely used among consumers of all ages,
cultures, and backgrounds.
Most of the widely used applications are not secured. I will define what is meant by a secured
communication later in the paper. However, this paper is more concerned in the way people use these
applications in terms of identity. Many applications allow ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

2.1 Security Background
2.1.1 Secured Communications
Security and privacy are not new concepts. At 400 BC the Greeks used a transposition cipher.
Individual letters were written on a long thin sheet of paper and then wrapped around a cylinder. The
diameter of the cylinder was the key to find out the original letter. In this context, I find it necessary to
give some definitions of related vocabulary in this field.
Plain text or PT is the original message that we need to send. Usually we do not want others to be able
to know our original message.
Cipher text or CT is the encrypted plain text which is not readable for others.
Encryption is the process of changing a secret message (plain text) into a disguised one (cipher text).
Decryption is the process of changing the Cipher text back to the original Plain text.
Cryptography (literally means secret writing) is the science encompassing the principles and methods
of transforming a PT message into a CT one, and then retransforming that message back to its original
form.
cryptanalysis the study of principles and methods of transforming a CT message back into a PT
message without knowledge of the key. Also called code breaking
cryptology both cryptography and cryptanalysis

The Comics As New Form Of Communication
Reenvisioning Comics as New Form of Communication It is a truth universally acknowledged that as
man has evolved into a more complex being, the appearance of pictures has gradually been replaced
by words. As children mature, they are often encouraged to read lengthy novels as opposed to comics,
which are deemed to be childish and simple. However, this denies them the potential that comics can
offer in terms of communication and creativity. In his graphic essay, Show and Tell, comic artist Scott
McCloud encourages the youth to utilize the benefits comics offer as a new form of expression. By
presenting examples of how words and pictures can be harmoniously used and by identifying elements
of comics that can enhance communication, McCloud is able to successfully argue for the importance
of comics as new mediums for literature and creative expression. In addition, Hillary Chute s essay,
Comics as Literature? Reading Graphic Narrative, further elaborates on the unique characteristics of
comics that can amplify expression, such as manipulating temporality. Furthermore, Why Teach with
Comics by Jennifer Haines illustrates how comics can be used to widen the potential audience of
writer and how they can improve the way people learn. In modern society, comics are viewed as
lowbrow, simple constructions of words and images, which are primarily used for recreation.

  • 2. Assignment On Object Oriented Programming TITLE PAGE COP 3330 OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING NAME: DEVARSHI PATEL PID: 392427 DATE: OCTOBER 25, 2016 Doing the research about the object oriented programming on online and also while being enrolled in this class I have learned so many new things about computer concepts, background and its languages throughout this fall semester. Which I would like to use and share that information I learned about object oriented programming languages in this research paper. Even while looking more depth on online about object oriented languages, I got excited to learn more and more about different computer languages. In this research, I would share what object oriented means, and also describe two languages of Object oriented programming particularly I would use Java and C++ to compare and contrast while using their background information about each language of Java and C++ of an object oriented programming language. First of all, let me begin with Object oriented programming. Object oriented programming is a type of a computer programming language in which begin with the basic concept of an object. Where to object is characterized by its states and behavior. The state is basically information about object known about itself and behavior is an action that object can do or react. For example, if you meet a new person the state is a name, address, height, weight, and so on and its behavior of a person can be speaking, read, write, run, walk, swim, jump, and so on. • 4. 1919 Dbq 1919 was one of the most violent and angry years of the 20th century in the U.S. Over 4 1/2 million soldiers and sailors were demobilizing after World War I, and about 400,000 were Black. These returning veterans often found intense competition for jobs and a changed racial makeup in Northern cities. During the war Northern employers had advertised in the South for workers, and black newspapers had urged blacks to take advantage of the higher wages and more tolerant racial policies in the North. During the war millions of Southerners, black and white, had migrated north, meeting the demand for workers in Northern industry. This shortage of jobs for returning veterans only worsened the conflicts between labor and management. Workers believed that they had made sacrifices for the war effort and now, in the face of inflation, deserved higher wages and the recognition of their unions by both government and business. Failing to achieve these goals, over 4 million workers engaged in 3600 strikes in 1919. In Chicago in July, over 250,000 workers were involved. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Our nation is currently over 18 trillion dollars in debt and this number continues to grow everyday. Social programs are leading our nation s people under a constraining weight of debt and forced dependency on the government. Once HFSS is successfully integrated with ANSYS, the electromagnetic response of the model is computed by HFSS. The following two types of losses are extracted from HFSS simulation outputs: (i) Surface loss density (W/m2), resulting from metallic losses. (ii) Volume loss density (W/m3), resulting from the dielectric losses. These electrical results including losses are imported to ANSYS, ANSYS maps the surface and volume losses from HFSS and conducts mechanical simulations to acquire thermal responses. The thermal response will be a function of the input power level of the microwave signal and also the frequency. The process is then reversed by importing the thermal results from ANSYS back to HFSS. EM simulations are carried out in HFSS to recalculate the losses and the process is repeated many times until a converged criterion is satisfied. This compound itself has a different absorbance band relative to MC, which was found to be around 408 nm in acetone and 453 nm in cyclohexane. Because the reaction must follow this sequence MCH+→ MC → SP, the corresponding rate of decay must be slower. As shown in Table 1 and 2, the decay rate with the addition of TFA is significantly lower relative to just SP in the solution. However, increasing acid concentration slows down the decay rate because more of MC is being converted to MCH+. Ergo, it will have a longer process to convert all of the MCH+ back into SP. Again, comparing the rate of decay of MCH+ at different solvents, it was determined that the environment did not have a drastic effect on the conversion. Throughout her life, she was to learn this lesson over and over again. Despite the many obstacles standing in her way, she made incredible progress in numerous fields and shook the world, not to mention the scientific community, to its very core. In 1896, Henri Becquerel observed some rays of unknown nature (Madame Curie, p. 153) radiating off of uranium salts. Marie, fascinated by these rays, took to studying this interesting phenomenon herself. As a result of these studies, she discovered an entirely new field of science, and coined the term Radioactivity. She also discovered two new elements, polonium and radium. This lead to the discoveries of new elements by other scientists. The next year, 1899, André Debierne discovered actinium. In just a few more years, there became a global race to element discovery. It was a fruitful pursuit, to which we owe mesothorium, radiothorium, ionium, protactinium, and radio lead. On the contrary, not all people get to do any of those things. It seems that the ultimate goal is self actualization and life fulfillment, yet why do people never seem to reach that point? Humanistic psychology is a value orientation that holds a hopeful, constructive view of human beings and of their substantial capacity to be self determining (AHP). It focuses on the self, experiences, and motivation systems unrelated to rewards or unconscious desires (McLeod, Maslow s Hierarchy of Needs). Abraham Maslow, one of the leading psychologists in humanistic psychology, conceived the idea of the hierarchy of needs that revealed what motivates people to do the things that they do. Similarly, Carl Rodgers later added that for a person to grow , they need an environment that provides them with genuineness, acceptance, and empathy (McLeod, Carl Rogers). In Maslow s hierarchy of needs one cannot get to the top without first starting from the bottom and working upwards through each level. As can be seen in the diagram on page 2, from the bottom up Maslow states that physiological needs must be met, then safety, love, esteem, and self actualization. The key is ... • 22. Herzberg s Theory Of Employee Retention Employee retention refers to the ability of an organization to retain its employees. Employee retention can be represented by a simple statistic (for example, a retention rate of 80% usually indicates that an organization kept 80% of its employees in a given period). However, many consider employee retention as relating to the efforts by which employers attempt to retain employees in their workforce. In this sense, retention becomes the strategies rather than the outcome. A distinction should be drawn between low performing employees and top performers, and efforts to retain employees should be targeted at valuable, contributing employees. Employee turnover is a symptom of deeper issues that have not been resolved, which may include low employee morale, absence of a clear career path, lack of recognition, poor employee manager relationships or many other issues. A lack of satisfaction and commitment to the organization can also cause an employee to withdraw and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The theories have overlap, but the fundamental nature of each model differs. While Maslow s Hierarchy implies the addition or removal of the same need stimuli will enhance or detract from the employee s satisfaction, Herzberg s findings indicate that factors garnering job satisfaction are separate from factors leading to poor job satisfaction and employee turnover. Herzberg s system of needs is segmented into motivators and hygiene factors. Like Maslow s Hierarchy, motivators are often unexpected bonuses that foster the desire to excel. Hygiene factors include expected conditions that if missing will create dissatisfaction. Examples of hygiene factors include bathrooms, lighting, and the appropriate tools for a given job. Employers must utilize positive reinforcement methods while maintaining expected hygiene factors to maximize employee satisfaction and retention (Breaugh, J., and Mary S. ... Staring up from the page are the words Ethnicity: (Choose One) followed by a series of boxes next to words such as White , Black , Asian , etc. When did the colors White and Black , a singular phenotypic characteristic, come to define an entire race? This perception of color stems from colonial times when white Euro colonizers imposed their self righteous attitudes of white supremacy on their newly acquired lands. The Church began to pray on the fact that the common people believed that through their (the church) words they (the people) were being justified. Lindberg states, The word of absolution is rather a verbal act, which first creates a relationship 0 between God in whose name it is spoken, and the person to whom it is spoken and who believes the promise. • 28. Similarities Between The Balloon And The Red Balloon GEORGETA HARPAD ESL 101 JOBST Love and Friendship Stopping for a few seconds to admire a flower, an insect, a phenomenon of nature, an architecture, etc., in days full of worries, have become memorable. Also, all these seconds sent me every time into a wonderful world, just like Confucius said, Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it . The short films The Balloon directed by Martynas Zaremba and The Red Balloon directed by Albert Lamorisse have the plot people s reaction for a few seconds at sight of a black balloon. The Balloon film submits a series of reactions from various people in the city caused by a simple black balloon with no intended meaning. The balloon starts to appear above the city one night while people were sleeping. The Red Balloon , too shows an emotional story of friendship between a boy called Pascal, and his red balloon. The writer and director Lamorisse succeeds through fiction to combine reality, the wonder, and the magic of this friendship. In both short films, the main focus is a floating balloon, but I believe that their differences are more striking than their similarities. Both films The Balloon and The Red Balloon have a similar high point. In my opinion The Balloon high point is that when the balloon appears on a street where a bad boy with a knife in his hand is ready to commit an act of violence. The presence of the balloon in that area stops the bad boy to commit it. Moreover, the bad boy looks his way to sky to admire the balloon for a few seconds. Likewise, the balloon from Lamorisse s film avoid an act of violence. For example, a gang of older kids chases Pascal around city, determined to steal and destroy his balloon. The red balloon performs a miracle, it saves little Pascal from that chase. It sacrifices itself and lets itself tortured with stones to save Pascal s life. Furthermore, the red balloon dies for this cause. However, in three distinct ways, The Balloon and The Red Balloon films are almost opposites. First of all, their score is very different. The Balloon film sound source is the song with lyrics titled Time to Leave of the band Suicide DJs. The lyrics can provide depth, powerful to the song, and make the audience to ... In this context, I find it necessary to give some definitions of related vocabulary in this field. Plain text or PT is the original message that we need to send. Usually we do not want others to be able to know our original message. Cipher text or CT is the encrypted plain text which is not readable for others. Cryptography (literally means secret writing) is the science encompassing the principles and methods of transforming a PT message into a CT one, and then retransforming that message back to its original form. cryptanalysis the study of principles and methods of transforming a CT message back into a PT message without knowledge of the key. • 34. The Comics As New Form Of Communication Reenvisioning Comics as New Form of Communication It is a truth universally acknowledged that as man has evolved into a more complex being, the appearance of pictures has gradually been replaced by words. As children mature, they are often encouraged to read lengthy novels as opposed to comics, which are deemed to be childish and simple. However, this denies them the potential that comics can offer in terms of communication and creativity. In his graphic essay, Show and Tell, comic artist Scott McCloud encourages the youth to utilize the benefits comics offer as a new form of expression. By presenting examples of how words and pictures can be harmoniously used and by identifying elements of comics that can enhance communication, McCloud is able to successfully argue for the importance of comics as new mediums for literature and creative expression. In addition, Hillary Chute s essay, Comics as Literature? Reading Graphic Narrative, further elaborates on the unique characteristics of comics that can amplify expression, such as manipulating temporality. Furthermore, Why Teach with Comics by Jennifer Haines illustrates how comics can be used to widen the potential audience of writer and how they can improve the way people learn.
