Interpretation of seismic data recorded by earthquake seismographs and that obtained
in seismic reflection surveys conducted in the search for hydrocarbons presents a
great challenge. The challenge lies in constructing appropriate models of the
subsurface to extract as many properties of the subsurface rocks as possible and then
solving the associated forward modeling problem followed by design of suitable
inversion methods to extract the desired information. Simple models do not involve
very complex mathematics but yield only limited information about the subsurface.
The degree of mathematical sophistication increases with more realistic models of
subsurface rocks.
Simple models of subsurface assume rocks to be homogeneous, isotropic and
perfectly elastic. Rocks actually encountered in the subsurface do not exhibit any of
these ideal characteristics. Rocks consist of a number of minerals with varying
properties and grain sizes leading to point to point variation of their physical
properties thus exhibiting a high degree of inhomogeneity.

a storyteller myself, I always try my best to utilize the many different approaches to

to retell them myself. Most of the time I usually just talk about them. But once in
awhile, I like to use what I think is the most powerful form of storytelling, music.

Ceremonies In Australian Aboriginal Culture
In Australian Aboriginal people s culture ceremonies play a very important role to
this day. Ceremonies (or rituals) are still performed in Australia in order to ensure
plentiful plant supply and animal supply for food. The dances contrast in different
regions and territories, and they are a very important part of education for the youth.
Some ceremonies for the youth ages of 10 16 were a rite of passage because the
rituals would represent a point of transition from childhood to adulthood. Most of
these ceremonies include a combination of song, dance, rituals, and body decoration
and costume. The Elders would organize and run the rituals and ceremonies that were
designed to teach spiritual beliefs and survival skills. Marriage ceremonies included
the Aboriginal people in body paint and they would wear traditional headdresses....
The ceremonial dresses can vary from region to region but usually includes body
paint, ornamental coverings, and brightly colored feathers. The body decoration is
said to be related to kin and other relationships. Some of the Australian groups hold
their dances secret and sacred. Also, gender was very important in some of the
ceremonies, men and women would have separate ceremonial traditions. Many of
their ceremonies took place on stages so it could be a part of a longer process
lasting over many years. Ceremonies around death would vary, depending on the
person and the group, they could go on for months or even years. Aboriginal
people would perform funeral ceremonies because the death of a person can be
very important. The people would paint themselves white and they would cut or
wound their own bodies to show their sorrow for the loss of the loved one. The
Aboriginal people conduct a series of dances, rituals, and songs to safeguard as the
spirit leaves the area and returns to its birth

The Psychoanalytic Criticism Scope Of Hamlet
Hamlet is one the best known works of Willian Shakespeare, a play that
emphasizes revenge, as one of the major topics . The main character hamlet is
driven by all of this revenge matter , and ends up physically killing 2 people,
Claudius and Polonius, as well as indirectly causing the deaths of 5 other characters
throughout the play. It is a Play that leaves us with uncertainty and doubts , we can

Examining Claims on another lever, one finds messages speaking out against the
portrayal of a good woman in Puerto Rican societies. Women are expected to
sacrifice every aspect of their own lives for their husbands and children. The
Grandmother accepted her role in society, but always had dreams of claiming her
