This document discusses peer and self-assessment of collaborative work supported by wikis and Google Docs. It describes an experience using these tools with pre-service teachers where students collaboratively created documents and then assessed each other's contributions. Analysis found that peer assessments of individual contributions to the collaborative documents correlated well with teacher ratings, and that qualitative criteria like contribution quality were better measures than quantitative metrics like editing frequency.
