This study examined the relationship between selected physical fitness variables (speed, agility, flexibility) and long jump performance in 20 male college long jumpers. Speed was measured by a sprint test, agility by a shuttle run test, and flexibility by the sit-and-reach test. Long jump performance was measured over three trials. Correlation analysis found significant relationships between long jump performance and speed (r=-.759), agility (r=-.839), and flexibility (r=.860), suggesting that higher levels of speed, agility, and flexibility are associated with better long jump performance. The study supports the hypothesis that physical fitness variables can predict aspects of performance in the long jump.13 14

The study explored the incidence of athlete burnout among youth, high school, and college athletes and examined the associations between competitive trait anxiety, personal control, and athlete burnout. A sample of 153 athletes completed questionnaires measuring burnout, anxiety, and perceived control. Results showed a low overall incidence of burnout. A positive relationship was found between burnout and anxiety, and a negative relationship between burnout and perceived control. Younger athletes reported lower burnout than older athletes, and women reported higher burnout than men.
Abstract
Physical fitness is important for optimal human development and performance in sports. It enables individuals to cope with physical demands and use technical and tactical skills in their sport. The study compares physical fitness components between inter-university and inter-college female football players in India. Tests were used to measure strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, agility, and other components. Results showed there were no significant differences in arm strength, speed, or endurance between groups. However, significant differences were found in abdominal strength, agility, and power between inter-university and inter-college players. The study provides useful information for coaches on developing components related to performance.

Education, Health education and Sports subjects from different colleges affiliated to Manipur University were
selected for this investigation. The Selection of the subjects was done purely on the basis of the specific purpose
of the study and had certain level of physical proficiency so that all the subjects could perform all the variable
test items of the study. After systematically analysed the data of the study it was found that the selected
influencing measurement factors has been affected the reliability of the selected physical proficiency test.

This study examined the relationship between selected physical fitness variables (speed, agility, flexibility) and long jump performance in 20 male college long jumpers. Speed was measured by a sprint test, agility by a shuttle run test, and flexibility by the sit-and-reach test. Long jump performance was measured over three trials. Correlation analysis found significant relationships between long jump performance and speed (r=-.759), agility (r=-.839), and flexibility (r=.860), suggesting that higher levels of speed, agility, and flexibility are associated with better long jump performance. The study supports the hypothesis that physical fitness variables can predict aspects of performance in the long jump.13 14

The study explored the incidence of athlete burnout among youth, high school, and college athletes and examined the associations between competitive trait anxiety, personal control, and athlete burnout. A sample of 153 athletes completed questionnaires measuring burnout, anxiety, and perceived control. Results showed a low overall incidence of burnout. A positive relationship was found between burnout and anxiety, and a negative relationship between burnout and perceived control. Younger athletes reported lower burnout than older athletes, and women reported higher burnout than men.
Abstract
Physical fitness is important for optimal human development and performance in sports. It enables individuals to cope with physical demands and use technical and tactical skills in their sport. The study compares physical fitness components between inter-university and inter-college female football players in India. Tests were used to measure strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, agility, and other components. Results showed there were no significant differences in arm strength, speed, or endurance between groups. However, significant differences were found in abdominal strength, agility, and power between inter-university and inter-college players. The study provides useful information for coaches on developing components related to performance.

The aim of this study was to compare the selected physical fitness components between Bangladeshi
and Indian girls aged 7 to 9 years old. The study was conducted on 107 Indian girls and 104 Bangladeshi girls
for the comparison of selected physical fitness variables. The selected variables for the study were upper body
strength endurance (flex arm hang), agility (4x10 m. shuttle run) and cardiovascular endurance (Reduced
cooper test). T-test was used to find out the significant difference among different disciplines. It was concluded
that there was significant difference between Indian and Bangladeshi girls in strength endurance (upper body).
But the significance differences were not found on agility and cardiovascular endurance variables. Indian girls
have better agility and cardio respiratory endurance than Bangladeshi girls but Bangladeshi girls have better
upper body strength endurance than Indian girls.

was to investigate the level of physical fitness of volleyball player and football player in university level.
Methodology: For the present study 15 male volleyball players and 15 male football players were selected
randomly and they had participated in university competition in 2004 from Jadavpur University. Age group of
the subjects was 18-24 years. To find out the physical fitness APHERED Youth Physical Fitness Test were
conducted. Statistics: For comparison of various physical fitness components of volley ball players and football
player independent t-test has done and level of significance has verified at 0.05 levels. Result: Finding reveals
that muscular strength of football player (5.33 times/min. pull ups) was higher than volley ball player (4.87
times/min. pull ups), the muscular endurance of football player (39.86 times sit ups) was higher than volleyball
player (38.73 times sit ups), agility of football player (19.32 sec.) was higher than volleyball player (19.78 sec.),
explosive leg strength of football player (6.90 mts.) was higher than volleyball player (6.78 mts.), Speed of
football player (6.70 sec.) was higher than volley ball player (6.99 sec.) and also cardiovascular endurance of
football player (1.82 min.) was higher than volleyball player (1.82 min.) but the difference in agility and speed
were significant at 0.05 level. Conclusion: The physical fitness of football player was higher than the volleyball
player.
Correlation of Sergeant Jump & Squats Tests Performance of Basketballers with...
This study deals with the assessment of leg strength by sergeant jump test and squats test & its correlation with leg measurements and energy intake among young girls and boys undergoing regular basketball training (age: 10-15 yrs, n=400). Players were selected from leading basketball training clubs of Nagpur city, Maharashtra. Foot width, foot length, thigh circumference, calf circumference & ankle circumference were measured using a measuring tape. Leg strength of basketballers was evaluated by means of fitness tests such as sergeant jump test and squats test. Energy intake data was collected by 24 hour’s dietary recall method for consecutive three days. For the present study, both null hypothesis (H0) & non directional alternative hypothesis (H1) were formulated. The difference was tested at both 0.01 & 0.05 levels of significance. Correlations were derived using Pearson’s product moment coefficient of correlation. Basketballers possessed significantly wider & longer feet than standards for age & gender. Effect of age on three leg circumferences (thigh, calf & ankle) was found to be strong, with older girls & boys showed significantly (p<0.01) larger mean thigh, calf & ankle circumference than younger girls & boys. Although basketballers were regular in their daily meal timings, they failed to meet the daily requirements of energy intake. Older basketballers surpassed the younger basketballers with respect to the mean vertical distance jumped. All groups of basketballers were rated excellent for their mean performance of squats test. Leg anthropometry correlated positively with vertical jump & squats test performance of basketballers. Regular basketball training at young age should be coupled with recommended intake of energy to ensure leg strength.

This study examined the relationship between vertical jump performance and speed/agility tests in male and female collegiate soccer players. 36 NCAA Division II soccer players (20 males and 16 females) performed countermovement jumps, squat jumps, 10m and 30m sprint tests, and change of direction speed tests. Moderate to strong correlations were found between vertical jump heights and sprint/agility performance for both males and females. The results suggest power production, as measured by vertical jumps, is related to linear speed and change of direction ability in collegiate soccer players.

This study evaluated the conditioning and risk factors for medial tibial stress syndrome (MTSS, or "shin splints") in college athletes. The researchers surveyed 69 athletes about their training and administered an MTSS symptom questionnaire. They found that 9 athletes had signs of MTSS, most of whom were female. Athletes with MTSS had significantly higher average intensity of plyometric training and longer duration of cardiovascular training than those without MTSS. However, overall the study found no significant differences in training between athletes with and without MTSS. The age of the subject were ranged from 15 to 20 years according to the school and college records. Flexibility and agility ability were selected as dependent variables for the study. The present study was undertaken to find out the significant relationship of selected anthropometric variables with the volleyball playing performance. 25 university level male volleyball players from Guru Ghasidas Univertsity, Bilaspur were selected as a subject for the present study with age range between 18 to 22 years. The following anthropometric variables i.e. Height, Weight, Arm length and Leg length variables were selected for the testing the hypothesis. The playing performance was analyzed by three experts through subjective observation. Pearson’s Product Moment correlation test was employed for the present study and the level of significance was set at 0.05. The statistical test was computed by using standard statistical package SPSS 16. Analysis of the results indicated that Height and Leg length from the anthropometric variables were shown the significant relationship with the volleyball playing performance.

Background: Cellular level body components and their impact on functional performances are still unclear in sports. The present study was aimed to investigate the sports specific alterations in body composition and physiological parameters and their relationships.Methods: Three forty-five (n = 345) junior elite athletes (mean age, 16.5 ± 1.91yrs) from different sports disciplines (football, n = 97; hockey, n =110;table tennis, n = 75, and badminton, n = 63) were evaluated at the end of their preparatory phase. Ninety-three (n = 93) age-matched (mean age, 16.3 ± 1.60 yrs) sedentary boys also served as a control group. Whole body Bio-Electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) was performed using a multi-frequency analyzer= ((Maltron Bioscan 920-2, Maltron International, Rayleigh, Essex, UK). Fat-Free Mass (FFM) and Total-Body Water (TBW) were calculated using Asian based prediction equations from the manufacturer’s software. Maximal isometric hand grip & back strength, trunk fl exibility and 20-meter multistage shuttle run test (bleep test; for VO2 max) were conducted followed by standard procedure.

difference between the 3 groups (initial, mid and post test) of state level football players F test was employed at
0.05 significance level. And to determine the training effect the t test for comparison mean was employed for
two tails at the confidence level 0.05 level of significant.

shoulder and wrist elevation flexibility test for the state level football players were found to be statistically

Main Idea: Every paragraph should have one main idea. If you find that your paragraphs have more than one main idea, separate your paragraphs so that each has only one main point. The idea behind a paragraph is to introduce an idea and expand upon it. If you veer off into a new topic, begin a new paragraph.
Evidence or Examples: Your main idea needs support, either in the form of evidence that buttresses your argument or examples that explain your idea. If you don’t have any evidence or examples to support your main idea, your idea may not be strong enough to warrant a complete paragraph. In this case, reevaluate your idea and see whether you need even to keep it in the paper.
Analysis: Analysis is the heart of academic writing. While your readers want to see evidence or examples of your idea, the real “meat” of your idea is your interpretation of your evidence or examples: how you break them apart, compare them to other ideas, use them to build a persuasive case, demonstrate their strengths or weaknesses, and so on. Analysis is especially important if your evidence (E) is a quote from another author. Always follow a quote with your analysis of the quote, demonstrating how that quote helps you to make your case. If you let a quote stand on its own, then the author of that quote will have a stronger voice in your paragraph (and maybe even your paper) than you will.
Link: Links help your reader to see how your paragraphs fit together. When you end a paragraph, try to link it to something else in your paper, such as your thesis or argument, the previous paragraph or main idea, or the following paragraph. Creating links will help your reader understand the logic and organization of your paper, as well as the logic and organization of your argument or main points.

Ford Motor Company was founded by Henry Ford, an inventor and entrepreneur, on June 16, 1903, in Detroit, Michigan. The Model-T became one of the most popular vehicles because it was inexpensive. During this era, he opened a factory in Canada, making the
company a global transportation leader. His moving assembly line for manufacturing was to revolutionize the auto industry.
In July 1919, the Ford family bought out all nonfamily shareholders, making them the sole owners of the company. Ever since, all Ford Company Chairmen/CEOs have been direct descendants of Henry Ford. It is the fifth largest family-owned business in the world. Today, Ford remains one the world’s top automobile companies. In 1927, Chevrolet surpassed Ford in the number of cars sold, and a rivalry continued for the next 100 years. The Ford Focus was the world’s bestselling automobile in 2013.
The Ford Company mission also known as the vision statement is “People working together as a lean, global enterprise to make people’s lives better through automotive and
mobility leadership.” Today, Bill Ford is Executive Chairman; under his leadership, the company was named the Best Global Green Brand among all companies in the world in 2014, and one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for the eighth year in a row in March 2017.
In 2017, Mark Fields was forced out as CEO, after a 40 percent drop in share price over the past three years. Chairman Bill Ford immediately appointed Jim Hackett to replace him. Prior to this appointment, Hackett served as Chairman of the Ford Smart Mobility LLC subsidiary. Hackett’s growth strategy is to take the carmaker from conventional production to new kinds of vehicles and new advanced manufacturing processes that include ridesharing and
autonomous vehicles. His strategy is to move from a traditional car company to a more flexible and technologically advanced mobility company.
Hackett’s management strategy is to cut costs, focus on trucks and SUVs, and move some manufacturing, including the Ford Focus, to China. Ford will cut internal combustion

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
