The EAGLE(Easily Applicable Graphical Layout Editor) software is
used for PCB designing. This PCB design software which use to draw circuit
schematic and a board lay out to design PCB. The software is very popular
among students and professionals. The reason behind this is EAGLE comes with
extensive part libraries which includes ready to use electronic parts. EAGLE is
capable to design from simple Single layer to complex Multi-layer PCB.

1.Preparation of Layout
Layoutis a conducting line between the various components on the PCB
as per the circuit diagram and physical dimensions of the components. The
process of drawing the rough layout on the paper is called Art working. The
artwork can also be prepared on transparent paper with the self-adhesive tapes
and pads are available in different ranges or dimensions in mm.

2.Screen Printing
Here screen-printingmethod is used for transforming layout on copper
clad. In this method PCB printout is placed on copper clad and heat is applied so
that ink from printout melts and transfer on copper clad.

3.Etching of PCB
Theprocess of removing the unprotected or unprinted area of copper
from the board is called Etching. Here the most common etching solution Ferric
Chloride is used. In this process the PCB is dipped in the etching solution. After
few hours we get only the conducting patterns because the unprotected Copper is
dissolved in the etching.

4.Drilling
After the etchingprocess drilling is done. For the drilling a motor and the
drill bit is required we required a drill bit of 0.8 mm diameter and 1 mm diameter
size. Drill bit is used according to the terminal diameters of the components. . Drill
should be done vertically PCB at appropriate place only.
6.Soldering of components
Aftermounting components on PCB, we soldered components pin on
PCB with the help of soldering iron and soldering metal.

Problem Statement :
Title:Etching machine related problem
Detail Problem Definition: Speed of the motor which is
used in etching machine is slow. Due to this it taking more
time for the etching process. For reducing the required time
for this process we can replace the motor which having high
power or speed.
