Teachers will create their own podcasting blogs to host podcasts they create on various subjects using tools like Keynote, PowerPoint and iMovie. The podcasts can be accessed outside the classroom by parents, students and the community to provide feedback and comments. Teachers will setup and maintain the podcast blogs, adding content over time, and have other teachers and peers review and provide feedback on drafts for critique and revision before making the podcasts public exhibitions online.

The history of Crohn's disease is discussed, noting it was first described in 1632 but wasn't formally named until 1960.

This allows them to focus on specific topics and on their knowledge construction. Built-in feedback tools allow teacher-to-student and peer-to-peer commentary. Though blogs can serve as e-portfolios, this project focused on writing concepts, publishing practices, intellectual property and digital design as a learning portfolio. This project will be incorporated into program competencies for students as reflective practitioners in addition to an established e-portfolio program.
