This document contains three data flow diagrams that model a payroll process: 1) A context diagram showing external entities such as employees and government agencies interacting with the payroll processing system. 2) A physical diagram displaying the flow of time card data, payroll changes, and tax rates between internal departments. 3) A logical diagram breaking down the six main steps in payroll processing - updating employee files, processing hours worked, pay checks, reports, and paying taxes.
