OBJECTIVES 
(Update and store all staff financial record in the organisation) 
 Keep record of overtime 
 Keep record of loan/advance pay 
 Enable both branch to update staff record simultaneously 
 Enable both administrators to search and view particular staff record 
 Enable the main branch administrator to add or delete staff by using staff ID 
 Enable the administrator to pay staff salary at the end of the month by clicking 
“pay salary button”
Project Overview 
 The proposed Payroll Management System (PMS) is a computerized 
technique that will be used to calculate the sum of all financial 
records of salaries for employee, wages, bonuses and deductions. 
 The targets of the proposed system is to improve the existing 
system's services, in order to: Increase employer and employee 
satisfaction, Provide quality & create a controlled information 
management environment. 
AIMS 
 We aim to ensure that all staff are paid accurately in both KAZAURE 
and KANO branch respectively, and to successfully deliver the new 
HR/Payroll system successfully and to keep up with “business as 
usual” and furthermore to be able to provide a complete package 
which can be tailored to either a small newer business or a larger 
more complex organization.

Business Requirements 
 The system should be easy to use and should provide accurate result 
 The system should be able to store & update staff record frequently & accurately 
 The system should provide a one click button that will display all staff financial record 
 The system should provide a search box for administrators to search for a particular staff details 
 The system should allow the main branch administrator to add or delete a particular staff using his ID 
 The system should be able to subtract loan from staff basic salary and add overtime and finally pay staff 
salary at the end of every month. 
Interface Requirements 
A good interface design should have: Ease of use, User-friendliness, Maintainability, uniformity and Security. 
Security Requirements 
Staff record should record be kept confidential, no staff or unauthorized person should have access to the 
system . 
Procedure of using Username and password is fully adopted in this system.
Feature Upgrade 
 Most Feature Upgrade will originate from the management team of the 
organisation. 
However; 
After reviewing my work these are some of the improvement I wish to develop: 
 Dynamic pay salary button 
 Dynamic Income and expenditure breakdown 
 Employee photograph when ID inserted
Difficulties Face 
PROBLEM FACE 
 Problems faced when developing the system was; making addition & 
subtraction to acquire accurate result. 
 And the problem with browser compatibility.
Lesson Learned 
 Application of suitable methodology to system development 
 Ability to analyze a business requirement both from human and a 
technical perspective. 
 More functions in PHP.
