1. Form of the past simple subject verb in the past objects/ adverbials I They Visited went My grandparents To the cinema AFFIRMATIVE
Regular verbs You have to add  -ed  to the verb
e.g.:  work   worked
All the persons are the same.  No -s  in the 3 rd  person singular
e.g.: she  opened  the door
Regular Verbs Verbs which finish in  -e  only take   -d
e.g :  they live d  in Paris
If the verb finishes in  consonant + y ,  the -y becomes an  -i  and we add  -ed
e.g: he stud ied  a ot for his Maths test
