PASSPORT
 A passport is a travel document, usually
issued by a country's government to its
citizens, that certifies the identity and
nationality of its holder primarily for the
purpose of international travel.
TYPES OF PASSPORTS
 Ordinary passport
 Diplomatic passport
 Official/service passport
 Emergency passport
 Family passport
 Collective passport
Ordinary passport
 The most common form of passport, issued
to individual citizens and other nationals
Diplomatic passport
 Issued to diplomats of a country and their
accompanying dependents for official
international travel and residence.
Official/Service passport
 Issued to government employees for work-
related travel, and their accompanying
dependents.
Emergency passport
 Issued to persons whose passports were lost
or stolen without time to obtain a replacement.
 These passports are intended for very short
time durations
Family passport
 Issued to an entire family. There is one
passport holder, who may travel alone or with
other family members included in the
passport.
 A family member who is not the passport
holder cannot use the passport for travel
without the passport holder.
Collective passport
Issued to defined groups for travel together to
particular destinations, such as a group of
school children on a school trip.
Visa
 A visa is a conditional authorization granted
by a territory to a foreigner, allowing them to
enter, remain within, or to leave that territory.
