• Education for sustainable living is practical 
holistic oriented to future needs and challenges. It 
focuses on the development of core life skillls 
needed for all ages, it allows every human being to 
acquire knowledge, skills, attitude and values 
necessary to shape a sustainable future. 
• It requires teaching and learning methods that 
motivated and empower learners to change there 
behavior and take action for sustainable 
development.
