SALT is a diversified farming system which can be considered agroforestry since rows of permanent shrubs like coffee, cacao, citrus and other fruit trees are dispersed throughout the farm plot.
The strips not occupied by permanent crops, however, are planted alternately to cereals (corn, upland rice, sorghum, etc.) or other crops (sweet potato, melon, pineapple, castor bean, etc.) and legumes (soybean, mung bean, peanut, etc.).
Organic Fertilizer for Sustainable Agriculture
How to attain good crop growth is one of the major considerations in organic farming. Farmers usually depend on available commercial preparations, which are costly. Besides, the availability of supply and the manner by which these are prepared are uncertain.
To address this problem, farmers can produce their own liquid farm inputs. Raw materials needed can easily be found. The procedure is simple and easy to follow, and the production cost is very minimal.
Cleaning refers to chlorine washing of the banana fruit for the removal of undesirable material including latex, chemicals, adhering soil particles along with the microorganisms carried by the soil.
Sorting in banana would refer to removal of overripe, injured, bruised, rotten, diseased, infected and cut fruits.
Grading in banana fruit would refer to categorization of fruits based on number & size of fingers in each hand.
Fruits play a vital role in human nutrition as well as generate high income to the growers. Pre-harvest and post-harvest factors have a great effect on the postharvest quality of fruits. The combination of these factors includes genetic, environmental, cultural practices, irrigation, packaging, pre-cooling, storage, transportations, etc. In this paper, we provide a review of studies on how pre-harvest and post-harvest factors influence the post quality of fruits. The influence of pre-harvest and post-harvest factors can be controlled by various cultural practices, use of certain chemicals and high tech recent management practices.
Effect of Natural Farming Inputs as Nutrient Source Applied at Different Leve...Innspub Net
Nutrient solution concentration is one of the most practical and effective ways of controlling and improving the yield and nutritional quality of crops for human consumption. The study was conducted to determine the effect of natural farming inputs as nutrient source applied at different levels on hydroponically grown lettuce. It was conducted at Cagayan State University – Piat Campus from September to October 2019. The Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four replications was used to test the following treatments: T1–25ml SNAP solution (Control), T2-5grams Master Blend (Control), T3–10ml SNAP+5ml FFJ+5ml FPJ+15ml KAA, T4-10ml SNAP+5ml FFJ+5ml FPJ+15ml KAA, T5–10ml SNAP+5ml FFJ+5ml FPJ+20ml KAA, T6–10ml SNAP+5ml FFJ+5ml FPJ+20ml FAA, T7–20ml KAA and 20ml FAA. The plants are grown in T1 (SNAP solution) consistently produced the tallest, number of leaves, longest roots and the heaviest fresh weight per plant. Master Blend can also be used as a nutrient solution for hydroponics since they are not significantly different from each other. Plants in T7 applied with 20ml KAA and 20ml FAA can also be used as a nutrient solution. However, only there was a delay of one week in maturity which is 37 days as compared with commercial (SNAP and Master Blend) having 30 days maturity. In the absence of SNAP solution and master blend, the fermented Fish Amino Acid (FAA) and Kuhol Amino Acid (KAA) as organic is a potential culture media for hydroponically lettuce production.

www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.

Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.

Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Organic Fertilizer 1 | Fish Amino Acid
1.
2. F
ish Amino Acid or (FAA )is made from spoiled fish and fish trash such as bones,
head, internal organs and skin with crude sugar; juice of the fish is extracted and
gets fermented after storing for a 30-day period. FAA contains nitrogen (90%) and
phosphorous (2.5%).
Choosing the materials for FAA
You must choose materials that are:
not fit for human consumption►►
already considered waste►►
not contaminated with chemicals►►
free or purchased at low cost►►
Materials needed for making FAA
The main ingredients are spoiled fish and fish trash such as skin, bones, head and1.
internal organs.
Use either crude sugar or molasses or whichever is available or can be purchased at2.
lower cost.
Ceramic pot or plastic pail, basin, wooden laddle, cloth for cover, string, marking pen,3.
kitchen knife, chopping board, and glass jar for storage are also needed.
Steps in Making FAA
Collect materials from the marketplace, fish processing plant or from the fish port.
Frequency of collection depends upon the volume of your production.
Chop the materials into small pieces so that the juice can be easily extracted.
Put 3 kg chopped materials in a basin, add 1 kg crude sugar or molasses, then mix
thoroughly using a wooden laddle. Make sure that all fish parts are coated with sugar
so that the juice can be extracted easily.
3. Pour the mixture in a glass jar or plastic pail, cover with cloth and secure with a string.
Collect the fermented extract and preserve in a colored glass jar. Cover the jar with paper and store in a cool
dark place.
Cover the pot or pail with cloth or paper and secure with a string. Paper or cloth is
used as cover to allow some air to get inside the pot and for the gas that is being
produced during fermentation to escape.
On the cover, write the date of processing and the expected date of harvest.
Store the container with the mixture for 4 weeks in a cool dry shady place. Make
sure that the storage area is not infested with cockroaches or mice because
they might feed on the mixture and contaminate the extract. The mixture may be
appealing to the house pets so make sure that it is properly secured. In a month’s
time, the fermented extract is ready.
4. Uses and rates of application of FAA
As source of nitrogen – use as foliar spray during the vegetative stage at the rate of 1 tsp/liter of water or can be►►
applied directly to the soil to hasten microbial activities.
You can apply to the compost heap as energy source for the soil microorganism to hasten decomposition►►
Advantages of
Producing FAA
The raw materials are always available.1.
You can make as many FAA because the materials are always available.2.
You can produce at minimal cost since these materials can be free or can be purchased at low cost.3.
You will have an adequate supply at the time of your need.4.
The step by step procedure is very simple and easy to follow.5.
You will have a control over the quality and quantity of the product.6.
Advantages of using FAA
FAA is safe to use and will not pose danger to the user’s health even if accidentally ingested.1.
FAA is a cheap source of nitrogen for the plants and for the soil microorganisms.2.
Since the nutrient content of FAA is slowly released, it provides a continuous supply of nutrient to the plants in3.
