This document provides instructions for generating UPC barcodes from the GS1 database in 5 steps: 1) Access the GS1 website and log in, 2) Select an item and add details to generate a GS1 Company Prefix, 3) Choose UPC barcode as the symbology and enter product details, 4) Review, submit and pay for the barcode, 5) Upon approval, the new UPC can now be used for product identification. The process allows generating up to 10 barcodes and includes a pricing guide on the GS1 website.

After you save, you can now use the UPC (GTIN-12) that located
above GS1 Company Prefix.
