This document summarizes the results of an optimal design study for the Nablus electricity network in Palestine. It analyzes the network's performance under normal and altered conditions, including increasing the voltage level from 6.6kV to 11kV. Across conditions, under voltages and low power factors were observed on some buses. Increasing the voltage level and adding capacitors improved voltages and power factors. An industrial region was proposed that would connect at 33kV and require a 16.8MVA transformer. In conclusion, the improvements led to a more efficient and stable electricity network.
