Achieve Success at the Zoning Table - International Builders' Show 2014
The developer faced challenges in getting approval for phase 2 of a 330-unit apartment development due to opposition from neighbors and the county commission. They held multiple community meetings with increasing attendance to present the project, address concerns, and make commitments and plan changes. This included meetings with just residents, residents and the commissioner, and finally one-on-one meetings with HOA officials. Through an iterative process of incorporating feedback and making compromises, they were ultimately able to gain approval while treating opposition with respect.
Garfield Heights Master Plan, Public Meeting #2
The meeting provided an update on the Garfield Heights Master Plan process and presented recommendations. Community engagement efforts gathered input that informed goals in areas like transportation, environment, and economic development. Recommendations included strategies for the whole community as well as targeted actions for focus areas. Feedback was sought on the recommendations through an online survey to refine the plan. The next steps will finalize recommendations, report on engagement, and identify implementation priorities.

Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.
Building Production Ready Search Pipelines with Spark and Milvus
Spark is the widely used ETL tool for processing, indexing and ingesting data to serving stack for search. Milvus is the production-ready open-source vector database. In this talk we will show how to use Spark to process unstructured data to extract vector representations, and push the vectors to Milvus vector database for search serving.
