Open enrollment allows anyone to take courses with few requirements and reduced or no costs, and can earn certificates or microcredentials. Open learning includes MOOCs that offer self-paced, free online courses and resources. Open educational resources are teaching materials that can be freely used and shared online. Open pedagogy requires no registration and organizes learning around universal concepts, with participants contributing to curated resources and discussions. Open research invites communities to provide feedback on shared works through open forums and collaborative tools.
