This document discusses a blended learning format for problem analysis courses delivered by Delft University of Technology. It provides statistics showing higher passing rates and grades after implementing this new format. A survey found students found the format stimulating and motivating. The blended format includes situational sketches, explanations with animations, examples from experts, assignments, and potential pitfalls. It allows students to work independently but also cooperate in groups. Former students were involved in designing, building, and testing the new courses. The conclusion discusses maintaining quality, cross-fertilization, and efficiency in campus courses, online courses, and MOOCs.
