Supplies Binder  Pencils Highlighters Colored Pencils Textbook Workbook ***These must be with you every day to avoid penalty to your participation grade!***
Participation Grade Each six weeks, you begin with a grade of 100/A+! 10 pts deducted each time you come to class without your binder, book, pencil, etc. Points also deducted for sleeping, gum chewing, and other minor infractions. EASY A!!!!!!!!
Grading Tests:  100 points Participation:  100 points Projects:  100 points Homework:  10 points Quizzes and other miscellaneous assignments: vary
Bonus Work Current Events Worth 3 points. May turn in 1 a week for a total of 18 points per six weeks. Must share with the class and tell how the event relates to science. Other bonus activities may be given on tests or Edline at the teacher’s discretion.
Tests Tests usually include a variety of problems:  multiple choice, T/F, completion, open response, etc. 5 points deducted for no name. If absent on the day of the test, test must be completed upon your return.  A zero will be put in Grade-quick until the assignment is made up. Cheating WILL result in the grade of zero.
Projects On average we will complete a project a six weeks.  This is usually worth 100 points unless you are otherwise notified. Must be turned in on due date.  10 points will be deducted for every day a project is late. After 5 days, the student will receive  a zero.
Classroom Rules ALWAYS be prepared for class! Be in your assigned seat and ready to work when the tardy bell rings. Speak when it is your turn.  LISTEN when it is not. Respect yourself, others, and all school property. Complete class work and missed work on time!
