What Is An Operating System Essay
Operating Systems What is an operating system The operating system is responsible for controlling all
of the tasks and processes. Operating systems consists of a collection of programs, with each having a
specific task allocated to it. These programs are designed to make the computer system run as
efficiently as possible. The most commonly used operating systems are Mac OS, Windows and Linux.
What Operating systems do · Allow users to interact with the machine (e.g. selecting programs). ·
Allocate space in memory for programs. · Run programs (transfer instructions for memory to
processor then executing them). · Manage the storing of data. · Management of input/output devices.
Difference Operating Systems Windows Windows is the most widely used Operating System in the
world, It s initial introduction was in 1981 as a command line interface; the GUI (graphical user
interface) was introduced in 1985 and has seen 26 different versions. Mac OS In 1984 Apple released
its first OS, which became known as Mac OS as of 1997. The original OS was a fork of Apples older
OS Lisa which was, at the time, extremely advanced. Linux Linux began in 1991 as a personal project
by Lines Torvalds, he set out to create a new, free Operating System. Since then it has grown from an
OS containing a few C files to having over 18 million lines of source code and available under the

Chipotle Marketing Plan
Written Assignment Chipotle Marketing Plan International Marketing BUS 403 February 11, 2015
Introduction: | Chipotle first opened in Denver in 1993 with a simple idea behind it, food served fast
didn t have to be fast food experience , (Chipotle Mexican Grill, 2015). Prior to CEO Steve Ellis
opening the restaurant chain, he himself was a chef. Since its creation, Chipotle has become a
phenomenon in the restaurant industry and has experienced tremendous growth since it went public in
2006 with over 1,600 restaurants in Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, and France, with the majority
located in the United States (Chipotle Mexican Grill, 2015). . The company focus is on using high
quality raw ingredients, (Chipotle Mexican ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Chipotle s main focus in marketing is in the United States but follows the same model in the
international market. It has never been Chipotles intention to put its stamp on a bunch of restaurants
around the world , but their vision as a company is to change the way people think about and eat fast
food, which they feel the other guys are not focusing on, (Van Tan, n.d.). With this mindset, Chipotle
believes there s certainly room for them to build that position in other countries as it has been
successful in the U.S., (Van Tan, n.d.). In the London market Chipotle followed the same model as in
the United States about the brand and its grassroots marketing efforts to the streamlined menu to the
assembly line operations, (Van Tan, n.d.). Chipotle executives views are that it doesn t need to be any
different going into Europe as it will all be the same. Chipotle is about simplicity, after all, (Van Tan,
n.d.). From the start the London store focused on building management potential in its own
employees. Management and personnel from the company travelled to London to open and train new
Chipotle team members how to do things the Chipotle way, (Van Tan, n.d.). Chipotle strives to
promote from within and with 80% of management staff coming from internal sources this is obvious,
(Van Tan, n.d.). Developing their own people and moving them to manage other

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Franchising
Introduction
At present concept of franchising and management agreements appears to be common in business,
because these agreements can benefit both sides. Franchising is one of the most frequently used and
wide spread tool for the business development all over the world. This tool contributes to the rapid
extension of the different networks of numerous companies, which without its development would
have no such chance of success. The most successful franchises connected with the everyday human

The first reason is that contract management significantly increases financial value. In case contracts
are managed improperly, the income is constantly decreased. Therefore, if an organization strives to
research, execute and approve contracts more efficiently, it will strengthen financial performance. At
present Contract management allows to reduce operating costs. At present such things as ineffective
negotiations, inappropriate contracts extremely slow down business processes, which cause an impact
on the final result. Moreover, every extra day causes the destruction of business and reduction the
company s income. Consequently, Contract management preserves business and decreases operating
costs. In addition, business always involves different risks which extremely difficult to except.
However, due to contract management all compliance risks are reduced successfully. Eventually,

Differences Between Formalist And Functionalist Stylistics
The Comparison and Contrast between Formalist and Functionalist Stylistics There are several
differences way how formalist and functionalist analyze a text. The formalists consist of Roman
Jakobson s poetic function of language, Viktor Shklovsky s defamiliarisation and Vladimir Propp s the
morphology of the folktale. Besides, the functionalist consists of Halliday with his tripartite functions
(ideational, interpersonal, and textual). Both differences will explain below. The first part will flesh
out about formalist stylistics. Russian Formalism is known at the beginning of the twentieth century as
the great impact on the contemporary stylistics. There are two famous schools which claim founding
the Russian formalism movement. They are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Functionalist is not only concerning the text, but it is also interested in the role that context play in the
process of meaning making. So, there are gradual movements from text to context, from form to
function, from semantics to pragmatics and from logic to rhetoric. In Halliday in Routledge (2014:46),
Halliday observes that language has tripartite function which can be broken down into three
interconnecting metafunctions . They are ideational (to express ideas and experience (clause as
representation)), interpersonal (to mediate in the establishment of social relationship(clause as
exchange)), textual (to provide the formal properties of language(clause as message)). These three
metafunctions are good when these are used all of the in any study of text. Cohesion is the part of
textual metafunction which refers to the way in which sentences are linked together in order to make
sense. There are several cohesion devices which are able to tie together semantically such as
conjunction, ellipsis, substitution and reference. These features of cohesion have function to cohere
between the message and the language so that the readers are not

Causes Of Racism In Britain
Another, racist event that is happening in Britain is towards the polish community that live there
(Strybel, 2016). According to Strybel (2016), a man was killed and another three people resulted
injured this happened in attacks that took place in the town of Harlow, in the southeastern part of
England. There also have been other attacks that target polish people just because they are seen
speaking in polish and graffiti that says polish people need to go back home (Strybel, 2016). The most
common types of racism that polish people face in the United Kingdom are violence, hate crimes,
ethnicity, and not being a citizen (Strybel, 2016). In addition, Strybel (2016) states that although the
prime minister, Teresa May regrets the attacks that are occurring in the United Kingdom towards and
has said that authorities would secure the environment for polish people, this has not happened and it
is predicted that polish people might return home if this is keeps continuing. This is one of the
consequences that racism can have, polish people might return back home because they feel like they
do not belong and they are not welcomed.
Although, Britain has racist events that occur there are also some anti racist acts that are happening as
well. Andrews (2016), states that the Black Supplementary School Movement was created as a form of
anti racism which was funded by multiculturalism. The school which is in Britain, shows students
resistance towards racist acts and connect people who are

How To Prevent Distracted Driving Essay
When it comes to someone getting behind a wheel it s a big responsibility, you are not a passenger that
could be doing different stuff you are now carrying with several lives and people are waiting for you
at home. Many things cross our minds exactly when we are about to drive, but we need to learn how
to ignore them and worry about getting where we supposed to be. Nowadays many accidents that
occur on roads are caused by distracting driving and it seems easy to choose to do something such as:
texting, eating or drinking, talking to passenger s etcetera. The best way to end distracted driving is to
educate all Americans about the danger it poses Not everyone realizes the danger it is being distracted
while driving, but every distraction cause at least once to take our eyes off the road.
As shown, a woman behind the wheel is distracted by three different things: using her phone, putting

One of the most impactful inventions was the development of the telegram. The first telegram was
sent in May 24th, 1844 from the U.S. Capital to Baltimore. This telegram was sent by Samuel F.B.
Morse and the message said What hath God wrought? The significance of the telegraph is that it
completely branches out new possibilities for communication. For the most part, there was only the
existence of local businesses because distance was a problem. However, the telegraph would allow for
larger businesses to strive because of the now long distance communication. This alone greatly
progresses the industrial industry because products could now be ordered from long distances and
communications could be made between buildings farther away under the same company. This gave
rise to the interstate companies that years later would evolve into international companies. In addition
to this, the telegram gave the U.S. an advantage in combat that other countries did not yet have access
to. This made communication fast and efficient in the heat of battle, which made the U.S. a more
powerful player. Moreover, the invention of the telegraph helped lean the American character towards

Experience Of A Blind Man In Raymond Carver s Cathedral
The Experience of a Blind Man
In the short story Cathedral by Raymond Carver, the narrator known as the husband has an encounter
with one of his wife s lifelong friends Robert. Robert is a blind man that plays an integral roll in the
climax of this story when the narrator has a life changing experience with Robert and seeing life
through the eyes of a blind man. In this essay, we will delve into the various character aspects of the
husband, and Robert. We will also discuss the relationship, and dynamic between these two characters
as well as how they change throughout the story.

Up until this point, the narrator seems appear as more of an anti hero or negative lead character, this is
the beginning of the turning point for the husband s perspective. Back in the first part the husband
eludes to Roberts eyes as creepy if you looked close, there was something different about them. Too
much white in the iris, for one thing, and the pupils seemed to move around in the sockets without his
knowing it or being able to stop it. Creepy. (Carver, 2013). Based on this quote we can really see, that
the narrator at this point bases a lot of his perception on what he sees, and he has trouble with opening
his mind. Robert on the other hand, is not at all what the narrator expects He wore brown slacks,
brown shoes, a light brown shirt, a tie, a sports coat. Spiffy. He also had this full beard. But he didn t
use a cane and he didn t wear dark glasses. I d always thought dark glasses were a must for the blind.
Fact was, I wished he had a pair. At first glance, his eyes looked like anyone else s eyes. (Carver,
2013). As the narrator, his wife, and Robert sit down for dinner, the narrator is mentally in awe of how
Robert seems to have no signs of trouble managing to navigate the food on his plate. The blind man
had right away located his foods, he knew just where everything was on his plate. I watched with
admiration as he used his knife and fork on the meat. He d cut two pieces of meat, fork the meat into
his mouth, and then go all out for the scalloped potatoes, the beans next, and then he d tear off a hunk
of buttered bread and eat that. He d follow this up with a big drink of milk. It didn t seem to bother
him to use his fingers once in a while, either. (Carver, 2013). After dinner the narrator, his wife and

U.s. Naval Base At Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor
On the morning of December 7, 1941, the Japanese dispatched an astonishment air assault on the U.S.
Naval Base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. After only two hours of bombarding, more than 2,400
Americans were dead, 21 boats had either been sunk or harmed, and more than 188 U.S. airplane
pulverized. The assault at Pearl Harbor so insulted Americans that the U.S. deserted its arrangement of
nonintervention and proclaimed war on Japan the accompanying day formally bringing the United
States into World War II. The Japanese were sick of arrangements with the United States. They needed
to proceed with their development inside Asia however the United States had put a greatly prohibitive
ban on Japan in the trusts of controlling Japan s hostility. Arrangements to explain their disparities
hadn t been going admirably. As opposed to offering into U.S. requests, the Japanese chose to dispatch
an astonishment assault against the United States trying to pulverize the United States maritime power
even before an authority declaration of war was given.
The Japanese honed and arranged precisely for their assault on Pearl Harbor. They knew their
arrangement was to a great degree dangerous. The likelihood of achievement depended intensely on
complete astonishment. On November 26, 1941, the Japanese assault power, driven by Vice Admiral
Chuichi Nagumo, left Etorofu Island in the Kurils (spotted upper east of Japan) and started its 3,000

Portier describes tradition as a language, an act, or even an historical text handed to us by a family

tradition, defines who someone is best by dialogue because tradition can give enough illustration of

us question and answer the possibilities of human existence and experience through the problems and

who they are in a particular place and time and in a particular network of relations to people in family,
community, nation, and church . (19) Her time happens to be in her teenage years. The courageous
choice to wear a Hijab in public shocks not only her parents, friends but teachers as well. In the book,

shared language and culture Portier believes gives us the answers to human capabilities to overcome
feelings of hostilities perhaps. Feeling brave by this past encounter she wears the Hijab at school
where she gets mixed feelings toward it at first by her friends and also by her principal who first

Henrietta and her family have been treated poorly by the medical institution and the researchers. Dr.

Those individuals who had to have mastectomies had more issues than those who had a lumpectomy.
Latino s were more open about their sexuality their intimacy with their husband compared to whites
which could be due to age differences. Those who had Mastectomies look at it as an amputation and
that their bodies were left disfigured because to them their bodies do not look the same anymore.
Latinos place a high emphasis on the sexuality of women, so when that was taken away from them
they felt like it was a burden, while others felt empowered by the mastectomy. Mastectomies are seen
as a deviation from the idea of femininity since our cultural definition of women is having larger

other husbands left their wife because they could not deal with the change to their bodies. Dealing

Rock And Roll, Segregation, And The British Invasion Of 1964
I watched a video from the 50th anniversary presentations. The video I watched was about Rock and
Roll, Segregation, and The British Invasion of 1964. It was lectured by Dr. Christy Talbott, and she
first talked about the pre rock and roll period. The term Rock and Roll came from a song from the year
1938, that stated My baby rock and rolls me all night. Rock and Roll or also known as American
Rock, was changed completely after the British Invasion came in 1964. The invasion turned Rock and
Roll into what is known today as Rock, it made a change for the good. Musicians in the pre Rock and
Roll era, sang about current events similar as we do today. The events they sang about was
Segregation, North Vs. South inferiority and the wars that were happening at the time World War 2,
Korean War and Vietnam War. THe artists of this time consisted of The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly,
Jerry Lee Lewis, Ritchie Valens and the most famous of them all Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley s music
was called White man with an African American feel. In 1959 Motown records in Detroit, Michigan
hired an all black group called The Temptations. Their song My Girl hit number one on the billboards
in 1964. The man that hired them was Berry Gordy Jr. Berry Gordy Jr also hired all black women
groups as well, but unlike the all black male groups he dressed the women groups as white folk.

Wonder Wom The Feminist Symbol Behind The Bracelets
Wonder Woman: The Feminist Symbol Behind The Bracelets
Wonder Woman is seen as being American, but in reality she is a Greek demigod. The amazonian
superhero battles formidable Greek deities with an arsenal of weapons that were magically enhanced
by the gods of Olympus. Those weapons include classics such as a sword and shield, and also includes
a lasso a. She possesses superhuman abilities that were blessed to her by the gods and they included
Hermes, Aphrodite, Artemis, Hestia, and Demeter. Her amazonian origin creates powerful symbolism
for women everywhere and she provides women with strength. To truly understand Wonder Woman
you must know of her origin.
Created out of clay by her mother Hippolyta the queen of the Amazons Wonder Woman was given life
from the the gods of ancient Greece. She is arguably immortal due to her home on the island of
Themyscira. Themyscira is where she was born; the island has been separated from the evils of man
for thousands of years. Hippolyta named her daughter Diana, after the Roman goddess of the moon
and hunt. The Amazons original purpose was to protect man s world, but they abandoned their original
purpose and chose to live in seclusion for thousands of years. Diana disagreed with the Amazon s
decision to separate from mankind and believed that the Amazons should integrate back into man s
society, but Hippolyta believed that the Amazons have no place in man s society. However, all that

In the justice system, the verdicts are not always fair as innocent people are convicted of crimes they
did not commit. Over the years, there have been innovative ways to overturn a conviction by
providing new evidence. The lack of evidence or the coerce evidence against a subject can lead to
their wrongful conviction. Many believe that having video recordings of interrogations will prevent
the wrongful decisions, yet it is a disadvantage as the camera is focused on the offender. This is due to
the causation discovered between the focus point of the video and the final verdict in court cases.
These findings demonstrate illusory causation and how it plays out in the courtroom. Illusory
causation is the phenomenon in which one specific event ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The second stage of research consisted of three studies with different time length confessions. There
were two purposes for this stage (1) explore the possibilities to prevent camera influence and (2)
outline the issues of external validity such as the end judgment. Given several pieces of evidence, the
participants focused on the video taken to determine if the offender is guilty or not guilty. Researchers
revealed that the camera point of view will be the focus point regardless of the other evidence
provided. Also highlighted in the second stage is the probability of a guilty verdict increasing based on
the camera s focus point; the likelihood of a guilty verdict will double when the camera focuses on the
subject (Lassiter, 2001). The final stage of the research was like the last two although concentrating on
another aspect. The purpose of the stage was to focus on the mechanisms that are used in illusory
causation. The conclusion is that the causation relies on the perception of one rather than the analysis
of the footage. It was noted that the point of view of the participant will impact the way they register
the information and it will influence their judgment on the case. For example, the subjects may watch
the video over and over but the brain will only focus on the movements instead of what is said. When
it comes to the verdict, it will be based on the movements because the brain cannot recall the audio
portion (Lassiter, 2001).

I Stand Here Ironing, By Tillie Olsen And Everyday Use By...
The two short stories, I Stand Here Ironing by Tillie Olsen and Everyday Use by Alice Walker shows
two mothers being concerned about one of their daughter and question how their daughters have
turned out to be. The authors show this by using multiple symbols to convey the families relationship.
By this, the authors use the iron, quilt, and clock all to connect how each symbol shows a significant
meaning in the family.
In I Stand Here Ironing, Olsen conveys the symbolic meaning of an iron, which connects to Walker s
symbolism for the quilt in Everyday Use. Both these objects are ironically associated with a mother in
general. Furthermore, in these short stories, Olsen represents the iron as a mother s ability to smooth
out the wrinkles in her daughter s life. By this, the mother states, I stand here ironing, and what you
asked me moves tormented back and forth with the iron . In other words, she throws all her painful
emotions and guilty of not being a mother to her daughter Emily into the iron. In addition, the iron
tries to destroy these emotions that are a representation as wrinkles . Also, as the narrator is ironing
back and forth, the action is used as a flashback as where she went wrong in raising Emily. Similarly,
Walker shows how ironically a quilt is like a mother, in where both share a legacy and are also used
for comfort. In this short story, a mother tries to reconnect with her daughter through their heritage,
but later realizes that she cannot give

The maximum tenure of eligible securities issued by QIP is 60 months from date of allotment. There is
no lock in period if eligible securities are listed on a recognized stock exchange otherwise it cannot be
sold for a period of one year from date of allotment.
11. Advantages of QIP
Minimum Regulations and Procedural requirements
As compared to other placements like IPO and FPO, QIP is less cumbersome. This is because there is
no need to file pre issue document with the capital markets regulator. Approval of SEBI is also not
required. However, it is required to file a placement document with the stock exchanges which
encompasses details of the issue.
Time saving
Minimum regulations and procedural requirements make QIP one of the fastest methods of raising
funds. The best example of this is Power Trading Company (PTC India) who raised QIP issue of Rs.
500 crore subscribed in 4 hours of its opening.
Cost effective
Less procedural requirement and fast process of QIP, makes it less expensive than other methods of
raising capital.

The Psalms Function As A School Of Prayer
Introduction
For almost two thousand years, the Psalms were essential to the devotional practice of the Christian
church, teaching the believer to pray in response to the living God, a confession of praise and glory to
the Almighty God. Thus, when the contemporary church thus that she is joining a large group of
people that for nearly thirty centuries based their prayers and worship in those ancients words. In
Eugene H. Peterson s view, there is no other place where can be seen such a deeply and detailed form,
of the human dimension in the Bible history as in the Psalms.
The aim of this paper is to analyze how the Psalms should be used in the church today. For that, this
study is divided into three parts: First, the Psalms and Prayer, where will be discussed how the book of
Psalms function as a school of prayer. Second, Christians and the use of the Psalms, in this topic will
be highlighted how Christians can find Jesus in the Psalms. Finally, putting into practice is a topic that
will explain the value and the need of using the Psalm in the church.
The Psalms and Prayer
The Psalter was the school that Israel and the church appealed to learn how to pray, which along with
Isaiah was the most cited book by Jesus and the apostles in the New Testament. For the first Christians
the rules were, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms. Thus, as their Jewish
fathers listened to the Word of God through the Psalms its instructions and laments

period the US experienced a considerable expansion not only of states, but also of people under
slavery from half a million to roughly four million. Interestingly, from 1800 to 1860 slavery shifted
from northern states to mostly south ones. The reason for this shift was mainly economical since
cotton lands dominated the economy of the nation. After America gained more land due to the
Mexican War there were conflicts between northerners and southerners on whether slavery was going
to be allowed on these places. The Republican Party of 1850s As tensions between northerners and
southerners aggravated, the idea of keeping slaves out of the west spearheaded the creation of a new
political party in the north the republicans. Republicans promise was to stop the expansion of slavery
to the west, and since by the 1860s the approximate population that owned slaves was about seven
percent, it posed a serious threat to southern slaveholders. Dred Scott v Sanford

This requirement might deter new entrants.
2. Low product differentiation and economies of scale: There isn t much product differentiation at play
in the retail industry as there are well known manufacturers whose products are offered for sale, which
leaves price to compete on. Current well established retailers with thousands of stores enjoy the
economies of scale to control their cost that a new entrant might not be able to replicate after
immediately entering the industry.
3. Switching Cost: If there is anything that can go in favor of a new entrant is switching cost of the
buyer. Only loyalty buyers typically have these days is to value. If a new entrant can offer better value,
buyers can switch to the new entrant with no switching cost. Better value can only come from
sacrificing profits which might deter new entrants as a low profit margin does not promises long term
growth.
Force 2 Bargaining Power of Buyers (customers):
Companies in the retail industry operate in a high price elasticity environment as there is not much
product differentiation to leverage. Buyers face almost no switching cost if they chose a substitute
offering better value. On the contrary, large and diverse population making small purchases works in
favor of the industry. No one individual or a small group has the power to significantly impact the
industry, but overall buyers enjoy have a high bargaining power in the industry.

Do We Need Summer
Sometimes I can t wait for the weekend to come, I feel the same maybe even more when it comes too
summer. This is why so many kids need summer so they can make life long memories with their
families.
Why do you think we need summer vacation? Students can take creative classes ranging from karate
to screenwriting to relieve stress. According to Nora Huynh, when some people in high school get
lower grades on their report cards, this why we need summer vacation to relieve stress. This also
happens in college when people get low grades, there are some group activates that help boost a grade.
As well as stress can be hard on a person s life and could lead to the teen harming themselves or
others. Sometimes if you have to much homework we don t get to have as much time with our
families or our friends that is why people need less homework to help relieve stress. (Huynh). Over
summer vacation a kid s mind is open and he or she is ready for the new school year, this can help

The Humble Comma
In Pico Iyer s essay, In Praise of the Humble Comma , the author examines the importance of
punctuation in language. He specifically points out the use of the comma in writing and how it lacks
respect. Even though it is such a small thing, the comma helps convey different emotions, maintain
structure, and creates fluidity. He shows that punctuation is needed to understand a writer s meaning
and the overall message trying to be conveyed. He tries to persuade his audience to appreciate and to
understand the grace and beauty of punctuation, especially the comma. Iyer uses comparisons,
personification, metaphors, and imagery, to stress the value of punctuation.
Iyer uses different kind of comparisons to underline the necessity of punctuation. He compares the
comma to small things such as jewelry and to large thing such as God, to show the significance of it in
everyday life. Iyer implies that punctuation is the most important part of language, without actually
stating it. In first paragraph, he compares the comma to the gods, because just like them, the comma
gives and takes away breath. The gods can create humans and give them breath, but also can kill
humans and take away their breath. Iyer states, The gods, they say, ... Show more content on

1. (7 points) How are presidential election outcomes related to the performance of the economy?
Usually when the economy is doing well the incumbent party will win the election, due to low
unemployment and higher wage increases. The electorate cares about not spending tax dollars on
frivolous projects that don t enhance human lives or the environment in which they live in. An
exception would be the 2001 election when the economy was doing well with the current party, but
decided to elect the opposing party candidate.

Macroeconomics is the field of economics that studies the behavior of the economy as a whole not
certain parts. Gross National Product (GDP) the economy s total output; how it is affected by changes
in unemployment, national income, rate of growth, and price levels. Macroeconomics encompasses an

Racial Inequality In America Essay
At the time I was 20 years old. Being underage I had of course bought liquor through someone older,
and back then, due to the hurdles it took to obtain decent alcohol even a pack of Corona was regarded
as a great drink. It was the kind of days where every party was a remake of the film Project X and you
never knew who or what you would end up with at the end of the night. Needless to say, we were all
young back then and saw the world as our oyster; it was up to us to pry it open with our own hands.
As Wiz Khalifa put it, we were young, wild, and free. Looking back, it never crossed our minds that at
the end of the night we would be a lot older, controlled, and oppressed. Racial inequality is a
multidimensional problem in America. If the problem was simply minorities in America are less well
off than their white counterparts, the problem could have been solved long ago. This narrative isn t
about racial inequality, its root causes, or its solutions; yet racial inequality plays a central role in that
night s events to the point where it should be mentioned. Racial inequality is a generational, economic,
social, psychological, and every other facet of society people can analyze, type of problem. Northern
Philadelphia is a prime example of racial inequality at its worst in America. Entire swaths of blocks
consumed by poverty, drugs, and gang warfare are common in the streets of the predominately black
and hispanic North Philadelphia. The heavy police presence on some blocks

Steps Of The Plan Do Check Act ( Pdca ) Cycle
PDCA Outline
Plan
The first step of the Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) cycle is plan. The planning step of the cycle is
extremely important and crucial to the success of the project. I undertook this exact issue as a process
improvement project early on in my career and already went through the exercise of analyzing the
account activity and assigning a risk score to each and every balance sheet account. At the time, there
were 854 individual balance sheet accounts that needed reconciled. Currently this count has grown to
1,047, which means that an additional 193 accounts would need analyzed. The plan for this project
now needs to consist of cursory review of the previously assigned accounts and a more in depth
analysis of the additional 193 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is no reason to waste resources reconciling an account that is no longer being used. The next
step of 5S that is beneficial to the process is straightening. The accounts should be straightened into
broader categories, rather than looking that them individually, which saves time and is more efficient.
For instance, all cash accounts should be grouped and analyzed together, as they will be handled the
same. The work is not done when the sorting and straightening has been completed, nonetheless. The
newly sorted and straightened list should continue to be shined, another step of 5S, on a routine basis
to make sure there are no changes. As previously mentioned, the controller reserves the right to adjust
the reconciliation priority at any time. New accounts are likely to be created that will need sorted and
straightened and other accounts will also go inactive. 5S is an ongoing process and the sustainability is
one of the S s. The final S stands for standardize. The account reconciliation process should be
standardized. Standardization and uniformity in the reconciliation process and the reconciliation work
papers add to the quality of the review. It is much easier for a reviewer or auditor to check
reconciliations that are prepared in a consistent fashion.
Do
The Do step of the PDCA cycle is where the action of the project really happens. The new
reconciliation schedule is implemented during this stage. As previously mentioned some accounts will

A Critique of Today s Process of Ijtihad
A Critique of Today s Process of Ijtihad
Recent achievements in Islamic banking do not indicate an advance in the jurists interpretation of riba.
Writings on riba have been extensively concerned with the expositions of riba, but with disquisitions
about riba. Thought about riba, and any other Qur anic penetrative codes, must be a story of
movements in outlook and ever changing ideas, and developments taking place in contemporary social
sciences. Its province is destined by God, may he be exalted, in a way to be determined and re
determined in the course of time by drawing insights from different branches of human science. The
subject of riba, and other divine codes in Qur an regarding dealings and transactions is such that no
cohesive delineation of the scope can be regarded as final.
Some of needless difficulties that have arisen in a proper interpretation of riba are of linguistic origin.
The jurist s business is with words. Words are not only tools of thought, but also control it.
Accordingly, to think profitably about riba will be assisted by a sharpened awareness of possibilities
of language, not only to lead thought but also to mislead it. This paves the ground on which the
Islamic jurists adherence to their predecessors grasp of riba is questioned. This should not be deemed
a denial of the rich legacy handed down from the predecessors. A modern society cannot but build
upon the foundations laid in the past.
However, this must be carried out with due

The Law Of Demand And Demand
To run a business, the 2 most important things that people should recognise are the Law of supply and

Whether you are a farmer, manufacturer or simply person who uses a product or service, the

Different from the demand affiliation, nevertheless, the supply connection remains an aspect of period.
Time is important to supply on the grounds that suppliers must, however can t generally, answer

Gender Socialization and Gender Roles Essay
Gender socialization and gender roles have always existed in society. When analyzing gender roles,
they are not always equal or consistent when comparing cultures, however, the expectations of
females and males are often times clearly defined with a little to no common area. The Japanese
culture is an example of the defined gender roles that change over time. According to Schafer (2010),
because gender roles are society s expectations of the proper behavior, attitudes, and activities of

False Memory And False Memory
A. Introduction
This study was in the cognitive approach to psychology, which focuses on the way people process
information. It looks at how people process the information they receive and how the treatment of this
information leads to their responses. The main area of cognitive psychology being studied is memory,
which refers to processes and structures involved with storing and retrieving information. The theory
of reconstructive memory and false memory is the focus of the experiment. False memory is a mental
experience that is mistakenly taken to be a veridical representation of an event from one s personal
past (Johnson, 2001). Factors which prompt the formations of false memory are misattribution of the
original source of information.
One experiment which explained the theory of False Memory was conducted by Roediger McDermott
in 1995. The aim of the study was to replicate James Deese s observations of false memory and find
the it s existence in a free recall task. The participants were 36 undergraduate students at Rice
University. The independent variable was the addition of critical lures and random words and the
dependent variable was the participant s ability to recall the correct studied words. The results were
calculated by finding the mean probability of recall of studied words (65), and of excluded words
(.40). They concluded that categorically similar words, were recalled at the same rate as those
presented. The participant s actions agreed with these

Role Of Political Parties
The Role of Political Parties
Within the American pluralist system, parties have long maintained an important role in politics. The
goal and function of every party is to elect candidates of their label into public office. Most of their
actions revolve around this goal. It may even be said that they are responsible for movement in the
American government. Everything from informing the public, to funding election campaigns, to
developing policies plays a role in gaining more control in elected branches of government
(Functions). The two major parties dominate Congress, the presidency, state legislatures, and
governorships; it has been able to do so due to less strict policy and ability to adapt (Role).

It is the Legislative branches responsibility to, amongst other things, regulate and make laws
(Branches). The Obama Administration would like to see Congress pass gun safety legislation, such as
expanding background checks and making gun trafficking a federal crime. However, a small group in
the Senate kept this legislation from passing (Progress). The Administration is eager to enforce gun
control, while Congress seems hesitant to make laws in that regard. Without action on Congress s part,
significant changes in regard to gun control are nearly impossible. Despite the fact that the Executive
branch is taking an active part in gun control, the reality is that many are displeased with Obama s
lack of effective action. Congress failed to pass stricter background checks for purchasing guns and
discussions of the previously mentioned federal ban on assault weapons proved fruitless. Because of
this, the Executive Branch appears politically helpless, perhaps even powerless in regard to the issue

Analysis Of Disco Daze
Sidney Hook said, Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and
techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system. Mr. Fitzpatrick an experienced teacher
and Mr. Meyer a brand new teacher were both influenced by their teachers to help them realize their
passion to teach. Mr. Fitzpatrick was my U.S. History teacher my freshman year of high school and I
remembered when he taught anyone could tell how much he loved history and how every year he
brings joy to so many students by hosting Disco Daze. Disco Daze allows anyone who participates to
go back in time for a little while and truly experience what it was like living in the 70s. It was a truly
memorable experience as a student and I still look forward to it as a senior. Mr. Meyer reaches out to
students through his coaching. Many athletes look up to him and every time they are around him they
are smiling and laughing. It is his first year teaching and he already has students who look up to him
as a role model. Comparing the years of experience they have can show the similarities and
differences between how they talk about their teaching styles, their inspiration that made them decide
to be a teacher, and the memorable experiences they have had as a teacher.
David Fitzpatrick a.ka. Fitz is a history teacher at Southeast Polk High School and is in his 23rd year
teaching. Fitz was inspired to become a teacher by his pure desire to work with and help people and
kids. He definitely

learn how to apply for jobs, and take care of themselves in a home setting (Frantzen, 2016). The first
theme that I had chosen for my paper is building relationships through joint decision making and
problem solving (Rubinstein, 2014). When working at a school, especially one where different
children from the ages of kindergarten to 12th grade, also have different types of disorders. For
example, some students have Emotional or Behavioral Disorder (EBD) and some students have

The Importance Of Religion In Literature
Religion guides humans to a higher order of existence through the collective organization of beliefs,
cultural identities, and world views. Religion seeks to define the meaning of life and human existence
through historical narratives, symbols, and faith. Since the birth of religions, these have adopted a
central focus of the way people live, their lifestyle choices, and their boundaries. In doing so, religion
has been used as a preeminent theme in works of literature since the ancient world, as the greater part
of first written texts were religious stories. Throughout centuries however, writers have been adapting
religion in literature in many different ways, such as in: Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler,
Dracula by Bram Stoker, and On the Road by Langston Hughes. Religion in these literary works has
played a life changing role in the lives of its characters. In these texts, some characters accept
established religions while others reject it, instead, focusing their time on creating their own. In
Octavia Butler s Parable of the Sower, the stories heroine, Lauren Olamina, daughter of a Baptist
minister during a degenerative and apocalyptic United States. Inside of the walls of her gated
community, religion is presented as the unifying doctrine keeping everyone together in times of
excruciating chaos. However, Lauren is beginning to mature as a young woman and has begun to
question her Christian faith; and as a result, seeks to create her own religion, Earthseed.

Strength Of Tensile Strength
2.1.8.4. Tensile strength:
Lightweight and normal weight concretes have similar tensile strengths, though lightweight exhibits
greater variability. The tensile strength of normal weight concrete of equal compressive strength may
vary within a wide range depending, among other parameters, on the shape and surface texture of the
aggregate. Experimental tests indicate that the tensile strength of concrete is highly variable and
ranges from a bout 8 12% of its compressive strength. The actual value depends on the type of the test
and crack propagation pattern at failure. (Ghoneim and El Mihlmy, 2008)
(Fabian, 2010), the tensile strength of concrete is important when considering cracking. For specimens
loaded under uniaxial compression, cracking parallel to the line of action of the load implies some
influence of the tensile strength of the specimens units. Depending on the load impact, tensile strength
can be divided into flexural tensile strength, splitting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Natural Environment And The Human Race
Humans have been intervening in nature for the past 200 milleniums. The natural environment and the
human race have evolved together side by side. However, throughout the past few centuries, many
ethical questions have been brought up regarding how the human race interacts with nature. As our
factories and civilizations increase and expand, so does our footprint. One fairly recent ethical concern
is the act of hunting. Hunting has been a staple in the evolution of the human race. The harvesting of
animals has provided humans with many valuable resources necessary to survive. Alice Walker, Aldo
Leopold, and many other professionals have studied, researched, and written about their views and
findings on this matter. Once all of the information has been examined and digested, one can come to
a conclusion that is held by hunters and conservationists alike. Hunting is in fact a human intrusion on
nature that poses many ethical concerns and among these are hunting for necessity, population control,
and sport/prosperity; however, if hunting is done in a principled and legal manner, the act is inherently
just.
Alice Walker speaks of how the Native Americans treated animals like humans and only killed when it
was necessary for their survival. The European immigrants and their descendants have inherited an
extremely bad reputation as being unethical hunters. One Native American group is quoted by Alice
Walker saying, The whites did not kill them to eat; they killed them for the metal

Moon Landing Conspiracy And Its Effects On The World Essay
Moon Landing Conspiracy
The United States and Mankind have gone on to do many amazing feats that were once though
impossible. However, nothing comes to be quite as amazing as the Apollo 11 mission that landed the
first men on the surface of the moon. At the time this act caused widespread celebration, and cheer.
Over the years some people started to doubt the legitimacy of what occurred on that day back in 1969.
These people came on to form the basis of the moon landing conspiracy theory. A theory that states
that the United States never landed on the moon and the United States faked the whole thing in order
to say they won the space race against the Soviet Union and increase moral during the time of the
Cold war. Some of the core arguments that form the Moon landing Hoax conspiracy are that the
mission would have been too dangerous with the technology we had at the time. They disregard any
footage from the event, believing that NASA and the US government created a fake set in an
undisclosed location and used special effects to make the footage seem more believable. All of the
claims made by these hoax believers can be refuted with science and common sense, and that is what
this paper sets out to do.
The Apollo missions were huge efforts that required thousands of scientists, workers and contractors
to come together. So how is it that thousands of people can come together to create what was a fake
mission without one person coming forward and leaking the fact that all of

Mr Nobody Character Analysis
Mr. Nobody is a fantasy/drama written by Jack Van Dormael also known as the director that associates
a lot of his films with characters who have mental disabilities or physical disabilities. The rated R film
that contained sexuality/nudity, strong language, and violent images was released in 2009. Mr.
Nobody was watched on Netflix by TV. It was a confusing movie at first, but is easy to catch on along
the way. The protagonist is named nemo, also known as the lead singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars. He
is the last mortal human on earth to die and is being watched every second of his last moments like a
zoo animal by these weird, futuristic, and immortal humans. Mr. Nobody is trying to remember his
whole life step by step by the help of a man who has the Mike Tyson tattoo imprinted all over his face.
The story begins in the year of 2092. The whole film consisted of high key lighting and the futuristic
scenes looked a lot like what is described a limbo setting. The wide shots captured a colorful palette
setting similar to Wes Anderson childlike color palette . There was various flashbacks of nemo s
younger self and his many infinite possibilities and pathways he could ve taken. Dormael really
wanted the audience to analyze the character s physical appearance and study every pore upon their
face due to many face close up shots captured throughout the movie such as 7:39, 11:13, 17:16, 37:48,
54:14, 1:28:57, and counting. The pool scene (25:40) seemed like a shot that needed a

Swot Analysis For Wells Fargo
Situation Analysis
In this first section of the Social Media Plan for Wells Fargo, it will discuss the internal and external
environments of the company, this will also include a SWOT analysis. Following this analysis, the
corporate objectives for social media will be discussed as well as the target market analysis.
Internal Environment Since 1852, when Henry Wells and William Fargo founded the company, it has
always had the main focus on its customers. Originally, the idea set aside this financial institution
from the rest was the determination with the Pony Express and the classic stagecoaches to allow
express banking. Wells Fargo earned a reputation of trust by dealing rapidly and responsibly with
people s money (Wells Fargo, 2017). The bank began to grow rapidly throughout the years and took
on the motto Ocean to Ocean , it was a this time the stagecoaches began traveling miles and miles in
order to deliver their customers banking needs in a timely manner. However, by the time the Great
Depression hit, the bank unfortunately lost all their business and resorted back to their original
stomping grounds in San Francisco. It wasn t until during this time, the Wells Fargo stagecoach
became a symbolic icon in the Hollywood western films. By taking on this credibility in the films, it
provided a leverage for the company to come back and take back their Ocean to Ocean title. New
banking concepts not only changed where people banked, but how they banked. Drive up tellers,

Chipotle s main focus in marketing is in the United States but follows the same model in the international market. It has never been Chipotles intention to put its stamp on a bunch of restaurants around the world , but their vision as a company is to change the way people think about and eat fast food, which they feel the other guys are not focusing on, (Van Tan, n.d.). With this mindset, Chipotle believes there s certainly room for them to build that position in other countries as it has been successful in the U.S., (Van Tan, n.d.). In the London market Chipotle followed the same model as in the United States about the brand and its grassroots marketing efforts to the streamlined menu to the assembly line operations, (Van Tan, n.d.). Chipotle executives views are that it doesn t need to be any different going into Europe as it will all be the same. Chipotle is about simplicity, after all, (Van Tan, n.d.). From the start the London store focused on building management potential in its own employees. Management and personnel from the company travelled to London to open and train new Chipotle team members how to do things the Chipotle way, (Van Tan, n.d.). The term Rock and Roll came from a song from the year 1938, that stated My baby rock and rolls me all night. Rock and Roll or also known as American Rock, was changed completely after the British Invasion came in 1964. The invasion turned Rock and Roll into what is known today as Rock, it made a change for the good. Musicians in the pre Rock and Roll era, sang about current events similar as we do today. The events they sang about was Segregation, North Vs. South inferiority and the wars that were happening at the time World War 2, Korean War and Vietnam War. THe artists of this time consisted of The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ritchie Valens and the most famous of them all Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley s music was called White man with an African American feel. In 1959 Motown records in Detroit, Michigan hired an all black group called The Temptations. Their song My Girl hit number one on the billboards in 1964. The man that hired them was Berry Gordy Jr. Berry Gordy Jr also hired all black women groups as well, but unlike the all black male groups he dressed the women groups as white folk. ... The Amazons original purpose was to protect man s world, but they abandoned their original purpose and chose to live in seclusion for thousands of years. • 21. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Illusory Causation In the justice system, the verdicts are not always fair as innocent people are convicted of crimes they did not commit. Over the years, there have been innovative ways to overturn a conviction by providing new evidence. The lack of evidence or the coerce evidence against a subject can lead to their wrongful conviction. Many believe that having video recordings of interrogations will prevent the wrongful decisions, yet it is a disadvantage as the camera is focused on the offender. This is due to the causation discovered between the focus point of the video and the final verdict in court cases. These findings demonstrate illusory causation and how it plays out in the courtroom. The second stage of research consisted of three studies with different time length confessions. There were two purposes for this stage (1) explore the possibilities to prevent camera influence and (2) outline the issues of external validity such as the end judgment. Given several pieces of evidence, the participants focused on the video taken to determine if the offender is guilty or not guilty. Researchers revealed that the camera point of view will be the focus point regardless of the other evidence provided. Also highlighted in the second stage is the probability of a guilty verdict increasing based on the camera s focus point; the likelihood of a guilty verdict will double when the camera focuses on the subject (Lassiter, 2001). The final stage of the research was like the last two although concentrating on another aspect. The purpose of the stage was to focus on the mechanisms that are used in illusory causation. The conclusion is that the causation relies on the perception of one rather than the analysis of the footage. It was noted that the point of view of the participant will impact the way they register the information and it will influence their judgment on the case. For example, the subjects may watch the video over and over but the brain will only focus on the movements instead of what is said. The two short stories, I Stand Here Ironing by Tillie Olsen and Everyday Use by Alice Walker shows two mothers being concerned about one of their daughter and question how their daughters have turned out to be. The authors show this by using multiple symbols to convey the families relationship. By this, the authors use the iron, quilt, and clock all to connect how each symbol shows a significant meaning in the family. In I Stand Here Ironing, Olsen conveys the symbolic meaning of an iron, which connects to Walker s symbolism for the quilt in Everyday Use. Both these objects are ironically associated with a mother in general. Furthermore, in these short stories, Olsen represents the iron as a mother s ability to smooth out the wrinkles in her daughter s life. By this, the mother states, I stand here ironing, and what you asked me moves tormented back and forth with the iron . In other words, she throws all her painful emotions and guilty of not being a mother to her daughter Emily into the iron. In addition, the iron tries to destroy these emotions that are a representation as wrinkles . Also, as the narrator is ironing back and forth, the action is used as a flashback as where she went wrong in raising Emily. Writings on riba have been extensively concerned with the expositions of riba, but with disquisitions about riba. Thought about riba, and any other Qur anic penetrative codes, must be a story of movements in outlook and ever changing ideas, and developments taking place in contemporary social sciences. Words are not only tools of thought, but also control it. Accordingly, to think profitably about riba will be assisted by a sharpened awareness of possibilities of language, not only to lead thought but also to mislead it. This paves the ground on which the Islamic jurists adherence to their predecessors grasp of riba is questioned. • 40. Analysis Of Disco Daze Sidney Hook said, Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system. Mr. Fitzpatrick an experienced teacher and Mr. Meyer a brand new teacher were both influenced by their teachers to help them realize their passion to teach. Mr. Fitzpatrick was my U.S. History teacher my freshman year of high school and I remembered when he taught anyone could tell how much he loved history and how every year he brings joy to so many students by hosting Disco Daze. Disco Daze allows anyone who participates to go back in time for a little while and truly experience what it was like living in the 70s. It was a truly memorable experience as a student and I still look forward to it as a senior. Mr. Meyer reaches out to students through his coaching. Many athletes look up to him and every time they are around him they are smiling and laughing. It is his first year teaching and he already has students who look up to him as a role model. Comparing the years of experience they have can show the similarities and differences between how they talk about their teaching styles, their inspiration that made them decide to be a teacher, and the memorable experiences they have had as a teacher. • 42. The Importance Of Religion In Literature Religion guides humans to a higher order of existence through the collective organization of beliefs, cultural identities, and world views. Religion seeks to define the meaning of life and human existence through historical narratives, symbols, and faith. Since the birth of religions, these have adopted a central focus of the way people live, their lifestyle choices, and their boundaries. In doing so, religion has been used as a preeminent theme in works of literature since the ancient world, as the greater part of first written texts were religious stories. Throughout centuries however, writers have been adapting religion in literature in many different ways, such as in: Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler, Dracula by Bram Stoker, and On the Road by Langston Hughes. Religion in these literary works has played a life changing role in the lives of its characters. In these texts, some characters accept established religions while others reject it, instead, focusing their time on creating their own. In Octavia Butler s Parable of the Sower, the stories heroine, Lauren Olamina, daughter of a Baptist minister during a degenerative and apocalyptic United States. Inside of the walls of her gated community, religion is presented as the unifying doctrine keeping everyone together in times of excruciating chaos. However, Lauren is beginning to mature as a young woman and has begun to question her Christian faith; and as a result, seeks to create her own religion, Earthseed. ... • 44. Strength Of Tensile Strength 2.1.8.4. Tensile strength: Lightweight and normal weight concretes have similar tensile strengths, though lightweight exhibits greater variability. The tensile strength of normal weight concrete of equal compressive strength may vary within a wide range depending, among other parameters, on the shape and surface texture of the aggregate. Experimental tests indicate that the tensile strength of concrete is highly variable and ranges from a bout 8 12% of its compressive strength. The actual value depends on the type of the test and crack propagation pattern at failure. (Ghoneim and El Mihlmy, 2008) (Fabian, 2010), the tensile strength of concrete is important when considering cracking. For specimens loaded under uniaxial compression, cracking parallel to the line of action of the load implies some influence of the tensile strength of the specimens units. Depending on the load impact, tensile strength can be divided into flexural tensile strength, splitting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 45. The Natural Environment And The Human Race Humans have been intervening in nature for the past 200 milleniums. The natural environment and the human race have evolved together side by side. However, throughout the past few centuries, many ethical questions have been brought up regarding how the human race interacts with nature. As our factories and civilizations increase and expand, so does our footprint. One fairly recent ethical concern is the act of hunting. Hunting has been a staple in the evolution of the human race. The harvesting of animals has provided humans with many valuable resources necessary to survive. Alice Walker, Aldo Leopold, and many other professionals have studied, researched, and written about their views and findings on this matter. Once all of the information has been examined and digested, one can come to a conclusion that is held by hunters and conservationists alike. Hunting is in fact a human intrusion on nature that poses many ethical concerns and among these are hunting for necessity, population control, and sport/prosperity; however, if hunting is done in a principled and legal manner, the act is inherently just. Alice Walker speaks of how the Native Americans treated animals like humans and only killed when it was necessary for their survival. The European immigrants and their descendants have inherited an extremely bad reputation as being unethical hunters. One Native American group is quoted by Alice Walker saying, The whites did not kill them to eat; they killed them for the metal ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 46. Moon Landing Conspiracy And Its Effects On The World Essay Moon Landing Conspiracy The United States and Mankind have gone on to do many amazing feats that were once though impossible. However, nothing comes to be quite as amazing as the Apollo 11 mission that landed the first men on the surface of the moon. At the time this act caused widespread celebration, and cheer. Over the years some people started to doubt the legitimacy of what occurred on that day back in 1969. These people came on to form the basis of the moon landing conspiracy theory. A theory that states that the United States never landed on the moon and the United States faked the whole thing in order to say they won the space race against the Soviet Union and increase moral during the time of the Cold war. Some of the core arguments that form the Moon landing Hoax conspiracy are that the mission would have been too dangerous with the technology we had at the time. They disregard any footage from the event, believing that NASA and the US government created a fake set in an undisclosed location and used special effects to make the footage seem more believable. All of the claims made by these hoax believers can be refuted with science and common sense, and that is what this paper sets out to do. The Apollo missions were huge efforts that required thousands of scientists, workers and contractors to come together. So how is it that thousands of people can come together to create what was a fake mission without one person coming forward and leaking the fact that all of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The rated R film that contained sexuality/nudity, strong language, and violent images was released in 2009. Mr. Nobody was watched on Netflix by TV. Mr. Nobody is trying to remember his whole life step by step by the help of a man who has the Mike Tyson tattoo imprinted all over his face. The story begins in the year of 2092. The whole film consisted of high key lighting and the futuristic scenes looked a lot like what is described a limbo setting. The wide shots captured a colorful palette setting similar to Wes Anderson childlike color palette . There was various flashbacks of nemo s younger self and his many infinite possibilities and pathways he could ve taken. Dormael really wanted the audience to analyze the character s physical appearance and study every pore upon their face due to many face close up shots captured throughout the movie such as 7:39, 11:13, 17:16, 37:48, 54:14, 1:28:57, and counting. Following this analysis, the corporate objectives for social media will be discussed as well as the target market analysis. Internal Environment Since 1852, when Henry Wells and William Fargo founded the company, it has always had the main focus on its customers. Wells Fargo earned a reputation of trust by dealing rapidly and responsibly with people s money (Wells Fargo, 2017). The bank began to grow rapidly throughout the years and took on the motto Ocean to Ocean , it was a this time the stagecoaches began traveling miles and miles in order to deliver their customers banking needs in a timely manner. However, by the time the Great Depression hit, the bank unfortunately lost all their business and resorted back to their original stomping grounds in San Francisco. It wasn t until during this time, the Wells Fargo stagecoach became a symbolic icon in the Hollywood western films.
