Nodal points are two specific points on the principal axis of an optical system that produce parallel emergent rays. They are defined as a pair of points with unit positive angular magnification located on the principal axis. Additionally, nodal points are referred to as the center of rotation of the eye.

1. NODAL POINTS:
• Two points located on the principal axis of a lens or
a optical system,that can incident the ray directed
through,one will produce a parallel emergent ray
directedto the other.These points are NODAL
POINTS.

magnification between them is called a
pair of NODAL POINTS.

there are two points which named as Nodal points.
•When the ray of incident light stikes at the side of
object space,which makes an angle ALPHA
•Then this emergent ray produces at the side of
image space then its makes an angle BETA
