The reason someone writes is in order to try and get a message or an idea across. For some topics its
easier than others, but when you re trying and prove the whole idea of discovery wrong it may be
more difficult. Thomas Kuhn writes Historical Structure of Scientific Discovery in an attempt to try
and convey his message that the timeline role of discovery is wrong. He denies the idea about how
some discoveries are misleading and make it seem they were found in a single moment. When you
write you must assume that anyone can read it, so you have to keep your audience in mind. Different
articles of science will bring in all kinds of readers. Not only was he writing to historians and
scientists, but to the general public, so he needed to structure his writing to appeal his audience. Kuhn

On May 13, 2016, the Vocal Jazz Ensembles at Sacramento State University had their one of the last
concerts before the semester ended, which was directed by our professor Gaw Vang Williams. This
concert was performed by four groups and different solo, which was completely different experience

Analyzing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr s Open Letter
In 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested during a peaceful protest march in Birmingham,
Alabama. While he was incarcerated he wrote an open letter, using the salutation My Dear Fellow
Clergymen, explaining his beliefs and his mission. It is a powerful and moving essay that clarifies Dr.
King s position. Even more, it was a call to action for all good people to join the cause of the civil
rights movement.
Dr. King s explicit audience for the letter were the clergymen who were critical of the demonstrations
and even questioned Dr. King s right to be in Birmingham in the first place. Dr. King explained, to
