Pro Abortion Essay
Writing an essay on the topic of "Pro Abortion" can be a challenging endeavor due to the
sensitive nature of the subject. The issue of abortion is deeply polarizing, evoking strong
emotions and beliefs on both sides of the argument. Crafting a persuasive and well-reasoned
essay requires careful consideration of various perspectives, ethical concerns, legal aspects, and
the impact on individuals and society.
To begin with, one must navigate through a myriad of ethical dilemmas surrounding the right to
life, bodily autonomy, and the potential consequences of abortion on mental and physical well-
being. The complexity of the topic demands a nuanced understanding of different philosophical,
religious, and cultural viewpoints.
Additionally, delving into the legal landscape of abortion adds another layer of difficulty. Laws
and regulations regarding abortion vary widely across different regions and countries, further
complicating the analysis. A comprehensive essay must encompass historical context, landmark
legal cases, and the ongoing debates surrounding reproductive rights.
Moreover, addressing the socio-economic factors that contribute to the abortion discourse is
essential. Exploring issues such as access to healthcare, education, and socioeconomic
inequalities sheds light on the broader implications of abortion policies.
Throughout the essay, maintaining a respectful and empathetic tone is crucial, considering the
deeply personal nature of the topic. Striking a balance between presenting factual information
and acknowledging the emotional aspects of the debate is challenging but necessary to foster
understanding and constructive dialogue.
In conclusion, writing a "Pro Abortion Essay" requires meticulous research, critical thinking, and
a careful navigation of the ethical, legal, and socio-economic dimensions of the issue. It demands
a writer's ability to communicate complex ideas with sensitivity and clarity, recognizing the
diverse perspectives that surround the topic.

Changes and Implications
Technology s Rapid Development
When we analyze the technological environment, we look at what could create a new
market or develop new products. In order to turn new advances in technology into
competitive advantages and opportunities, companies such as Apple need to be aware
of the changes happening in the market. Technology affects consumers life style,
consumption and spending patterns, as well as the economy. Also, advances in the
technological sector can sometimes create new industries or destroy existing ones.
Additionally, technological changes affect the 4P s of an organization. Due to the
previously mentioned reasons, we think the constant development in technology is a
key driving force in the Smartphone industry. There is a tide of technological
innovations hitting the world and the Smartphone industry particularly. Through our
research we were able to highlight
Fortune Tellers During The Han Dynasty
The first paper was made in 105 AD. This paper was made of cloth, bark, bamboo,
and fish net. Although this paper was not easy to write on, it has changed the
world forever. The inventor of paper was born during the Han Dynasty. His name
was Cai Lun. When he shared his invention of paper with the king, he was highly
praised. With his praise, he also received money. Cai Lun died tragically in 121 AD,
but his legacy has lived on. Although no one knows who made the magnetic

Chapter 24 Epilogue pp. 341 348
Many people had imperceptible answers to the questions like, what did it all mean
in the end and what were the accomplishments? Stokely Carmichael wrote a book
called Black Power and in it he wrote about how black people in that time did not
accept segregation. Martin Luther King also made important points in his speeches
about segregation and how during this time black people decided to make a change.
The movement in the Alabama Black Belt lasted the longest and many people do not
acknowledge that fact. Even after all the protests started to fade away from the
headlines, black people in Alabama continued to protest for freedom. Many black
citizens in Alabama began to realize that there were other white people in Alabama
who also wanted to end segregation. In Lowndes County, Alabama, there was a rich
man who owned thousands of acres of land, named Harrell Hammonds.
Hammonds was a probate judge who raised cattle and grew cotton on his farm.
Hammonds was also an aristocratic politician. Many people noticed Hammonds as
being against segregation. Hammonds argued in a court of law that everyone
should be treated equally no matter the color of their skin. Later in his life,
Hammonds also gave his support for black people to be able to get an equal
education as white people.
There was an unhappy ending to Hammonds support to end segregation. Many people

Essay Comparing Hollow Men And Heart Of Darkness
The poem by T.S. Elliot, The Hollow Men and the novel by Joseph Conrad, Heart of
Darkness represent both nonchalance and insouciance. Both Elliot s hollow men and
Conrad s Station Manager present an insightful rationale and emotional indifference
as well as being bereft of discernible humanity. The two pieces underscore the crucial
characteristics of both the station manger and the hollow menby exaggerating the
details of their empty eyes as well as death s other kingdom, (III.8) of which they
both reside in, their obscure characteristics and their emptiness. In the Heart of
Darkness, the station manager is a very ordinary man who has no qualities that stand
out from the norm. Despite, his generic actions, he encompasses the harmless face of
evilness. His innate vagueness such as his and his ability to make the simplest
phrases incapable of being understood. However, it can be noted that his main
strength was being ambiguous. Marlow uses multiple paradoxes to describe his
ambiguousness, such as He originated nothing...but he was great and he was neither
civil nor uncivil. Likewise, the hollow men are quiet and meaningless, taking shape
without form, shape without colour, paralysed force, [and] gesture without motion ...

purpose of earning a $2,500 scholarship to the college of their choice. The essay

My Experience At The University Of Baghdad, College Of...
Not long ago, I received a delightful phone call, it was from a patient I treated three
years ago, he and his family wanted just to say hi, we missed you Doc. , isn t that
one of the most beautiful thing someone can get in life? For me yes it is.
I studied medicine in one of the top universities in the Middle East that is University
of Baghdad, College of Medicine. My training was in Baghdad Medical Center, the
biggest teaching hospital in Iraq, which provided me with the best teaching and
training in the country. After graduation, I did my internship in several hospitals in
Baghdad. During that time, my country went through crisis situations, with lack of
many basic services and security. I faced a wide range of medical cases that needed
to be managed under highly stressful conditions, which helped in developing my
clinical and social skills. I was introduced to all specialties of medicine, and that was
the time when Family Medicine started to be my biggest interest. Family physicians
are not better than other doctors, but they are different. They continue to be the heart
and soul of medicine. More than any other specialty, family doctors humanize the
health care experience. Focusing their attention on the person, not just the disease,
they are driven to develop relationships over generations with the patients and
families they care for.
Due to the continued security deterioration in my country, I had to travel to Jordan,
and work as a general practitioner over there and
Little Miss Sunshine Themes
Little Miss Sunshine Movie Analysis
1. The makers of Little Miss Sunshine create meaning through utilizing music and
close up camera shots. The film makers carefully choose what music to play during
each scene, matching the type of music to the emotions the characters are feeling. For
example, the music that plays in the introduction with Olive Hoover watching the
Miss America Pageant sounds hopeful. This helps viewers understand her dream to
become a beauty queen. The music played in the background as Frank faces the
person who influences him to commit suicide gives off a feeling of loneliness and
depression.
The film makers use of close up shots come in key when showing direct emotions a
character is feeling. For example, the close up shots of Richard Hoover during the
Little Miss Sunshine Pageant contribute to the viewer s understanding of the overall
theme of the movie. We can see shock ridden over Richard s face as each girl
participating in the competition enters the stage. This emphasizes his realization of
the unreal expectations and pressures on the girls to perform in a certain way, and we
understand that influences his decision to try to get Olive to withdraw from the
pageant. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are two kinds of people in the world, Olive s father Richard Hoover claims,
winners and losers. Olive s father s expectation for everyone to be a winner and
not a loser relates to the pressure in American society for everyone to be perfect. In
reality, you have to be able to accept your imperfections. For example, Olive, slightly
chubby and with a mismatched sense of style, aspires to become a beauty queen. The
message that the film makers reveal is that individuality is more important than
conforming to societies ideas of what makes a winner and what does
Bullying Stance Essay
Bullying Stance As a worldwide concern holds many people victim for
generations; bullying does not have to be an issue for others unless we make it.
Bullying, the repeated attack on a person either verbally or physically with
intention has changed the way we look at people in the twenty first century. With a
whopping, one out of four people affected by this cause, we must find a way for it
to be abolished and erased from all existence. The Bully movie has given me insight
and perspective from this horrific occurrence, and has shaped the way I think about
this phenomenon for many years to come. At one time in our country, bullyingwas in
a physical form, now it has expanded its horizons into the depth of modern day
technology. Bullying must face an end soon, otherwise many parts of the... Show

I was bullied at one point for being overweight and unathletic. This changed my life
forever; now I am always aware of my weight and make many efforts to keep
everything at a balance. I have improved myself to be better at various sports. This
may seem beneficial, but sometimes I push a little too hard and I end up injuring
myself, either mentally or physically. Ever since I have first heard about Bullying, I
thought it rarely occurred but that was proven wrong as it happened right in front of
me. The Bully Project confirmed my sightings and exposed the truth about Bullying.
As seen in the movie, the counselors or trusted adult (apart from the child s parents)
do nothing in efforts to stop bullying. This shows us what kind of a world we live in,
one meant for not only the wrongdoings of humans but the inhumanity as well. For
example, Kelbi Johnson was bullied due to her sexuality, and that specifically

uses figurative language in order to describe the shack in which Panchito and his

Panchito and his family live in. It tells the readers the shack has not been tended to in

In the story he uses imagery and personification in this quote, Finally the mountains

explains how the conditions Panchito and his father and brother worked in were hot

expressed because the valley can t do the human act of swallowing. The tone is
relieved since the characters are finally getting away from the hot weather while the

The World Of Online Business And Internet Marketing
Greetings Name,
In today s lesson we are going to talk about failure! (I know...exciting right?!?) Let s
be real, most people who get into internet marketing end up failing in one way or
another. Failing looks different to different people. Some recover from their failures
and come back stronger with more success, but most simply give up and run far, far
away from anything to do with internet marketing.
So...what exactly does failure look like in the world of online business and internet
marketing? Does it look like not getting the instant money you were promised when
you fell for that guru s lies? Does it look like you not getting to quit your job, buy
your dream home and car, and move to the Bahamas within a few months of starting
your first online business?
NO!!!
No, each and every one of those things I mentioned are not failures in my book.
Those things not happening causes you to realize starting your own online business
isn t as easy and effortless as many of those gurus try to convince you it is. In fact,
in many cases, they don t want you to achieve what they promised because they re
hoping you ll keep coming back and buying their fraudulent products as you continue
to chase the dream lifestyle they are shoving in your face!
To me, failure in the online business world is this: quitting after three months (or any
amount of time) because you ve gotten tired of working hard with no results, or after
not making a single dollar after six months, or
Symptoms Of Synesthesia
Synesthesia is when any two or more senses of the human body or perceptual
pathways are linked. When one sense is activated so is another. So when you are
eating, you may feel as if you are tasting a color instead, or when you see a color
you may think of a shape. It affects 1 out of 2,000 peopled believed to be genetic, it
is demonstrated more commonly in females and individuals who are left handed.
Synesthesia is not diagnosed as a disease, those affected usually have average
intelligence and no greater risk of mental disorders. What are its symptoms? Since
there are many types of synesthesia, the symptoms may not be the same for every
individual affected. I.Consistent Reactionary Triggers: The same trigger will always

Reactions And Reactions Of Redox Reactions
Introduction:
Without the millions of chemical reactions that occur every day, life would be
completely different. An important class of common reactions includes those which
involve the simultaneous transfer of electrons between chemicals, commonly referred
to as redox reactions or oxidation reduction reactions. Redox reactions are whole
reactions composed of two different half reactions known as oxidation (where
electrons are lost) and reduction (where electrons are gained) (Chemguide, 2013).
When there is an increase in the oxidation state, the reaction is oxidation; when there
is a decrease, it is reduction. Oxidation cannot possibly occur without an affiliated
reduction, and vice versa. Redox reactions are notated as such:
Cu(s) пѓ Cu2+ + 2e
In the half reaction above, a copper ion (with a plus 2 charge) is formed from the
oxidation of solid copper (with no charge). The e in the equation is an electron which
is free to reduce other chemical atoms, such as in the half reaction:
2Ag+(aq) + 2e пѓ 2Ag(s)
Two electrons are added to the two silver ions in this half reaction, in order to
produce a solid silver. These two half reactions can be combined to form a redox
equation as follows:
Cu(s) пѓ Cu2+(aq) + 2e
2 Ag+(aq) + 2e пѓ 2Ag(s)
Cu(s) + 2Ag+(aq) + 2e пѓ Cu2+(aq) + 2Ag(s) + 2e
OR
Cu(s) + 2Ag+(aq) пѓ Cu2+(aq) + 2Ag(s)

I Agree with the Principal s Decision of Making...
Almost every student, at one point, has participated or will participate in an
extracurricular activity, whether it be athletic, academic, artistic, or altruistic.
Through these activities, students learn valuable life skills and build friendships that
last a lifetime. However, a large amount of students do not receive these numerous
benefits as they do not participate in extracurricular activities. For this reason, the
principal has decided to mandate at least one extracurricular activityfor all students. I
strongly agree with this decision because extracurricular activities increase academic
performance, keep students out of trouble and improve social and mental health. First

For example, students are less likely to use drugs and controlled substances, because
they realize that they won t be able to participate in extracurriculars that they enjoy if
they were to use drugs. Especially in athletic competitions, students who use drugs are
immediately disqualified, and since most student athletes want to compete, they will
refrain from engaging in such detrimental acts. In addition, students who participate
in extracurricular activities are less likely to join gangs and take part in gang related
actions, because they have made true friends in their after school activities that
actually care about the student s well being. Lastly, extracurricular activities improve
the social and mental health of students. Through these after school endeavors,
students are able to make friends with people who share interests and find the same
hobbies interesting, and often, these friendships are the most long lasting. These
friendships are not only beneficial to a students social well being, but also to their
mental health. In addition, kids not in safe environments at home are provided by a
safe environment at school for after school activities. For example, if

Romanticism And Percy Shelley s Influence Of Romanticism
In reaction to The Enlightenment, the period of Romanticism rises in the nineteenth
century; with its major influences in the arts. Romantics focused on the individual
and emotion over reason. Nature is their biggest influence. Through nature romantics
could be closer to a supreme being. When it came it religion, the romantics were
drawn to Christianity, but did not consider themselves Christians. In her essay
Defence of Poetry, Percy Shelley describes the characteristics of Romanticism, when
describing poetry. She uses phrases like the expression of the imagination, to
describe poetry. (Percy Shelley, Defence of Poetry). In her essay Shelley describes
what true poetry is and consists of. Her descriptions resemble the ones of
Romanticism. Thus, what is Romanticism? It is one of the hardest periods to define
as Hobsbawm states, As a style, a school, an era in the arts, nothing is harder to
define or even describe in terms of formal analysis... (The Age of Revolution, 257).
Even though Romanticism can be described as undefinable, its presence could be felt
throughout Europe. Socially the middle classhad the least impact of Romanticism,
some even say that the romantics were anti middle class. In fact, Hobsbawm explains
how romanticism entered the middle class when he says, Romanticism entered the
middle class culture, perhaps mostly through the rise in day dreaming among the
female members of the bourgeois family. (The Age of Revolution, 272). However, the

How Does Shakespeare portray Women in Much Ado About Nothing?
I believe eavesdropping plays a very important role in Much Ado.
Therefore, I have chosen to answer this essay question, as I feel strongly about it.
In the play, Shakespeare makes use of eavesdropping by using it as a comic
device, but also to sort out situations so that the play is able to go on. I will be
focussing upon two events in particular to show this. Each event will present a
different form of eavesdropping being used. The first will be the gulling of
Benedick and Beatrice (Act 2 Sc 3 Act 3 Sc 1). The second, when the Watch
overhears Borachio and Conrade discussing the plot against Hero (Act 3
Sc 3). Although both events create comedy, the scene with the ... Show more content

Luckily and coincidentally the Watch saves them from being separated through
eavesdropping. The main plot and sub plots are drawn together with this device, and
to emphasise the importance of nothing from the title, the audience is unable to view
the key episode, where Claudio and Don Pedro witness what they think is Hero s
unfaithfulness. Instead, we immediately observe the Watch eavesdropping on
Borachio. This is how eavesdropping determines the narrative line of the play,
because without it the play wouldn t move on effectively. It is highly ironic that the
word nothing in the play s title is a play on the word noting which in Elizabethan
slang refers to eavesdropping . This reflects the importance of eavesdropping, as it is
partly in the title of the play, and therefore must play a big part.
Benedick is the first to be tricked by the other characters (Act 2 Sc
3). He hides from Don Pedro, Leonato and Claudio, these characters know that
Benedick is hiding and so they start to lay the plot. They feel that Benedick and
Beatrice would be right for eachother. The reason behind the trick is to bring
Beatrice and Benedick together. At first, Benedick considers whether what he is
hearing is true, Is t possible?.. I should think this a gull.. . Benedick is gullible and
believes what he is hearing is true because the white bearded fellow speaks it . This

popular and potentially important marketing topics to arise in the 1980 s was the

good news and bad news. The good news is that it has raised the importance of the

Role of brands to consumers. To consumers, brands provide important functions.
Brands identify the source or maker of a product and allow consumers to assign
responsibility as to which particular manufacturer, distributor, or provider should be
held accountable. More importantly, brands can take on special meaning to
consumers. Because of past experiences with the product and its marketing program
over the years, consumers learn about brands. They find out which brands satisfy
their needs and which ones do not. As a result, brands provide a shorthand device or
means of simplification for their product decisions. If consumers recognize a brand
and have some knowledge about it, then they do not have to engage in a lot of
additional thought or processing of information to make a product decision. Thus,
from an economic perspective, brands allow consumers to lower search costs for
products both internally (in terms of how much they have to think) and externally (in
terms of how much they have to look around). Based on what they already know
about the brand its quality, product characteristics, etc. consumers can make
assumptions and

Thank Bob Dylan With The Nobel Prize
December 20, 2016
Dear Nobel Prize committee,
The Nobel Prize for Literature is an outstanding prize that honors extraordinary
people for their works in literature. It honors people that have changed literature. On
October 13, 2016 you awarded Bob Dylan with the Nobel Prize in Literature. This
marks him as the first musician ever to win this prize. Many people agree with your
decision, while others are not delighted with this fact. I agree with the committee to
honoring Bob Dylan with the Nobel Prize in literature for having created new poetic
expressions within the great American song tradition.
Bob Dylan was born as Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941 in Duluth,
Minnesota. While growing up, Bob was influenced by Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee
Lewis, and Little Richard. He was also in a few bands while growing up. While he
was in college he began performing folk and country music at local cafes under the
name Bob Dillon. In 1960, he dropped out of college and moved to New York. In
New York, Bob met his idol Woody Guthrie and visited him regularly and became
great friends with him. In 1961, he signed his first recording contract at Columbia
Records and became one of the most original influential voices in the history of
American popular music. Throughout his lifetime he s been awarded with
Grammy s, Academy and Golden Globe awards. In 2012, he received the Presidential
Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama. Bob Dylan wrote music based on
social issues, war and civil

Essay about Dreams Their Analysis
Dreams Their Analysis
The assignment is to recall a dream and analyze it from one or two theoretical
perspectives we ve learned thus far in dream analysis. Dreams have been a vehicle to
express emotions, thoughts and feelings. Sometimes they pose questions which have
been rooted in our conscious. Dreams are personalized works which we have
consciously directed and created in our minds and no one interpretation is right or
wrong. Weeks later upon receiving this assignment I had an incredible dream of my
mother of which I will never forget.
It was a beautiful sunny day, not one cloud to blemish the sky.
I remember this particular afternoon being warm and bright. The scenery ... Show

I felt threatened and didn t trust crossing this bridge and my mother instinctively
new my fear and preceded to cross, reassuring me it was safe. I didn t cross the
bridge but watched her take her steps alone. She reached the middle of the bridge
and it collapsed. I ran towards the edge looking down at my mother as she was
struggling to hold on and trying to get a better grip. She was calling out my name,
begging me to help her, but I just stood there frozen in silence and feeling no
emotion. I saw her fingers turn white as they lost their hold one by one, until she
was holding on with just one hand. She turned her head to look at me one last time
before she lost the grip in her other hand and fell. I remember hearing no noise of her
body hitting the water, just empty silence, but the expression of her face is etched
into my memory.
Remembering this dream brings up emotions of guilt and was painful to envision.
There are many theoretical perspectives one can use to analyze such dreams.
Ultimately to find a potential explanation or interpretation of what dreams mean. I
have looked closer into the works of
Sigmund Freud to study what this all means and maybe find an appropriate analysis
of my dream.
Freud is one of the most popular theorists today and has developed many theoretical
perspectives pertaining to personality. He organized three levels
American Hatred Towards The Car
American Hatred towards the Car Early on in the nineteenth century, being a new
invention, car companies were producing expensive automobiles that only the
wealthy were able to afford. This separated the social classes even more in the
pride there was of owning a car. But, money could not buy experience, early drivers
were not experienced drivers and their reckless behaviors made some fed up
Americans feel obligated to do something to slow them down.
Historian Clay McShane explained, American urbanites made a decision to destroy
the living environments of nineteenth century neighborhoods by converting their
gathering places into traffic jams, their playgrounds into motorways, and their
shopping places into elongated parking lots . This ... Show more content on

With the individualism that the automobile created, Eisenhower saw that cities
needed safer and faster highways that connected rural and urban cities so the U.S.
could be traversed by the potential he saw in the automobile. He admired the German
Autobahn and wanted the same in the U.S. The poor quality of roads discouraged
Americans from driving, and the automobile would be unreliable and useless unless
efforts were made to provide safety for the more independent American driver and
Good And Evil In Anthony Burgess s A Clockwork Orange
The biggest battles in history is, has been, and always will be between good and
evil, but where does evil originate? Is it something inherited, or is it something
learned? Anthony Burgess attempts to answer this question in his dystopian
fiction, A Clockwork Orange. The novel, written during the Cold War, is a
reflection of Burgess s viewpoint on Communism and its overall impact on
society. Burgess was appalled at the degree to which the communist state
controlled people s lives (Galens). He felt that when a man cannot choose he ceases
to be a man (Burgess 63). Throughout the novel, Burgess tried to decide whether or
not it is better to be forced to be good or choose to be evil. A Clockwork Orange
shows that humans are inherently evil, but they have the potential to change as
demonstrated with diction, use of imagery, and character development.
Throughout the entire novel, Burgess tries to show that humans are naturally
immoral. This is demonstrated through his diction. The language in the book, Nadsat,
is a mixture between English and Russian, which allows Burgess to hide the darker
events in the book. For example, while out with his gang, Alex and his friends run
into a scholar, destroy his books, and beat him up. In regards to this Alex says, The
old veck began to make sort of chumbling shooms wuf waf wof so Georgie let go of
holding his goobers apart and just let him have one in the toothless rot with his ringy
fist, and that made the old veck start moaning a
Hidden Truths in The Possibility of Evil” by Shirley...
Underneath a good moral, there could be a hidden truth. In, The Possibility of Evil ,
Shirley Jackson shows how the protagonist, Miss Strangeworth presumes she is
protecting her neighborhood by eliminating the evil that exists within her community,
but ironically, she is the most evil neighbor of all. In the beginning, the community
considers Miss Strangeworth an old, caring and respected woman. Throughout the
story, a handful of community members realize Miss Strangeworth is a bitter,
insensitive woman, who is creating more evil in the neighborhood. In other words,
Miss Strangeworth s intentions to rid her neighborhood of evil, ultimately has the
opposite effect and ironically creates more dilemma.

Thus, Miss Strangeworth is considered a respected and caring old woman, which the
community can look up to.
Throughout the story, some community members realize Miss Strangeworth is a
bitter and insensitive old woman, whose intentions to rid of evil backfire and end
up creating more trouble for her. Firstly, Miss Strangeworth writes insensitive and
harsh letters to community members, writing letters to her neighbors with her
unwanted opinions. Miss Strangeworth writes a letter to the same young couple
that asks for her guidance, DIDN T YOU EVER SEE AN IDIOT CHILD
BEFORE? SOME PEOPLE JUST SHOULDN T HAVE CHILDREN, SHOULD

couple about their child. She feels like she is giving them the right advice to raise
a child and rid evil from her community, but her harsh words are hurting her
neighbors and creating more trouble for them. Secondly, Miss Strangeworth feels
like she is ridding her town of evil and is the only saviour for the community. Miss
Strangeworth thinks it s her duty to keep her town alert...there were so many
wicked people in the world (3). Miss Strangeworth thinks of herself as the only one
attempting to prevent evil as there is too much evil in the world now days. She
feels as if she is doing her job and there is nothing wrong with what she is doing.

Not only does ANZAC day remember the landing or anniversary but it is the day

ANZACS are still remembered today.
Memorial facilities and services are held at sunrise on 25 April, the time of the
original landing, across the nation, usually at war memorials. This was started by
returned soldiers after the First World War in the 1920s as a common form of
commemoration. The initial official dawn service was held at the Sydney
Cenotaph in 1927. It was the first year that all states acknowledged a public
holiday. Primarily the services were only attended by veterans who followed the
ritual of standing a moment of silence while listening to a lone piper playing the
Last Post . Then later marches were held in most major cities and many families and
other people joined and acknowledged them. Now ANZAC day is a day when
Australians gather, reflect and remember the meaning of

Taking On Multiple Perspectives For An American Adult
The idea of taking on multiple perspectives can be applied to many scenarios, from
making decisions as the president of a nation to running a day care. One of the
most accessible perspectives for an American adult is the small business. By
engaging in the perspective of other people at a business you either work at or are a
customerat, you gain a certain understanding that makes you more relaxed and more
pleasant. For example we can take an almost universal experience in the developed
world, ordering food at a fast food restaurant.
Let s say there is a line of customers during the lunch rush at your average fast food
restaurant. The line is taking extraordinarily long because there is only one person
running the register and one person ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Next in line is person B. Person B realizes that everyone in line is there for food
and must be just as hungry as they are. He realizes that there are only two
employees and that they are working very hard to serve as many people as they are,
perhaps they have been in that situation. Person B has a greater understanding of the
perspective of those around him and in turn is much calmer than person A.
This example of taking on multiple perspectives shares in Zhuangzi s philosophy but
is different from his examples. The closest example would be the story of the butcher.
A good butcher changes his chopper every year because he chips it. And average
butcher changes it every month because he breaks it (Zhuangzi, ch.3). This is
demonstrating two people, doing essentially the same thing, but the way they do it
makes their life more or less difficult. As the butchers gain a greater understanding of
the oxen they become more proficient.
When I first began cutting up oxen, I did not see anything but oxen. Three years
later, I couldn t see the whole ox. And now, I encounter them with spirit and don t
look with my eye ... That s why after nineteen years the blade of my chopper is still
as though fresh from the grindstone. (Zhuangzi, Ch.3)
In the restaurant example person B is a better customer than person A. In something
as simple as being a customer it is safe to say that becoming irrationally upset would
be analogous to
Abortion Is A Fetus A Living Human
Is a developing fetus a living human? Is a fetus not considered a human until the
second trimester? Does poverty, rape and disability justify an abortion? Is the
abortion dilemma truly black and white? Abortion is one of the most common
medical procedures performed in the United States each year. Nearly one in four of
all pregnancies end in abortionequalling 42% of all yearly deaths around the world.
For pro life supporters, they say that life begins at conception; the instant when a
sperm cell unites with a egg cell. For pro choice supporters, they say at birth, a baby
is a living human. At conception, they know it is something but they don t consider it
a human life. Since 1973, the number of abortions has spiked drastically from over

Others will object and say it is just a fetus. Millions of babies each year, die without
even being born because of abortion. How should society respond to the huge
increase in the amount of abortions over the past few years? Society needs to make
a big change and make abortions illegal. People think it is acceptable to kill
someone who doesn t even have a say yet. People think it is acceptable to put their
rights before two other individuals. Why though? Why take what seems like the
easy way out all the time? Society is showing people that it is okay to kill unborn
fetuses. Society certainly needs an effective way of preventing abortions. But in the
end, the fact that abortion has been legalized in America since 1973, shows that right
now our problem is only going to get bigger and we need to do something about it

Example Of Exothermic Reaction
An exothermic reaction is one in which there is a release of energy (usually heat)
from the system (Ashworth Little, 2001). In other words, the energy of the system
decreases, and thus H is negative. Because heat is being transferred out of the system
(i.e., the reaction requires no external energy source), exothermic reactions are self
sustaining (Ashworth Little, 2001). Notable examples of exothermic reactions
include combustionreactions, where oxygen(O2) reacts with another substance,
usually to form carbon dioxide and water (CO2 + H2O) (Kung Lerner, 2014).
Combustion can be seen in many facets of everyday life, from wood fires to the
engines of many vehicles (the combustion of gasoline has the following chemical
equation: 2C8H18 + 25O2 + 2N2 12CO2 + 4CO + 4NO + 18H2O + heat this
illustrates the convention of placing heat in a chemical equation, which, if listed as
a product, is an indicator of an exothermic reaction; this equation is also an example
of incomplete combustion, since an ideal combustion reaction would have no
products save carbon dioxide and water; often, the oxygen fueling a combustion
reaction is consumed before complete combustion can occur (Lew, 2015)). On a
smaller scale, exothermic reactions can be used to create heating devices such as
hand warmers, which can be calibrated (by analyzing the change in heat of the
chemicals involved in the device) to produce an optimal amount of heat. [SOME

Positive Illusions And Negative Illusions
Positive illusions are unrealistic, biased attitudes that individuals have about
themselves and towards other individuals, normally close friends or family
members. Positive illusions is a perception that represents what is perceived in a
way different from the way it is in reality. An illusion is a false mental image or
conception which may be a misinterpretation of a real appearance or may be
something imagined. It may be pleasing, harmless or even useful (Stein, 1982, p
662). The more positive illusionsthe higher self esteem an individual has. It should be
noted that positive illusions are more common in western countries than other parts
of the world. Research has found that positive illusions promote a better mental
health. There... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Illusion of control is the distorted opinion of the individual s personal control over
different types of situations. These individuals believe they have control over the
roll of a dice or the flip of a coin. An example of illusion of control is when a gambler
thinks they can control the dice being rolled or the next card to be flipped over.
Question 2
Approximately 117 Americans die every day to suicide and for every suicide there is
25 other unsuccessful attempts (Suicide Statistics, 2016). The American Foundation
for Suicide Prevention says that suicide is the 10th leading cause of deaths in the
USA and that 42773 American dies every year. Research shows that suicide happens
to any race, gender or age.
The belief is that people who talk about suicided aren t really going to go through
with it; this belief is completely false. Often suicidal people make subtle hints
leading up to the event. Some subtle hints include: I know where my dad s gun is
if I ever need it, I have the perfect plan to end it all, I wonder what that chemical
taste like or, I wonder what it feels like to bleed out and leave forever. Others often
discuss their depression and how there isn t anything to live for. Another false belief
is suicide cannot be prevented. If an individual gets help early enough for the
depression and suicidal thought Suicide begins as a chain of events. First, the
individual feels worthless and inadequate.

Abstract
Surface roughness has become the most significant functional requirement and it is an
index of the product quality. In order to increase the efficiency of hard to machine
alloys like titanium and nickel alloys, an Electro Chemical Honing (ECH) process
has been employed to achieve highest material removal rate with the best surface
qualities. This extended abstract describes the design and fabrication of an
indigenously developed tooling setup for ECH of external cylindrical surfaces of
Titanium alloys (TI 6AL 4V) and also highlights the key process parameters and their
affect on ECH process. The influence of the machining parameters on the surface
finish has been investigated and optimized the process parameters for improving the
surface roughness is also evaluated. Percentage improvements in surface roughness
values Ra and other parameters like electrolyte temperature, composition and
concentration were studied while changing the processing time (PT). And also the
study of surface characteristics of micro and macro level and micro hardness too
examined.

Biological Compounds Of Marine Organisms Essay
Biologically active compounds found in marine organisms have been extremely
useful when combating again human immunodeficiency virus. One compound in
particular which is found in sponges, Papuamide A, has been reported to have
cytoprotective activity against HIV 1 in vitro. There are many other representatives
that can be found in the same class as Papuamide A; however, due to the slight
change in their structure, the way they effect HIVis different. Papuamide A exhibits a
potent inhibitory effect on the infection of T Lymphoblastoid cells by HIV and has
been able to combat against drug resistant HIV strains.
Introduction. Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV 1) has infected over 33.2
million people world wide to date [9]. There is a plethora of new and upcoming
drugs that are being used to combat against human immunodeficiency virus.
Although effective, the drugs that are being used to combat against HIV 1 have
also been known to cause resistance, adverse effects and toxicity to the mitochondria
[3]. HIV 1 is a retrovirus that belongs to a subfamily of retroviruses called
lentiviruses [8]. HIV 1 causes a slow depletion of the immune system and is
considered a slow degenerative disease. New drugs that combat against HIV 1
entering into different cells has raised interest due to the fact that these new drugs are
able to work against drug resistant viruses that can infect the cell.

kids and teenagers with family issues, personal issues, and mental disorders, such
as depression and anxiety for example. This passion comes for personal experience
with these issues and with witnessing people close to me and people I love struggle
with these issues; those experiences sparked a fire inside me and I am determined
not to let that fire be doused. In further detail, what I would love to accomplish with
my goal of combining music and counseling is to start a nonprofit organization where
kids and teenagers with mental disorders and other related issues can go. On the
psychologyside of it there would be counselors these kids could talk to; on the music
side of it I would like to have to resources to allow kids to create, write, play, and
record music. I am a strong believer in the fact that music can be healing and a great
escape from your problems and my goal is to create a safe place for kids to go to

Pro Abortion Essay

  • 1. Pro Abortion Essay Writing an essay on the topic of "Pro Abortion" can be a challenging endeavor due to the sensitive nature of the subject. The issue of abortion is deeply polarizing, evoking strong emotions and beliefs on both sides of the argument. Crafting a persuasive and well-reasoned essay requires careful consideration of various perspectives, ethical concerns, legal aspects, and the impact on individuals and society. To begin with, one must navigate through a myriad of ethical dilemmas surrounding the right to life, bodily autonomy, and the potential consequences of abortion on mental and physical well- being. The complexity of the topic demands a nuanced understanding of different philosophical, religious, and cultural viewpoints. Additionally, delving into the legal landscape of abortion adds another layer of difficulty. Laws and regulations regarding abortion vary widely across different regions and countries, further complicating the analysis. A comprehensive essay must encompass historical context, landmark legal cases, and the ongoing debates surrounding reproductive rights. Moreover, addressing the socio-economic factors that contribute to the abortion discourse is essential. Exploring issues such as access to healthcare, education, and socioeconomic inequalities sheds light on the broader implications of abortion policies. Throughout the essay, maintaining a respectful and empathetic tone is crucial, considering the deeply personal nature of the topic. Striking a balance between presenting factual information and acknowledging the emotional aspects of the debate is challenging but necessary to foster understanding and constructive dialogue. In conclusion, writing a "Pro Abortion Essay" requires meticulous research, critical thinking, and a careful navigation of the ethical, legal, and socio-economic dimensions of the issue. Although this paper was not easy to write on, it has changed the world forever. The inventor of paper was born during the Han Dynasty. His name was Cai Lun. When he shared his invention of paper with the king, he was highly praised. With his praise, he also received money. Cai Lun died tragically in 121 AD, but his legacy has lived on. Although no one knows who made the magnetic compass, we know that it was made by fortune tellers. These fortune tellers used load stone to control their fortune cards. • 4. Biography Of Martin Luther King s Black Power Grace Wolfe, J00548214 Professor Taylor CAS 100 142 4 November 2015 Chapter 24 Epilogue pp. 341 348 Many people had imperceptible answers to the questions like, what did it all mean in the end and what were the accomplishments? Stokely Carmichael wrote a book called Black Power and in it he wrote about how black people in that time did not accept segregation. Martin Luther King also made important points in his speeches about segregation and how during this time black people decided to make a change. The movement in the Alabama Black Belt lasted the longest and many people do not acknowledge that fact. Even after all the protests started to fade away from the headlines, black people in Alabama continued to protest for freedom. Many black citizens in Alabama began to realize that there were other white people in Alabama who also wanted to end segregation. In Lowndes County, Alabama, there was a rich man who owned thousands of acres of land, named Harrell Hammonds. Hammonds was a probate judge who raised cattle and grew cotton on his farm. Hammonds was also an aristocratic politician. Many people noticed Hammonds as being against segregation. Hammonds argued in a court of law that everyone should be treated equally no matter the color of their skin. Later in his life, Hammonds also gave his support for black people to be able to get an equal education as white people. There was an unhappy ending to Hammonds support to end segregation. Many people threatened his life and
  • 5. Essay Comparing Hollow Men And Heart Of Darkness The poem by T.S. Elliot, The Hollow Men and the novel by Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness represent both nonchalance and insouciance. Both Elliot s hollow men and Conrad s Station Manager present an insightful rationale and emotional indifference as well as being bereft of discernible humanity. The two pieces underscore the crucial characteristics of both the station manger and the hollow menby exaggerating the details of their empty eyes as well as death s other kingdom, (III.8) of which they both reside in, their obscure characteristics and their emptiness. In the Heart of Darkness, the station manager is a very ordinary man who has no qualities that stand out from the norm. Despite, his generic actions, he encompasses the harmless face of evilness. His innate vagueness such as his and his ability to make the simplest phrases incapable of being understood. However, it can be noted that his main strength was being ambiguous. Marlow uses multiple paradoxes to describe his ambiguousness, such as He originated nothing...but he was great and he was neither civil nor uncivil. Likewise, the hollow men are quiet and meaningless, taking shape without form, shape without colour, paralysed force, [and] gesture without motion ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During my eighth grade year at Dawson Middle School, our school counselor encouraged all eighth graders to challenge themselves to writing an essay for the purpose of earning a $2,500 scholarship to the college of their choice. I chose the President of the United States, Barak Obama, because at the time I was inspired with his visionary approach to politics. He showed our world a new potential, even in the face of a distrusting nation. His own citizens distrusted him, yet he
  • 6. My Experience At The University Of Baghdad, College Of... Not long ago, I received a delightful phone call, it was from a patient I treated three years ago, he and his family wanted just to say hi, we missed you Doc. , isn t that one of the most beautiful thing someone can get in life? For me yes it is. I studied medicine in one of the top universities in the Middle East that is University of Baghdad, College of Medicine. My training was in Baghdad Medical Center, the biggest teaching hospital in Iraq, which provided me with the best teaching and training in the country. After graduation, I did my internship in several hospitals in Baghdad. During that time, my country went through crisis situations, with lack of many basic services and security. I faced a wide range of medical cases that needed to be managed under highly stressful conditions, which helped in developing my clinical and social skills. I was introduced to all specialties of medicine, and that was the time when Family Medicine started to be my biggest interest. Family physicians are not better than other doctors, but they are different. They continue to be the heart and soul of medicine. More than any other specialty, family doctors humanize the health care experience. Focusing their attention on the person, not just the disease, they are driven to develop relationships over generations with the patients and families they care for. Due to the continued security deterioration in my country, I had to travel to Jordan, and work as a general practitioner over there and
  • 7. Little Miss Sunshine Themes Little Miss Sunshine Movie Analysis 1. The makers of Little Miss Sunshine create meaning through utilizing music and close up camera shots. The film makers carefully choose what music to play during each scene, matching the type of music to the emotions the characters are feeling. For example, the music that plays in the introduction with Olive Hoover watching the Miss America Pageant sounds hopeful. This helps viewers understand her dream to become a beauty queen. The music played in the background as Frank faces the person who influences him to commit suicide gives off a feeling of loneliness and depression. The film makers use of close up shots come in key when showing direct emotions a character is feeling. For example, the close up shots of Richard Hoover during the Little Miss Sunshine Pageant contribute to the viewer s understanding of the overall theme of the movie. We can see shock ridden over Richard s face as each girl participating in the competition enters the stage. This emphasizes his realization of the unreal expectations and pressures on the girls to perform in a certain way, and we understand that influences his decision to try to get Olive to withdraw from the pageant. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are two kinds of people in the world, Olive s father Richard Hoover claims, winners and losers. Olive s father s expectation for everyone to be a winner and not a loser relates to the pressure in American society for everyone to be perfect. In reality, you have to be able to accept your imperfections. For example, Olive, slightly chubby and with a mismatched sense of style, aspires to become a beauty queen. The message that the film makers reveal is that individuality is more important than conforming to societies ideas of what makes a winner and what does

Bullying, the repeated attack on a person either verbally or physically with intention has changed the way we look at people in the twenty first century. With a whopping, one out of four people affected by this cause, we must find a way for it to be abolished and erased from all existence. The Bully movie has given me insight and perspective from this horrific occurrence, and has shaped the way I think about this phenomenon for many years to come. Let s be real, most people who get into internet marketing end up failing in one way or another. Failing looks different to different people. Some recover from their failures and come back stronger with more success, but most simply give up and run far, far away from anything to do with internet marketing. So...what exactly does failure look like in the world of online business and internet marketing? Does it look like not getting the instant money you were promised when you fell for that guru s lies? Does it look like you not getting to quit your job, buy your dream home and car, and move to the Bahamas within a few months of starting your first online business? NO!!! No, each and every one of those things I mentioned are not failures in my book. Those things not happening causes you to realize starting your own online business isn t as easy and effortless as many of those gurus try to convince you it is. In fact, in many cases, they don t want you to achieve what they promised because they re hoping you ll keep coming back and buying their fraudulent products as you continue to chase the dream lifestyle they are shoving in your face! • 12. Reactions And Reactions Of Redox Reactions Introduction: Without the millions of chemical reactions that occur every day, life would be completely different. An important class of common reactions includes those which involve the simultaneous transfer of electrons between chemicals, commonly referred to as redox reactions or oxidation reduction reactions. Redox reactions are whole reactions composed of two different half reactions known as oxidation (where electrons are lost) and reduction (where electrons are gained) (Chemguide, 2013). When there is an increase in the oxidation state, the reaction is oxidation; when there is a decrease, it is reduction. Oxidation cannot possibly occur without an affiliated reduction, and vice versa. Redox reactions are notated as such: Cu(s) пѓ Cu2+ + 2e In the half reaction above, a copper ion (with a plus 2 charge) is formed from the oxidation of solid copper (with no charge). The e in the equation is an electron which is free to reduce other chemical atoms, such as in the half reaction: 2Ag+(aq) + 2e пѓ 2Ag(s) Two electrons are added to the two silver ions in this half reaction, in order to produce a solid silver. These two half reactions can be combined to form a redox equation as follows: Cu(s) пѓ Cu2+(aq) + 2e 2 Ag+(aq) + 2e пѓ 2Ag(s) Cu(s) + 2Ag+(aq) + 2e пѓ Cu2+(aq) + 2Ag(s) + 2e OR Cu(s) + 2Ag+(aq) пѓ Cu2+(aq) + 2Ag(s) A

Romantics focused on the individual and emotion over reason. Nature is their biggest influence. Through nature romantics could be closer to a supreme being. When it came it religion, the romantics were drawn to Christianity, but did not consider themselves Christians. Therefore, I have chosen to answer this essay question, as I feel strongly about it. In the play, Shakespeare makes use of eavesdropping by using it as a comic device, but also to sort out situations so that the play is able to go on. I will be focussing upon two events in particular to show this. Each event will present a different form of eavesdropping being used. The first will be the gulling of Benedick and Beatrice (Act 2 Sc 3 Act 3 Sc 1). The second, when the Watch overhears Borachio and Conrade discussing the plot against Hero (Act 3 Sc 3). The main plot and sub plots are drawn together with this device, and to emphasise the importance of nothing from the title, the audience is unable to view the key episode, where Claudio and Don Pedro witness what they think is Hero s unfaithfulness. Instead, we immediately observe the Watch eavesdropping on Borachio. This is how eavesdropping determines the narrative line of the play, because without it the play wouldn t move on effectively. It is highly ironic that the word nothing in the play s title is a play on the word noting which in Elizabethan slang refers to eavesdropping . This reflects the importance of eavesdropping, as it is partly in the title of the play, and therefore must play a big part. Benedick is the first to be tricked by the other characters (Act 2 Sc 3). He hides from Don Pedro, Leonato and Claudio, these characters know that Benedick is hiding and so they start to lay the plot. They feel that Benedick and Beatrice would be right for eachother. The reason behind the trick is to bring Beatrice and Benedick together. At first, Benedick considers whether what he is hearing is true, Is t possible?.. I should think this a gull.. . Benedick is gullible and believes what he is hearing is true because the white bearded fellow speaks it . This

Brands identify the source or maker of a product and allow consumers to assign responsibility as to which particular manufacturer, distributor, or provider should be held accountable. More importantly, brands can take on special meaning to consumers. Because of past experiences with the product and its marketing program over the years, consumers learn about brands. They find out which brands satisfy their needs and which ones do not. As a result, brands provide a shorthand device or means of simplification for their product decisions. If consumers recognize a brand and have some knowledge about it, then they do not have to engage in a lot of additional thought or processing of information to make a product decision. Thus, from an economic perspective, brands allow consumers to lower search costs for products both internally (in terms of how much they have to think) and externally (in terms of how much they have to look around). Is it something inherited, or is it something learned? Anthony Burgess attempts to answer this question in his dystopian fiction, A Clockwork Orange. The novel, written during the Cold War, is a reflection of Burgess s viewpoint on Communism and its overall impact on society. Burgess was appalled at the degree to which the communist state controlled people s lives (Galens). He felt that when a man cannot choose he ceases to be a man (Burgess 63). Throughout the novel, Burgess tried to decide whether or not it is better to be forced to be good or choose to be evil. A Clockwork Orange shows that humans are inherently evil, but they have the potential to change as demonstrated with diction, use of imagery, and character development. Throughout the entire novel, Burgess tries to show that humans are naturally immoral. This is demonstrated through his diction. The language in the book, Nadsat, is a mixture between English and Russian, which allows Burgess to hide the darker events in the book. For example, while out with his gang, Alex and his friends run into a scholar, destroy his books, and beat him up. • 32. Taking On Multiple Perspectives For An American Adult The idea of taking on multiple perspectives can be applied to many scenarios, from making decisions as the president of a nation to running a day care. One of the most accessible perspectives for an American adult is the small business. By engaging in the perspective of other people at a business you either work at or are a customerat, you gain a certain understanding that makes you more relaxed and more pleasant. For example we can take an almost universal experience in the developed world, ordering food at a fast food restaurant. Let s say there is a line of customers during the lunch rush at your average fast food restaurant. The line is taking extraordinarily long because there is only one person running the register and one person ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Next in line is person B. Person B realizes that everyone in line is there for food and must be just as hungry as they are. He realizes that there are only two employees and that they are working very hard to serve as many people as they are, perhaps they have been in that situation. Person B has a greater understanding of the perspective of those around him and in turn is much calmer than person A. This example of taking on multiple perspectives shares in Zhuangzi s philosophy but is different from his examples. The closest example would be the story of the butcher. A good butcher changes his chopper every year because he chips it. And average butcher changes it every month because he breaks it (Zhuangzi, ch.3). This is demonstrating two people, doing essentially the same thing, but the way they do it makes their life more or less difficult. As the butchers gain a greater understanding of the oxen they become more proficient. When I first began cutting up oxen, I did not see anything but oxen. Three years later, I couldn t see the whole ox. And now, I encounter them with spirit and don t look with my eye ... That s why after nineteen years the blade of my chopper is still as though fresh from the grindstone. (Zhuangzi, Ch.3) In the restaurant example person B is a better customer than person A. In something as simple as being a customer it is safe to say that becoming irrationally upset would be analogous to

Is the abortion dilemma truly black and white? Abortion is one of the most common medical procedures performed in the United States each year. Nearly one in four of all pregnancies end in abortionequalling 42% of all yearly deaths around the world. For pro life supporters, they say that life begins at conception; the instant when a sperm cell unites with a egg cell. For pro choice supporters, they say at birth, a baby is a living human. At conception, they know it is something but they don t consider it a human life. Since 1973, the number of abortions has spiked drastically from over 700,000... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Others will object and say it is just a fetus. Millions of babies each year, die without even being born because of abortion. How should society respond to the huge increase in the amount of abortions over the past few years? Society needs to make a big change and make abortions illegal. People think it is acceptable to kill someone who doesn t even have a say yet. People think it is acceptable to put their rights before two other individuals. Why though? Why take what seems like the easy way out all the time? Society is showing people that it is okay to kill unborn fetuses. Society certainly needs an effective way of preventing abortions. But in the end, the fact that abortion has been legalized in America since 1973, shows that right now our problem is only going to get bigger and we need to do something about it

  • 36. Example Of Exothermic Reaction An exothermic reaction is one in which there is a release of energy (usually heat) from the system (Ashworth Little, 2001). In other words, the energy of the system decreases, and thus H is negative. Because heat is being transferred out of the system (i.e., the reaction requires no external energy source), exothermic reactions are self sustaining (Ashworth Little, 2001). Notable examples of exothermic reactions include combustionreactions, where oxygen(O2) reacts with another substance, usually to form carbon dioxide and water (CO2 + H2O) (Kung Lerner, 2014). Combustion can be seen in many facets of everyday life, from wood fires to the engines of many vehicles (the combustion of gasoline has the following chemical equation: 2C8H18 + 25O2 + 2N2 12CO2 + 4CO + 4NO + 18H2O + heat this illustrates the convention of placing heat in a chemical equation, which, if listed as a product, is an indicator of an exothermic reaction; this equation is also an example of incomplete combustion, since an ideal combustion reaction would have no products save carbon dioxide and water; often, the oxygen fueling a combustion reaction is consumed before complete combustion can occur (Lew, 2015)). On a smaller scale, exothermic reactions can be used to create heating devices such as hand warmers, which can be calibrated (by analyzing the change in heat of the chemicals involved in the device) to produce an optimal amount of heat. [SOME MORE] Endothermic reactions, conversely, are

Positive Illusions And Negative Illusions Positive illusions are unrealistic, biased attitudes that individuals have about themselves and towards other individuals, normally close friends or family members. Positive illusions is a perception that represents what is perceived in a way different from the way it is in reality. An illusion is a false mental image or conception which may be a misinterpretation of a real appearance or may be something imagined. It may be pleasing, harmless or even useful (Stein, 1982, p 662). The more positive illusionsthe higher self esteem an individual has. It should be noted that positive illusions are more common in western countries than other parts of the world. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention says that suicide is the 10th leading cause of deaths in the USA and that 42773 American dies every year. Research shows that suicide happens to any race, gender or age. The belief is that people who talk about suicided aren t really going to go through with it; this belief is completely false. Often suicidal people make subtle hints leading up to the event. Some subtle hints include: I know where my dad s gun is if I ever need it, I have the perfect plan to end it all, I wonder what that chemical taste like or, I wonder what it feels like to bleed out and leave forever. Others often discuss their depression and how there isn t anything to live for. Another false belief is suicide cannot be prevented. If an individual gets help early enough for the depression and suicidal thought Suicide begins as a chain of events. First, the individual feels worthless and inadequate.

One compound in particular which is found in sponges, Papuamide A, has been reported to have cytoprotective activity against HIV 1 in vitro. There are many other representatives that can be found in the same class as Papuamide A; however, due to the slight change in their structure, the way they effect HIVis different. Papuamide A exhibits a potent inhibitory effect on the infection of T Lymphoblastoid cells by HIV and has been able to combat against drug resistant HIV strains. Introduction. Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV 1) has infected over 33.2 million people world wide to date [9]. There is a plethora of new and upcoming drugs that are being used to combat against human immunodeficiency virus. Although effective, the drugs that are being used to combat against HIV 1 have also been known to cause resistance, adverse effects and toxicity to the mitochondria [3]. HIV 1 is a retrovirus that belongs to a subfamily of retroviruses called lentiviruses [8]. HIV 1 causes a slow depletion of the immune system and is considered a slow degenerative disease. New drugs that combat against HIV 1 entering into different cells has raised interest due to the fact that these new drugs are able to work against drug resistant viruses that can infect the cell. Glycoprotein 120 (gp 120) is necessary for virus entry into human cells. Gp 120 has a

Becoming A Counselor, Therapist, Or Psychiatrist As a sophomore in college, I have a good idea what my current career goal is, related to my major in psychology, and how I think an internship will help me reach this goal. My overall career goal, or dream, is to combine my love and passion for music with my desire to help people. My major in psychology is how I plan on reaching my goal of helping people by possibly becoming a counselor, therapist, or psychiatrist. The main group of people I am interesting in helping are kids and teenagers with family issues, personal issues, and mental disorders, such as depression and anxiety for example. This passion comes for personal experience with these issues and with witnessing people close to me and people I love struggle with these issues; those experiences sparked a fire inside me and I am determined not to let that fire be doused. In further detail, what I would love to accomplish with my goal of combining music and counseling is to start a nonprofit organization where kids and teenagers with mental disorders and other related issues can go. On the psychologyside of it there would be counselors these kids could talk to; on the music side of it I would like to have to resources to allow kids to create, write, play, and record music. I am a strong believer in the fact that music can be healing and a great escape from your problems and my goal is to create a safe place for kids to go to deal with their issues and find healing. I believethat this nonprofit internship opportunity
