This document presents a system for balancing energy usage in a smart home infrastructure. The system aims to make a smart system to compare light bills and allow controlling IoT devices on or off from anywhere. The system architecture involves using Arduino, sensors, relays, Bluetooth and a mobile application. The data will be stored on cloud services like Firebase. A literature survey found existing systems have issues with communication and costs that this proposed system aims to address by monitoring home equipment usage and allowing remote control of devices to optimize energy utilization.

The existing energy meter system has
many problems associated to it and one
of the key problem is there is no full
duplex communication. To solve this
problem, a smart energy meter is
proposed based on Internet of Things
(loT).
11. Conclusion
Hence we are overcoming the drawback of existing system. we are monitoring home
equipment's and their unit uses by particular equipment. We can easily on or off devices from
anywhere in home also we handle the data that is placed on cloud from anywhere
