AMW shines a 'Ray' on the scooter market
•Associated Motorways (Private) Limited is
set to bring Yamaha's global sensation in
the scooter market to Sri Lanka.
•The Yamaha Ray, was the winner of the
coveted CNB ‘Scooter of the Year’ 2012/13
Award in a successful year of accolades.
•In 2013, there was an increase in demand
in the domestic scooter market, in different
regions of Sri Lanka. The Yamaha Ray is a
valuable proposition that catered to this
need with the proven world-class
engineering process.
Hero MotoCorp launches new brand identity in
Sri Lanka
 India's largest two-wheeler maker Hero
MotoCorp, forayed into the international market
under its newly incorporated brand identity by
launching as many as 14 models in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka has been a very important market for
us, and we have a loyal customer base in this
country
The Sri Lankan market plays a significant role in
the company's plans to expand its global footprint
and so it has chosen the country as the first
international market to launch the new brand
identity
TVS Lanka launches new campaign for
“Wego”
 TVS Lanka, the premier automotive company
specialized in scooters, launched its brand-new
campaign for TVS Wego.
TVS Lanka, the technological leader in the Scooter
market with a large array of Scooters; Scooty Pep,
Scooty Streak, WEGO and Jupiter, which is the latest
addition in Sri Lanka
 TVS Wego brand became the best among the
category of scooters in TVS and as well as in the
industry.
TVS Motor Company has the unique distinction
within automotive industry, of being the only two-
wheeler manufacturer to have been awarded the
Prestigious Deming Award in 2002.
Mahindra Gusto and Rodeo UZO 125 launched
in Sri Lanka in 2014
 Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. has launched
the new Mahindra Gusto and Rodeo UZO
125 in the Sri Lankan market
 Sri lanka’s market required an automatic
scooter but well established rivals mean
anything less than a top-notch product
would be treated with sheer indifference.
 The increase in demand due to different
consumption of people made such brand
extension by Mahindra.

AMW shines a 'Ray' on the scooter market •Associated Motorways (Private) Limited is set to bring Yamaha's global sensation in the scooter market to Sri Lanka. •The Yamaha Ray, was the winner of the coveted CNB ‘Scooter of the Year’ 2012/13 Award in a successful year of accolades. •In 2013, there was an increase in demand in the domestic scooter market, in different regions of Sri Lanka. The Yamaha Ray is a valuable proposition that catered to this need with the proven world-class engineering process.
