Nietzsche s Morals
In 1887, philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche had written a collection of essays entitled The Genealogy of
Morals. Nietzsche ideas was an inscribed assessment based upon ethical principles. Nietzsche
analyzes the connections and significance of the contrasting moral concepts in a distinctive section
where he elaborates on the good and the bad as well as the good and evil , by expressing his thoughts
on slave morality that was created by the Jews.
In the beginning, Nietzsche states that the priest is worthless and that they learn to hate. The priest
hatred is powerful that it causes them to be destructive and it is known throughout history. Nietzsche
compares the Jews to the priest caste who were the most hated in human history. The Jews somehow
managed to reverse the moral assessments associating themselves as good but, the powerful nobles
will be known as evil and damned for eternity. However, Nietzsche said, It was the Jews who started
the slave revolt in morals (445)
In the following section, Nietzsche explains that the reassessment of values effected by the Jews was
occurring and that they were not noticeable. One of their achievements was the development of the
religious teachings Christianity. He states that the Christian love violated the Jewish hatred and that
the representation of Jesus and his crucifixion was the persuasion of the moral code. The embodiment
and crucifixion of Jesus showed that annulment of the moral code, was once good became evil and

Ethical Issues In The Tale Of Genji
For example most men considered good reasoning, statecraft among others. Men were in top
leadership positions. Women were not permitted to try and let female relatives to get a look at them.
She got away from the gaze of any man whom she was not identified with. These demonstrate that the
overseeing body was made of chauvinists who saw women as lesser creatures than men. Men enabled
women to acquire and pass on property (Kido, p 68). In the Tale of Genji, author demonstrated that
women would be very educated and achieve many things. They were educated different courses other
than those instructed to men. The Men in this tale had likewise been given a more noteworthy level of
sexual permit than their women. Women in this tale were told to maintain ... Show more content on

The perspective of ethical quality in our cutting edge society indicates like sentiments with those of
the tale.
Women openings were restricted by polygamy. There s just a single particular law of marriage that
administered them, and it s that men couldn t have two formal wives. This didn t keep men from going
to a ton of different women, which gives a great part of the storyline behind the Genji being a Don
Juan (The Tale of Genji; p 30). Likewise, this sort of custom of men having a polygamous nature isn t
viewed as discourteous amid this time. Waka couplets in The Tale of Genji; have special commitment
towards the hugeness of the story. In The Tale of Genji, waka poetry overruns each part of life from
romance to court custom to artistic enjoyment; and as a result of these capacities, the waka is quickly
fused into the Heian exposition narrative (Damrosch and Pike, p 223). Nearer reading of the waka
couplets in The Tale of Genji; makes it apparent that they contribute not just to the excellence of style
yet additionally to the making of a lyrical method of portrayal (The Tale of Genji; p 41). The multi
meaning and double working of many words in the waka make a thickness of allusions.

Leading Change Analysis
Week Four Discussion Forum
In this week s reading assignment in the book, Leading Change, by Mr. Kotter, I gained additional
insight in regards to aligning different parts of the business to result in a better outcome.
The first concept from this week s reading that resonated with me was in the interdependence section
of Chapter 9. The author outlines a company that has clear visibility and ownership allowing the
company to control the manufacturing, sales, marketing, and development. This is an optimal solution
in order to control your quality and speed. The part that I found interesting is that not many companies
have this capability anymore because it is not fast, customer focused and less costly. Garmin is
currently set up in this manner; owning its own manufacturing facilities and having its own marketing
agency in the building. My opinion is that because of this the company can quickly turn and change it
strategies with the market. This in contrast to the authors. At least in my experience when dealing with
third party companies there is a higher cost and slower timeline to change scope with the market. Let

have an fast acceptance in the market, we stuck with it in hopes that the market share would increase.
Two years later we have launched our second generation product, but we are making many of the
similar mistakes that lead to our decreased in sales from the initial product offering. I felt that

Essay On Radical Republicans
Radical Republicans believed that blacks were entitled to equal political opportunities and rights as
whites. They also believed that Confederate leaders should be punished for what they did in the Civil
War. People like representative Thaddeus Stevens and Senator Charles Sumner were extremely against
Andrew Johnson s lenient policies and thought the federal government stuck its nose in state affairs
too much. However, they grew tired of waiting for a change and took a direct intervention into state
affairs. These Radicals believed that blacks must be given the chance to engage in a free labor
economy. In 1866, Congress created a bill to prolong the existence of the Freedmen s Bureau and then
began to develop a Civil Rights bill. However, President Johnson was completely against it and vetoed
the Freedmen s Bureau Bill. He said it would make the government too big. He also vetoed the Civil
Rights Bill. Many Republicans were flabbergasted at how racist Johnson was. With this in mind, they
joined up with the Radicals to overturn his Civil Rights Act veto. ... Show more content on

Many people knew that Congress was just looking for a way to get rid of him since he was not a very
cooperative President. When Johnson tried to remove Stanton it was in direct violation of the Tenure
of Office Act. Nine of the articles of impeachment were because of Johnson s removal of Stanton and
the other two charged Johnson with disgrace of Congress. However, other factors came into play and
things started to unfold. At this time there was not a Vice President to take his place and the next in
line for Presidency was a Radical by the name of Benjamin Wade and he was not well liked by many
people. Also, Johnson s backers assured them that the Radicals Southern policies would be approved.
In May 1868, 35 Senators voted but they were one vote short of the required 2/3 majority. They found
Johnson not guilty and he lived out his

The Apology Of Socrates
The Apology of Socrates is a Plato s version of speeches given by Socrates who was accused for two
main reasons: the corruption of the youth and impiety (not believing in gods in whom the city
believes). In the Apology Socrates tries to defend himself and his actions but not to apologize for it.
He insisted that he must be wiser than others because he knows and recognizes that knows nothing.
The Apology by Plato shows that there is a great influence of Socrates in searching for the truth about
humanity and society even when his attempt contradicted with the opinions of the many .

Socrates tells them that he will speak the truth, and pleads the judges to think of the justice of his
cause but not minding the style of his speech. In making his defense, Socrates will reply to two kinds
of accusations. At first, he refers to the older charges and his first accusers, and secondly he replies to
the accusations made by Meletus, Anytus, and Lycon. He was afraid of the older accusers most of all
and the reason behind this dread was that his accusers were many and he couldn t call them all by
name. These accusers falsely claims can be summed up in the following words: Socrates is an evil
doer, and a curious person, who searches into things under the earth and in heaven, and he makes the
worse appear the better cause; and he teaches the aforesaid doctrines to others. He responses to these
falsehoods by arguing that he has nothing to do with the physical sciences nor is he paid for giving
instruction he has nothing to teach. He then goes on to explain how he gained such a bad reputation.
The impetuous Chaerephon had gone to Delphi and asked the oracle if there was any man wiser than
Socrates; and the answer was, that there was no man wiser. After a long consideration Socrates thinks
of a method of trying a question. He goes to one who had the reputation of wisdom and selects a
politician for

Impact On The British Invasion
The British Invasion took place during the mid 1960 s. British musicians began to look toward their
American counterparts for inspiration, copying their styles and advertising to fans in the United States.
By this point, British youth had been interested in American rock and roll since the 1950 s, captivated
by its pronounced beats and suggestive lyrics (Robbins). However, Britain did not have the same
musical background as the United States. In the States, rock and roll emerged from a coalescence of
Country and Western, Rhythm and Blues, and Pop music (Stuessy). Because of this, rock from the
United States had deep roots, while rock from Britain before the mid 1960 s lacked depth and was
simply an imitation. Eventually, rock began to take off in Britain from two main locations: Liverpool
and London. This music became insanely popular in both Britain and the United States (Robbins).
When studying the British Invasion, it is important to analyze the musical differences between
Liverpool and London, as well as look at why this music became so popular in the United States.
Due to Britain s obsession with rock and roll, skiffle became popular once again. Skiffle is a type of
music originating from jug bands and requires minimal instruments. Many skiffle bands used a guitar,
banjo, and rudimentary instruments such as a kazoo (Williams). The ever popular Beatles got their
start as a skiffle band titled The Quarrymen in the town of Liverpool, England. The Quarrymen was

The Hypocrisy Of The Upper Class By Edith Wharton
Edith Wharton s novel, House of Mirth, develops a critical view of the immorality of the upper class
through Lily Bart and her failure to fully attain social mobility. Wharton comments on the corruption
of the upper class, and implies that the acquisition of wealth and social status comes at the cost of a
compromised moral sense. While some wealthy individuals may not necessarily be corrupt, it is clear
that the upper class as a whole is primarily concerned with self preservation and personal gain. This
narcissism in the higher classes often leads to a blatant disregard of others, accompanied by a lack of
understanding of the consequences of their actions. Thus, the social elite are often plagued with
corruption and immorality, as evidenced throughout the novel. Wealth brings power and status to the
social elite, and ultimately becomes the source of their corruption. Perhaps the best example of this is
Bertha Dorset. In the beginning of the novel, as Lily is contemplating her gambling debts at
Bellomont, she considers how envious she is of Dorset, who she describes as a woman who could take
a man up and toss him aside as she willed, without having to regard him as a possible factor in her
plans (Wharton). Unlike Lily, Bertha s wealth gives her financial security, and thus has no real
necessity to win over the affections of men. As such, she has significantly less social grace than Lily.
Judy Trenor even characterizes Bertha as the type of woman who delights in making

A Writers Style Essay
The Pulitzer Prize winning writer N. Scott Momaday has become known as a very distinctive writer
who depicts the stories of the Native American life in almost poetic ways. He does an excellent job of
transporting the reader from the black and white pages of a book, to a world where every detail is
pointed out and every emotion felt when reading one of Momaday s books or other writings. This
style of writing that Momaday uses is very evident in his work The Way to Rainy Mountain, and made
even more apparent by reading a review of the book House Made of Dawn found on a web site run by
HarperCollins Publishers.

One aspect of the essay The Way to Rainy Mountain that I found somewhat distracting was when
Momaday would move off of the obvious aspect of his journey home. Even though I very much
enjoyed the amazing descriptions that he used in telling of the lands from where his people came, I
found it hard to grasp the purpose behind the side stories that were being told. I had latched onto the
story of him returning home to his grandmother s grave since that was the first aspect presented to me
as the reader. Once I had read the text over and studied it a little more deeply, I realized that the
purpose of the story was not to tell of Momaday s journey back to rainy mountain, but to tell the story
of the Kiowa s journey to Rainy Mountain. I thought it was a little distracting the first time I read
because I was distracted by all of the information that Momaday was telling about the Kiowa people
and their history. I kept expecting to hear of his trip back to Rainy Mountain and what he was
experiencing during this time. As I said before, it was not until I went back and reread the essay did I
catch on about the true point to the story. This might have been avoided if Momaday had made it
clearer that the focus of the story was on the Kiowa people and not his journey back to see his
grandmother s grave. Once I understood this

A Study On Diabetes Mellitus
Part A 1. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (previously described as non insulin dependent diabetes) is a
condition due to hyperglycemia that accompanies a relative rather than an absolute insulin deficiency.
It appears as a consequence of the alteration (genetically inherited or acquired) of insulin secretion,
sometimes associated with peripheral insulin resistance.
Impaired ability to absorb certain macronutrients such as carbohydrates, lipids and proteins can lead to
a large spectrum of chronic complications that involve more or less all tissues of the human body.
Globally, an estimated 422 million adults are living with diabetes mellitus, according to the latest 2016
data from the World Health Organization. Diabetes Mellitus affects an estimated 29.1 million people
in the United States and is the 7th leading cause of death.
T2DM includes a heterogeneous group of diseases that associate in different degrees two major
metabolic defects: beta cell insulin secretion defect and insulin resistance of the peripheral tissues.
Obesity and insulin resistance are characteristic for the majority (80 90%) of T2DM cases (Obese
T2DM). The sine qua non condition for the progression from the preclinical phases (prediabetes) to
the overt hyperglycemia stages is represented by the presence of the insulin secretion beta cell defect.
A lack of compensation for insulin resistance will lead to evolution towards T2DM. The first sign of

Methods: Spontaneous speech samples were collected from twenty seven children who had been using
a cochlear implant for at least 8 years and had at least two speech samples available from previous

Theme Betrayal for Flowering Judas Essay
Judas Iscariot, the disciple, hanged himself from a tree after betraying Jesus Christ and giving him a

and Western Asia. In the short story Flowering Judas written by Katherine Anne Porter the title is
related to this religious event of betrayal, murder, and denial. Flowering Judas is possibly her most
remarkable story of tension, sustained, threatened, and reestablished (Gottfried 134). The two main

By asking Braggioni Have you a new song for me this evening? (Porter 1692). But inside of her she

Of nine hundred Nobel Prize winners, forty eight have been women and only fourteen women have
won the prize for literature. Both the ethnicity and the literary canon of the laureates is far from
diverse. In the past, many questions were raised as to why one person was chosen to join this
exclusive club over another. Svetlana Alexieviech won for her moving documentation of the struggles
the people of Pripyat and the soldiers faced in their lives after the nuclear tragedy. Choosing her to

Sigrid Undset and Pearl Buck won the Nobel Prize in Literature for their historical accounts (Jewell

history of witnesses of the nuclear accident at Chernobyl. All of these works were historical and
nonfiction in subject matter, as befits the trend among female Nobel Prize laureates. Additionally,
Voices from Chernobyl was written in a journal like fashion. Its many entries about the philosophies
and lives of the people who had lived through the Chernobyl reactor explosion are similar to the travel
writings by Selma Lagerlof (Jewell 108). Both works are written to describe the lives of their subjects
realistically. The previous works by female laureates in literature are similar to Svetlana Alexievich s
work because they tend not to be fictional. According to Richard Jewell, there is a propensity to not

current and historical awarding of the Nobel Prize. Yet it is who the subjects are and what they

The Errors And Its Effects On The New Way Of View Life
The errors I am most guilty of committing frequently would be, filtering out the positive, unreal ideal,
and labeling. I never know the terminology for these habits until now. When reading the article, I
could picture scenarios when I committed these errors.
I have tendency of labeling everything! When I first moved to America, labeling/grouping items,
people and so on really helped to simplify this new journey. Over the years I am realizing that that s a
poor way of view life. I tend to label people, places, and etc. with little or no interacting. The last year
there has been a lot in the media about police brutality and unfair treated for African American and
minorities in general. When watching the news, I would make a state like these police officers are evil
and out of control. , these officers are all racist and so on. Stating comments like these are completely
unfair. Putting all officers in the same category is small minded and doesn t solve the problem facing
us today. On top of that am implanting those false beliefs onto my little brother.
Filtering out the positive was my second one. It doesn t matter how much I accomplish or do, all I
focus on is what I could of them better. The first week of the semester I had to give a speech in a
communication class. I was really nervous and shy, but the speech went really well until the end. For
some reason I looked and froze, I then started to stutter on some of the words. Although the overall of
the speech went well

Managed Care Organizations Case Study
Impact of Disease Management Programs within Managed Care Organizations As we all know
Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) have one major goal, and that is to save money. Whether it is
by reducing care, incentivizing doctor s or advertising, they are pursuing their goal. In fact, we all
know that back in the 70s the rise of healthcare cost pushed this initiative, and that although it has
been criticized over the years, it has proven to some extent that it does reduce cost, to the point that
Medicaid and Medicare have adopted their model. However, despite all the efforts, healthcare costs
continued to rise, and skepticism arose. In fact, it wasn t long until people were saying that managed
care had failed. Furthermore, a new tool was developed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, one of the biggest struggles of DM programs is that they need to ensure that their care model
fosters patient provider relationship, and they should clearly define the patient population so that
results can be replicated; therefore, avoiding healthcare disparities in the delivery of disease
management programs ( Faxon et al, 2004). More so, in an article by Faxon (2004), he states that
future challenges for DM programs revolve around reimbursement policy designs and integration of
DM in the public. I am not clear whether this has occurred in the past ten years. However, it is obvious
that disease management emerged as a potential strategy to enhance the quality of care received by
patients suffering from one or more chronic conditions, and to improve the efficiency of the delivery
of healthcare services by maintaining or improving quality while reducing costs (Faxon et al, 2004).
However, I consider that in order to make this sustainable, disease management companies should try
not to make the same marketing mistake than MCOs did. In fact I completely agree with Faxon et al
(2004) when they state that evaluations of disease management programs should not be based solely
on their ability to reduce healthcare expenditures. More so, the best way to obtain complete buy in for
this program is to focus on quality of care and patient outcomes;

CEO at 22. I was thrown in the deep end, quite literally. Physicians, PAs, and nurses who were once

new appointment as the chief executive officer at HUDA Free Clinic. I was suddenly expected to have
all of the answers, a seemingly tall order at a time when the clinic was forced to rediscover its niche in
light of the Affordable Care Act. I realized that undertaking this task would be a part of my
progression towards becoming a better and stronger person. It served as a crucible for this phase of my
life, that would prepare me for the journey ahead.
I found the need to reinvent HUDA Clinic as a whole, which entailed adapting its policies to the
changing landscape of healthcare. I learned quickly that I d need to broaden HUDA s vision, in that a
solely primary care clinic was no longer the answer. Rather, HUDA would need to offer those services
that continue to remain inaccessible and unaffordable. Working alongside physicians, I was able to
expand our dental clinic, and introduced psychiatry and podiatry services. I recruited more volunteer
physicians, enabling us to expand our services. Today, the organization is able to serve a considerably

The Impact Of Money On An African Subsistence Economy
Ethnography Review Paper
Throughout history, money and the nature money have been defined and redefined from economist to
economist, however, at its foundation, money serves as a standard of valuation, a means of exchange,
and a mode of payment. Of course, not all societies subscribe to this rigid definition of currency
because cultures have existed with economies based on barter or currencies that don t meet the
conventional interpretation of money, and in the case of the Tiv culture, both general and special
purpose currencies have existed for the trading of different types of goods. In Paul Bohannon s article,
The Impact of Money on an African Subsistence Economy , he argues that the introduction of a
general purpose currency fundamentally changed the nature of Tiv culture because it altered their
previously multi centric economy and changed their traditional methodology of trading and valuation
of categories of goods. Bohannon s ethnography of the Tiv culture and their economic history opens
with a simple analysis of contemporary definitions of money and an explanation of the concept of
general purpose money . According to Bohannon s article, economists have frequently approached the
topic of currency incorrectly when it came to economies in more foreign cultures because they lacked
more elastic definitions of currency. Not all cultures have a singular, general purpose currency that fits
all three of the aforementioned foundations of money because like the Tiv,

Irony In Law Enforcement
Ride Along On November 3, 2015, from 6 pm 3 am, I conducted my ride along with Grand Island
Police Department. I Rode with Police Officer Justin Roehrich #436. Officer Roehrich is 23 years old,
a Grand Island native who graduated from Northwest High school. The irony in this is I actually tested
for GIPD with Roercih and another Officer Rodriguez back in 2013. Officer Roehrich has been with
the GIPD about 2 years, he has also been on the road for a year now. After conducting the ride along, I
can say that a good part of the text is similar in its depiction of law enforcement. At this time, I cannot
come up with any differences from the text to real world. Except it does talk about all the political
debauchery that goes along with this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It started with both of us witnessing a dark colored late model Mustang, traveling at excessive speed
down Wheeler Ave. In fact my exact words were, Oh look at that dipshit! After confirming radar of
what we had both seen, lights and siren were activated. The suspect vehicle pulled over a block later
on one of the side streets. At first this would have seemed routine, but that change every few minutes.
The driver did not have a valid license, or proof of ownership, he did not have insurance. Another
officer responded shortly and began speaking to the passenger of the vehicle. Both Officers were
convinced something was off about the individuals. They had to run the drivers name multiply times
in multiple states to no avail. Come to finds out he wasn t giving them his full name, after the proper
name was used to search it came back the driver was a convicted felon. The passenger had nothing on
record so they released him on his own. But after they decided to detain and arrest the driver, an
inventory search yielded a firearm in the trunk of the vehicle. The driver was charged with possession
of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person 28 1206, defaced firearm 28 1207, and possession of a

passenger who left midway through the entire series of events. They later returned with the fine young

Symptoms Of Manic Depressive Disorder
Manic disorder, also known as bipolar disorder, is an illness classified by extreme mood swings from
energetic to fatigue, or agitated to happy (vice versa). These occurrences of mood swings can last from
a few hours to a few months. Some may even feel happy but depressed at the same time (Watson,
2016). Over 5 million people in the United States struggle with this disorder while symptoms of mania
and bipolar I or II cannot be easily diagnosed (Watson, 2016). Most people tend to become diagnosed
with this disorder around the age of 25 years old (National Institute of Mental Health). Manic disorder

Known and Suspected Cause of Manic Depressive Disorder
Biological Causes of Manic Depressive Disorder There are no known humanistic or Socio Cultural
explanations of manic depressive disorder and no exact causes of manic disorder. However, there are
contributing factors that could potentially be causes (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2017). Manic depressive
disorder can run in families and can be caused by genetic factors (May Clinic Staff, 2017). It has been
discovered that about 50% of people diagnosed with this disorder also has a family member with a
mood disorder (Bressert, 2016). Usually, if a parent has this disorder, the child is has a 10% 15%
chance of developing the disorder. However, if both parents have manic disorder, then the chances
increase to 30% 40% (Bressert, 2016). Manic disorder is categorized as a biological disorder that
occurs in the brain. It is caused by neurotransmitters dysfunctioning throughout the brain. Types of
neurotransmitters can include: norepinephrine, serotonin, etc... Since this is a biological disorder, it
can become active by itself or by psychological stress and social interactions (Bressert, 2016).
Behavioral Causes of Manic Depressive Disorder
Environmental factors can also contribute to activating this disorder. Life events can activate this
disorder, along with altered health habits, alcohol and drug abuse, or an inefficiency of hormones in
the brain (Bressert, 2016). Additional factors that can cause a manic

Retirement Planning Research Paper
There are many people who will offer you a retirement planning tip to help you achieve the retirement
you ve always wanted. Of course, not all this information is good. First of all, you need to realize that
the most important part of your retirement planning is your investing.
Most people pay very little attention to their investing activity, and simply let their employer handle
where their 401k and other retirement money goes. Knowing this information yourself is crucial,
because without understanding investing and knowing the best places to put your money, you will
never achieve your retirement goals and lifestyle.
Of course, without having a specific plan in place, investing is all but useless. First of all, you need

For instance, if you need $1 million in the bank by 2030, your investing choices will be different than
if you knew that you only needed $300,000 in the bank.
The main point is to find out how much money you will need when you retire, and find the right
investment vehicle for you to help get you there. Of course, this vehicle will be different for
everybody depending on their retirement needs; there is no right or wrong answer to where you invest.
You can invest in real state, the stock market, mutual funds, bonds, etc. It really doesn t matter.
When you invest however, remember that the bottom line is always about the numbers. This is the
number one retirement planning tip that just about everybody misses. Believe it or not, most investors
never look at the financial situation behind the investment they are considering.
For example, in the stock market, many investors will simply look at how a stock price of the
company s doing, and jump aboard only because the price is going up. There may be no profits at all
behind that particular company (in fact there often aren t) but they will still invest anyway, because
their stock broker call them up and told them

Spinach Lab Report
To test the rate of photosynthesis in spinach leaves, we placed a spinach thylakoids mixed with
dichlorophenol indophenol (DPIP) in front of various lights treatments. In total, there were 5 cuvettes
which all received different lighting. One was a control which contained no thylakoids, another had no
light at all, the third cuvette was completely open to all possible light, the fourth was covered with a
green translucent paper, and the final cuvette was covered with a red translucent paper. In five minute
intervals, the transmittance was measured using a spectrophotometer which allowed the rate of
photosynthesis to be measured. Upon completion of this lab, the white light produced the highest rate
of transmittance shortly followed by the red light and then the green light. The thylakoids that

The Importance Of Learning A New Language
Importance of Learning a New Language
All over the world there is around 6,500 languages. Even so in America approximately 20% of
Americans speak another language other than English. This number is relatively low. Learning a new
language is and can be very beneficial. By learning a new language you can meet more people, have
more job opportunities, and introduce yourself to new cultures. Therefore, every person should make
it a life goal to learn another language excluding their native language.
First of all, Learning a new language gives you many more career and college choices. Considering
the fact that not a lot of Americans speak any other languages then Spanish it is rare and a rare skill to
have. Speaking another language looks great on job and college applications. Taking a language SAT
during high school makes your college application stand out, which will increase your chances of
getting into a good college.Alao for college admissions there is a number of scholarships for bilingual
students. This is a great reason to learn a new language because college can get very expensive but is a
thing that is almost necessary. Also the amount of jobs that can use bilingual employees is getting
higher and higher. For example when children move from foreign countries, they are placed in schools
where they can t speak the language, therefore they aren t able to understand teachers or other students
to make new friends. So, to help out the kids they get a special

Whey Protein Research Paper
In the world of protein you will find that there are 4 primary types available with each having its own
unique set of benefits and problems. Below, I am going to discuss the different types and how they
should and shouldn t be used.
Whey Protein
Whey protein is by and large the most popular and arguably the best type of protein and/or supplement
on the market today. Often called the gold standard of protein, whey is a total protein meaning it
contains all of the necessary amino acids due to its Branched chain amino acids structure (BCAA s).
BCAA s are naturally occurring molecules (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) that the body uses to build
proteins. The term branched chain refers to the molecular structure of these particular amino ... Show

Studies have demonstrated that casein protein can sustain the body with a regular supply of amino
acids for at least seven hours, making casein the most anabolic protein, even more than whey. The
rationale behind this is really because casein forms a gel in acidic environments like the stomach, and
so releases a steady supply of amino acids into the bloodstream, permitting your body to remain
anabolic.
Since casein is kind of a slow digesting protein, consuming 30 50 grams before bed will stop
catabolism while you re asleep. You may also consume casein protein across the day, just never after a
workout. Post workout protein should be soaked up fast into the bloodstream, making casein a
particularly bad choice. Casein protein can be taken pre workout as well, but this would not be the
best use. A better pre workout shake would be to mix together a blend of casein and whey protein, thus
permitting you to drink it inside thirty minutes of your workout.
Milk contains over 80% casein protein, so mixing whey protein with milk will not only make your
shake taste better but it will give you a make shift time release formula, effective straight away and
sustaining for hours to come. Also, mixing your casein with milk before bed will ensure you stay anti
catabolic across the

The Arguments For The Existence Of God
Amie Kamara
Professor Davidson
Theology
16 November 2015
Rough Draft for The arguments for the Existence of God. The question Does God Exist? is a well
known asked question in the world. Most people believe they know the answer to it. The religious
people would say, well of course he does, while the non religious people or atheist would say no He
does not exist. Because evil exist and chaos exists, God cannot be all powerful. In the modern world,
there are many different opinions as to whether a God exists or not. This has been an issue of great
dispute because many people reverence different gods or no god at all. For years, many philosophers
have come up with theories, proofs, and hypotheses to prove the existence of God, and a canon of
arguments has been developed. The Arguments for the Existence of God sets out to explain the
everyday philosophical arguments for theism, and so to explore the case for the existence of God. The
arguments themselves are arranged under the following headings: The Ontological Argument, The
Cosmological Argument, The Teleological Argument, and The Moral Argument will determine if there
really is a God.
The ontological argument
An argument that attempts to prove the existence of God through abstract reasoning alone is known as
the Ontological argument. The argument begins with a clear explanation of the concept of God. When
people talk or think about God they usually think or say that he s a perfect being meaning He is
flawless, ideal

President Reagan s Iran-Contra Affair
The Iran Contra affair can be described as the type of event expected to give rise to a demonstration of
public support for the president. However, this incident had the opposite effect. The public s response
to the Iran Contra affair led to a sharp decrease in the support of President Reagan. Due to President
Reagan s role in the political scandal of aiding armed conflict in Nicaragua, the United States
Congress used its constitutional power to investigate and check the role of the executive branch. The
impact of this congressional oversight highlights the checks and balances the Founder s instilled in our
political government during our nation s conception. Beginning on May 5th, 1987, most of America

Oliver North became an American obsession even though he was convicted of charges related to the
affair, with the public making dolls, shirts, and even sandwiches as a tribute to him. It seemed as if the
Iran Contra hearings were more of a last hurrah of the numerous Congressional hearings being held in
Congress rather than evidence of the hearings efficacy. Compared to other hearings, the Iran Contra
affair involved deeper partisan divides (Brown University). Party divides created conflict through the
congressional hearings, with Republicans defending and supporting the administration and Democrats
united in an attack against the administration. One of the minority members of the House Select
Committee charged with investigating the Iran Contra affair, Bill McCollum, made this statement,
Partisan bickering was the most distressing thing about the hearings. It got in the way of our purpose,
which was to bring out the facts, to determine the President s credibility, and, finally, to recommend
law and policy changes that reach far beyond these hearings (Brown University) Consequently, some
blame can be placed on party divide as to why the public and government officials felt very little had
been done to address the secrecy and blatant incompliance of law at a federal

The Great Mosque of Córdoba was built in Córdoba, Andalucía, southern Spain: the capital at which
Muslims exist. The great Mosque of Córdoba went under massive changes over centuries. These
changes occurred because the Mosque was conquered by groups of people following different
religions, including Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Each religion marked its conception through
changing or adding a unique artwork that symbolized its essence. The Great Mosque of Córdoba was
built by Arab architects in the eighth century and then a cathedral was added by Christian conquers in

introduced the cultivation of sugar cane, rice, cotton and the palm tree. Arabs didn t force conversion

Gestational Trophoblastic Disease
Gestational Trophoblastic Disease Green. Blue. Purple. Orange. Yellow. Red. Pink. Teal. Peach. Gray.
What do all these colors have in common? Each color symbolizes the ribbons our nation proudly uses
to help educate and raise awareness about cancer. Each ribbon symbolizes a family member, friend, co
worker, significant other, and/or neighbor who suffer from some form of cancer. Many different
varieties of cancers are widely known; however, cases show that Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases
are extremely rare but potentially dangerous forms of uterine cancer that can affect pregnant woman
during the beginning stages throughout fertilization (Gestational Trophoblastic Disease, 2012). There
are two forms of the Gestational Trophoblastic Disease, Hydatidiform mole is a non cancerous form,
where a fetus may or may not develop. Out of all the types of uterine cancers presently known,
Hydatidiform Mole¬¬ commonly known as a molar pregnancy affects one out of every 1,000
pregnancies (Hydatidiform Mole, 2012). Choriocarcinoma is the cancerous form and is even less
common by affecting roughly two to seven pregnancies out of 100,000 in the United States. In
addition, choriocarcinoma molar pregnancies are more common in Mexico, Southeast Asia, the
Philippines, and African countries. Furthermore, Caucasian women in the Unites States are at higher
risk than African American Women. Consequently, women over the age of 40 or women who have had

The internet also made it easier and reduced the cost for people to compare the prices of
opening/holding accounts, as well as the rates offered at various banks so the power of the buyer

mutual funds, and fixed income securities are a few of the many banking services that are also offered
by non banking companies such as Sony, General Motors, and Microsoft, which offer preferred
financing on big ticket items (ex. Houses, cars, furniture). The pressure coming from the bargaining
power of suppliers is strong because banks have four main suppliers; customer deposits, mortgages

suppliers is heavily based on the market so their power frequently fluctuates between medium to high.

The Work Of Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs, though mostly known for being the co founder and CEO of Apple, was also the founder of
another computer software company called NeXT, as well as the man who brought Pixar, a computer
based production company, into light. Mainly through Apple, Steve revolutionized the way society
manipulates technology. If you have seen Pixar produced films, such as Toy Story or Monsters, Inc. ,
Jobs had a direct impact on those films. Steven Paul Jobs was undoubtedly the most significant person
in the journey to making home computers accessible to everyone. Living in San Francisco, Joanne
Schieble was a speech therapist and Abdulfattah Jandali was a Syrian political science professor. On
February 24, 1955, the two University of Washington graduates gave birth to their newborn son. Soon
after birth, they put their unnamed son up for adoption. Clara and Paul Jobs adopted their son, Steven
Paul Jobs . The family lived in Mountain View, California. Clara worked her years as an accountant
while Paul was a machinist and Coast Guard veteran. Growing up, Jobs spent a lot of time in the
family garage with his father. It is then, that he acquired the skills that he would eventually use to
change the world forever. In elementary school,, Steve was always a bit more advanced than that of
his peers. At one time, Jobs tested so well that his school s officials wanted to pass him ahead to high
school, though his parents declined the offer. In his teen years, he attended Homestead High

Macbeth Movie And Play Comparison
Macbeth movie and play comparison paragraph Tragedy is a strong and contradicting event that leaves
the victims with catharsis and pity. The audience experiences sympathy towards the culprit because of
their reasons into why they fell into the darkness. These same emotions are felt when contrasting the
behaviour of Macbeth from the movie and the play. In the movie, Macbeth, by Rupert Goold, the
audience is mesmerized to feel less affinity towards Macbeth in contrast to the play because of the
differences in the plot, how the characters are developed, and the motifs in this militaristic film(This
last point is too specific).
To start off, the audience feels less sympathy towards Macbeth in the movie because of the main

There are a few snippets that are different from the play but also have a large impact on the plot. This
is indicated in the movie when Lady Macbeth and Macbeth have a personal conversation in the
change room. Macbeth says, Be innocent of the knowledge dearest chuck, And with thy bloody and
invisible hand, cancel and tear to pieces great bond.....but hold thee still; So prithee, go with me (III.
Ii. 50 60). With these words, in the movie, he speaks in a frustrated manner, as if he is forcing Lady
Macbeth to follow his path into darkness by tenaciously grasping her hand. This creates less sympathy
for Macbeth. Another significant difference in the movie was when Lady Macduff and her sons and
daughters get assaulted by the murders. Macbeth is also present in that scene and he himself finishes
the cruel act as he reveals his dagger from his belt. Nevertheless, in the play, Macbeth remains in his
castle and calls upon the murderers to finish his dirty work. Therefore, these small differences in the
plot including Macbeth s strange behaviour shown in the movie are far more brutal and he is shown
less compassionate towards the

  • 2. Nietzsche s Morals In 1887, philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche had written a collection of essays entitled The Genealogy of Morals. Nietzsche ideas was an inscribed assessment based upon ethical principles. Nietzsche analyzes the connections and significance of the contrasting moral concepts in a distinctive section where he elaborates on the good and the bad as well as the good and evil , by expressing his thoughts on slave morality that was created by the Jews. In the beginning, Nietzsche states that the priest is worthless and that they learn to hate. The priest hatred is powerful that it causes them to be destructive and it is known throughout history. Nietzsche compares the Jews to the priest caste who were the most hated in human history. The Jews somehow managed to reverse the moral assessments associating themselves as good but, the powerful nobles will be known as evil and damned for eternity. However, Nietzsche said, It was the Jews who started the slave revolt in morals (445) In the following section, Nietzsche explains that the reassessment of values effected by the Jews was occurring and that they were not noticeable. One of their achievements was the development of the religious teachings Christianity. He states that the Christian love violated the Jewish hatred and that the representation of Jesus and his crucifixion was the persuasion of the moral code. The embodiment and crucifixion of Jesus showed that annulment of the moral code, was once good became evil and what ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Ethical Issues In The Tale Of Genji For example most men considered good reasoning, statecraft among others. Men were in top leadership positions. Women were not permitted to try and let female relatives to get a look at them. She got away from the gaze of any man whom she was not identified with. These demonstrate that the overseeing body was made of chauvinists who saw women as lesser creatures than men. Men enabled women to acquire and pass on property (Kido, p 68). In the Tale of Genji, author demonstrated that women would be very educated and achieve many things. They were educated different courses other than those instructed to men. The perspective of ethical quality in our cutting edge society indicates like sentiments with those of the tale. Women openings were restricted by polygamy. There s just a single particular law of marriage that administered them, and it s that men couldn t have two formal wives. This didn t keep men from going to a ton of different women, which gives a great part of the storyline behind the Genji being a Don Juan (The Tale of Genji; p 30). Likewise, this sort of custom of men having a polygamous nature isn t viewed as discourteous amid this time. Waka couplets in The Tale of Genji; have special commitment towards the hugeness of the story. In The Tale of Genji, waka poetry overruns each part of life from romance to court custom to artistic enjoyment; and as a result of these capacities, the waka is quickly fused into the Heian exposition narrative (Damrosch and Pike, p 223). Nearer reading of the waka couplets in The Tale of Genji; makes it apparent that they contribute not just to the excellence of style yet additionally to the making of a lyrical method of portrayal (The Tale of Genji; p 41). The multi meaning and double working of many words in the waka make a thickness of allusions. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. Leading Change Analysis Week Four Discussion Forum In this week s reading assignment in the book, Leading Change, by Mr. Kotter, I gained additional insight in regards to aligning different parts of the business to result in a better outcome. The first concept from this week s reading that resonated with me was in the interdependence section of Chapter 9. The author outlines a company that has clear visibility and ownership allowing the company to control the manufacturing, sales, marketing, and development. This is an optimal solution in order to control your quality and speed. The part that I found interesting is that not many companies have this capability anymore because it is not fast, customer focused and less costly. Garmin is currently set up in this manner; owning its own manufacturing facilities and having its own marketing agency in the building. My opinion is that because of this the company can quickly turn and change it strategies with the market. This in contrast to the authors. At least in my experience when dealing with third party companies there is a higher cost and slower timeline to change scope with the market. Let me know what your thoughts are on ... • 6. Essay On Radical Republicans Radical Republicans believed that blacks were entitled to equal political opportunities and rights as whites. They also believed that Confederate leaders should be punished for what they did in the Civil War. People like representative Thaddeus Stevens and Senator Charles Sumner were extremely against Andrew Johnson s lenient policies and thought the federal government stuck its nose in state affairs too much. However, they grew tired of waiting for a change and took a direct intervention into state affairs. These Radicals believed that blacks must be given the chance to engage in a free labor economy. In 1866, Congress created a bill to prolong the existence of the Freedmen s Bureau and then began to develop a Civil Rights bill. However, President Johnson was completely against it and vetoed the Freedmen s Bureau Bill. He said it would make the government too big. He also vetoed the Civil Rights Bill. Many Republicans were flabbergasted at how racist Johnson was. With this in mind, they joined up with the Radicals to overturn his Civil Rights Act veto. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When Johnson tried to remove Stanton it was in direct violation of the Tenure of Office Act. However, other factors came into play and things started to unfold. At this time there was not a Vice President to take his place and the next in line for Presidency was a Radical by the name of Benjamin Wade and he was not well liked by many people. • 7. The Apology Of Socrates The Apology of Socrates is a Plato s version of speeches given by Socrates who was accused for two main reasons: the corruption of the youth and impiety (not believing in gods in whom the city believes). In the Apology Socrates tries to defend himself and his actions but not to apologize for it. He insisted that he must be wiser than others because he knows and recognizes that knows nothing. The Apology by Plato shows that there is a great influence of Socrates in searching for the truth about humanity and society even when his attempt contradicted with the opinions of the many . Socrates tells them that he will speak the truth, and pleads the judges to think of the justice of his cause but not minding the style of his speech. In making his defense, Socrates will reply to two kinds of accusations. At first, he refers to the older charges and his first accusers, and secondly he replies to the accusations made by Meletus, Anytus, and Lycon. He was afraid of the older accusers most of all and the reason behind this dread was that his accusers were many and he couldn t call them all by name. These accusers falsely claims can be summed up in the following words: Socrates is an evil doer, and a curious person, who searches into things under the earth and in heaven, and he makes the worse appear the better cause; and he teaches the aforesaid doctrines to others. He responses to these falsehoods by arguing that he has nothing to do with the physical sciences nor is he paid for giving instruction he has nothing to teach. He then goes on to explain how he gained such a bad reputation. The impetuous Chaerephon had gone to Delphi and asked the oracle if there was any man wiser than Socrates; and the answer was, that there was no man wiser. After a long consideration Socrates thinks of a method of trying a question. He goes to one who had the reputation of wisdom and selects a politician for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Impact On The British Invasion The British Invasion took place during the mid 1960 s. British musicians began to look toward their American counterparts for inspiration, copying their styles and advertising to fans in the United States. By this point, British youth had been interested in American rock and roll since the 1950 s, captivated by its pronounced beats and suggestive lyrics (Robbins). However, Britain did not have the same musical background as the United States. In the States, rock and roll emerged from a coalescence of Country and Western, Rhythm and Blues, and Pop music (Stuessy). Because of this, rock from the United States had deep roots, while rock from Britain before the mid 1960 s lacked depth and was simply an imitation. Eventually, rock began to take off in Britain from two main locations: Liverpool and London. This music became insanely popular in both Britain and the United States (Robbins). When studying the British Invasion, it is important to analyze the musical differences between Liverpool and London, as well as look at why this music became so popular in the United States. Due to Britain s obsession with rock and roll, skiffle became popular once again. Skiffle is a type of music originating from jug bands and requires minimal instruments. Many skiffle bands used a guitar, banjo, and rudimentary instruments such as a kazoo (Williams). The ever popular Beatles got their start as a skiffle band titled The Quarrymen in the town of Liverpool, England. The Quarrymen was formed in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. The Hypocrisy Of The Upper Class By Edith Wharton Edith Wharton s novel, House of Mirth, develops a critical view of the immorality of the upper class through Lily Bart and her failure to fully attain social mobility. Wharton comments on the corruption of the upper class, and implies that the acquisition of wealth and social status comes at the cost of a compromised moral sense. While some wealthy individuals may not necessarily be corrupt, it is clear that the upper class as a whole is primarily concerned with self preservation and personal gain. This narcissism in the higher classes often leads to a blatant disregard of others, accompanied by a lack of understanding of the consequences of their actions. Thus, the social elite are often plagued with corruption and immorality, as evidenced throughout the novel. Wealth brings power and status to the social elite, and ultimately becomes the source of their corruption. Perhaps the best example of this is Bertha Dorset. In the beginning of the novel, as Lily is contemplating her gambling debts at Bellomont, she considers how envious she is of Dorset, who she describes as a woman who could take a man up and toss him aside as she willed, without having to regard him as a possible factor in her plans (Wharton). Unlike Lily, Bertha s wealth gives her financial security, and thus has no real necessity to win over the affections of men. As such, she has significantly less social grace than Lily. Judy Trenor even characterizes Bertha as the type of woman who delights in making ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. A Writers Style Essay The Pulitzer Prize winning writer N. Scott Momaday has become known as a very distinctive writer who depicts the stories of the Native American life in almost poetic ways. He does an excellent job of transporting the reader from the black and white pages of a book, to a world where every detail is pointed out and every emotion felt when reading one of Momaday s books or other writings. This style of writing that Momaday uses is very evident in his work The Way to Rainy Mountain, and made even more apparent by reading a review of the book House Made of Dawn found on a web site run by HarperCollins Publishers. Throughout the essay The Way to Rainy Mountain , Momaday uses very descriptive words, which brings the places he is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One aspect of the essay The Way to Rainy Mountain that I found somewhat distracting was when Momaday would move off of the obvious aspect of his journey home. Even though I very much enjoyed the amazing descriptions that he used in telling of the lands from where his people came, I found it hard to grasp the purpose behind the side stories that were being told. I had latched onto the story of him returning home to his grandmother s grave since that was the first aspect presented to me as the reader. Once I had read the text over and studied it a little more deeply, I realized that the purpose of the story was not to tell of Momaday s journey back to rainy mountain, but to tell the story of the Kiowa s journey to Rainy Mountain. I thought it was a little distracting the first time I read because I was distracted by all of the information that Momaday was telling about the Kiowa people and their history. I kept expecting to hear of his trip back to Rainy Mountain and what he was experiencing during this time. As I said before, it was not until I went back and reread the essay did I catch on about the true point to the story. This might have been avoided if Momaday had made it clearer that the focus of the story was on the Kiowa people and not his journey back to see his grandmother s grave. Once I understood this ... • 12. A Study On Diabetes Mellitus Part A 1. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (previously described as non insulin dependent diabetes) is a condition due to hyperglycemia that accompanies a relative rather than an absolute insulin deficiency. It appears as a consequence of the alteration (genetically inherited or acquired) of insulin secretion, sometimes associated with peripheral insulin resistance. Impaired ability to absorb certain macronutrients such as carbohydrates, lipids and proteins can lead to a large spectrum of chronic complications that involve more or less all tissues of the human body. Globally, an estimated 422 million adults are living with diabetes mellitus, according to the latest 2016 data from the World Health Organization. Diabetes Mellitus affects an estimated 29.1 million people in the United States and is the 7th leading cause of death. T2DM includes a heterogeneous group of diseases that associate in different degrees two major metabolic defects: beta cell insulin secretion defect and insulin resistance of the peripheral tissues. Obesity and insulin resistance are characteristic for the majority (80 90%) of T2DM cases (Obese T2DM). The sine qua non condition for the progression from the preclinical phases (prediabetes) to the overt hyperglycemia stages is represented by the presence of the insulin secretion beta cell defect. A lack of compensation for insulin resistance will lead to evolution towards T2DM. The first sign of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Purpose: To study the long term development of speech sounds in children with cochlear implants and to determine if there was a time at which this development reaches a point of little or no change. Methods: Spontaneous speech samples were collected from twenty seven children who had been using a cochlear implant for at least 8 years and had at least two speech samples available from previous evaluations. The samples were glossed for intended words and the first 100 words were transcribed phonetically. Results: There was a consistent increase in accuracy of speech sound production from implantation to 4 6 years post implantation in contrast to the relative plateau seen 6 10 years postimplantation. Clinical Implications: At 4 years post implantation, a good prognosis can be formed about speech sound production later in life. It is vital that a child s development of speech sounds is facilitated during the first 6 years post implantation. Word Count: 148

Both the ethnicity and the literary canon of the laureates is far from diverse. In the past, many questions were raised as to why one person was chosen to join this exclusive club over another. Svetlana Alexieviech won for her moving documentation of the struggles the people of Pripyat and the soldiers faced in their lives after the nuclear tragedy. Similarly, Svetlana Alexievich s Nobel Award winning work, Voices from Chernobyl, is an oral history of witnesses of the nuclear accident at Chernobyl. All of these works were historical and nonfiction in subject matter, as befits the trend among female Nobel Prize laureates. Additionally, Voices from Chernobyl was written in a journal like fashion. Its many entries about the philosophies and lives of the people who had lived through the Chernobyl reactor explosion are similar to the travel writings by Selma Lagerlof (Jewell 108). Both works are written to describe the lives of their subjects realistically. The previous works by female laureates in literature are similar to Svetlana Alexievich s work because they tend not to be fictional. According to Richard Jewell, there is a propensity to not award the prize to women who write fiction. • 18. The Errors And Its Effects On The New Way Of View Life The errors I am most guilty of committing frequently would be, filtering out the positive, unreal ideal, and labeling. I never know the terminology for these habits until now. When reading the article, I could picture scenarios when I committed these errors. I have tendency of labeling everything! When I first moved to America, labeling/grouping items, people and so on really helped to simplify this new journey. Over the years I am realizing that that s a poor way of view life. I tend to label people, places, and etc. with little or no interacting. The last year there has been a lot in the media about police brutality and unfair treated for African American and minorities in general. When watching the news, I would make a state like these police officers are evil and out of control. , these officers are all racist and so on. Stating comments like these are completely unfair. Putting all officers in the same category is small minded and doesn t solve the problem facing us today. On top of that am implanting those false beliefs onto my little brother. Filtering out the positive was my second one. It doesn t matter how much I accomplish or do, all I focus on is what I could of them better. The first week of the semester I had to give a speech in a communication class. I was really nervous and shy, but the speech went really well until the end. For some reason I looked and froze, I then started to stutter on some of the words. Although the overall of the speech went well ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

More so, in an article by Faxon (2004), he states that future challenges for DM programs revolve around reimbursement policy designs and integration of DM in the public. I am not clear whether this has occurred in the past ten years. However, it is obvious that disease management emerged as a potential strategy to enhance the quality of care received by patients suffering from one or more chronic conditions, and to improve the efficiency of the delivery of healthcare services by maintaining or improving quality while reducing costs (Faxon et al, 2004). However, I consider that in order to make this sustainable, disease management companies should try not to make the same marketing mistake than MCOs did. In fact I completely agree with Faxon et al (2004) when they state that evaluations of disease management programs should not be based solely on their ability to reduce healthcare expenditures. • 20. Executive Officer At Huda Free Clinic CEO at 22. I was thrown in the deep end, quite literally. Physicians, PAs, and nurses who were once my mentors and supervisors, were now under my management. I felt blessed yet overwhelmed at my new appointment as the chief executive officer at HUDA Free Clinic. I was suddenly expected to have all of the answers, a seemingly tall order at a time when the clinic was forced to rediscover its niche in light of the Affordable Care Act. I realized that undertaking this task would be a part of my progression towards becoming a better and stronger person. It served as a crucible for this phase of my life, that would prepare me for the journey ahead. I found the need to reinvent HUDA Clinic as a whole, which entailed adapting its policies to the changing landscape of healthcare. I learned quickly that I d need to broaden HUDA s vision, in that a solely primary care clinic was no longer the answer. Rather, HUDA would need to offer those services that continue to remain inaccessible and unaffordable. Working alongside physicians, I was able to expand our dental clinic, and introduced psychiatry and podiatry services. I recruited more volunteer physicians, enabling us to expand our services. Today, the organization is able to serve a considerably larger underserved and underinsured population. I consider myself fortunate to have had experiences that I could only dream of. • 21. The Impact Of Money On An African Subsistence Economy Ethnography Review Paper Throughout history, money and the nature money have been defined and redefined from economist to economist, however, at its foundation, money serves as a standard of valuation, a means of exchange, and a mode of payment. Of course, not all societies subscribe to this rigid definition of currency because cultures have existed with economies based on barter or currencies that don t meet the conventional interpretation of money, and in the case of the Tiv culture, both general and special purpose currencies have existed for the trading of different types of goods. In Paul Bohannon s article, The Impact of Money on an African Subsistence Economy , he argues that the introduction of a general purpose currency fundamentally changed the nature of Tiv culture because it altered their previously multi centric economy and changed their traditional methodology of trading and valuation of categories of goods. Bohannon s ethnography of the Tiv culture and their economic history opens with a simple analysis of contemporary definitions of money and an explanation of the concept of general purpose money . According to Bohannon s article, economists have frequently approached the topic of currency incorrectly when it came to economies in more foreign cultures because they lacked more elastic definitions of currency. Not all cultures have a singular, general purpose currency that fits all three of the aforementioned foundations of money because like the Tiv, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Often called the gold standard of protein, whey is a total protein meaning it contains all of the necessary amino acids due to its Branched chain amino acids structure (BCAA s). Studies have demonstrated that casein protein can sustain the body with a regular supply of amino acids for at least seven hours, making casein the most anabolic protein, even more than whey. The rationale behind this is really because casein forms a gel in acidic environments like the stomach, and so releases a steady supply of amino acids into the bloodstream, permitting your body to remain anabolic. Since casein is kind of a slow digesting protein, consuming 30 50 grams before bed will stop catabolism while you re asleep. You may also consume casein protein across the day, just never after a workout. Post workout protein should be soaked up fast into the bloodstream, making casein a particularly bad choice. Casein protein can be taken pre workout as well, but this would not be the best use. A better pre workout shake would be to mix together a blend of casein and whey protein, thus permitting you to drink it inside thirty minutes of your workout. Milk contains over 80% casein protein, so mixing whey protein with milk will not only make your shake taste better but it will give you a make shift time release formula, effective straight away and sustaining for hours to come. The religious people would say, well of course he does, while the non religious people or atheist would say no He does not exist. Because evil exist and chaos exists, God cannot be all powerful. In the modern world, there are many different opinions as to whether a God exists or not. This has been an issue of great dispute because many people reverence different gods or no god at all. For years, many philosophers have come up with theories, proofs, and hypotheses to prove the existence of God, and a canon of arguments has been developed. The Arguments for the Existence of God sets out to explain the everyday philosophical arguments for theism, and so to explore the case for the existence of God. The arguments themselves are arranged under the following headings: The Ontological Argument, The Cosmological Argument, The Teleological Argument, and The Moral Argument will determine if there really is a God. The ontological argument An argument that attempts to prove the existence of God through abstract reasoning alone is known as the Ontological argument.
