The document discusses the transformation of learning spaces at NBCS schools through the SCIL (Schools as Core Innovation Laboratories) program. It aims to embed research and innovation into everyday school practice by redesigning spaces to be more flexible, technology-enhanced, and collaborative. Examples are provided of the SCIL building and Zone learning area which were reconfigured with diverse furniture, wifi, and multimedia to encourage stage 3 learning. Feedback from students indicates they feel more secure, supported, and motivated to work and learn in the new environments.
