This is a very basic logo idea. It is in a natural and easily readable font. However
this style would not be appropriate for a title as it is too basic.
I really like this font for a masthead. It is quite basic and it is easy to read
however it is slightly elongated and has an interesting shape. This font will be
used for the cover of my magazine.
This font is really interesting because of the interesting shapes and angles used
on the letters. This could possibly be too gothic for a magazine about the music
in the charts.
This font is very similar to the font above. However it is slightly more
basic yet is still too gothic for a charts music magazine therefore I will
not use it.
This font looks like a type writer style font. This font is very thin and if used on a
magazine cover title it possibly couldn’t be read easily is it was over a darker
image.
This font it far to childish. It is very free and curvy looking where this magazine
should have a bold and easy to read font. This would suit a magazine for youths.

3. Genre
• The genre of my magazine is going to be a Pop magazine. The
music included in this magazine will be the music in the
charts/quite modern music and artists. The reason I have
chosen to look at Pop music is because the colours and layouts
that fit in with pop music interest and attract me and they fit
with my survey and interview.

4. Cover Price
My magazine will have a new edition brought out every month.
Because it is monthly the price of the magazine will be more
because it isn’t out as often as other magazines. The price for my
magazine will be £4.99. This is a reasonable price that people
would be willing to pay.

5. Frequency of Publication
My magazine will be issued monthly. This is because I am
focussing on the charts and there are a lot of different areas of
music in the charts therefore my magazine will be large and
because it is large it would be too much to issue weekly.

6. Magazine Style, Attitude and Size
My magazine is going to be mostly bright colours because pop
music is a very upbeat and happy music genre. It will be a very
relaxed magazine, it won’t be to formal. It will be relatable to the
audience.

7. Reader Profile
My target market is aimed at teenagers and young adults as my
magazine consists of music from the charts. Because the music in
the charts is a wide range of music my age range is approximately
from 16 to 30. It will consist of original artists and they’re
upcoming music and new artists with they’re upcoming music.
