of Haiti to reinstate ousted President Jean Bertrand Aristide and return the country to
a democratic state. We will go over a brief portion of the very turbulent history that

planning and the difficulties they faced in a constantly changing environment, even a

United States with a prime example of a powerful and well trained navy, but he also
thought the good outcome of the event would allow him to expand the fleet with four

The Causes And Effects Of Maladaptive Daydreamig
For young Jayne Bigelsen, pacing in circles shaking a piece of string, regularly
accompanied her childhood fantasies. The repetitive motion demonstrated in Jayne
s early behavior has been identified in many individuals as Maladaptive
Daydreaming [an] extensive fantasy activity that replaces human interaction and
/or interferes with academic, interpersonal, or vocational functioning (Bigelsen
and Kelley). According to Jayne, her simple daydreams became increasingly more
detailed and ever so entertaining day after day, eventually becoming, in her words,
all consuming . Her story is shared with individuals all over the world experiencing
the same problem the struggle to maintain a balance between reality and a rich
inner world. Many have scoffed at the notion of a normal activity such as
daydreaming becoming pathologized and considered maladaptive by the sufferer, as

inability to control it (Bigelsen and Kelley). Regular daydreaming consists of
idealized versions of oneself as well as one s goals and aspirations. Conversely, MD

El Salvador, the smallest country in Central America has become the first country
in the world to ban metal mining after a series of disputes with a Canadian
Australian company over the environmental aspects of the gold project. The
country also has a partial ban in elements, such as the cyanide. The gold project
was established between the company mentioned earlier and El Salvador. This
project was supposed to bring economic benefits for the country. It is important to
recall that metal mining has been one of the biggest sources of the income of the
country since the 1990s after its civil war. Moreover, El Salvador is facing external
debts and does not have many sources to pay it back. Hence, the gold project was
seen as a crucial source of income. However, El Salvador has terminated this project
because it was going to do a lot of environmental damages. A group composed of
officials, lobbyists, academics and the church were united for the bill passed in the

heritages and dreams to take great pride in their own ethnic group or country. It brings
