Seasons Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of seasons may seem deceptively simple at first glance, as one
might think it primarily involves describing the changes in weather throughout the year.
However, delving deeper into the task reveals the complexity that lies beneath the surface. The
challenge lies not only in providing a mere chronological account of seasonal shifts but also in
capturing the essence of each season, exploring the emotions they evoke, and examining their
impact on various aspects of life.
To successfully compose a meaningful seasons essay, one must navigate through the delicate
balance of vivid imagery and eloquent language. It requires the skill to paint a picture with
words, allowing readers to feel the crispness of autumn leaves underfoot, hear the gentle rustle
of spring blossoms, or sense the warmth of a summer breeze. The challenge is to transport the
audience into the heart of each season, making them experience the subtle nuances that make
them unique.
Moreover, the task extends beyond the sensory aspects. A compelling essay on seasons delves
into the cultural, societal, and psychological dimensions tied to each time of the year. Exploring
how seasons influence human activities, traditions, and moods adds layers of complexity to the
writing process. It requires thorough research to understand the cultural significance attached to
specific seasons in different regions, and how these perceptions have evolved over time.
The difficulty also lies in avoiding clichГ©s and crafting a narrative that feels fresh and original.
With countless essays on seasons already available, the challenge is to present a perspective that
stands out, offering readers a unique insight or a fresh angle on a familiar theme.
In conclusion, writing a compelling essay on seasons is a task that demands more than a mere
observation of temperature changes. It requires the finesse to weave a tapestry of words that not
only depicts the physical transformations but also captures the essence, emotions, and cultural
nuances associated with each season. It's a journey into the delicate dance of nature and human
experience, making it a challenge worth embracing for those who seek to master the art of essay
writing.

Analysis Of March By John Lewis
John Lewis has never let his 40+ arrest affect what he stands for. In Lewis book
March, he tells his story of segregation in the 60 s and the events that shaped his
life. From when he was a little kid, to an older adult, March displays Lewis deal
with the segregation in the south, and the hardships others endure. Although he
experienced many events in his life, John Lewis used those events to build himself
religiously and help others. Receiving his first bible, Jim Lawson s workshops, his
decision not to go to college and Martin Luther King s speech all helped him become
who he is. One of Lewis earliest turning points in his life was when his uncle gave
him his first bible. Lewis recalls, Growing up, what I really wanted to be was a...

So although Lewis didn t get to attend Troy, he ended up meeting people in Nashville
that influenced his life positively. Even though his bible was important to him, Jim
Lawson workshops shaped his beliefs of nonviolence and love, being the ultimate
turning point. The workshops taught others how to react when someone was
harassing them, physically or verbally. Lewis especially learned a lot through
these workshops and what Lawson was preaching. He claimed, His words
liberated me. I thought this is it. This is the way out (Lewis 78). See Figure1.
Taking up a whole page in March, this picture shows Lewis gazing into the distance
with the quote above him, almost as if he s had a revelation. Through that
moment, Lewis learned that nonviolent protest was the answer. Lewis was so
moved by these workshops, he wanted to tell everyone, I told my classmates. I told
two of my closest friends Bernard Lafayette and James Bevel. I told everyone they
should come to this workshop (Lewis 79). Lewis really believed these workshops
were the answer, he wanted everyone to attend and learn the ways of civil
disobedience. To Lewis, this was the only answer. Lastly, one of Lewis most
important life events was when he heard Martin Luther King s speech on the radio.

in honor of Rose s father, John Francis Fitzgerald, the Boston Mayor popularly
known as Honey Fitz. John was not a very healthy baby, and Rose recorded on his
notecard the childhood diseases from which he suffered, such as: whooping cough,
measles, chicken pox. On February 20, 1920 when John was not yet three years old,
he became sick with scarlet fever.

European airline industry suits this choice of topic very well as it is a business

substantial amount of EU legislation through the deregulation of the industry and the
abandonment of state aid for national carriers. This has contributed to great changes
in the dynamics and structure of the European airline industry, which I find
fascinating and have therefore chosen to analyse this development in more detail

Comparing Horatio Alger s Nickel And Dimed
No Nickels or Dimes Horatio Alger Jr. was an American writer during the 1800s.
During this time period, Alger wrote stories about boys who went from extreme
poverty to the average middle class, which is what some consider the American
Dream. The stories he wrote always contained the same three elements, according
to Harlon L. Dalton of Yale Law School: each of is judged solely on his or her
merit; we each have a fair opportunity to develop those merits; ultimately, merit will
win out. In spite of these notions, Barbara Ehrenreich, author of Nickel and Dimed,
went out into the world as a low wage worker and tested these hypotheses. The idea
that somebody is judged based solely on his or her merit is entirely false, at least in
our current day society. Low wage workers, or the lower class entirely, are given
harmful stereotypes that decrease their chances of having jobs and changes the way
their employers treat them. This is, of course, compared to the average middle class.
When going through the job application process, entry level jobs usually require a
drug test, a demeaning and tedious task. The frequency of the presumed need for
drug testing gives light to a harmful stereotype: that every minimum... Show more

This gives the idea that everybody starts in the same place in life and that
everybody has the exact same opportunities if they work hard enough. This is not
how life works though. Barbara Ehrenreich tried to prove this theory but failed to
do so. She was unable to stay afloat, even with multiple attempts, and she could not
live on multiple minimum wage jobs. Ehrenreich even had a head start that many
lower class citizens do not have; she had a car, no children, good health, and she
had a safety net of money. In the end, however, all of her hard work and advantages
could not support her, disproving Alger s last
Examples Of How To Write A Letter To John Dalton
Dear Mrs. H,
I am now currently in the year of 1897, and I feel as if I need to write you a letter
because I haven t seen you in ages and you ve taught me so much so I need your
advice. The atomic structure in my point of view is completely different to John
Dalton s. His model influenced me to create mine; Dalton s claim was that matter
consists of atoms, which are indestructible, atoms of the same element were identical
in mass and some properties, but atoms from different elements don t have similar
characteristics. He said that atoms are the smallest unit of matter, and that atoms
combined as compounds in fixed numerical ratios, which he also determined.
But, I believed that atoms were the fundamental building blocks of matter and then
later on, I predicted that the atomic model was positively charged with electrons
scattered around the inside of the atom. I then conducted an experiment to provide
evidence for my predictions, using magnets of electricity, and I found that as soon as
the electricity passes and hits the cathode (metal conductor of electricity), it lights up
creating a beam of electrons that move from one negative end (cathode) to one
positive end (anode). After removing all the gas, the small hole in the anode lets the
beam pass through, creating a thin line. Using a magnet, he made the ... Show more

Nagaoka revised my Plum Pudding model and called it the Saturnian model because
he thought that opposite charges are impenetrable. He then arranged the electrons to
be surrounding the central positive charge. His model consist of a number of
electrons of equal mass at the centre of the circle or in his case, the planet . He
thought that atoms were electrically neutral and in order to maintain it, an atom must
contain an equal amount of positive and negative charges. Nagaoka clearly rejected
my model and I wasn t happy about
What Is Deja Vu Essay
DГ©jГ vu ..... could it be ?
This story takes place while I was driving home one evening.
Like usual, I was letting my mind wander past the cars beside me, and had begun
falling into a daydream state. I was pondering work, (which is not a thing to give
ponder after leaving, I dare say), when a peculiar thing happened.
Well, I can not say that it was a thing, but rather, a moment of time that revealed a
strange state of being.
Now, many people have had moments of deja vu. There are many explanations and
theories behind the events that unfold in our concious/subconcious minds during
these times of similar experience.
In my case, though, it was bordering on uncomfortably eerie, and amazingly
excitable, all at the same time.
While driving down the freeway, I had ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There, on the right hand side of the road, were three cop cars, and in the center of
them....a man standing next to a green motorcycle.
To say I was freaked out by now would be an understatement. It was as if I had
spoken the event into existence.
Was this deja vu, or prophecy? I was perplexed, yet, quietly amazed with myself. I
tried to set up several other scenarios as I travelled along, but alas, I eventually pulled
into my driveway with no further events.
I slowly came to a stop beside my mailbox. I stared toward my home, up that long,
dusty, gravel road. The sun was now dipping slowly behind the hill that my home
sits on. The shadows were dancing in front of my house like young children just
released from school. I let my mind ponder the last half hour of time, then reached
over to open the mailbox.
There, lying almost deathly still on the very top, was a random coupon. The coupon
read something like this, Come and get it while the iron is hot...there is no moment
like the present. The next time you experience a sale like this, you will just be
experiencing deja vu....so hurry
The Wolfpack Is A 2015 Documentary That Tells The Story

The Wolfpack is a 2015 documentary that tells the story of the Angulo family,
specifically the six movie obsessed brothers, and their life in a tiny New York City
apartment. The Angulo brothers, all named by their Hare Krishna father for different
iterations of the god Krishna, shared a six room apartment with their parents and
older sister, Visnu. Their tight knit relationship developed in part from the isolation
the family experienced during the boys childhood. During the film, they tell the
camera how their father had the only key to the apartment and controlled their
excursions into the outside world. Sometimes we got out once a year, says
Mukunda Angulo, and one particular year we never got out at all (The Wolfpack
2015). To compensate for this lack of interaction with the outside world, the
brothers turned to movies, watching thousands of films during the years they
stayed inside the apartment. Their story is unique and compelling. These brothers,
despite or perhaps because of the conditions they were raised in, developed a
strength and resiliency that allows them to be surprisingly well adjusted to modern
American life. They now have Facebook pages and Instagram accounts, friends,
love interests, and some have picked up Americanized names (Krisna is now
Glenn, and Jagadisa goes by Eddie). The Wolfpack offers viewers a glimpse into
their world, as filmmaker Crystal Moselle was given unprecedented access to their
apartment and their lives. Moselle has

to patients. The Arabic family also was more open to natural medicine and
homeopathic medicine and sought to find a way to cure themselves before seeking
outside help at a medical facility. Lastly, the Caucasian family that were my neighbors
seemed the most different from the families that I had talked to but the most open

seemed more inclined towards exercise and consumption of vitamins to maintain their
health and protection of their health. They were also much better about keeping up
with regular doctors visits and checkups and opted for more immunizations and
vaccinations. They seemed more up to date and modernized in all aspects of health.
They were also more trusting of modern medicines and prescriptions. They heavily
relied on the healthcare system for health restoration even for the simplest medical
issues. In conclusion, all three ethnicities have varying lifestyles that contribute to
their current status of health. It is important to keep in mind that this is

small problem, we found a few pieces of trash. All in all, found no major indicators

the water was a dirty brown color, we were almost sure we would find something
wrong with the chemical balance. We tested pH and alkalinity, Nitrates and
orthophosphates. Surprisingly, everything appeared to be normal based off of our
The Fall Of The Roman Empire Analysis
In The Fall of the Roman Empire , the author Peter Heather talks about the ways the
Roman empire conquered the many territories surrounding them and how strong of
an empire the Roman empire was. He also talks about the build up of the events that
caused the empire to fall. Peter also talks about the people that helped or was
involved in the build up or the collapse of the Roman empire. Peter Heather mainly
wrote this book to inform the reader of how the European barbarians got turned into
enemies through imperialism; additionally, he mentions that these Barbarians were
capable of tearing apart an empire that ruled over them for many years. Peter, also,
mentions all of the battles and build ups that occurred throughout the Barbarians
reign of power and speaks mainly of the battles that they went through. Peter s
argument is that the empire did not collapse because of social or moral collapse, but
that the empire fell due to the Barbarians. There were many interesting events that
occurred in The Fall of the Roman Empire . Peter Heather speaks of many Hunnic
battles; he tries to explain how military strategical the Huns were, and he also talks
about the battles, due to the fact that the Huns begin to become an issue with Roman
Empire. He speaks of these battles because they had such a large effect on the
collapse of the Roman Empire. Peter mentions the Battle of Hadrianople; this battle
was when the Gothsdefeated their first Roman army. The battle made the Goths
Evaluating Foundation Foundations Of Faith
Understanding
When I came in foundations of faith I had many unanswered questions. I often found
myself trying to counter duct the catholic church and correct their teachings. From
this class, the main questions I answered were why God lets humans suffer and why
God sent Jesus soon the earth. The simple answer to why there is suffering is
because God created free will. He wants us to have the ability to act autonomously.
As a side effect of free will, humans make mistakes when faced with choices and
cause themselves or others to suffer. The only thing God can do is walk beside us
through hard times. Now we come to Jesus, Jesus was sent by God to save the
sinner. He also guides us to live a life for others and Taught us to worship God, be
thankful, and live a life for others. God sacrificed his only son for us and for this I
am thankful.

because I came from a catholic school, and my family was catholic. Even though I
came from a faith background I never felt as if I had a strong faith life and or a
strong relationship with God. Now toward the end of this class, I feel that I have
expanded my mind to what faith actually is. One lesson that helped me understand
what faith was the article called adult faith by Father Fitter. This article spoke to
me because before reading it I thought of God as being above everyone and doesn t
really interact with people, Father fitter explained him as a friend who will never
turn your back on you. Now ending the semester, I feel that I can talk to God and
grow a relationship with him. I hope to have a relationship with God for the rest of my
Medieval Morality Plays Essay
Medieval Morality Plays Throughout time, there have been many books, plays,
songs, pamphlets, sermons, lectures, etc. written. These writings were all written
with some kind of purpose to either inform, persuade, entertain, or teach their
audience. One such form of literature not too widely known about is that of the
medieval morality plays. These plays were not aimed to entertain, but to teach
morals and religion to the uneducated lower classes of people in medieval Europe.
The morality plays were also quite necessary to teach and inform the underclass
people, through the thoughtful persuasion of play entertainment. Morality plays, as
said above, were most popular and most widely present in medieval times. They were

(1). There were many other cases when the characters of the morality plays were
not abstract qualities. These alternative roles were ones of angels, devils, priests,

subject of the morality plays was that of the seven deadly sins. (1). The setup of
the morality plays were actually quite simple. In the early development of the

were usually played outdoors on moving scaffolds with the normal usage of props.

later period of the morality plays, they were performed by amateur actors who
relied wholly on public support. (Morality Play 1). When it comes to the plot
aspect of morality plays, there were four main story lines. The majority of the
morality play plots consisted of debates or conflicts. The three which did were the
debate of heavenly graces, the debate of soul and body, and the conflict of vices and
virtues.

Employment Laws Any changes to employment law is a legal factor which can
have an impact on many organisations including Homes For You . In our analysis
one change to employment law that was considered was the possible increase in
parental leave (this may be increasing from three months to four months with effect

procedures in place to deal with this. We need to ensure all HR staff are aware of
the changes and of procedures to grant a parental leave request and also look at

Critical Analysis Of Walden By Henry David Thoreau
Critical Analysis of Walden
The autobiography Walden by Henry David Thoreau is a first person narrative
explaining what Thoreau personally experienced from his experiment after two
years of living at Walden Pond, encompassed by nature. Thoreau isolates himself
from society and martial earnings to gain a higher understanding of what it means
to have freedom as an individual. He simplifies his life to get closer to nature to
learn more about himself and society. If we focus too much on obtaining these so
called comforts of life. We blur the fact that these luxuries are a hindrance to self
freedom. In society, if you do not follow the same rhythm as everyone else. You will

Therefore, Thoreau was ahead of his time as historians place the golden age of free
thought from 1875 to 1914. This idea of personal freedom was not popular at the
time Walden was only a marginal success. Afterward, in the Civil Rights moment
the Walden became very popular with young Americans. The Walden inspired theses
Americans to obtain real freedom with many examples. I see young men, my
townsmen, whose misfortune it is to have inherited farms, houses, barns, cattle, and
farming tools; for these are more easily acquired than got rid of. At the time most,
parents expected their sons to take over the farm after the father became feeble.
Therefore, most men were forced to work the farm instead of pursuing what they
wanted. Instead a man becomes a machine that has no freedom. Therefore, have a
feeling that his only function was to replace the old machine before him. The mass
of men lead lives of quiet desperation Technologies today give us the illusion of
heightened freedom. In the United States, we can obtain every material item we
desire. Even though we still have the highest rate of anxiety disorders and depression
in the world. Thoreau explains Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me
truth. To have true freedom and happiness you must face your demons. As material
earnings can t cover up your inner truth. Many Americans can t handle the truth and
this why we live a life of desperation. Thoreau

That is to allow you to go deeper into a subject of interest at a school of excellence.
Some common aspects to consider are the Social aspect, the Financial aspect, and the

Many other dragons came to him, begging him to behave lest he be punished. But
he only laughed and shook his glittering silver scaly head. Nothing could hurt him,
for he was strong and fierce and frightful. Many years did he reign over a terrified

Analysis Of The Poem The Waste Land
The first lines of T.S. Eliot s poem, The Waste Land, proclaim,
April is the cruelest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain (lines 1 4). 1 4)
This stanzaese ilines invokes a strange mix of hopeful images, layered with words
of despair.veiled beneath words of despair . Many would agree there is a clear
feeling of hopelessness throughout the poem; however, through poetic allusions to
redemption, glimpses of optimism are seen in Eliot s work, suggesting all may not
be lost. His references to the redeeming hellfire of Dante s Divine Comedy, and
transformation through tragedy in The Story of Tereus and Philomela, show that
Eliot perhaps holds onto a glimmer of hope for society s despondent
state.fordespondent state .
Eliot calls to our attention the degradation of society using the theme of lust
throughout The Waste Land. In A Game of Chess and again in The Fire Sermon, he
describes how sex has become an act devoid of meaning and emotion. The speakers
in these sections show how society has separated sex and love, stripping it of its
significance. However, in What the Thunder Said , Eliot points the way to
redemption. He quotes Dante stating, Poi s ascose nel foco che gli affina (line 427)
which translates to, Then he hid himself in the fire that refines them. The purifying
fire he speaks of comes from Canto 26 of Dante s Purgatorio . In this passage, Dante

Regulating Interest Rates as a Solution to the Recession...
Today s financial crisis has deeply impacted all areas of life not only in the United
States, but also the rest of the world. Company giants such as Circuit CityВ® and
Merrill LynchВ® have fallen victim to the financial crisis. One of the biggest
industries the financial crisis has had an impact on has been the housing market.
Everyday newspapers, journal articles, and television media cover stories regarding
foreclosures around the country. To regain financial control of the world and
domestic economy, one must begin with the housing market. There are various areas
of the housing market, which allow for overhaul and maintain a prosperous future.

By repaying their debt, this helps the banking industry, which in turn strengthens the
economy. This is a win win situation because everyone benefits from it: the consumer
improves his or her credit worthiness in order to purchase a home at a later time, the
banking industry does not lose out on loaned money in either the short or long term,
and home buyers will be able to enter an agreement with the lender knowing
beforehand that their interest rate will not rise at any point, thus making it
affordable. For people who are currently in an ARM, the banking industry should
allow them to transfer to a fixed rate loan that allows affordability to the consumer
without jeopardizing loss of money on the banking industry. The banking industry
should also be flexible regarding requests by its home owners. Some people are
beginning to realize ahead of time that eventually they will not able to afford the
house they are living in. One solution might be to allow the flexibility such as
lowering payments for a specified amount of time such as one or two years.
Affordability is the main idea to a homeowner. If a mortgage is affordable, most likely
a homeowner will continue to make his or her payments on time and not foreclose on
the home.
For example, if a person is paying $1,000 per month in mortgage and is not able to
afford this amount, by allowing them to reduce their payments to $800 on a two year
agreement, the bank will temporarily lose
Skeptecism of History and Science
A skeptic is defined in two different ways, a skeptic could be considered as a person
who question the validity and raise doubts to all accepted opinions or accepted
conclusion; a skeptic could also be a philosopher who denies the possibility of
knowledge, or even rational belief, in some sphere. When knowledge is primarily
presented by an abundance of assumption is brought up. Generally, a skeptic often is
required to proceed a thorough evaluation of the assumption or hypothesis presented
in order to provide factual clarity. What may seem correct has the potential to be
completely faulty when another evidence clashes with the primary idea. The two
areas of knowledge that requires to an individual to thoroughly evaluate, question
their claim, ask for clarity, consistency in logic and adequacy of evidence is history
and science. When analyzing a historical event, ideally information is required to be
traced back in both quantitative and qualitative variables. History could be easily
manipulated, misinterpret and biased. For a particular historical event, many claims
could be laid out with certain amount of evidence. For example, many historians
claim that the Holocaust did not happen and the conspiracy theory that America did
not plan on the moon. The reality that anyone is able to propose various theories that
contradicts what may seem as facts to others proves that there are multiple
perspective that needs critical analysis. Historians evaluates the evidence proposed,

Vulvovaginitis Essay
Vulvovaginal candidiasis is one of the most prevalent vaginal infections and
represents, approximately 40% 50% of all cases of infectious vulvovaginitis [22].
The prevalence of RVVC among childbearing women and its importance as an
Egyptian public health problem make an interest to continue research on such cases
to add deep knowledge on RVVC and to understand the behavior of its pathogen and
its epidemiology within Egyptian patients [23]. RVVC and its control by MBL was
studied previously, but unfortunately none of the published papers discussed such
cases in Egyptian patients. In an attempt to fill this gap, this study was designed on
118 childbearing Egyptian women to find out new therapeutic strategy for RVVC.

However, some investigators found that MBL serum level was higher in RVVC
cases when compared it to controls indicating that MBL might be defensive against
RVVC [13]. On the contrary, other studies reported that MBL level was lower in
RVVC cases compared to controls [12, 32]. Nevertheless, they depended on
measurement of MBL in vaginal fluid while in the present study, MBL was measured
in serum. From practical point of view, determination of MBL level in vaginal
discharge is technically too difficult to perform and to standardize. Even more, the
entity of vaginal fluid is changeable throughout menstrual period [33].
The present study could find an association between MBL2 exon 1 codon 54
polymorphism and susceptibility to RVVC. Carriage of mutant allele B was more
frequent in women with RVVC (16.1%) than in controls (6%). In previous studies,
MBL2 codon 54 polymorphism has been associated with increased frequency of
RVVC in Latvian, Brazilian, Chinese, and Belgium [12, 32, 34, 35] but not Italian
patients [31].
In the present study, analysis of genital hygiene behaviors among wild MBL
genotypes estimated that bad genital hygiene behaviors increased the risk of RVVC
by 3.47 times while the risk of RVVC has been elevated to 18.67 times in the
presence of mutant MBL genotypes. These results supported the fact that RVVC is a
monomicrobial; however, it is multifactorial disease in origin [36]. Moreover, good

top of each other to get to the stairs; nobody dared to go outside. Going outside
promised death, at least inside there was a chance to survive. Get out of the way.
Avery shrieked as the bullets rang through the building. People were falling left
and right as bullets ripped through their skin. There was nothing that Avery could
do except survive. She scrambled up the stairs to get away from the masked
intruders. One of the bullets grazed her on the leg, and she stumbled falling on the
flat platform above her. She could hear the clanking of heavy boots running up the
stairs behind along with the sounds of a new cartridge being put in a gun. To her,
this was the end. There was no way they were going to survive and it was all Jude s

How Does E. B White Create Satisfaction In The 1939
World...
) E.B White doesn t find much satisfaction in the 1939 World Fair as a whole but
finds amusement in some of its displays including the American Telephone
Telegraph Exhibit. One can feel the dissatisfaction that White feels on page 142
when he states, The designers of this twentieth century bazaar have been resourceful
and have kept the comfort of the people in mind. Experience has taught them much.
The modern technique of sightseeing is this: you sit in a chair (wired for sound) or

White s displeased attitude towards the fair is certainly felt on page 145 when he
states, The voice of Mr. Kaltenborn in the City of Man says, They come with joyous
song, but the truth is there is very little joyous song in the Fair grounds. There is a
great deal of electrically transmitted joy, but very little spontaneous joy. Tomorrow
s music, I noticed, came mostly from Yesterday s singer. In fact, if Mr. Whalen
wants a suggestion from me as to how to improve his show and I am reasonably
confident he doesn t), it would be to snip a few wires, hire a couple of bands, and
hand out ticklers. In this statement one can see that White feels that people are losing
their connection to the simple and beautiful things in life. Instead people are focusing
on what they want to make them happy and not the pleasure that can come with what
they have. Lastly towards the end of this essay White states, My own memory of the
Fair, like David s, has begun to dim. From so much culture, from so much
concentrated beauty and progress, one can retain only a fragment. I remember the
trees at night, shivering in their burlap undershirts, the eerie shadows clinging to the
wrong side of their branches. Most people would overlook the details embedded in

Ghosts And Skeletons By Benito Cereno
Ghostly representations of the other imagine a social evil that has not been put to
rest. These images reoccur in the Western canon, marking the persistence of slavery
long after its abolition. Haunting, ghosts and skeletons in Benito Cereno act as a
vehicle through which the suppressed return to the stage with a message. The ghosts
carry with them all that the imperialists wanted to control, including emotions, and
more precisely, the emotions of the oppressed. I argue that ghosts and skeletons
comprise an area of tension in which the appearance of the other reveals that the
dominant party s control is incomplete. Yet, the presence is merely ghostly due to the
constant policing and lack of respect for the Other. These ghosts also break through
the boundaries of the dominant culture s paradigms and identities (Harpham 17),
signaling potential political crisis. This text signals the fear of the retaliation of the
Other through ghostly representations by projecting on to the other, their own
identities of brutality and irrationality. Benito Cereno by Herman Melville overturns
the racist images of the colonized by relocating evil in the order of slavery. Hauntings
carry the perspectives and powers of the slaves by preserving the dead amidst the
living and the past amidst the present, they muddle up the concept of time and
therefore defy the Western dream of complete control. In Benito Cereno, which was
written by Melville in 1855, New England captain Amasa Delano comes
Purpose Of The Juvenile Justice System
The way in which juvenile delinquents are dealt with by the courts varies
depending on the country. For example, the age of criminal responsibility is
different depending on the country. Most people think when you reach the age of
18 you are no longer a minor and can be charged as an adult; however, in Japan you
can be charged as a minor until the age of 20. In Germany, they consider a person
who is 21 or above a legal adult. On the other hand, at the age of 17 in Australia you
are charged as an adult. They way they treat juveniles in prisonalso differs. The
punishments they receive, the programs they have, and the privileges they offer are
all different. So why does the U.S have the highest rate of juvenile crime?

These laws from each respective country seem to have the best outcome for the
juvenile s future. The U.S has some good ideas with helping juveniles, but the U.S
could also make some drastic positive impacts in the lives of these minors by
focusing more on rehabilitation and less on incarceration. One example is the fact
that the U.S sentences minors to life in prison; taking away the possibility of
returning to their families or becoming a contributing member of society. By adopting
some of these laws of other countries the U.S could cut down on costs of housing so
many inmates and, like Japan, keep them at minimum security detention centers. This
would also allow the possibility for juveniles to better their lives and in turn counsel
other youth that are at risk of getting in trouble with the law, decreasing the rate of
juvenile crime; benefitting the system as a
Argument Against A Paid Maternity Leave Essay
All of the above are strong arguments for the pressing necessity of a mandated paid
maternity leave. Nevertheless, the many opponents of this initiative are arguing
otherwise.
One argument against a paid maternity leave is based on the assumption that one of
the parents should not be working in the first place. In other words, a full time stay at
home parent is beneficial to the development of the child and therefore a paid limited
time maternity leave is redundant and is simply a waste of resources. Suzanne
Venker, a writer, insists that According to Public Agenda, 70% of parents with
children under age five believe having a parent at home is best. And 63% disagree
that children in daycare receive just as good care and attention as with a stay at
home parent. These findings are commensurate with 2014 Pew data that shows 60%
of Americans say children are better off when a parent stays home to focus on the
family. ( Why Paid Maternity Leave Is Not the Answer. ) According to these
findings, Americans are unlikely to agree to encourage mothers to put their children
in childcare and go back to work, let alone spend money on a paid maternity leave.
Nice try, Ms. Venker, but let s continue to read the mentioned 2014 Pew data till the
end: Stay at home mothers are younger, poorer and less educated than their working
counterparts. For example, 34% of stay at home mothers are poor, compared with
12% of working mothers. ( 7 Key Findings about Stay at home Moms. ) Let s

Nation Branding-Best Practices Through Sports, Laws and...

Another factor of substantial importance which plays an active role in nation

Hosting the 2006 Soccer World Cup catapulted Germany to the top of the NBI in
2007 and 2008 ...
Yes indeed, but as I predicted, the effect didn t last very long. Enhancing a country
s image is a relay race, not a sprint, and countries need to become obsessive about
asking themselves What do we do next? Germany hasn t followed up on its World
Cup success, so people are starting to revert to their previous beliefs about the
country. This always happens and it can only be prevented by projecting a constant,
unbroken stream of dramatic evidence that the country deserves the reputation it
desires.
Even in countries where Germany did not previously enjoy a great reputation, the
country s image was massively enhanced after what has gone down in the history
books as Germany s summer fairytale . Does this mean that some elements of the
brand essence are in fact very volatile, in other words, nice weather, high spirits,
exciting matches is all it takes to change an image? Is it really that simple?
No, they really aren t volatile at all: quite the contrary. National image is more like a
fixed asset than a liquid capital, and normally can t be changed at all. Nothing could
be more difficult than changing any of these attributes. I have great respect for the
way in which Germany managed to move the needle on its image during the World
Cup, in exactly the way it wanted to, but it hasn t been able to make this sustainable.

According to Christina L. Darwall, executive director of the Harvard Business

competing in the new economy, successful businesses are necessarily to be short

within a short period, which are the Build to flip companies. (Collin, 2000; p. 1)
Under the culture of entitlement, managers now see themselves are entitled to

massive expansion in customer service entitlements. (2014, Lecture 4; p. 8) This is
an unquestionable sign of a boom in decay. (Thrift, 2000; p. 26) In addition,
impermanence is a feature in different phenomenon, and everything will come to the
stage of deterioration. (Zsolnai, 2014; p. 63) If it was permanent in everything, we do
not have to make choices, judgments, responsibilities and entitlements. (2014, Lecture

measuring the constructs that it claims to. This paper is aimed at evaluating the
validity and reliability of the research paper titled A Contemporary Analysis of
Accounting Professionals Work Life Balance by Buchheit, Dalton, Harp and
Hollingsworth, published in the Accounting Horizons Journal in March 2016 in its
first issue of volume 30. The research paper endeavoured to provide answers for two
main research questions that were aimed at scrutinising the difference between 1.
auditors and tax professionals in terms of their work life conflict, burnout and
perceptions regarding alternative work arrangements (AWA) across all sizes of public
accounting firms, and 2. accounting professionals perceptions of AWAs in industry

The reliability and validity of the research paper will be evaluated separately and
some suggestions on how the authors could have enhanced both reliability and
validity of their research will be provided.

Invasive Species Effect On Environment
Issue: The environmental issue that I have chosen is the impact that invasive species
have on the environment. The impact that invasive species have on the environment
is vast, yet little is done about it. This issue is extremely important and will impact
the world for generations to come. In this paper, I hope to learn about the effect they
have on environment and what we can do about it.
Position: I currently believe that invasive species have a large impact on the
environment, but I am not sure of the extent of it. I feel more needs to be done
about it because in the general public not many are concerned about it. I hope to find
out more about this issue in order to back my theory.
Research Strategy: In order to back my idea I will find several informed and
scholarly articles, backing my theory. This includes looking at the effects invasive
species have on the native ones. I will look at both sides to accurately come to the
final conclusion. The most accurate information will come from books published on
invasive species. These books can be found at local libraries and online libraries.
Significance: The question of whether or not invasive species impact the
environment is an important one. The answer affects everyone. In today s world,
we take the outdoors for granted. People don t realize how much it does for us. It
provides economical resources, areas to relax, and oxygen for us to breathe. Without
these simple things our lives would change drastically. Life as we
A Case For A Stock
2. According to The difference, (n.d.), a bond is defined as a loan from the
investor to the bond issuer, to help raise capital for a company or government. A
share is defined as a unit of ownership interest in a corporation or financial asset that
provide for an equal supply in any profits, in the form of dividends ( Shares, n.d.).
Ownership and rights
As stated in the beginning, a bond is considered as a loan from the investor.
Therefore if a person bought a bond such as corporate bonds from a bond issuer, he
or she does not have any ownership in the company with no direct control over the
business. It will be just limited to lending and borrowing.
In the case for a stock, when companies wish to expend but unable to do solely
through the income they earn and turn to the financial markets for additional
financing by splitting the company up into stocks, and then sell a portion of on the
open market. A person who buys stock is therefore buying an actual share of the
company, which makes him or her part owner (Kenny, 2016). Due to this, the person
who owns the stock (with the exception to preferred stocks) is entitled to vote on
annual general meeting.
Period of ownership
As bond has a loan period. The issuer issues a bond that contains the interest rate that
will be paid and the time at which the loaned funds (bond principal) must be returned
also known as maturity date ( Bond, n.d.) As for stocks, the owner can own for an
unlimited period until he or she

Corporate structures remained largely unchanged between the end of World War
II and 1980 but that was all about to change. Competition from Japan, the desktop
PC and the dawn of the information age forced GE to rethink its operational model
and search for a strategy that would enable them to remain competitive as the
century ended. Welch quickly assessed that GE was too big and too slow to
maintain its current market positions much less grow them. The strategic planning
model Welch inherited held nine layers between idea and decision with over 200
personnel involved in the process, hardly lean and agile . John Boyd developed
what he called the OODA Loop to describe winning in air combat maneuvers. The
OODA Loop consists of a cycle of four steps; Observe, Orientate, Decide, Act

who has the fastest OODA Loop cycle will win. The OODA Loop found advocates
not only in the U.S. military, but also in the realms of business and sports anywhere
a competitor seeks and edge. (McIntosh, 2011). Welch recognized that if GE was to
win against the completion he needed to cycle its strategic planning OODA Loop
faster. He responded by eliminating 5 layers of bureaucracy and over 50% of the
planning staff. We used to have department managers, sector managers, subsector

The Generation Of The New Generation
The unknown future may be frightening, but knowing the Millennials are the next
generation of leaders to change the world should be comforting. Millennials make
up the population of society that was born between 1980 and 2000 and in America
there are more millennials right now than baby boomers more than 80 million
(Simmons Duffit). Just like every new generation, the Millennials have been
endlessly criticized by older generations. They have been called lazy, entitled, self
absorbed, social media crazed, technology addicts, privileged, and so much more.
This generation change has drawn more public attention than ever before, maybe
because of the access to widespread information nowadays or maybe because this
time, it s a bigger deal. Millennials aren t afraid to address this topic because they
believe that they can change the world for the better. They want the judgements in
communities and the criticisms in the workplace to stop. They want society to
realize they are not so different from generations before, they are already
transforming life as we know it, and that they will soon be the next generation of
leaders and nothing can change that. Although Millennials can be perceived in
multiple negative aspects, older generations should be open to the unique potential
that this massive generation has to offer as an opportunity to close the gap of
separation and learn to grow from each other. One of the most common criticism of
Millennials is their tendency to be lazy.

Comparing The Social Science Fiction Novel 1984 And The...
A dystopia is a futuristic, imagined universe in which oppressive societal control
and the illusion of a perfect society are maintained through corporate, bureaucratic,
technological, moral, or totalitarian control. A more recent dystopia is the book or
movie The Giver. The book starts out as what seems like a utopia where all pain,
disease, and conflict have been abolished. As the book progresses and the main
character Jonas gains insight into what the people have willingly given up their
freedoms and individualities for the so called common good of the community, it
becomes more and more obvious that the community is a horrible place in which to
live. Many authors use their dystopian novels to voice their opinion of where the
world is heading. The social science fiction novel 1984 written by George Orwell
has many similarities and differences as the science fiction movie The Matrix
directed by Lana Wachowski. In the dystopian worlds in both the book and the
movie, the characters have similar feelings towards how their worlds are ran. In
1984 characters Winston and Julia share the same feelings towards their world,
they both decide to rebel against the government, this lead the two to fall in love
with each other. Winston first begins to rebel by going into one of the shops owned

Subway Propaganda
People have used propaganda, in many forms, to convince people into believing in
their message for various reasons. One example is Subway s advertisements and
commercials. Subway is known for allowing customers to choose what goes on
their sandwiches from their selection of bread, meats, cheese, and vegetables. In
several of Subway s commercials, one of their employees is making a sandwich for
a customer. During these commercials, the customer or employee always
emphasizes how Subway s sandwiches are made fresh every day, and then their
commercials end with their widely known slogan, Subway, eat fresh. In these
commercials, Subway keeps mentioning the use of fresh ingredients in their

Subway has millions of people that believe Subway s food is actually fresh. But

reparations to the Allies. In 1921, as Germany could not pay, French and Belgian
troops invaded and occupied the Ruhr to take goods and raw materials. (Holocaust
Explained)14 Due to the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, Germany had to pay
reparations as well as debts from the war to those who fought for Germany. Due to the
money the country owed, inflation occurred and money became useless in Germany.
Businesses became bankrupt and millions of Germans were unemployed. Hitler knew
how to manipulate the German people into helping him rise to power. He first started
out with speeches, with the ideology of anti Semitism revolved around it, in order to

Rent Books Essay
Renting Books
Have you ever thought how to save some money from buying books for college?
Well, forget about buying anything! Rent the books, like I did on www.chegg.com ,
the online web page where students and everyone else can find the books to rent
instead of buying them and spending more money.
When I heard about the website for the first time from a student who studies at the
same college as me, I was surprised that renting books through the internet is even
possible, because I did not realize before, that this kind of service is provided for
people online. This ad is unique to the students audience primarily. Socially and
culturally, it addresses issues of saving money.
Once I visited the renting page, and I paid for some ... Show more content on

After renting at least one book, the customer gets a message that he/she did a great
job by renting and not buying books and that a young tree would be planted
somewhere he/she wants to plant it. The customer may choose the place for the tree
on a map.
In my opinion, this kind of advertisement deserves to be praised, because it shows
some care about our common home, and it looks appealing for many people. Perhaps
it is one of the reasons why renting books is becoming more popular and known
among students.
The only thing I did not like much about the service is that shipping took more
time than it is supposed to take according to the shipping terms, and the price of it
was higher than I thought it would be. That was not convenient for me, because I
had to borrow some books from my friends and other students till my own books
finally arrived. Even so, I was not much disappointed with it, because my goal was to
save money and time was less important.
The day I received my books I was very happy, because it was my first time I tried
to rent some books online, and I was not one hundred percent sure that I did
everything right. After I saw the books I realized immediately that there are lots of
advantages and reasons why people should not buy brand new books, but should rent
them.
Nobody wants to pay for the books more than they actually cost, particularly students
who always try to save some

Seasons Essay. Lesson Zone AU - Four Seasons

  • 1. Seasons Essay Crafting an essay on the topic of seasons may seem deceptively simple at first glance, as one might think it primarily involves describing the changes in weather throughout the year. However, delving deeper into the task reveals the complexity that lies beneath the surface. The challenge lies not only in providing a mere chronological account of seasonal shifts but also in capturing the essence of each season, exploring the emotions they evoke, and examining their impact on various aspects of life. To successfully compose a meaningful seasons essay, one must navigate through the delicate balance of vivid imagery and eloquent language. It requires the skill to paint a picture with words, allowing readers to feel the crispness of autumn leaves underfoot, hear the gentle rustle of spring blossoms, or sense the warmth of a summer breeze. The challenge is to transport the audience into the heart of each season, making them experience the subtle nuances that make them unique. Moreover, the task extends beyond the sensory aspects. A compelling essay on seasons delves into the cultural, societal, and psychological dimensions tied to each time of the year. Exploring how seasons influence human activities, traditions, and moods adds layers of complexity to the writing process. It requires thorough research to understand the cultural significance attached to specific seasons in different regions, and how these perceptions have evolved over time. The difficulty also lies in avoiding clichГ©s and crafting a narrative that feels fresh and original. With countless essays on seasons already available, the challenge is to present a perspective that stands out, offering readers a unique insight or a fresh angle on a familiar theme. In conclusion, writing a compelling essay on seasons is a task that demands more than a mere observation of temperature changes. It requires the finesse to weave a tapestry of words that not only depicts the physical transformations but also captures the essence, emotions, and cultural nuances associated with each season. It's a journey into the delicate dance of nature and human experience, making it a challenge worth embracing for those who seek to master the art of essay writing. For assistance with similar essays and more, you can explore HelpWriting.net, where professional writers are ready to help you tackle the complexities of various topics. Seasons Essay Seasons Essay

In Lewis book March, he tells his story of segregation in the 60 s and the events that shaped his life. From when he was a little kid, to an older adult, March displays Lewis deal with the segregation in the south, and the hardships others endure. Although he experienced many events in his life, John Lewis used those events to build himself religiously and help others. Receiving his first bible, Jim Lawson s workshops, his decision not to go to college and Martin Luther King s speech all helped him become who he is. One of Lewis earliest turning points in his life was when his uncle gave him his first bible. Lewis recalls, Growing up, what I really wanted to be was a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So although Lewis didn t get to attend Troy, he ended up meeting people in Nashville that influenced his life positively. Even though his bible was important to him, Jim Lawson workshops shaped his beliefs of nonviolence and love, being the ultimate turning point. The workshops taught others how to react when someone was harassing them, physically or verbally. Lewis especially learned a lot through these workshops and what Lawson was preaching. He claimed, His words liberated me. I thought this is it. This is the way out (Lewis 78). See Figure1. Taking up a whole page in March, this picture shows Lewis gazing into the distance with the quote above him, almost as if he s had a revelation. Through that moment, Lewis learned that nonviolent protest was the answer. Lewis was so moved by these workshops, he wanted to tell everyone, I told my classmates. I told two of my closest friends Bernard Lafayette and James Bevel. I told everyone they should come to this workshop (Lewis 79). Lewis really believed these workshops were the answer, he wanted everyone to attend and learn the ways of civil disobedience. To Lewis, this was the only answer. Lastly, one of Lewis most important life events was when he heard Martin Luther King s speech on the radio.

The European airline industry suits this choice of topic very well as it is a business operating largely across European borders, but it has also been the center of a substantial amount of EU legislation through the deregulation of the industry and the abandonment of state aid for national carriers. This has contributed to great changes in the dynamics and structure of the European airline industry, which I find fascinating and have therefore chosen to analyse this development in more detail through
  • 6. Comparing Horatio Alger s Nickel And Dimed No Nickels or Dimes Horatio Alger Jr. was an American writer during the 1800s. During this time period, Alger wrote stories about boys who went from extreme poverty to the average middle class, which is what some consider the American Dream. The stories he wrote always contained the same three elements, according to Harlon L. Dalton of Yale Law School: each of is judged solely on his or her merit; we each have a fair opportunity to develop those merits; ultimately, merit will win out. In spite of these notions, Barbara Ehrenreich, author of Nickel and Dimed, went out into the world as a low wage worker and tested these hypotheses. The idea that somebody is judged based solely on his or her merit is entirely false, at least in our current day society. Low wage workers, or the lower class entirely, are given harmful stereotypes that decrease their chances of having jobs and changes the way their employers treat them. This is, of course, compared to the average middle class. When going through the job application process, entry level jobs usually require a drug test, a demeaning and tedious task. The frequency of the presumed need for drug testing gives light to a harmful stereotype: that every minimum... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ehrenreich even had a head start that many lower class citizens do not have; she had a car, no children, good health, and she had a safety net of money. In the end, however, all of her hard work and advantages could not support her, disproving Alger s last

Examples Of How To Write A Letter To John Dalton Dear Mrs. H, I am now currently in the year of 1897, and I feel as if I need to write you a letter because I haven t seen you in ages and you ve taught me so much so I need your advice. The atomic structure in my point of view is completely different to John Dalton s. His model influenced me to create mine; Dalton s claim was that matter consists of atoms, which are indestructible, atoms of the same element were identical in mass and some properties, but atoms from different elements don t have similar characteristics. He said that atoms are the smallest unit of matter, and that atoms combined as compounds in fixed numerical ratios, which he also determined. But, I believed that atoms were the fundamental building blocks of matter and then later on, I predicted that the atomic model was positively charged with electrons scattered around the inside of the atom. I then conducted an experiment to provide evidence for my predictions, using magnets of electricity, and I found that as soon as the electricity passes and hits the cathode (metal conductor of electricity), it lights up creating a beam of electrons that move from one negative end (cathode) to one positive end (anode). After removing all the gas, the small hole in the anode lets the beam pass through, creating a thin line. Using a magnet, he made the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The next time you experience a sale like this, you will just be experiencing deja vu....so hurry

The Wolfpack is a 2015 documentary that tells the story of the Angulo family, specifically the six movie obsessed brothers, and their life in a tiny New York City apartment. The Angulo brothers, all named by their Hare Krishna father for different iterations of the god Krishna, shared a six room apartment with their parents and older sister, Visnu. Their tight knit relationship developed in part from the isolation the family experienced during the boys childhood. During the film, they tell the camera how their father had the only key to the apartment and controlled their excursions into the outside world. Sometimes we got out once a year, says Mukunda Angulo, and one particular year we never got out at all (The Wolfpack 2015). To compensate for this lack of interaction with the outside world, the brothers turned to movies, watching thousands of films during the years they stayed inside the apartment. Their story is unique and compelling. These brothers, despite or perhaps because of the conditions they were raised in, developed a strength and resiliency that allows them to be surprisingly well adjusted to modern American life. They now have Facebook pages and Instagram accounts, friends, love interests, and some have picked up Americanized names (Krisna is now Glenn, and Jagadisa goes by Eddie). The Wolfpack offers viewers a glimpse into their world, as filmmaker Crystal Moselle was given unprecedented access to their apartment and their lives. Moselle has

He wants us to have the ability to act autonomously. As a side effect of free will, humans make mistakes when faced with choices and cause themselves or others to suffer. This idea of personal freedom was not popular at the time Walden was only a marginal success. Afterward, in the Civil Rights moment the Walden became very popular with young Americans. The Walden inspired theses Americans to obtain real freedom with many examples. I see young men, my townsmen, whose misfortune it is to have inherited farms, houses, barns, cattle, and farming tools; for these are more easily acquired than got rid of. At the time most, parents expected their sons to take over the farm after the father became feeble. Therefore, most men were forced to work the farm instead of pursuing what they wanted. Instead a man becomes a machine that has no freedom. Therefore, have a feeling that his only function was to replace the old machine before him. The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation Technologies today give us the illusion of heightened freedom. In the United States, we can obtain every material item we desire. Even though we still have the highest rate of anxiety disorders and depression in the world. Thoreau explains Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth. To have true freedom and happiness you must face your demons. As material earnings can t cover up your inner truth. Many Americans can t handle the truth and this why we live a life of desperation. If a mortgage is affordable, most likely a homeowner will continue to make his or her payments on time and not foreclose on the home. For example, if a person is paying $1,000 per month in mortgage and is not able to afford this amount, by allowing them to reduce their payments to $800 on a two year agreement, the bank will temporarily lose
  • 22. Skeptecism of History and Science A skeptic is defined in two different ways, a skeptic could be considered as a person who question the validity and raise doubts to all accepted opinions or accepted conclusion; a skeptic could also be a philosopher who denies the possibility of knowledge, or even rational belief, in some sphere. When knowledge is primarily presented by an abundance of assumption is brought up. Generally, a skeptic often is required to proceed a thorough evaluation of the assumption or hypothesis presented in order to provide factual clarity. What may seem correct has the potential to be completely faulty when another evidence clashes with the primary idea. The two areas of knowledge that requires to an individual to thoroughly evaluate, question their claim, ask for clarity, consistency in logic and adequacy of evidence is history and science. When analyzing a historical event, ideally information is required to be traced back in both quantitative and qualitative variables. History could be easily manipulated, misinterpret and biased. For a particular historical event, many claims could be laid out with certain amount of evidence. For example, many historians claim that the Holocaust did not happen and the conspiracy theory that America did not plan on the moon. The reality that anyone is able to propose various theories that contradicts what may seem as facts to others proves that there are multiple perspective that needs critical analysis. Historians evaluates the evidence proposed, they

The prevalence of RVVC among childbearing women and its importance as an Egyptian public health problem make an interest to continue research on such cases to add deep knowledge on RVVC and to understand the behavior of its pathogen and its epidemiology within Egyptian patients [23]. RVVC and its control by MBL was studied previously, but unfortunately none of the published papers discussed such cases in Egyptian patients. However, some investigators found that MBL serum level was higher in RVVC cases when compared it to controls indicating that MBL might be defensive against RVVC [13]. On the contrary, other studies reported that MBL level was lower in RVVC cases compared to controls [12, 32]. Nevertheless, they depended on measurement of MBL in vaginal fluid while in the present study, MBL was measured in serum. From practical point of view, determination of MBL level in vaginal discharge is technically too difficult to perform and to standardize. Even more, the entity of vaginal fluid is changeable throughout menstrual period [33]. The present study could find an association between MBL2 exon 1 codon 54 polymorphism and susceptibility to RVVC. Carriage of mutant allele B was more frequent in women with RVVC (16.1%) than in controls (6%). In previous studies, MBL2 codon 54 polymorphism has been associated with increased frequency of RVVC in Latvian, Brazilian, Chinese, and Belgium [12, 32, 34, 35] but not Italian patients [31]. In the present study, analysis of genital hygiene behaviors among wild MBL genotypes estimated that bad genital hygiene behaviors increased the risk of RVVC by 3.47 times while the risk of RVVC has been elevated to 18.67 times in the presence of mutant MBL genotypes. These results supported the fact that RVVC is a monomicrobial; however, it is multifactorial disease in origin [36]. Moreover, good genital hygiene behaviors

One can feel the dissatisfaction that White feels on page 142 when he states, The designers of this twentieth century bazaar have been resourceful and have kept the comfort of the people in mind. Experience has taught them much. The modern technique of sightseeing is this: you sit in a chair (wired for sound) or stand on a platform (movable, glass embowered) and while sitting, standing, you are brought mysteriously into easy view of what you want to see. There is a great deal of electrically transmitted joy, but very little spontaneous joy. Tomorrow s music, I noticed, came mostly from Yesterday s singer. In fact, if Mr. Whalen wants a suggestion from me as to how to improve his show and I am reasonably confident he doesn t), it would be to snip a few wires, hire a couple of bands, and hand out ticklers. In this statement one can see that White feels that people are losing their connection to the simple and beautiful things in life. Instead people are focusing on what they want to make them happy and not the pleasure that can come with what they have. Lastly towards the end of this essay White states, My own memory of the Fair, like David s, has begun to dim. • 26. Ghosts And Skeletons By Benito Cereno Ghostly representations of the other imagine a social evil that has not been put to rest. These images reoccur in the Western canon, marking the persistence of slavery long after its abolition. Haunting, ghosts and skeletons in Benito Cereno act as a vehicle through which the suppressed return to the stage with a message. The ghosts carry with them all that the imperialists wanted to control, including emotions, and more precisely, the emotions of the oppressed. I argue that ghosts and skeletons comprise an area of tension in which the appearance of the other reveals that the dominant party s control is incomplete. Yet, the presence is merely ghostly due to the constant policing and lack of respect for the Other. These ghosts also break through the boundaries of the dominant culture s paradigms and identities (Harpham 17), signaling potential political crisis. This text signals the fear of the retaliation of the Other through ghostly representations by projecting on to the other, their own identities of brutality and irrationality. Benito Cereno by Herman Melville overturns the racist images of the colonized by relocating evil in the order of slavery. Hauntings carry the perspectives and powers of the slaves by preserving the dead amidst the living and the past amidst the present, they muddle up the concept of time and therefore defy the Western dream of complete control. In Benito Cereno, which was written by Melville in 1855, New England captain Amasa Delano comes

In Germany, they consider a person who is 21 or above a legal adult. On the other hand, at the age of 17 in Australia you are charged as an adult. They way they treat juveniles in prisonalso differs. The U.S has some good ideas with helping juveniles, but the U.S could also make some drastic positive impacts in the lives of these minors by focusing more on rehabilitation and less on incarceration. One example is the fact that the U.S sentences minors to life in prison; taking away the possibility of returning to their families or becoming a contributing member of society. By adopting some of these laws of other countries the U.S could cut down on costs of housing so many inmates and, like Japan, keep them at minimum security detention centers. This would also allow the possibility for juveniles to better their lives and in turn counsel other youth that are at risk of getting in trouble with the law, decreasing the rate of juvenile crime; benefitting the system as a

Nevertheless, the many opponents of this initiative are arguing otherwise. One argument against a paid maternity leave is based on the assumption that one of the parents should not be working in the first place. In other words, a full time stay at home parent is beneficial to the development of the child and therefore a paid limited time maternity leave is redundant and is simply a waste of resources. Suzanne Venker, a writer, insists that According to Public Agenda, 70% of parents with children under age five believe having a parent at home is best. And 63% disagree that children in daycare receive just as good care and attention as with a stay at home parent. These findings are commensurate with 2014 Pew data that shows 60% of Americans say children are better off when a parent stays home to focus on the family. Germany hasn t followed up on its World Cup success, so people are starting to revert to their previous beliefs about the country. This always happens and it can only be prevented by projecting a constant, unbroken stream of dramatic evidence that the country deserves the reputation it desires. Even in countries where Germany did not previously enjoy a great reputation, the country s image was massively enhanced after what has gone down in the history books as Germany s summer fairytale . Does this mean that some elements of the brand essence are in fact very volatile, in other words, nice weather, high spirits, exciting matches is all it takes to change an image? Is it really that simple? No, they really aren t volatile at all: quite the contrary. National image is more like a fixed asset than a liquid capital, and normally can t be changed at all. In this paper, I hope to learn about the effect they have on environment and what we can do about it. Position: I currently believe that invasive species have a large impact on the environment, but I am not sure of the extent of it. I feel more needs to be done about it because in the general public not many are concerned about it. I hope to find out more about this issue in order to back my theory. Research Strategy: In order to back my idea I will find several informed and scholarly articles, backing my theory. This includes looking at the effects invasive species have on the native ones. A share is defined as a unit of ownership interest in a corporation or financial asset that provide for an equal supply in any profits, in the form of dividends ( Shares, n.d.). Ownership and rights As stated in the beginning, a bond is considered as a loan from the investor. Therefore if a person bought a bond such as corporate bonds from a bond issuer, he or she does not have any ownership in the company with no direct control over the business. Competition from Japan, the desktop PC and the dawn of the information age forced GE to rethink its operational model and search for a strategy that would enable them to remain competitive as the century ended. Welch quickly assessed that GE was too big and too slow to maintain its current market positions much less grow them. The strategic planning model Welch inherited held nine layers between idea and decision with over 200 personnel involved in the process, hardly lean and agile . Millennials make up the population of society that was born between 1980 and 2000 and in America there are more millennials right now than baby boomers more than 80 million (Simmons Duffit). Just like every new generation, the Millennials have been endlessly criticized by older generations. They have been called lazy, entitled, self absorbed, social media crazed, technology addicts, privileged, and so much more. This generation change has drawn more public attention than ever before, maybe because of the access to widespread information nowadays or maybe because this time, it s a bigger deal. Millennials aren t afraid to address this topic because they believe that they can change the world for the better. They want the judgements in communities and the criticisms in the workplace to stop. They want society to realize they are not so different from generations before, they are already transforming life as we know it, and that they will soon be the next generation of leaders and nothing can change that. Although Millennials can be perceived in multiple negative aspects, older generations should be open to the unique potential that this massive generation has to offer as an opportunity to close the gap of separation and learn to grow from each other. One of the most common criticism of Millennials is their tendency to be lazy.

As the book progresses and the main character Jonas gains insight into what the people have willingly given up their freedoms and individualities for the so called common good of the community, it becomes more and more obvious that the community is a horrible place in which to live.
