serious band despite the original of ‘Hollywood Vampires’, being a
drink club. Their faces also follow the rule of thirds which makes
it more appealing and engaging to the audience. Their clothes
relate to how they are a rock band, and also have a fairly vintage
feel which relates to how this magazine focuses on ‘classic rock’.
The font used for the bands name is a decorative font which
makes it stand out as it is juxtaposed to the surrounding font. It is
also in pink which makes it more noticeable and engaging.
Similarly to this the last names of the band are in bold, which
makes them more noticeable. This relates to how the three are

image on the front cover. As it only shows two of
them, it suggests these two are more known and
more important to the band. Their body language
shows a very close relationship between the two.
As Johnny Depp is facing towards Alice Cooper, it
relates to how Cooper is the lead and creator of
the band. The picture also shows Depp with a
plaster, this relates to how he plays guitar in the
band, it also relates to how they are a serious rock
band. Their outfits are fully black, which relates to
how they are rock band. The clothes also fairly
dirty and old, relating to how they're a ‘classic

cover. The page numbers are in different colour to
stand out. The font used in the ‘features’ section
for the headline is still a serif font, this creates a
house style.

been separated from the main list of
page. This shows how it is different to
the other articles. The us of the word
“your” makes it more inclusive to the
reader. It also emphasis the plug
“free”. The article on the CD is an
explanation of the cd,which makes it
engaging as it increases the
importance of it as it is not just a free
CD but a CD that needs to be
explained.
There is also a fairly minimalistic
element to the contents page. This is
because it is fairly plain, leaving the
focus on the articles and the contents
of the magazine. This makes it more
appealing to target audience, and
similarly it makes it more suitable due
to the age of the target audience. This
also shows how the magazine is
completely focused on music and
shows the importance of the music in
the magazine.

image of a different band. This relates to how
they are advertising a different story. Their
clothing and body language relates to the band
and their genre. This is because they were a
more mellowed rock band. It also relates to
how they are a 70s band. There is also the
