The acting was very natural. It s what drew me in the play the most. In previous
plays, I was always usually distracted with the pretty lights, attractive costumes,
and the loud catchy music in the background. If summed up into a couple of words
this play was just dialogue between two characters. It was a wonderful story. They
were able to get across the theme across in a very subtle way which I thought was
cool. It wasn t that obvious either. As the story moves along and the communication
between the uncle and niece increase, they both start realizing their fault along
with the audience. The only thing that drew me out was that I sort of felt cramped

was too close. I needed some space so I could the entire stage and what movements
the actors were doing. My favorite moment was the night scene in which the iguana
scratches on the roof and really disturbs Becky. It was hilarious and needed to light
up the mood. The atmosphere of the play started out funny and then drops to very
serious. We find out about Sterling who has a depressing life himself at the Labyrinth

The play I went to go to see was called An Octoroon written by Branden Jacobs
Jenkins. I have never been to a play at the Mixed Blood Theatre, so I was very
excited to go and see this play. This play has been mentioned a lot lately by some
of my theatre professors, and they said it would be very interesting. They also
mentioned to not worry about the bunny too much, but I did. I am very glad I got
to see this unique play with its many interesting views. The beginning of the play
was very interesting in several ways. Firstly, the choice of dialect took me surprise
because of its vulgar nature. I personally enjoyed the use of speech because I find
it interesting when people use words freely when they are normally looked down
upon. The music that was played gave made another strong impression on me. The
title of the song was Bonfire by Childish Gambino, and it set a very interesting
mood. It definitely took me by surprise and I did not know how to react in that
situation. I just stared with my mouth open and tried to figure out why that song was
being played. Another thing that I found interesting was when the actors put makeup
and different clothes on in front of us. Seeing the actors start changing into new
characters right in front of me made me very intrigued about how people can break
the socially constructed ideas of how theatreworks.
The middle of the play made me confused for a good chunk of the time. The bunny
was beyond creepy and I tried to understand what its

I honest believe this is the only remedy for providing up to date technology, the
company has to make it a priority to provide the same technology to the global
environment. The customs can be corrected by provided a print out of what is
allowed and what is not allowed to be brought into or out of a country a passenger
is traveling through. The information is available online but some older passengers
aren t as savvy with technology so they may not receive the same information. With
this tactic there is not any excuse for not knowing what is expected when going
through customs. The strategies I stated above will be successful, only if they are

In Aristophanes play Lysistrata, the plot is during the middle of the Peloponnesian
war. The title character Lysistrata, is a Athenian woman who has convened a
meeting with the women whose husbands are off fighting in the war. Lysistrata
arranges the meeting in order to propose a solution to ending the war which
includes the women withholding sex from their husbands. Initially, the women
don t like the idea of her plan but soon come to agree with her after realizing that it
may be the only way to get the men to stop fighting. All of the women then take an
oath and swear off sex until a peace treaty is signed. Lysistrata also plans to attack
and seize the nearby acropolis, which contains the Athenian treasury, in order to cut
off funding to the war. When the chorus of women go to the acropolis, they are met
by a chorus of men who have intentions of smoking the women out of it but the
women meet them with buckets of water. After multiple altercations with different
people in the men s chorus, one of the women s husbands shows up wanting to
have sex with his wife and she plays along with him, giving him the impression that
they re going to have sex but then soon runs back to the acropolis with the other
women. Upon their return, men from both the nearby cities as well as Sparta
realize that they have something in common: their wives are all withholding sex
from them and the conspiracy is international. Upon the realization of this, the men
decide to declare peace with one another and the story concludes with large
