8. These mood boards combine all the aspects I want to merge together
to create my album cover. I’ve chosen the colours black, red and
most prominently gold. I’ve chosen this combination of colours as
they together emulate glamour and connote to 1920’s America.
The gold is going to be the main feature colour as it is instantly
recognised as being luxurious and lavish, this is the feel in trying
to go for in the album cover; it also is appropriate for my ‘gatsby’
theme. The black creates a sense of darkness or mystique, and this
will become useful if I wanted to add a mysterious feeling to
cover. Red such an iconic colour that immediately brings forward
the idea of power, sex appeal and making a statement. All these
colours bring together the ideal image I wish to portray, and fit in
with my target audience of adults, with the sex appeal for the men
and the glamour for the women.

9. I have incorporated a mixture of feathers and champagne, along with
other 1920’s themed décor to extenuate the time period I wish for the
album to look as if it were set in. I’ve chosen to base my theme
around 1920’s America due to the fact I believe it was such a
glamorous time period which were known for their extravagant
parties, this is what I indent on basing my music video around- and
in tern my album cover. The casino and show girl photographs are
simply to reinforce not only the time but also the parting and
luxurious aspects. This is further emphasised in the page dedicated to
costume, hair and makeup; this is a brainstorm of ideas on how I plan
to have my model looking in order to portray a lavish and wealthy
feel. The chandeliers relate to the song itself, as this is the title, along
with the Artist name of Luna (as this connoted to light) and I plan to
involve this somehow in the music video.
